Radical Islam’s Defiling of Christmas – by Joe Kaufman

Today, while Christians around the world are celebrating Christmas, radical Muslims will be gathering in Atlanta, Georgia for the beginning of their annual hatefest. The irony of this cannot be overstated, as the group sponsoring the event, ICNA, and its followers openly denounce Christians and propagate material cursing and calling for violence against Christians.

ICNA or the Islamic Circle of North America was created nearly 40 years ago as the American affiliate to the terror-related Jamaat-e-Islami (JI), the Muslim Brotherhood of Pakistan. But while JI has focused the majority of its faith-based ire on Hindus, the religious groups of choice for ICNA’s attacks have primarily been Jews and Christians.

One of the main functions of ICNA is the spread of Islam. The group does this via its dawah or religious outreach program, Why Islam (WI). Too many times, though, ICNA’s religious outreach is used as a venue for the worst of bigotry. Common targets include Jews, Americans, Israelis, homosexuals, fellow Muslims and Christians. The following quotes are presently found on WI’s web forum discussing the latter:

  • “First of all, muslims do not believe in the G-d of the corrupted Bible, but we do believe in Allah… Anyone who says ‘la ilahe ilallah’ (there is not god but Him)… is guaranteed with eternal life in heaven… Abt penalty, there is no penalty to be done for our sins. This is [sic] wat u christians made up!!”
  • “[T]he Americans don’t care about their Allies… Even though, speaking Islamically, they are our enemies and not allies… no Kaffir can be an Ally to a Muslim against a Muslim… Like Allah says in the Quran, Baqarah 2, ‘Never will the Jews nor the Christians be pleased with you… till you follow their religion’… [T]hey are not friends of anyone besides themselves… their friendship is an illusion.”
  • “[T]he Christ that Christians believe will come before the Rapture is actually the anti-Christ who the Zionist-Jews will think to be their promised-Messiah… Most Christians don’t know this. They live in their capsule of ignorance that is hardened by the western main-stream media… [T]heir greed and covetousness for consumption is likened only with Satan in the Bible.”

These statements are horrific on their own, but what makes the situation even worse is that the moderators for the group have used similar – even worse – rhetoric themselves, defending Hamas and discussing committing violence against American troops.

Why Islam is not the only entity comprising ICNA. The organization also encompasses a youth group, an educational facility, a multimedia division, a magazine, and a number of smaller local chapters. One of the chapters, the Southern California office (ICNA-SC), uses religious materials to propagate hatred and violence against non-Muslims.

Hadiths for Muslims are vital, as they are only second to the Quran in importance with regard to Islamic religious texts. ICNA’s versions of the Hadiths contain rabidly anti-Christian bigotry. A current example of this is from a Hadith book entitled Malik’s Muwatta, found within ICNA-SC’s online library. It states, “May Allah fight the jews and the christians. They took the graves of their Prophets as places of prostration. Two deens shall not co-exist in the land of the Arabs.”

On its website, ICNA-SC has many other hate manuals as well. One, entitled Priorities of the Islamic Movement in the Coming Phase, is written by the spiritual leader of the Muslim Brotherhood, Yusuf al-Qaradawi. In Priorities, al-Qaradawi lauds Hamas as being “steadfast” and “brave.” In the text, al-Qaradawi also talks about his belief that Christians should give up their rights and be ruled by Islam. He writes, “Christians and other religious groups will not come to any harm if they give up their right so that their Muslim compatriots may rule themselves by their religion and effect the laws of Allah in order to gain His Grace.”

Another of ICNA’s chapters, its Atlanta, Georgia office, this weekend beginning today, will be celebrating its annual function, featuring its normal list of extremist speakers. It’s a major event for ICNA, as the organization is advertising it atop its national website. The theme for this year is ‘Save Family – Save Society.’

In reality, society needs to save itself from ICNA.

The above quotes are only a small illustration of the bigotry that is spread by ICNA against Christians (and others). And so it is ironic, if not offensive, that ICNA would use Christmas to launch its hateful affair.

While ICNA desecrates Christianity this day, its leaders and members will thrive off of the goodwill of a generous American public that is ignorant of ICNA’s sinister goals and terror-related history. Hopefully the government will be giving us all the best Christmas present we could ask for – an investigation leading to ICNA’s closure.

Interesting notion. However, it is flawed, because Christian doctrine was established long before there was a western main-stream media.

The Director of AMANA, Sofian Abdelaziz-Zakkout, is the former Vice President of the Health Resource Center for Palestine, a now-defunct charity which was linked to the Hamas front group Islamic Association for Palestine, and which openly admitted to having raised funds for shuhada (i.e., suicide bombers).AMANA chose not to endorse or participate in the May 14, 2005 "Free Muslims March Against Terror," an event whose stated purpose was to "send a message to the terrorists and extremists that their days are numbered . . . [and to send] a message to the people of the Middle East, the Muslim world and all people who seek freedom, democracy and peaceful coexistence that we support them."AMANA views the United States as a nation rife with bigotry and injustice aimed at Muslims. Thus the organization's website features a complaint form where people can report instances of perceived discrimination they encounter in the housing market, the business world, or elsewhere. To disseminate its message and publicize its activities, AMANA publishes The AMANA Voice magazine, as well as numerous booklets and pamphlets.

I would advise Mr. KAUFMAN to come down his cloud of believing precisely THIS administration is the one that will bring down the ICNA, after the MESSIAH's speech in CAIRO, his genuflexing to the Saudi Arabian king and least but not last, his record and history….

Does anybody remember Muslims of Queens, New York, dancing in the streets and passing candy when learning of the WTC horror in 9/11 ??

Of corse not, as it was the night GWB had the gall to state on nationwide TV that
Islam is a religion of Peace…

Yes, that of the cemeteries ! ! !

I always have present YOSHIRO SAGAMORI's statement :

Now go ahead and prove her wrong

I surprised Obama didn't attend this event on Christmas day to let the radical Islamists know America cares and loves them. Oh I forgot. The Obamas are in Hawaii for 14 days staying in a rental house that costs 4,000 dollars per night. Not to mention the two side houses he rented also for friends and family.

People might take Islamophobic rants more seriously if people like yourselves were not simultaneously so rude about the antisemitic. Either this kind of religious intolerance is acceptable or both kinds are intolerable. Which one is it?

What I can't understand is if this is true why are there no hate speech charges pending? Seems to be a no brainer!

s this the right thing to do when Joe Kaufman keeps attacking Muslim organizations around the nation? I wish to see any one Muslim organization or mosque that has not been attacked by Joe Kaufman. Joe Kaufman has an agenda to promote hate and intolerance. It is important to be careful when promoting his past articles and events. His allegations have no base and have no credibility! American Muslim organizations such as CAIR (http://www.Cair.com) and AMANA (http://www.amanavoice.com) are composed of hard-working, decent and honest American Muslims and we all need to support them and respect them. Simply looking at the past of Joe Kaufman shows his contributions towards bringing continuous tension that may lead to increase in hate between communities especially between Arabs and Jews and between Arabs and their neighbors in South Florida.
Joe Kaufman with all means is not against hate (http://www.americansagainsthat.org) but actually he is promoting hate! His history is evidence of his own intentions and agenda:
-Joe Kaufman received the American United for Separation of Church and State’s Onion Award for “his consistent record of trashing everything Muslim with a broad brush.”
    - Kaufman the radical has also written after 9/11 enthusiastically asking for the nuking of Muslim nations: “If the decimation of Hiroshima and Nagasaki was the right thing to do, in response to Pearl Harbor, then why the heck are we saving our nuclear weapons now?
    - Joe Kaufman, is a supporter of the Extremist JDL Rabbi Meir Kahane. This group is listed as a terrorist group by the State department.
    - Joe Kaufman inflames the neighbors of Pompano Mosque against Muslims living for five decades in peace.
I call Mr. Kaufman to stop promoting hate and which definitely is not healthy between communities in any civilized society. Please stop the madness and convert your hate into a more meaningful and productive message of tolerance and peace! Our nation and the world is in need of leaders and promoters of tolerance and peace that will create a better future for our children, one that is not filled with uncertainty, hate, and intolerance. We must work towards leaving a message of harmony and utilizing all of our emotions and efforts in bringing communities together.

The American Muslim Association of North America
Co-Chair of JADA, Jewish Arab Dialogue Assoc.

… wow… that was quite a rant. I first glanced at the length of the text and knew that it had to be a muslim. hahaha… what a shocker to find out I was right.
I don't believe Mr.Kaufman is promoting hate in any way shape or form. I DO believe that he is tolerant and tolerant enought to use a form of media (this dialogue) to make a point.
Everything he states in his broad range of topics leads us to believe the opposite of what you so quite extensively try to deny as being right on the money.
Now this is where it might get tricky for you so pay close attention. The generous amount of words you use and repeated over and over with such a fervor; especially when complimented with bloodshed doesn't make it any truer.

  • josephwiess

And this isn't considered hate speech, but if a Christian speaks out against a gay person, or points out that Islam is a death cult, they get called racist, bigoted, and accused of hate speech. When was the last time you heard a Christian call for the death of a muslim, that wasn't guilty of murder, rape, or beating his women?

Thank you for your great and specifically detailed insights and revealing looks at the evil empire as it attempts to take over the world.

The attempted bombing of our airliner on CHRISTMAS DAY! was clearly an anti-religious, hateful, hate filled, biased attack! Where is the ACLU to complain about this?! Ha! Don't hold your breath!

The facts that Abdul Farouk Abdulmutallab was severely burned, and his failed attempt to murder, are actually helpful in that now, the police in London (after invading and collecting evidence from his 6 million dollar apartment), and the police in Nigeria and in Amsterdam and here in New York and Detroit, have begun to amass huge amounts of telephone, email and snail mail numbers and addresses which will help them in many ways.
    Guess what??

Is there any fool anywhere who thinks that this absolute piece of dirty trash just coincidentally happened to pick December 25th the holy Christian holiday, as the day of his filthy garbage bloodthirsty act??!!!

Also, it is my belief that he was hoping to blow up the plane just as it landed so that a spectacular scene would take place where there is a fully engulfed plane hurtling down the runway at all the passenger terminals.

How far would a Christian group in Saudi Arabia get if they had meetings calling for the overthrow of Islam? A few minutes? Would they be put in prison, interrogated and punished? Yes, very much so.
Islam you fool no one, take your hatred and your book written by that greedy gigolo/ pedophile mohammad and go back to the desert sands of your fathers.

I call Mr. Kaufman to stop promoting hate and which definitely is not healthy between communities in any civilized society. – sofianzakkout

What would a Muslim know about civilized society? If he wants to see truly unhealthy hate, perhaps Mr. Zakkout should review the passages in the Quran that instruct Muslims on how to treat infidels and get back to us. I wonder what Mr. Zakkout thinks about the treatment of “infidels” in the barren, desolate wastelands that they dominated my Muslims. Perhaps the civilized world (i.e. Dar al-Harb) should take a page from the Mohammad and begin treating Muslims the same way. That day may be closer than these primitive, tribal barbarians realize.

  • Steve21

How can you support “harmony” and “bringing communities together” when the Quran, which is supposedly the literal word of God, instructs Muslims to convert, enslave, or kill unbelievers? Is that not apostasy and a direct contradiction of your religion?

Who are his leaders and are his comrades ready to attack in similar or different action?

What other devices are being made and other devices that have been successful in passing through the screening process?

Are Muslim women being fitted with C-4 falsies or sewed into padded bras?

Are Muslim kids, especially little girls, now going to be used to carry explosives?

Can't waterboard him so we'll wait for the goodness in his heart to confess all?

Since September 11, 2001, the Free world is at war. The enemy is not only terrorism. Islamism is the enemy. It is new fascist ideology based on hate for freedom and sponsered by the Arab dictatorships.

Indeed, Islamism is not only seeking to influence one religion or control one region: Islamism is waging war against all the civilizations and not only against the “Jews and Crusaders”.

    According to this core analysis:

-Firstly, we have to neutralize the terrorist network implemented in the democracies, and to overthrow the dictatorships which are the sponsors of this plague.

-Secondly, we must underline that the ultimate solution to Islamism relies on the extend of democracy to the Arab world .

-Thirdly, we need a moral and psychological rearmament in order to fight the flow of disinformation's. We have to promote education in order to eradicate obscurantism and negative beliefs.

Clearly, it is sure that we shall win the war on terrorism. It is not sure that we shall succeed in implementing democracy. In this case, a containment policy should be appropriate.

  • Steve21

Your analysis completely ignores the most obvious underpinning of the war being waged against the civilized world by these barbarians: ISLAM. Not Islamism, ISLAM. You seem to embrace the pollyanna view of Islam (e.g. religion of peace, etc) that's popular in the West to avoid the uncomfortable truth that we're dealing with a homicidal death cult that will accept nothing but complete surrender. As laughable as it seems to Westerners that we would somehow bow down to these tribal goat herders will one day, they actually believe this psychotic fantasy and are willing to kill as many of us and themselves as it takes to make it come true. As far as democracy and freedom being the solution, that's another Western pipe dream. The Philistines had free elections and wound up with Hamas. If Egypt were ever to allow free elections, the Muslim Brotherhood would immediately control the largest Arab state (and also make sure that there were no more elections). What do you think would happen if, God forbid, they EVER had elections in Saudi Arabia? They understand nothing but force and should be shown it around the world, but particularly among the invaders that have infected the West. No more negotiations. No more PC. Tell them straight to their faces and in no uncertain terms that there will be no accommodations for their primitive, misogynistic cult and if they don't like it they can go back to third world sh!thole of their choice. The West should adopt a policy toward Muslims that mirrors that of Saudi Arabia to “infidels”. Surely they couldn't object to our following Mohammad's teachings, could they? It's time to get serious before this cancer spreads any further.

  • trickyblain

Kaufman, the poster is indeed correct in terms of his assessments as to your creditability. The flip side to haivng your work published is that it opens your claims up to scrutiny as well.

Take this article. It's unfocused. It's sloppy. And it has nothing to do with “Defiling Christmas.” One of the slimiest “research” methods a “writer” can use in the internet age is to copy and paste items from an organization's forum to use as ammunition against the organization. If I were to do this based on FrontpageMag's forum, I could state that Horowitz is racist, genocidal, misogynistic and treasonous. But I wouldn't do that because I am honest. Why aren't you?

Can you name a single Muslim organization that does good work? Or do they all neatly fit into your self-aggrandizing Jihad?

  • Walt

Actually, what he has cited is quite common on Islamist blogs. Also, Muslims certainly do not have the same view of Jesus that Christians do. Jesus is just another prophet and subordinate to Mohammed. As for your final challenge, why don't you name a Muslim organization that does good for anyone who is not a Muslim? On the Christian side, you have Catholic Charities that minister to non-Christians as well as Christians and of course the work done by the Salvation Army among non-Christians throughout the world. So, your turn.

  • Walt

Alright, it is time to furnish your proof and stop the tantrum. What do you have?

  • Walt

Can you stop the spam.? Your statement does not become more sensible when repeated.

  • trickyblain

And calls for revolution, genocide and even assassination are quite common
on right wing forums. As they were on left-wing forums in the previous
administration. Forums, through anonymity, let whackos of all stripes expose
rantings of all sorts. That does not mean the publishers share the views. It
is fraudulent to attribute forum postings to the organization hosting the
forum, unless they were written by the proprietor. Kaufman is guilty of this
type of “work” in most of his writings.

I'm not sure what your point is regarding Muslims and Jesus. While many
Muslims do see Jesus (as a hero) defeating the Dajjal, along with Mahdi, he
is not their prophet. Otherwise they would be Christians. Likewise, do
Christians accept Mo as a prophet? If so, they are not Christians, but
My question to Kaufman regarding Islamic organizations was to determine if
he found all said organizations as “bad” or if there are some that he
    approves of.

  • Muhsineen

While these comments have been made from Muslims who obviously received some form of initial comments or another. There is nothing stated here that confirms an annual hate fest or rally or propagating hate towards any religion. Most of all ICNA does not “target” any form of hate-campaign towards Christians or Jews, or any religion for that matter.

Whats obvious from the main column is hate fueled allegations followed by irrelevant comments posted by Muslims. Never have I once seen or heard anyone from ICNA secretly or openly calling out for violence against Christians, Jews, or American Troops.

Question: Where are the comments or remarks made by others, which led to the responses here?

INCA is NOT a terror related organization. It is one which promotes outreach urging the feeding or the needy. Sharing the commonalities of the story of Jesus (pbuh) and how it ties into the teaching of Islam. The Qur'an speaks in a very respectful manner regarding Christians and Jews recognizing them as “The People of the Book”. ICNA has openly hosted events were all faiths were welcomed. In ICNA's heartfelt good faith strong efforts to educate people about Islam as a religion. Muslims in America recognize the challenge of promoting true ethics of peace through Islam, while people are already holding tightly to strong stereotypes.

One of ICNA's greatest efforts is to educated people against false allegations made in column's like this. Using the net to spread hateful allegations in which are not clear or verifiable is the attempt here, nothing here supports any claims made. ICNA'S greatest efforts has been promoting peace and understanding among those who we share this world.

2:136 “We believe in Allah and that which has been sent down to us and that which has been sent down to Ibrahim (Abraham), Isma'il (Ishmael), Ishaque (Isaac), Ya'qub (Jacob), and to Al-Asbat [the twelve sons of Ya'qub (Jacob)], and that which has been given to Musa (Moses) and 'Iesa (Jesus), and that which has been given to the Prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and to Him we have submitted (in Islam).”

The statements made here, are of my own behalf and do not reflect any words or representation from ICNA as an organization. But I know factually the good spirited committed people they are.

  • Muhsineen

To answer your question, it happens to me all the time…I've had Christians tell me they wished I was hit by a stray bullet, along with many other things. I'm not a terrorist nor have I killed or raped anyone. I'm a Muslim…Does not mean I'm a terrorist. When a Christian commits a wrongdoing the person has a name which he's recognized. But if a Muslim does something people blame all of Islam. I use to be Christian, and this is just shameful…

  • josephwiess

If more muslims would stand up and speak out against the far outside death loonies, then people wouldn't call for the death of a single person. If you are a peaceful muslim, then I hope you stay safe and live long. I surely wouldn't call for you to catch a bullet.

But when muslim's like Osama and the iranian president call for the death of millions, and nobody speaks out against it, then I have a problem.

  • Steve21

The Qur'an speaks in a very respectful manner regarding Christians and Jews recognizing them as “The People of the Book”

Here's but a small sampling of the “respectful manner” in which the Qur'an speaks about Christians and Jews:

Qur'an 2:61 “Humiliation and wretchedness were stamped on the Jews and they were visited with Allah's wrath.”

Qur'an 2:64 “But you [Jews] went back on your word and were lost losers. So become apes, despised and hated. We made an example out of you.”

Qur'an (5:51) – “O you who believe! do not take the Jews and the Christians for friends; they are friends of each other; and whoever amongst you takes them for a friend, then surely he is one of them; surely Allah does not guide the unjust people.”

Qur'an 59:14 “The Jews are devoid of sense. There is a grievous punishment awaiting them. Satan tells them not to believe so they will end up in Hell.”

    For more such examples:

I think that this jihad(holy war)should stop. But if i is going to stop the I C N 'A ,and other groups need to stop fighting for the Christians and the Jews, and try to stop the Muslims from literally causing all these wars. The Muslims in some cases have a right to have a holy war, because the Muslims are trying to show the other religions such as Christians, that the Christians does not worship Allah(god) witch seems to be in some cases is the true god,Christians believe that they are worshiping the real god but they are not. Christians believe that Jesus is god , but that is not so, for Muslims.Muslims are trying to warn non-Muslims. I believe that Islam is the true religion. because i have asked god to give me a dream as a sign of if i should be Muslim. And so god did,and i had a dream that there was a lady with really sick children, and i reached out to the children, and instead of saying a Christian verse from the bible i said words from the Qr'an.That dream really shocked me.After that i was eager to convert to Islam , because i have found many thing's that many Christians have not known about. So like i was saying earlier i think that The I C N A should not stop the Muslims ,because in some cases the Muslims do have a right for their holy war.
