Major Hasan’s Islamist Life – by Daniel Pipes

ht_hasan_hood_091105_main

As the Pentagon and Senate launch what one analyst dubs “dueling Fort Hood investigations,” will they confront the hard truth of the Islamic angle?

Despite encouraging references to “violent Islamists” by Sen. Joseph Lieberman (Democrat of Connecticut), chairman of the Homeland Security Committee, there is reason to worry about a whitewash of the massacre that took place on Nov. 5; that is just so much easier than facing the implications of a hostile ideology nearly exclusive to Muslims.

Indeed, initial responses from the U.S. Army, law enforcement, politicians, and journalists broadly agreed that Maj. Nidal Hasan’s murderous rampage had nothing to do with Islam. Barack Obama declared “We cannot fully know what leads a man to do such a thing” and Evan Thomas of Newsweek dismissed Hasan as “a nut case.”

But evidence keeps accumulating that confirms Hasan’s Islamist outlook, his jihadi temperament, and his bitter hatred of kafirs (infidels). I reviewed the initial facts about his record in an article that appeared on Nov. 9 but much more information subsequently appeared; here follows a summary. The evidence divides into three parts, starting with Hasan’s stint at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center:

  • He delivered an hour-long formal medical presentation to his supervisors and some 25 mental health staff members in June 2007, the culminating exercise of his residency program at Walter Reed. What was supposed to be on a medical topic of his choosing instead turned into a 50-slide PowerPoint talk on “The Koranic World View As It Relates to Muslims in the U.S. Military” that offered such commentary as “It’s getting harder and harder for Muslims in the service to morally justify being in a military that seems constantly engaged against fellow Muslims” and the “Department of Defense should allow Muslims [sic] Soldiers the option of being released as ‘Conscientious objectors’ to increase troop morale and decrease adverse events.” One person present at the presentation recalls how, by the time of its conclusion, “The senior doctors looked really upset.”
  • Hasan informed at least one patient at Walter Reed that “Islam can save your soul.”
  • So apparent were Hasan’s Islamist proclivities, reports National Public Radio, that key psychiatry authorities at Walter Reed met to discuss if he was psychotic. One official told colleagues of his worries “that if Hasan deployed to Iraq or Afghanistan, he might leak secret military information to Islamic extremists. Another official reportedly wondered aloud to colleagues whether Hasan might be capable of committing fratricide,” recalling Sergeant Hasan Akbar’s 2003 rampage.

Then followed Hasan’s record at Ft. Hood:

  • His supervisor, Captain Naomi Surman, recalled his telling her that as an infidel she who would be “ripped to shreds” and “burn in hell.” Another person reports his declaring that infidels should be beheaded and have boiling oil poured down their throats.
  • In his psychiatric counseling sessions with soldiers returned from Iraq and Afghanistan, Hasan heard information he considered tantamount to war crimes. As late as Nov. 2, three days before his murderous spree, he tried to convince at least two of his superior officers, Surman and Colonel Anthony Febbo, about the need legally to prosecute the soldiers.
  • Hasan routinely signed his e-mails with “Praise Be to Allah.”
  • He listed his first name as Abduwalli, rather than Nidal, in the e-mail address in his official Army personnel record. ‘Abd al-Wali is an Arabic name meaning “Slave of the Patron,” where Patron is one of God’s 99 names. It is not clear why Hasan did this, but Abduwalli could have been a nom de guerre, this being a common practice among Palestinians (Yasir Arafat even had two them – Yasir Arafat and Abu Ammar).

hasan_wpThe title page of Nidal Hasan’s PowerPoint demonstration for a medical lecture in June 2007, indicates how little interest he took in medicine and how much in the perceived contradiction between being a Muslim and an American soldier.

Finally, Hasan’s extracurricular activities revealed his outlook:

  • He designed green and white personal business cards that made no mention of his military affiliation. Instead, they included his name, then “Behavior Heatlh [sic] Mental Health and Life Skills,” a Maryland mobile phone number, an AOL e-mail address, and “SoA (SWT).” SoA is the jihadi abbreviation for Soldier of Allah and SWT stands for Subhanahu wa-Ta‘ala, or “Glory to Him, the Exalted.”
  • Hasan contacted jihadi web sites via multiple e-mail addresses and screen names.
  • He traded 18 e-mails between Dec. 2008 and June 2009 with Anwar al-Awlaki, Al-Qaeda recruiter, inspiration for at least two other North American terror plots, and fugitive from U.S. justice. Awlaki had been Hasan’s spiritual leader at two mosques, Masjid Al-Ribat Al-Islami in San Diego and the Dar al-Hijrah Islamic Center outside Washington, D.C., and he acknowledges becoming Hasan’s confidant. Awlaki speculates that he may have influenced Hasan’s evolution and praises Hasan for the massacre, calling him a “hero” who “did the right thing” by killing U.S. soldiers before they could attack Muslims in Iraq and Afghanistan.
  • In those e-mails, Hasan asked Awlaki when jihad is appropriate and about killing innocents in a suicide attack. “I can’t wait to join you” in the afterlife for discussions over non-alcoholic wine, Hasan wrote him. One Yemeni analyst calls Hasan “almost a member of Al-Qaeda.”
  • “My strength is my financial capabilities,” Hasan boasted to Awlaki, and he donated $20,000 to $30,000 a year to Islamic “charities” outside the United States, some of it going to Pakistan.
  • That Hasan, of Palestinian extraction, wore Pakistani clothing on the morning of his rampage points to his jihadi mentality.
  • Hasan had “more unexplained connections to people being tracked by the FBI,” other than Awlaki, including some in Europe. One official characterized these as “Islamic extremists if not necessarily al Qaeda.”
  • Duane Reasoner Jr., the 18-year-old Muslim convert whom Hasan mentored in Islam, calls himself a “extremist, fundamentalist, mujhadeen, Muslim” who outspokenly supports Awlaki, Osama Bin Laden, the Taliban, Omar Abdur Rahman (the blind sheikh) and Adam Gadahn (Al-Qaeda’s top American figure).

These symptoms in the aggregate leave little doubt about Hasan’s jihadi mentality. But will the investigations allow themselves to see his motivation? Doing so means changing it from a war on “overseas contingency operations” and “man-caused disasters” to a war on radical Islam. Are Americans ready for that?

First and foremost, Nidal Hasan should not be referred to as “Major Hasan.” He does not deserve the army title.
Secondly, it should not be necessary to have to draw so many intricate dots/connections as Daniel Pipes has so astutely drawn in order to have to make an obvious point. “Wake up and smell the coffee!” Americans from the presidency down have to admit what Islamacism purports to accomplish here and abroad. If Americans stay in a state of denial, there will increasingly be acts as violent and worse than what has been suffered at Fort Hood.
With great hope, this horrifying incident should be a lesson of magnitude.

Mr. Pipes, the evidence of Hasan's conversion to Islamic extremism is clear. It is probably also the case that the Obama administration, Newsweek and others understand that as well. But when strikes one about Hasan's case is that he is also a nutcase. The presentation he gave at Walter Reed and the statements he made to other officers clearly show that he had no tact about being clever or deceptive.

The bearing of this case can create national tensions. The Obama administration and other MSM can report November 5th as the actions of a nutcase because nobody wants to raise the red-flag that might cause social tension, even though the great majority of people in the US will view this as an act of terrorism.

In fact, I believe the army has recently classified the deaths of those soldiers as battlefield casualties — do to a terrorist attack.

The greater issue here is that the PC philosophy operating in the military allowed this situation to materialize and then expload. Hasan should have been detected early and brought before a military hearing to determine his true state of mind. Simply discharging him from the army might have led him to commit some attrocity against civilians.

One might assume that all four services are operating quietly in the background to determine whether other cases of troubled Muslim soldiers are still out their. Because if this happens again, then the policies of the military are going to be called into serious question.

Walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, looks like a duck…….hmmm must be a bunny rabbit.

What else could be happening here, than outright covering for the enemy. When you stop and think about it, the enemy must have a giant pile of money/oil to buy our politians off to look the other way.

The tree of freedom must continually be watered with the blood of patriots and tirants. Keep it up, you enemies within.

Do you wonder why Obama wants the FBI report on the Ft. Hood massacre to go directly to the Oval Office instead of to the media or directly to the people? It is because:—-The Ft. Hood Muslim Army Major terrorist Nidal Hasan was a member of Obama’s Transition Task Force run by the Homeland Security Policy Institute. Go to the link below and scan down to pg. 29. You will see him on the list on the left…quite an embarrassment. He is one of those who helped target whites and right-wing people as dangerous radicals. LEARN HOW TO PREVENT FUTURE NIDAL HASANS

The dilemma caused by the shooting at Fort Hood by Major Hasan exemplifies how each of our programs have failed us. When supervisors, counselors and task forces members rely on subjective references of culture and mental illness, observers miss the signs specific to aggression referenced in post analysis. When observers focus specifically on aggressive behavior, the objective and culturally neutral signs of “aggression” standout, providing the opportunity to prevent these violent encounters.

Major Hasan was under surveillance by two Terrorist Task Forces, one with Department of Defense oversight and the other with FBI oversight. So why wasn’t he stopped?

The use of subjective/qualitative indicators, prone to stereotype individuals by culture or religion; versus quantitative indicators and the use of mental health references know to mislead and misconstrue, fails us repeatedly in our attempts to prevent acts of violence. Only when we use the specificity of “aggression” and its objective, culturally neutral indicators can we get-out-in-front of these acts of aggression and prevent them. Why are current systems uses on campus failing us?

The answer is quite simple – The military does not have an objective and culturally neutral system that collects information and evaluates it to determine the degree (or level) of aggression an individual is displaying, nor has it people who have a clear responsibility to observe and report this information. There is more than enough evidence to prove this killer to be just what he is a murderer of vile distinction. It should be more than enough to deliver him to the hangman and make no mistake he should be hanged.

  • mojobebop

this was a total outrage, and could have been averted if not for the pc attitude of the military. those who claim this was not an act of terrorism ought to be shunned by the rest of the country.

one point i agree with hasan however; “Department of Defense should allow Muslims [sic] Soldiers the option of being released as ‘Conscientious objectors’ to increase troop morale and decrease adverse events”.

i really believe muslims who want out should get out.

  • Timmy

Is it expecting too much from a bunch of highly trained presumably quite intelligent doctors who associated with him in the army that they should have used this guy to learn something? Assuming that his hidden jihad activity was not known but only that he gave the slide presentation, some would suggest that he “obviously” should have been thrown out of the army for that. But he did tell the truth about Islam in that presentation which actually was doing the clueless infidels a big favor. Shouldn't they have changed his duties, removed him from any patient treatment assignments, removed any managerial duties, but USED him to get into his head, used him to analyze the idea of Muslims in our military, used him to learn more about the jihadist ideology? Clearly he was mishandled but simply tossing him out of the army was not the answer. Would we then throw any Muslim out who believes what the Koran says – which is basically all the slide presentation was?

  • jaygetty

I believe that the American people have been “sold out” by its leaders; Iraq and Afghanistan are places we sacrifice our best defenders as part of our surrender terms. I am the top intel analyst alive today; no one can match my credentials for the last 31 years for deducing what is happening and what is coming; including the downfall, by popular uprising, of government operating out of Moscow: 1980; WTC would again be hit: 1999, and I refused to travel south of 40th St. N.Y. after 1/99. The draft will be back as part of the culling of Americans.Vote out everyone currently elected to national office and only vote for local heroes who saved someone from a burning building or something like that; or buy a burqa.

  • Timmy

If Obama was smart he would distance himself from Hasan from the start saying that he is shocked and saddened that he was on the transition team. If he tries to make sure that one of the many absurd non-Islam excuses for the attack are used in the final report that will only make him look worse.

Perhaps in addition to the PC concerns people in charge knew that this guy was on Obama's transition team and possibly connected to him somehow and that too contributed to the reluctance to deal with him. They didn't want the treatment that Officer Crowley got when he arrested the “distinguished professor” Gates and Obama jumped right out of the gates declaring the officer acted stupidly.

  • melisahubbard

Watch the media and pundits dance around trying to figure out if he was “Al Qaeda” or “homegrown/lone actor”. What the hell difference does it make?
Al Qaeda are just a better organized (sometimes) version of several thousand Nidal Hassans.

They act as if it's Al Qaeda then it's terrorism, but anyone else must just be nuts. Do you now understand there is no distinction????

  • melisahubbard

Great post, but I would pick at one point: He did not “convert” to “Islamic extremism”. He is a Muslim, who most fervently adhered to the many, many militant, adversarial, hateful, racist, war-mongering, totalitarian, frozen-in-time-for-all-time, tenets of the Qur'an and ahadith. He decided to act on those beliefs.

No conversion necessary though…just more devout than average.

  • melisahubbard

Absolutely…even in our own lives and judgments, I was just thinking about this the other day, that we should make lists of objective adjectives and descriptors, versus subjective adjectives, so that communication is clearer and it's easier to identify weasel words.

  • melisahubbard

Just like I believe the Quakers, etc. should be deserving of CO status, so should Muslims. It's just understandable.

But hey, at least it strikes a blow against the “well, he was so poor and oppressed…etc.” By his own words, he said his wealth was his strength (aka “money jihad”)

…detainees being held in modern facilities “filled with amenities that most American people could only dream of.”

…There also are three members of the medical profession, doctors and nurses, for each inmate…

“They watch movies weekly, eat a menu of six different diets from which they choose…

…the inmates “get prayer rugs, prayer caps, prayer beads and brand new Qurans. The guards may never touch the Qurans. Only a Muslim may deliver the books to the terrorists. If the terrorists are especially good, they get a fancier prayer rug.”

Inmates also are given art classes, taught English and have games, including soccer, chess, checkers and exercise machines.

Obama asked to save prisoners from soy 'torture'
    November 18, 2008
    By Bob Unruh

…Obama, Morell wrote, should “focus on a grave injustice taking place in the prisons of your home state, namely, a prison diet that is slowly killing the inmates assigned to the Illinois Department of Corrections.”This is a diet based largely on soy protein powder and soy flour.

…”The U.S. Food and Drug Administration lists 288 studies on its database showing the toxicity of soy. Numerous studies show that soy consumption leads to nutrient deficiencies, digestive disorders, endocrine disruption and thyroid problems,” the letter said.

…the inmates in Illinois are fed up to 100 grams per day – beef and chicken by-product mixtures containing 60-70 percent soy, fake soy meats and cheese, “even soy added to baked goods,” the letter said.

“Almost all suffer from serious digestive disorders, such as diarrhea or painful constipation, vomiting, irritable bowel syndrome and sharp pains,” she said. “… One reason for these problems is the high oxalic acid content of soy.

Oxalic acid, the letter said, is associated with kidney stones, can disrupt heart functions, replace bone marrow cells and impair nerve functions.

Even those who vomit or pass out immediately after eating soy cannot get an order for a soy-free diet…

A quick scan of the daily news shows the adherent of the religion of peace engaged in unspeakable acts of mayhem and murder in much of the world. There is hardly any need to allude to them here. But the Islamists have an answer for that too. Islam is not responsible, they say. It is only a bunch of opportunists who commit these acts for their own political and economic objectives. We are to believe that those daily suicide bombers explode their vests in the midst of marketplaces, funeral processions, and even mosques are doing so to further their own personal agenda.

    * Claiming “Islam” means “peace” is fraudulent to begin with. Islam is an Arabic word. And the word for peace in Arabic is “solh,” and not Islam. Islam is derived from the root word “taslim,” which means submission or surrender. Hence, Islam’s true name, surrender, is in fact most descriptive of what it is: total, unconditional submission and surrender of the individual and the community to the will and dictates of Allah as revealed by his “rasool,” messenger, Muhammad.

While it is true that any true believing Muslim should not be in the military the comparison to Quakers is grossly unfair to Quakers in that Quakers don't want to fight anyone but Muslims want to fight US, the infidels, and ONLY want out of the army when we, the infidels, need to fight precious wonderful peace loving Muslims. They are puke compared to Quakers, they could not lick the soles of the Quakers shoes.

Fort Hood captain: Hasan wanted patients to face war crimes charges

    Tuesday, November 17,

Fort Hood massacre suspect Nidal Malik Hasan sought to have some of his patients prosecuted for war crimes based on statements they made during psychiatric sessions with him, a captain who served on the base said Monday.

The problem is that Islam is unique, whatever methods of analysis or categorization that one uses in all other cases fail because nothing can account for Islam other than Islam itself. It has its own rules and those who try to fight it using infidel systems, world views, or beliefs are destined to fail. Even the very basic elemental concept of “lying” is different under Islam. Their religion authorizes them to lie in order to further the jihad. Think about that. In the West, even someone who denies Christianity or the existence of God, just from following civilizational concepts of right and wrong would believe that “lying” is wrong. No type of infidel aggression management will work on Muslims since to them they are not being aggressive, they are merely following their religion, THE religion. It is Islam that is eternally aggressive and incompatible in every way with the West. Islam cannot be allowed to spread in the West or it WILL with zero doubt destroy Western freedoms and democracies.

  • jackhampton

I do not understand what you mean? He got his way he killed a bunch of people that was his way. He was an officer he could have resigned his commission and refused shipment worst thing that would have happened he would get a bad discharge. Your comment sounds like you are giving him an excuse. No one is drafted now there is no draft. so there is no other excuse. If he had not killed these soldiers then it would have been some other people.

  • jackhampton

Well I will be labled extreme but there is only one way that this ends. The center of gravity of all terrorist evil in the world begins in Iran and there support for the killers. Persia for over a thousand years has been a crap hole of evil. Destroy Iran and it will be left to Israel to have to do it and then Sryia gets the message and no monetary support or weapons or anything else. then they have to demand that they turn over the head of Hamas and Hezbollah. It is a sad thing I know that not all of the people of Iran support the current leader but they all support the nuke program. Israel is going to have to use Nukes on these weapons sites just as we used nukes on Japan. It is either that or then the nation of Israel will simply cease to exist. Sometime you have no other choice. the Irainian leaders have openly told Israel of there intentions to wipe them from the face of the earth. Israel should have already acted.

  • jackhampton

I have understood that for some time. It is either them or us. Someone with the courage of Truman has got to step up.

  • mojobebop

i don't know how you could misinterpret what i said.
i'm saying if you have a terrorist in the ranks who is crying out to be released from the army, (and he has all these warning flags), yes, by all means let an islamofacist go. get him out. you are caught up in some technicality. get him out of there, and put him under surveilance. who cares if there is no draft. “if he had not killed these soldiers then it wouild have been some other people”, is nonsensical and assinine. what i susgest makes perfect logical sense.

  • jackhampton

I will agree with the part about surveilance and the ball was droped because the warning signs were there. If you meant that there should have been an investigation and then discharge him because of the results of the investigation then that makes sense. But you were not clear. I am looking at it from military experience and from years of investigative experience. I also agree that there was PC involved in the handling of this terrorist. But to be released all he had to do was resign his commision and refuse shipment. He was an officer. Also Hassan had made no rerquest for discharge that I am aware of citing any condition. I also disagree with just letting him go in all probability there will be found very good reasons that he should have been prosecuted and locked up but regardless your tone is abussive and there is no justification for that.

  • mojobebop

apologise for the tone. i get caught up in the media with all the nonsense about pc as related to the subject. also the manner in which for the past several years how many approach the war on terror almost as a football game sensibility. insisting above all the usa needs to be fair and ascribe to some absolute moral construct, meanwhile the other side does whatever it wants to achieve a goal. the same with the last presidential election. i could see obama was lying to achieve the goal of getting elected, then he would do what he wanted. the republican side was walking on eggshells, not using issues that they were afrain would offend others and we lost.
i mistook your position of not letting these types out of the service as being in the same vein as those i described.

  • Timmy

More truthfully the center of gravity is Mecca. It won't happen in our lifetime but at some point in the future the remaining non-Muslims of the world will have to attack there for the final battle.

  • http://www.compellingconversations.com Eric the sceptic

    Illuminating, detailed, and persuasive.

Are Americans ready to acknowledge the religious fanaticism behind the two World Trade Center attacks and the Fort Hood terrorist attack? Yes.
Is the Obama Administration willing to confront this reality? Probably not.
I'm afraid our situation resembles America in 1862 during the Civil War – except we DO NOT have a Lincoln as President. We have an appeaser who always wants to make a deal – no matter what the cost.

  • eerie Steve

As a Republican I get a lot of hazing from my leftist friends whose arguments always amount to “hey, if you want to fight, get your ass to Iraq!” Like everything, I have two answers, the short one and the long one.

The short one is John Kerry made me not go to Iraq. Why? Because I wanted all the luxuries John Kerry had when he fought. No, not that camera he used when he was trying to turn himself into some sort of JFK Frankenstein monster, but the capability, and notice I say capability, to blow up limbs, blow up bodies and raze villages in the fashion of Ghengis Khan. I at least want the same capability he had if he ever wants me to ship off from my home and fight his war, not mine.

With all aside, I do not want to be an evil person. Killing kids, no. I really would hate to do that. I will kill kids though, like those demon children from “In the Mouth of Madness” and I will be the first person to say that the man who does not kill those demon children on site is insane.

The long one is that for all intentions, the US military is an evil institution, and god bless them for it. Not evil like Jeffrey Dahlmer is evil, but more like that evil fact of nature that if you eat too many corn dogs on the log ride at disney world you will throw up, period.

It is an evil institution because it needs the capacity for more evil to fight outside evil. For all purposes, the idea of an international America does not and will never exist. It is impossible. If anything, America is a feeding frenzy in a giant shark tank where all the creatures from the deep got together and decided to elect a representative for “top killer.”

The problem is there is only one top killer, the dragon. The dragon is the beast man which reveals himself when the human body dies. Each dragon has the same tools, teeth and claws and fire breath, but you never see it until you die and you don't want to see it, but you have to. The problem is the dragon firsts poxes you when it wants too.

That is what Hasan is, same with the beltway shooters and the numerous other half wits who want to relive 9-11-01. I saw 9-11-01, and I had my dragon chew it up right there, and then I spat it out again after the towers fell because I knew that it was the evil dragon. The sneak thief and the liar dragon, left over pox from an over 50 year old war. It was as if the Arab world was misled like cattle off a cliff to say “Yeah America, Hiroshima and Nagasaki were good but we want a bomb too.”

There are protections for these poxes. In effect, Hasan is a human pimple caused by the bacteria spread by our current enemies.

I say good. Let them. Let them see what Americans do best. After all, boot camp is an outdated model. Yes, Hitler opened the machine guns on Normandy, but the real evil ones were the Samurai who let Marines land on Iwo Jima and then opened up the mountain like the fourth of July.

If anything, it is time to pull a Reynhard Heydrich. When you join the army, you do not go to “boot camp”. You are bussed into the “scary woods” in order to find the “evil insane asylum” run by female VMI cadets who masquerade as nurses!

Why? Not to torture you, but to atrophy you, because Hillary Clinton was right I guess. It does take a village. So here is what we are going to do. We are going to beat you with the “evil chain of being” first and show you the evil echelon.

First come the guys who just learned this out. You see, they are mad, and they want to behead you. But beheading is off the table so they are going to sexually assault you.

Then come the evil Army rangers with the dogs.

Then comes the wall of fire. You must not climb, but hurdle the wall of fire or otherwise fight the dogs. Wait. Nevermind. You will fight the dogs, then jump over the fire.

Then there is the evil Iman Marcinko who, if you do not know this already, brands you with your SSN! For it is not your body that is America's property, but your soul!

Out comes the kang-a-roo court which you believe is a real judge and jury. Why? Because Marcinko sets you up in a real warzone for fictitious war crimes. After the conviction comes the water board, and then the walk to the green mile.

And then we actually give you the lethal injection! You think you are dying…

Only to be waken up by Marcinko again who shoots you with a bean bag gun to remind you of the Delta force tattoo he is giving you while you are coming off your anesthesia!

You are government property, no matter what. Yes I know humans want to kill, but killing is not life. If you want to be shot at by the army, heh, there are much better ways to do it besides Hasan. I hope Satan takes a clue from this post and boils his eyes out in his skull and then ships Hasan up to heaven so Jesus can crucify him, and then deliver him back to hell for Satan to torture even more, miserable pig headed homo.

I happen to agree with your thoughts exactly.

Well I do not know what good that will do there is no military hardware there maybe to completely destroy the symbol of an evil cult. But I am thinking of where the military hardwear is kept and maintained that is shipped all over the Middle East and that is Iran.

Ain't it interesting that black racist Obama interfers with a justified police action in at some college he went to, where a police officer arrested a suspicious black man, and Obama criticizes the cops for doing their job and calls the cops racist; but with this islamoterrorist Hasan, Obama comes to the defense of the mohammedan-terrorist Hasan, by sasying we don't know what motivated him. What BS! Obama lies, Obama is a mohammedan and hates America. Impeach Obama.

I am always amazed, but not surprised, by the liberal pundits and supposed Islamic scholars that try to dismiss Mr. Pipe’s insights into Islam. As an ex-pat that has lived and worked in Muslim countries for Muslim companies, and even married into a Muslim family, I can tell you with confidence that Mr. Pipe’s is 100% correct on all issues. I can begin to count the times I have been approached by Muslims asking me why I haven’t converted to Islam and of course I am not taken back anymore when I am told that Islam is better than Christianity since Islam was actually started by GOD himself since God was speaking directly through Muhammad. I am not sure if God spoke to Muhammad before or after he personally murdered at least 1,000 Jews and Christians not to mention the hundreds of thousands that were murdered under the direction of Muhammad but I guess that doesn’t matter; at least to our current administration. Oh well, I guess we can look forward to being through into jail like all the citizens in the UK for merely speaking “Bad thoughts” against the Religion of Peace.

Obamas decision to try Major Hassan in military court martial, as opposed to federal court. Obama no doubt made this decision for one very good reason. If Hasan is convicted and if he is sentenced to death, only the President of the United States has the authority to ultimately condemn him to the gallows. Not so in federal court, where a federal judge has this authority.good ol Obama showing his Muslim heritage.

    Agreed on all accounts!

I know that God would not tell old Mohammad to rape a nine year old girl. Islam is simply a death cult. Compare Mohamad's actions with those of Christ. A thief and rapist and murderer. I know who set the best example that was a better way of life than the pedofile Mo.

Any military centers must be destroyed and that is important, but for the world to ever be safe Islam per se will have to be taken on directly at some point. Mecca as a target is important also however as unlike any location for any other religion it has such a central place in Islam that destroying it would shake Islam. If they could not make the pilgrimage there that would be devastating to them. Every time they face it to pray they would remember it is gone. Some infidel nation at some point must destroy it for the sake of the world. And really it will have to be like Chernobyl, unvisitable for centuries to come.
