Jihad at Fort Hood – by Robert Spencer

Major Nidal Malik Hasan, a U.S. Army psychiatrist, murdered twelve people and wounded twenty-one inside Fort Hood in Texas yesterday, while, according to eyewitnesses, “shouting something in Arabic while he was shooting.” Investigators are scratching their heads and expressing puzzlement about why he did it. According to NPR, “the motive behind the shootings was not immediately clear, officials said.” The Washington Post agreed: “The motive remains unclear, although some sources reported the suspect is opposed to U.S. involvement in Afghanistan and Iraq and upset about an imminent deployment.” The Huffington Post spun faster, asserting that “there is no concrete reporting as to whether Nidal Malik Hasan was in fact a Muslim or an Arab.”

Yet there was, and what’s more, Major Hasan’s motive was perfectly clear — but it was one that the forces of political correctness and the Islamic advocacy groups in the United States have been working for years to obscure. So it is that now that another major jihad terror attack has taken place on American soil, authorities and the mainstream media are at a loss to explain why it happened – and the abundant evidence that it was a jihad attack is ignored.

Nidal Malik Hasan was born in Virginia but didn’t think of himself as an American: on a form he filled out at the Muslim Community Center in Silver Spring, Maryland, he gave his nationality not as “American” but as “Palestinian.” A mosque official found that curious, saying: “I don’t know why he listed Palestinian. He was not born in Palestine.”

Center. He is a graduate of Virginia Tech and has a doctorate in psychiatry from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. While there, NPR reports, Hasan was “put on probation early in his postgraduate work” and was “disciplined for proselytizing about his Muslim faith with patients and colleagues.”

He was a staff psychiatrist at Walter Reed Army Medical Center for six years before transferring to Fort Hood earlier this year. While at Walter Reed, he was a “very devout” member of and daily visitor to the Muslim Community Center in Silver Spring. Faizul Khan, a former imam at the Center, expressed puzzlement over Hasan’s murders: “To know something like this happened, I don’t know what got into his mind. There was nothing extremist in his questions. He never showed any frustration….He never showed any remorse or wish for vengeance on anybody.”

So he identified himself as Palestinian and was a devout Muslim – so what? These things, of course, have no significance if one assumes that Islam is a Religion of Peace and that when a devout Muslim reads the Koran’s many injunctions to wage war against unbelievers, he knows that they have no force or applicability for today’s world. Unfortunately, all too many Muslims around the world demonstrate in both their words and their deeds that they take such injunctions quite seriously. And Nidal Hasan gave some indications that he may have been among them.

On May 20, 2009, a man giving his name as “NidalHasan” posted this defense of suicide bombing (all spelling and grammar as it is in the original):

There was a grenade thrown amongs a group of American soldiers. One of the soldiers, feeling that it was to late for everyone to flee jumped on the grave with the intention of saving his comrades. Indeed he saved them. He inentionally took his life (suicide) for a noble cause i.e. saving the lives of his soldier. To say that this soldier committed suicide is inappropriate. Its more appropriate to say he is a brave hero that sacrificed his life for a more noble cause. Scholars have paralled this to suicide bombers whose intention, by sacrificing their lives, is to help save Muslims by killing enemy soldiers. If one suicide bomber can kill 100 enemy soldiers because they were caught off guard that would be considered a strategic victory. Their intention is not to die because of some despair. The same can be said for the Kamikazees in Japan. They died (via crashing their planes into ships) to kill the enemies for the homeland. You can call them crazy i you want but their act was not one of suicide that is despised by Islam. So the scholars main point is that “IT SEEMS AS THOUGH YOUR INTENTION IS THE MAIN ISSUE” and Allah (SWT) knows best.

Of course, it may not be the same Nidal Hasan. But there is more. One of his former colleagues, Col. Terry Lee, recalled Hasan saying statements to the effect of “Muslims have the right to rise up against the U.S. military”; “Muslims have a right to stand up against the aggressors”; and even speaking favorably about people who “strap bombs on themselves and go into Times Square.”

Maybe he just snapped, perhaps under the pressure of his imminent deployment to Iraq. But it’s noteworthy that if he did, he snapped in exactly the same way that several other Muslims in the U.S. military have snapped in the past. In April 2005, a Muslim serving in the U.S. Army, Hasan Akbar, was convicted of murder for killing two American soldiers and wounding fourteen in a grenade attack in Kuwait. AP reported: “Prosecutors say Akbar told investigators he launched the attack because he was concerned U.S. troops would kill fellow Muslims in Iraq. They said he coolly carried out the attack to achieve ‘maximum carnage’ on his comrades in the 101st Airborne Division.”

And Hasan’s murderous rampage resembles one that five Muslim men in New Jersey tried to carry out at Fort Dix in New Jersey in 2007, when they plotted to enter the U.S. Army base and murder as many soldiers as they could.

That was a jihad plot. One of the plotters, Serdar Tatar, told an FBI informant late in 2006: “I’m gonna do it….It doesn’t matter to me, whether I get locked up, arrested, or get taken away, it doesn’t matter. Or I die, doesn’t matter, I’m doing it in the name of Allah.” Another plotter, Mohamad Shnewer, was caught on tape saying, “They are the ones, we are going to put bullets in their heads, Allah willing.”

Nidal Hasan’s statements about Muslims rising up against the U.S. military aren’t too far from that, albeit less graphic. The effect of ignoring or downplaying the role that Islamic beliefs and assumptions may have played in his murders only ensures that – once again – nothing will be done to prevent the eventual advent of the next Nidal Hasan.

Did you hear what NPR had to say?Speaking from both sides of their mouths – they said that no-one knew why the perpetrator had done this – and then in the same sentence – went on to say that he was stressed from working with returning war vets (and therefore not responsible) – but then actually implied those vets may have PERPETRATED WAR CRIMES THEMSELVES while in Afghanistan & Iraq – and this is what must have sent this man over the edge. The blood hasn't even dried on the victims bodies – and NPR is BLAMING THE US MILITARY for these murders.NPR has gone too far. As far as I am concerned – NPR can go to hell.RobW

It has already started in the main stream press. Incredibly, hordes of hard-hitting journalists are trying to gain some insight on why Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan shot 12 persons to death and wounded 30+ more. In spite of abundant evidence to the contrary they are all developing the case that he must have been mentally ill. They are beating the PTSD horse to death. Even as I write Wolfe Blitzer this very moment proffered with sincerity: “The key question has to be 'why he did it'.” We are fighting an uphill battle when the people with all the Eyes will not see. Fight terrorism with all your might!
History reveals very clearly that the apathetic give way to the passionate and the complacent are subdued by the committed. This is the time for people to rise up and defend our freedoms. Defeating global terrorism is the single most important issue of our time. It is more important than global warming, than welfare reform, than stem cell research, even than reproductive rights. And that’s because none of those issues can be addressed if we’ve been subjugated to Islamic fundamentalist terrorism. Punish them where it hurts most as explained at : http://israelagainstterror.blogspot.com/2008/01

    Peaceful Moslems.
We are told again and again by “experts” and “talking heads” that Islam is the religion of peace, and that the vast majority of Muslims just want to live in peace. So, how can we explain that Moslem leaders are seen preaching, “Islam is a religion that wants to rule the world. It has done so before, and eventually will rule it again…. By Allah, the day will come when we will rule the entire world again! The day will come when we will rule America! The day will come when we will rule Britain! …You will take over the USA! You will defeat them all! You will get victory!” More about “peaceful Moslems” at:

It's in the Koran — strike off the heads of the disbelievers. It also says that garments of fire will be cut for Islam's opponents. The politically correct are as blind as the apologists for Mussolini and Hitler were in the 1920s and 1930s.

  • Steve

When I first turned on the TV and heard about the attack, my first reaction was "I'll bet you he's a Muslim", and sure enough I was right. As the news came in, in the succeeding hour or more, I wanted to shout at the mainstream media and their "experts": "Daaaaaaaaah! Wake up and connect the dots you knuckle heads." It seemed they did everything but mention the word "Muslim" or "Islam." Even the word "terrorism" was hardly mentioned. 7/11 and 11/5 are not the last because, it seems, the powers-that-be in American society (as well as others outside the USA) are clueless bordering on stupidity.

    that of a dedicated Muslim.
    Simple as that.

I believe, like Bill Clinton, for personal political cover President Obama is exerting all the force of his office to cover up this tragic attack on U.S. soldiers by a Islam extremist, otherwise why did the FBI immediately come out an say that this deadly attack had nothing to do with terrorism. First, it certainly was terrorism, maybe not directly ordered by radical Islamic militants but certainly influenced by it. And, one of their tactics is to encourage individual attacks against U.S. citizens and soldiers, which is what appears to be occurring in some of the preemptive arrests. That said, this attack has the same MO (method of operation).

  • kafir4life

When will we allow moslems to be moslems!???? It will be a travesty if he is prosecuted for practicing his religious beliefs. Where is the ACLU and the 9th circuit court to stand up for this man and his civil rights to practice his faith (which it seems he understood the ways of the prophet very well)? Or maybe he'll be reprimanded for performing religious rites on public property? Maybe they'll treat him as if he'd placed a cross on a public hill, but I wouldn't count on it.

    It's just islam, that's all.

  • smithwinston

It's all very disturbing. How long before a Moslem commands an airwing, or trident submarine?

    The spin is predictable.

Hasan's cousin said on Fox's Shepard Smith's program that Hasan was “always a Muslim” and Smith immediately said that it was being reported that he was a convert.

All patients who visited this obvious psycho need to be re-evalutated and de-programmed! I also hope they reveal what Hasan told them!

I wrote a post on FPM recently where I stated my admiration of the military and how they do their duty no matter who is in office or what poor leadership is running a war. Now, not only do they have to tolerate the afore mensioned but they have to live with this PC crap of allowing anyone into their ranks regardless of their background, profile, or open misgivings of America. This is total BS and is another example of liberal mental disorder. I couldnt beleive it when I was listening to the news and they said the FBI was going to do background checks on the three shooters. Oh now they are going to do background checks, now, not before they enlisted, but after, after they do their damage, because we wouldnt want to hurt their feelings. If I was in the military I would be watching my back, and to tell the truth, I would refuse to work with any one I felt was a threat. You could throw me in the brig if you want but at least I wouldnt die for “their” cause. Tell you what, why dont you generals grow a pair and stand up for you soldiers, come what may. This is what is called patriotism.

Watch your backs boys, God bless

This incident is a crying shame. Why did our US Army allow this man into this position anyway. Some protection we have in our Army. Somehow and someway, this sounded like it was planned. It is obvious what this man's motive was. Wake up America and see what is coming. Your guard has been let down. If these types of people are allowed to be in our service, who can we protect even our own land. Can you just imagine how many of our soldiers felt when they had to go to visit this psychiatrist even in the service. They were not given quality of mental health care with someone like this. I can only wonder about the torment they went thru.

  • esbeesue

While it was known that this guy was jihadist and allowed to roam free, even be part of the army that is supposed to protect us from guys like him, your govt is instead spending your tax dollars and efforts to arrest Amish in Wisc and force others to become part of a program that will severely restrict their constitutional/relig freedoms.
their only crime is because they own livestock. The program is called NAIS.

NAIS (The National Animal Identification System), is a so-called disease tracking food safety program the USDA is forcing on those who own even one chicken or any other farm animal. Many are being signed up without their knowledge or permission. Non-food animals such as horses, llamas, parakeets, etc are included in this program. Over 90% oppose this program yet the USDA continues to force this unwanted program on those who need it least.
Under NAIS you register your premises with the govt, (thereby losing property rights) , microchip all critters at big cost, report all their movements, births, deaths to a database within 24 hrs or face huge fines, then risk losing them to depopulation if disease is suspected in a 6 mile radius! Currently, only sex offenders/child molesters are tagged tracked and register their premises. Animal owners will be tracked closer than illegals, drug delaers, sex offenders or this guy that blew away 13 people and wounded others.
Protection from disease is why we are told NAIS is needed, but the real reason is for the benefit of big agriculture/factory farms so they can sell meat globally. But they do not have to tag/ track individual critters. They get ONE lot number for each animal group. And the tracking of any animals stops at slaughter, after which many food safety issues occur.
The listening sessions held during the summer by the USDA about NAIS show the people are overwhelmingly against NAIS. But the USDA said these sessions showed “substantial support” for NAIS… Huh?!?!?!? They apparently were listening with fingers in their ears!) See nonais dot org for more info on the program that will affect everyone who eats.

How did a virulent PALESTINIAN MUSLIM become a Major (even in the medical corps) in the U.S. Army?

Has our stupidity and (in) tolerance brought us this far…

I say NO MORE. Time to deport. And if you're a Black Muslim, you get a one-way ticket to Darfur to enjoy life – as a slave – under YOUR Arab Muslim brothers.

  • antifascist18

Of course “general” Jimmy Jones, EX-USMC, RINO, and bosom buddy of Hamas (if not of General McChrystal) would bring more and more of this kind of scum into our military.

We're spending millions to train Hamas – courtesy of Jonesy and his buddy Bonzo – to kill Israelis, and they're here killing OUR OWN TROOPS.

When are we going to learn? It had better be a CONSERVATIVE REPUBLICAN CONGRESS AND A MEAT-EATING CONSERVATIVE REPUBLICAN PRESIDENT who isn't PC or afraid to truly deal with Islam next. Or we're down the toilet, and Jonesy won't save us.

  • hanoch

To entitle this article “Jihad at Fort Hood” is irresponsible and may ultimately harm the just cause of rooting out Islamic terrorists in this country. We simply do not have the facts as to why this man committed this atrocious act. One cannot maintain credibility by jumping to conclusions.

  • jackkaltenhauser

I am deeply appauled that we are discussing the mental state of this cold blood killer who attacked our soldiers not on the battlefield but in a crowded processing center. This worthless hunk of camel dung, had given away is furniture and koran, carried weapons onto a military installation or withheld them from an arms room (both violations of Army policy) and then entered a crowded processing center at a time he knew it would be crowded so he could inflicted his most deadly action on this brave Americans.

I would like to see a requirement for all MUSLIMS in the US military and government jobs or offices to swear alliengence to the Constitution of the United States and swear off their alliengence to the KORAN and ISLAM (the religion of peace). If they refuse to do so then they should be immediately discharged and sent packing.

The American military never would have allowed a NAZI into the military during WWII, what is the difference here.

  • CowboyUp

Bravo sierra, the pooh-poohing of these incidents causes 10 times the harm already. The hussein administration doesn't even USE the word terrorist unless it's in conjunction with "right-wing." A soldier in the group he shot up called her father right after and said he stood up behind the counter, yelled allah akbar and opened fire. You play a fool if you wish, I'm not.

  • Fong

Yes, the vile snake in the grass at Ft. Hood was simply following the creed of his chosen cult. That treasonous rat could have simply resigned his commision if he was so opposed to serving in Iraq, but no he chose to commit a heinous act of treason against his fellow soldiers when they were defenseless.

There are religions throughout the world and then there is what appears to be not a religion but rather a massive cult, the followers of which believe that it is a just cause to decieve, repress and murder the unbelievers. Where ever this cult spreads and gains power over a nation, freedom of religion goes right down the toilet. History has proven that when followers this cult seize control of a nation tyranny comes right along with it.

  • Melinda

I'm with Hanoch on this one. The condemnation is premature. Analysis of the facts, however is not. I for one do not believe that the US goes far enough to shut down religious fanaticism and intolerance. Freedom of religion is just that, but when extremists believe that DOMINATION of religion at all cost is the end goal, that freedom should be lost. Because “we” refuse to do that, we cannot distinguish peace-loving muslims from jihadists, which is why Islamization of America is such an imminent danger to our stability. So the question becomes, are we persecuting a man because of his exercise of his freedom of religion….a fundamental right that we all enjoy. In this case, it seems from what little I have read thus far that freedom of religion should have been trumped by earlier investigation, but was not. Perhaps we could avoid placing ourselves in the position of wondering what the driving force was behind this man's actions if we sacrificed a little political correctness in the first place and asked the difficult questions preemptively rather than retrospectively.

  • Deejean

I heard our local news when speaking of the Jihad in Fort Hood say it Is not known why the jihadest
Went on a killing rampage, well that’s not what our news actually said they didn’t even mention the mans
Name, Because the news media in America has begun to be submitted ,to the dhimmitude of non muslims
In America because islam has people so afraid of offending it, That many will even persecute there own
People in order to avoid offending islam. The code of deadly silence surrounding and aiding islams global
Jihad, Is eerie like the deadly calm before destructive forces of the tornado hits,
The silence is, Silence regarding the countless victims of islam.
And yet the fact is there are literally millions of victims of islam! They are people of every race every nationality every religion or lack of every walk of life every ability or in ability they are people of all
Ages and back grounds. There men women children babies,

And they are the largest group of victims in the world. Yet have the least representation, Why ? Because islam is big money oil and lots of power and has so much of the world so busy catering to it bowing to it that they simply will not be bothered with showing mercy compassion EQUALITY for ISlAMS VICTIMS
We have no pacific religion no pacific race or sex , We are all people yet no pacific people so its like we do not matter at all to the islam supporting world. Only defending islam at all costs avoiding offending islam at all costs matters to the islam supporting world, We are learning though, That islam got its way thru terror and intimidation the world began to bow down to it even in the west the world began to bow down to
It because of its bloody sadistic Jihad,, Is that what it would take for the islam supporting world to give a
Bit of concern compassion mercy equality the right to be heard for islams many victims?
Do the millions of victims of islam who are still alive and the millions of families of islams victims, Do we
Have to get as sadistic as the terrorists to get the world to give a damn about us? And no I am not suggesting we do, merely saying that seems to be what gets the worlds concern violence raising hell ,begs and please for help and mercy compassion, Just don’t seem to be getting us anywhere, But as Islamic leaders like Osama say, Muslims love death as humanitarians love life!!

As a matter of fact I have studied the Global Jihad movement for so long now, I know it well, better then probably anyone I know including many muslims.
I discovered a while back there is what I call a “Defend islam at all costs brigade” and they do just that defend islam no matter what or who it costs, Because they have been so filled with islams lies they have been brainwashed to view islam as the perpetual innocent victims and its victims as the perpetual aggressor,
And if by chance they do actually see that muslims have done something wrong they quickly jump to blame it on Christians or athiests or non muslims, And declare it was not about islam had nothing to do with islam
After all islam does no wrong according to them! Everyone else is always the bad guy never islam!
    I told people
“There killing our soldiers” and I tried to warn people, Because from my extensive research, I found they do plot against not only our soldiers but anyone who dare defend the victims of islam and I know
They are also behind many of our soldiers suicides, Because I discovered some of the militants in the defend islam at all costs brigade ,were even in the medical dept of our military and our VA centers, and they would go on the internet and persecute the helll out of anyone who defended the victims of islam, that attacked like a pack of hyenas or something, And are brutal ruthless hateful as hell even urge those with depression to kill themselves and give instructions on how! Planting the method in the already troubled already depressed persons head, then they continue on with the relentless persecution! And I thought if that’s what these people are like on the internet good God what are they like with the military patients and I discovered there are muslims in our military and our VA centers with extreme militant Islamic view points
, Based on my very well researched knowledge of the Global Jihad movement and what I discovered I knew it was only a matter of time before they just openly started killing our soldiers!

From what I understand, and I may be wrong, I don't think this guy had a “tour” yet, but had orders, (as we used to say “for the big puddle”). So, how could he be suffering from anything.

Indeed, the soldiers put their lives on the line for a people who are not worthy of their sacrifice. The “people” are not fit to shine these soldiers' boot (don't think they “shine” boots anymore), much less clean their rifles.

You have doubtless heard or read about the murders at Fort Hood.
This morning I read two accounts in the Wall Street Journal. The print version is short and blandly uninformative. The version Online is much longer, with several important details about the murder's life, times, problems, etc. But still bland, refusing to address the subject of Muslims killing people, mostly non-Muslims, except in the case of Honor Killings and other complicated situations.
I include below the entire story as it appeared online.

Military suicides and murders are up, dramatically, as soldiers are called back for multiple, multiple tours of duty. Too, there is now since B Hussein Obama started his endless campaign for the presidency–the drumbeat of opposition. But now that he has to act–he (Obama)merely acts out. The effect on troop morale has to be enormous. More and more they look over their shoulders to see if ANYBODY in the US really supports what they are doing. Obama is intenrally conflicted by -Only God knows the total number– opposing motives for what he does and does not do. I will not rehearse here the growing litany of his outrageous statements, but ones such as proclaiming his discomfort at the idea of the Japanese surrender at the end of WWII is utterly insane. He has mentioned that victory is not his motive–only finding a solution. His well-rehearsed hand salute for the recent Dover Photo-Op shows evidence of long practice before a mirror, old stuff for BHO–no doubt.

A survey of his cabinet choices and the exponentially expanding list of Czars who rule without accountability or qualificatiions reveals culpability in the selections, and treasonous actions and words by the individuals involved. Fortunately, the recent elections are moving the right way–but we must keep unremitting presuure on the process or the hoped-for amelioration through the 2010 election process will not happen. Obama vows to reach out to “young people,” meaning the ACORN, SEIU, and all associate groups will be liberally endowed by SOROS $$$$$$. The dead shall rise from their graves, and illegals shall have bestowed upon them whatever it takes to get into an election polling place–count on it.

Back to Fort Hood. Islam advocates a way of life based on belligerence, xenpohobia, suspicion, and absolute control of its followers. It is no wonder that Muslims explode: Islam demands hostility toward non-Muslims. It's in the book (Koran, Yusufali translation–and all other translations, too, but the Saudis are especially fond of Yusufali and do hand it out at their numerous mosques here in the US.) All of this leads to a quite inevitable conclusion–having Muslims in the US Armed Forces, or even in the government, is asking for extra problems. In the vernacular “Not too swift.”
Shortly after 11 Sep 2001 the FBI reported that a MUSLIM agent who refused to participate on phone taps on Muslims' line was simply re-assigned. How astute is that!!!

Please read the article below. Notice the great lack of conclusion or surmise re: Islam. The print edition is even more sanitized.
I am trying to get a conversdation with an editor of WSJ to chat about policy.

Again it's like our Poodle Freddy–who refused to LOOK at bears when we drove throughYellowstone about 35 years ago.
He was thinking : OBOY–if I ever do see a bear I will really mean and defiant too Him/Her.But fortunately there aren't any bears around here. No Problem.

Robert Spencer, this paragraph you wrote is a great steaming pile of camel shit except for (U.S. troops would kill fellow Muslims) !
    You Wrote:

“Maybe he just snapped, perhaps under the pressure of his imminent deployment to Iraq. There are no peaceful Moslems, just the active and the passive Jihadists. The active ones do the killing and terrorist acts and the passive ones support the active ones either directly or by condoning the attitude that it it is okay to kill infidels becuase they are Moslems first last and always.

Kill 'em all, put 'em all in piles and burn 'em and let Allah sort 'em out.

I recall when those Negroes were running around Maryland and Washington shooting people. There was something in one of the messages they left, that I thought was strange. It was not what they said, but the way they said it. I thought, who talks/writes like that? After a while I realized that the person who wrote the message was likely from the West Indies. They were still at large, at this time. An expert, who was a retired NYPD police officer (don't know how that qualifies him as an expert) insisted, and continued to insist that is was most likely an “angry white man”. He made this statement with absolutely no evidence to support the claim. I can't recall anyone calling him on it.

    No intolerance should be tolerated!

iZlam demands SUPERIORITY, submission of everyone else!

It is a CULT of LUST to POWER, a cult of FORCE.

He had never even served in Iraq or Afghanistan! Unfortuntely, the Army was being politically correct and not throwing him out like they should have done long before this act of terrorism happened.

It doesn't matter if terrorism is conducted by one or 20 or killing 10 or 10,000, it is terrorism!!!

Soldiers should not be required to serve with someone so radical no matter what their race/ethnicity is!

Political correctness about the “religion of peace” is harmful to Americans and other living things!

What people don't understand is what Islam instructs its followers in order to be considered orthodox or devout. What does Islam teach? What does it expect of its adherents? What are the values Islam imparts on its beliviers? What is good and what is bad in Islam?

Once you do the research, read the Koran and the hadiths, the terrible truth hits you; the more devout a muslim is, the more of a danger to society he becomes, unless that society is a sharia based emirate. A devout muslim is a theocratic warrior designed to convert or kill all that are not of his faith. Think the borg or the replicators; the individual in islam lives to serve the community and the tenants of Islam, he/she has no importance outside of the community, he/she has no worth except the service he/she provides to Islam as a whole. This is why westerners have such a hard time getting their minds around Islam and muslim actions; it is absolutely anti-thetical to our civilizaition, our norms, our habits, even or feelings and reasoning. Which is not surprising if you look at history since Islam was designed to be an anti-jewish, anti-Christian, anti-hellenistic belief system. Why would it be in any way compatible with our culture society or government? We (westerners) want to fit Islam into the same box we put fringe religion of our own culture. We try and put Islam in an amish box, or a hassadim box, or a separatist mormon box. But islam does not fit any of the religious examples that come from Judeo Chrisitan culture; which again is only natural because Islam is inherently anti Judeo Chirstian.
The only way I have ever been able to get people to begin to understand what Islam is, was be using the analogy of Vikings with a book. Vikings with a holy book and monotheism. So people think oh it is just like Christianity and Judaism in that it is monotheistic and has a holy book too… but they forget that Viking aspect, Islam takes all the pagan warriror values of the Viking era and codifies it into their holy book and morality; while Christianity and Judaism are religions that try to move people beyond paganism and warrior values.

What is the solution, I am not sure, but certainly the first step is to tell the truth about Islam and really to create a world where the truth can be told about Islam without facing Danish Cartoon riots, Komaini fatawas, and other death threats. If we can agree on never fearing to tell the truth the rest will follow. Islam is incredibly fragile in that sense; it can not withstand the process that Judaism and Christianity endured in the Enlightenment and modernity; Islam can not withstand rational analysis and criticism. It will dissolve. But not before whipping itself into a violent hysteria to silence all the truthsayers; which is what we see today, a mass islamic movement to silence people who would tell the truth about Islam.

Silence = Death. Tell the truth about Islam.

Please, we must remember that this hater-killer yelled the usual “ala akbar” when he murdered those people at Fort Hood!
Let no one try to just chalk it up to, “He was insane.” Sorry, there are far too many people who suffer from mental anguish and mental disease who will NEVER murder anyone, let alone murder 13 people and yell “ala akbar.” Note that I purposely did not spell the name of their false god and I gave it no capital letter. I better be careful, tomorrow there might be riots around the world to show off how much love their rapist murderer pedophile “profit” (as in, “profit from the pain you inflict on others), because they won't like the non capitalization.
What crass, low IQ, fakers and liars. They even have two special words, “al-taqiyah,” and “kitman,” giving license for lying with permission from their koran.

I didn't mean to imply that Hasan had a “tour,” which is clear he never went but was about to go but what Starr was talking about was returning soldiers in general were on edge so she was blaming the war in general for any suicides, etc…

  • vsizemore

I'm sure he did! And how much more damage did he do to our soldiers? Have there been or will there be suicides as a result of his psychiatric treatment?

These soldiers need our help, not some crackpot harming them further! My husband is in the Army and receives medical treatment at Walter Reed and this makes me irrate!!!!!

What are Rev. Wright, Ward Churchhill, Michael Moore, CAIR, saying about this?
