A Trip Down Maoist Memory Lane

Terrorist-enabling traitor Lynne Stewart, the Madame Defarge of America’s legal left

With Glenn Beck’s revelation a few days ago that an admirer of Mao Zedong named Anita Dunn works as communications director in the Obama White House, it’s time for a trip down Maoist memory lane.

Dunn has been chosen by President Obama to lead his “war” against Fox News. It’s good to know she draws inspiration from a bloodthirsty totalitarian dictator as she helps to lead the Obama administration’s assault on the First Amendment.

Dunn, who said that the most accomplished mass murderer of all time was “one of the two people that I turn to most,” is not the only Mao enthusiast to serve in the Obama administration.

Van Jones is also an admirer of Chairman Mao. Jones is the green jobs czar forced out not for his radicalism per se but because he was shown to be a 9/11 “truther” who believed the Bush administration orchestrated the 9/11 terrorist attacks. Incidentally, others who signed the same 2004 9/11 conspiracist petition include liberal talk show host Thom Hartmann (#46), Libertarian Party presidential candidate Michael Badnarik (#6), anti-American anti-war crusader Medea Benjamin (#9), and deranged former Rep. Cynthia McKinney (#62).

Jones also warmed the heart of his fellow America-haters by leading a demonstration the night after the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks condemning the United States for its supposed imperialism.

Who knows how many more Maoists work for President Obama.

Another Maoist of interest to NewsReal readers is Lynne Stewart, a convicted terrorist conspirator.

As an attorney Stewart represented Sheikh Omar Abdul Rahman, who was convicted of masterminding the 1993 World Trade Center bombing. Stewart was subsequently disbarred after she was convicted of providing material support to Rahman’s al Qaeda-connected Islamic Group, an Egypt-based terrorist organization. Specifically, Stewart passed information from her imprisoned client to the Islamic Group contrary to restrictions imposed on her by corrections officials.

For her participation in an Islamic terrorist plot, she was sentenced in 2006 to a meager 28 months in prison—a fraction of the 30-year term the government sought.

On her website, the communist traitor indicated she’s still fighting the judicial slap on the wrist.

Stewart turned 70 earlier this month.
