Obama: Blaming Israel First

“This kind of activity is never helpful when it comes to peace negotiations,” President Obama said Tuesday at a press conference in Indonesia. He was referring to approvals issued in Israel this week to build 1300 homes in two East Jerusalem neighborhoods.

That is, 1300 homes for Jews. Obama would have had no problem if the announced homes had been designated for Arabs—or anyone other than Jews.

As the Wall Street Journal noted in an editorial, the country—Indonesia—in which Obama made his remark is one that forbids Israeli citizens to visit. Indonesia is also one of 19 UN member states that do not recognize Israel as a state, and it does not allow overflights by Israeli aircrafts.

One could say, then, that in counterposing Jewish homes in Jerusalem to peace, Obama was not encouraging the best side of the Indonesian national ethos.

He wasn’t the only one to object to the Israeli plans, of course. In a de rigueur eruption that is almost dreary to record, the State Department said it was “deeply disappointed” and that the plans were “counterproductive to our efforts to resume direct negotiations between the [Israelis and Palestinians].” EU foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton pronounced herself “extremely concerned,” and UN secretary-general Ban Ki-moon also “expressed concern.”

The pertinacious Palestinian spokesman Saeb Erekat chimed in that the new construction plans proved that “Israel chooses settlements, not peace.”

As the Wall Street Journal also observed, it was Erekat who recently sent an admiring letter to Ahmed Sa’adat, a terrorist who masterminded the murder of an Israeli cabinet minister in 2001. Erekat warmed Sa’adat’s Israeli jail cell with “the strongest emotions of solidarity and brotherhood…. You exhibited steadfast resistance that has become the stuff of legend, during which many martyrs fell.”

The cabinet minister in question, Rehavam Zeevi, was shot twice in the head at the Hyatt Hotel in Jerusalem on October 17, 2001. The assassin was from the PFLP terror organization, then headed by Sa’adat, and was directly dispatched by him.

Think about it: no slap on the wrist—no reaction at all—for Erekat from Obama, Ashton, Ban, or anyone else for his tribute to Sa’adat, no protestations that this wasn’t in the spirit of peace; and yet another public upbraiding of Israel, a country already subject to a worldwide delegitimization campaign, for the building plans.

If there was a bright spot in this episode, it was that Israeli prime minister Binyamin Netanyahu, in replying to Obama’s words, showed—at least initially—more spunk in a way that is hard not to connect with last week’s Democratic debacle at the polls. Netanyahu’s office released a statement saying that:

Jerusalem is not a settlement; Jerusalem is the capital of the State of Israel. Israel has never accepted upon itself restrictions of any kind on construction in Jerusalem, which has approximately 800,000 residents….

Israel sees no connection between the diplomatic process and planning and building policy in Jerusalem, which has not changed in 40 years.  All Israeli governments in the past 40 years have built in all parts of the city. During this period, peace agreements were signed with Egypt and Jordan, and for 17 years, diplomatic negotiations have been conducted with the Palestinians. These are historical facts. Construction in Jerusalem has never hindered the peace process.

Yet, unfortunately, in a later interview with Fox Business News, Netanyahu already softened the message, calling the issue “overblown” and saying: “you are talking about a handful of apartments that really don’t affect the map at all contrary to impressions that might be perceived from certain news reports. So it’s a minor issue that might be turned to a major issue.”

In fact, the right of Jews to live in Jerusalem is a major issue in any case. In repeatedly calling it into question, Obama strikes at the heart of Jewish being and sows fear and distrust in the large majority of Israelis—exactly contradictory to his presumed desire to advance peace talks and Israeli concessions. In that regard, paradoxically, he is doing some good, as more Israelis understand that the concessions required of them would be suicidal.

As for the other side, Obama’s words can only encourage Muslims, whether in Indonesia or Judea and Samaria, in visions of Judenfrei Jerusalem and the worst supremacist tendencies.

he goes over there to avoid the fallout from the election and bathes himself in the sycophantic sea of fellow Muslims. as he so plainly stated in one of his two autobiographies that he just had the arrogance to write before age 50, 'Should the winds of political change blow in an ugly direction, i will always side with the Muslims." well they blew on Nov. 2 and is it any wonder he sought comfort from the largest Muslim country in the world. the man couldn't be any more transparent if he wore Muslim attire. wake up America.

    • trickyblain

Obama didn't write that, or say that (I will always side with the Muslims). It is a lie circulated via email that has found it's way into the psuedoreality of moronic blog posts.

What he did say, contextually, in his autobiography is that he would defend the rights of any American citizen should the discrimination of the 1940's reoccur (e.g., internment based on a group of people).

I think it's well known now, or should be that Obama is a Muslim, and shares the deep hatred that Mohamet felt for Jews, Christians and everyone and everything non-Muslim – his track record where Israel is concerned, his silence on the our lady of the assumption church massacre and continued ethnic cleansing of Christians in Iraq and other Islamic, always Islamic lands.

Barren-ess Ashton was chosen (not by we, the people) because she is totally clueless – they are all 'concerned' that we are not buying the rhetoric about Israel – that is why the EU has set up its own university in the Islamic Balkans and has a course to brainwash Journalists to infiltrate the world's systems to share its propaganda against Israel and the Christian world. Islamic truth (written and historical) and the actions from it today are rarely reported, and as you say, never even earn a slap on the wrist.

This is what Israel needs to do ALL the time – tell the truth – it needs to always refer to the legally binding, original partitioning of the Ottoman land into Israel (for the original Palestinians: JEWS! Yes, that's what Jews are termed in the original documents) and Jordan for the Arabs: yes Arabs, not 'Palestinians"! You won't learn THAT at school/Uni – plus the fact, places with the common denominator in that they are ALL Islamic lands or where Muslims become a majority e.g Malmo in Sweden, where Jews are forced to move out; and in the case of Islamic states, ethnically cleansed……..along with Christians, Hindus, Buddhists, Janists, Pagans…..and other Muslims who are not 'devout' (ie don't kill or wear a Burka or teach hate).

To the KORAN it is OK for the faithful to deny being Muslims whenever convenient to

I remember Arabs in my native country that when asked about their religion they will always answer : CHRISTIANS…!!!
But right after the first mosque was built there, they were going around with their big beads rosaries in their left hands and I dare bet my bottom dollar OBAMA limps of the same foot..

After all, actions speak louder than words and he hasn't pulled any punches trying to
hide it, as his CAIRO conference speach and his INDONESIA trip attest to it….

Rachell Corrie was not a beautiful person in any sense of the word. As Rifleman kindly pointed out, we have all seen the all-too-familiar photo of an enraged Corrie burning a picture of an American flag among impressionable Palestinian youth. It seems bizarre that someone who supposedly stands for human rights would be promoting and instigating violence against America and Israel among young Palestinians.

Don't forget, "Corrie was a member of the International Solidarity Movement, a
blatantly anti-Semitic terrorist organization which works to protect terrorist groups such as Hamas and Islamic Jihad. In March, 2003, the ISM attempted to shield a wanted terrorist and leading member of Islamic Jihad, Shadi Sukia, from the IDF by hiding him in its Jenin office."

Corrie was complicit in carrying out terrorist attacks against innocent Israeli civilians and children. Corrie worked in Rafah to protect tunnel networks used by terrorists to smuggle arms in from Egypt to kill innocent civilians and children.

And also, as you may have noticed, she's wearing a hijab. She was the typification of the self-spurning Westerner who decided to graze on the fields of strangers, to assume a rebirth by "going native." She was Paul Atreides deciding to become a Fremen. Obama is not a closet Muslim, Obama is more of a universalist with some new age beliefs thrown in. Consequently, he may be sympathetic to Muslims but always identifies himself as a "Christian". His Christianity however, is NOT BIBLICAL, and those with whom he has associated are know for their Liberation Theology – an attempt to marry Christianity with Socialist/Communist prinicples. http://www.thebereancall.org

Bev, The President's actions, both pre-election (2008) and post election, don't match your claim that he's "more of a universalists with some new age beliefs thrown in." His previous religious mentor preached hatred, more than anything else, and that certainly doesn't match any Christian concept.

      • Beverley

Right – his previous religious mentor preached 'Liberation Theology' which is always mixed with hatred. As I said his Christianity is not biblical. Let's just say he has a hodgepodge of beliefs. I have listened to a interview he gave where he was asked if he believed in Jesus … what a vague rambling answer he gave, shows he is not a Biblical Christian. This is the thing … many people call themselves 'christians' but they do not have a clue. Many people believe them that is the really scarey part. I could go on … but I do not want to end up preaching and driving you nuts. There is a very simple way to know if someone is a real Christian
a very simple question and answer. If they start to hedge become vague, theorize argumentative, or offer any other theology … then they are something else.

We can and rightly do blame this America-hating cultural Muslim in the White House. But what excuse do Jews have, who after two years of this, still vote by a two thirds margin for worthless Democrats? Why is it that they vote overwhelmingly for useless creatures like Schumer, Nadler and Wiener? Where is the famously loud-mouthed Chuck? Why is he not in front of a microphone every day denouncing this so-called president? Why does Chucky not threaten to withhold his support for the Obama agenda as payback for these policies? Because Chuck knows that he does not have to. He knows that New York voters, and above all Jewish voters who hold the electoral balance of power, will vote for him no matter what.

It is not just Jerusalem where Jews have a right to build, but throughout Israel; in Judea, Samaria, the Golan, Gaza, etc. All of Israel needs to be settled and built up by the Jewish people. It is our land! This needs saying. Netanyahu's ten month building freeze throughout Judea and Samaria (and for all practical purposes in Jerusalem) sent exactly the wrong message to a hostile international community. Obama assumes Netanyahu is weak because he acknowledged by means of this freeze, Judea and Samaria does not belong to Israel. What else did Netanyahu signal to this Israel-hater by means of his immoral building freeze? Here we see courageous Americans pushing back and fighting this dangerous man in the White House all the while Mr. Netanyahu has been bowing to him. It's really been a sad sight to behold.

    Obama is a Muslim!
In a Jewish or Catholic community you want to let them know you are in actuality of their faith to get their vote. You have to make the people read between the lines, In the Catholic and Jewish religions the child takes on the religion of the mother. So you say: I was raised a Christian but my mother was Jewish. Or this; I was raised a Jew but my mother was Catholic. Every Jew and Catholic knows you are telling him you are just passing for political purposes.
Reality check: In the Muslim world the child takes the religion of the father, this is a strict Muslim law Obama said in his Cairo speech: “As the Holy Koran tells us, "Be conscious of God and speak always the truth." “That is what I will try to do – to speak the truth as best I can,” To speak in CODE is this is what he means by TRY to do? He wants the audience to read between the lines! Soon after he said this: “I am a Christian, but my father came from a Kenyan family that includes generations of Muslims”. The Wall Street Journal also posted the full text of Obama's speech in Jakarta (to university students). BBC broadcast his speech live (CNN did not broadcast the speech — in fact, it's been largely ignored). I believe EVERY American should at least read the speech — to know, to realize just what this President so deeply admires. And, "no," it's not the United States of America. The country this "President" so deeply and fondly admires (loves) is Indonesia. Indonesia is his true homeland. He stated in his speech: "Indonesia is part of me." He lavished praise on Indonesia's Constitution, claiming it was "inspiring" and that he was so "happy" to be back "on Hero's Day" in honor of all those who "sacrificed on behalf of this great country." I do not recall Obama EVER saying such things about America! Rather, it's always America — the "nation born in sin."

"I do not recall Obama EVER saying such things about America! Rather, it's always America — the "nation born in sin." "

Well, J.S., there's these things called FACTS–verifiable, matters of record–and then there's what you've said: an emotion-based, counterfactual 'impression' of reality. If you chose to, you could hear Obama say many wonderful things about this country. But even if you chose to, you would never have a quote of him saying the U.S. was–your quotes–"A nation born in sin."

So what you are doing is pretty much lying (about the quote/Obama's attitude) and trumpeting your ignorance (never having heard Obama say somethings he's said many, many times). So I guess that makes you an ignorant liar. Which you're proud of, no doubt.

Hence, the reference (a repeated trope) of "a nation born in sin" — Obama has repeated this sentiment on a number of occasions. And, for your information, I made no claim of its being a direct quote. And I would suggest that you look into a mirror prior to alleging that others are either ignorant or liars — that seems to fit yourself.

Well, Obama made it clear in his speech in Indonesia – Indonesia is a model for the rest of Islam. Does he know or not know that 1. The Jewish population of Indonesia is now down to perhaps 20; and 2. For identity, the government issues ID cards called KTP (Kartu Tanda Penduduk). Every citizen over the age of 17 must carry a KTP. Listed on the identity card is the holder's religion. Indonesia only recognizes six religions: Islam, Protestantism, Roman Catholicism, Buddhism, Hinduism and Confucianism. Judaism and other religions are not recognized by the Indonesian government
I have seen the future for Jews in an Obamaesque world of Islamic hegemony and for a Jew like me, my children and grandchildren, it is not promising. But the context is quite clear that Obama considers that in the future the only immigrants whose rights MIGHT be trampled are Muslims, and that he will stand with them. Which is a problem.
Ex Order 1066 identified Nisei as a threat. Their Constitutional rights were stripped from them. I think it safe to say that we all recognize this as a horrible miscarriage of justice.

But to pose the nature of the problem anew. What should we do, if open war comes on this continent, with Muslim states? Is it really acceptable for the President to stand between Congress, passing laws prejudicial against immigrants from hostile lands, and the targets of those laws? Especially considering that his job is to execute the laws that Congress passes.

He is not the President of Muslim immigrants but of us all. And he most certainly was not expressing solidarity with Mexicans, or Englishmen, or Chinamen. He was singling out those very people with whom we are currently fighting, by their choice.

    • Jim C.

Why is it, when someone is called out for trying to misrepresent the president, they respond with "Well, no, that hasn't actually happened" or "He didn't say exactly that, but" and then proceed with their emotional impressions…AS IF THERE ARE NO SUCH THINGS AS VERIFIABLE FACTS.

Someone should compile a list of all the dumb predictions made here around the time of Obama's elections. I guarantee you NONE have come true. Normal, thinking people might be chastened by their wild, emotional, irrational hyperbole. Not you guys. You'll just make up new b.s.

      • intrcptr

Emotional responses involve, as I tend to think of them, getting "emotional", yes? An example of which would be shouting when it is uncalled for.

Now, since you can make the guarantee that absolutely nothing that was predicted by somebody when Obama was elected hasn't come true, might I suggest that you compile the list. I suggest this mostly because someone already has compiled such a list, http://www.newsrealblog.com/2010/10/03/confused-o
and the failed predictions are in fact Obama's, not some pundit's.
        Or maybe not; http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?stor

Since I'm not the one who was being called out, I will ignore your pitiable attempt to…, honestly, I'm not sure what you trying to do. But your "verifiable facts" have been twisted, by yourself.
And again, an emotional response can re recognized by a refusal to actually engage in discussion, so let me try this again; I asked a legitimate question, what say you to it?

Or would you prefer to yell at me some more for some imagined insult.
But please, don't respond until you can approach me as an individual; you don't know me from Adam, so don't presume to think yourself so much better.

"He is not the President of Muslim immigrants but of us all…"

I know what you are saying. Indeed he is the president of the United States, yet he is not my president. Regarding Japanese interment during the second world war, your point is a good one. To my knowledge, there is no evidence Japanese-Americans were anything other than loyal citizens. Not so Muslim-Americans; sadly. At least not all Muslim-Americans are loyal citizens by the very nature or their faith. That Obama will stand with enemies within is very troubling.

There is no such thing as world opinion. What people call "world opinion" is nothing but the opinion of the self-appointed Marxist pundits sitting atop the world's information outlets and education centers. See Dennis Prager in One World, One Opinion.

"World opinion" has failed to utter a squeak about the genocide in Rwanda (1994) and the ongoing one in Darfur. That should tell us all about world opinion's true worth.

The only concessions the Arab imperialists are willing to accept of the indigenous Palestinians (=the Jews) are the concessions of the totality.

Indonesia is the model for the rest of Islam??????? What about the persecution of Christians that are still taking place in that country??????? The problem with Islam is that it is intolerant, at least at this time in history.

As for what Obama wants, Israel under Netanyahu must refuse. Until the Palestinian government recognize Israel's right to exist, there will be no agreement. There will be not right of return either. As long as Hamas is in Gaza, there will be no peace, and why should Israel be forced into dealing with a terrorist organization that is an arm of Iran. Obama's pressure on Israel is unfair considering he demands nothing of the Palestinians. As for Jerusalem, it is Israel's capital, period. The Muslims can run the Dome of the Rock.

There is also the problem of Iran, which Obama seems content to allow to get the bomb. Israel has the right of self defense and considering how insane the mullahs are, Israel may have to act alone to wipe out the Iranian threat. Obama may not like it, but Netanyahu is responsible for the citizens of Israel, not Obama..

" But that's about par for the course because the "Palestinians" " desire death like you ( the Jews) desire life "
Palestinians desire a life (and a homeland) for their children as much as the Jews do.The Jewish state and Jewish mothers place their children in danger each and every day by their denial of Palestinian rights. They also place the lives of Palestinian children in danger as well. The Palestinians cannot separate the human and birth rights of their children from the very lives of their children.

"Palestinians desire a life (and a homeland) for their children as much as the Jews do."

Liar, Fathi Hamad, member of Hamas's Legislative Council, has publicly proclaimed to Israel; "We desire Death as you desire Life." In the same speech he also implored women and children to become human shields for the "brave" Hamas fighters.

"The Jewish state and Jewish mothers place their children in danger each and every day by their denial of Palestinian rights."

No, Israel does not place itself in danger for existing. You are making excuses again for genocide against the Jews.

"They also place the lives of Palestinian children in danger as well."

Wrong again, the IDF has policies which require its soldiers to value the lives of Palestinian civilians over their own.

"The Palestinians cannot separate the human and birth rights of their children from the very lives of their children."

Palestinians have no birth right to Israel, they have a birth right to Jordan, Syria and Egypt, the land from which they originally came from. Remember, Israel was essentially vacant until the Jews rebuilt it.

"Jewish denial does not mitigate their crimes against Humanity and the Palestinians, including occupation and ethnic cleansing."

Crimes against humanity AND Palestinians? What other crimes against humanity have the Jews supposedly committed? Or are you just hoping to through out blanket statements to justify your lust for Jewish blood?

The “deeply disappointed” US State Department is the same incompetent and inept federal department that has been trying and failing for the past 62 years to affect peace in the Middle East between Israel and the so-called Palestinians, which in reality are the proxies of Dar al Islam in their lesser jihad to impose Sharia upon the Jewish infidels living in Israel, which is, by the way, a lesser jihad of the greater global jihad at large, sort of like the lesser jihad the Mohammedans from Pakistan are also waging against the Hindu infidels in India, whereby Dar al Islam is waging jihad against the entire unbeliever world for the purpose of subjugating it via the imposition of Sharia, which just happens to be the raison d’etre and main goal of Islam. In other words, even though the previous sentence was incredibly long, the State Department doesn’t have the first clue and in fact is incredibly counterproductive to the interest of the USA. Of course, this is also the same State Department that convinced GWB to occupy two Mohammedan countries for the purpose of pursuing two fantasy based nation-building missions that were both destined to fail even before they were implemented, and the same State Department that enshrined Sharia in the constitutions of both Afghanistan and Iraq and thus in the process created two Sharia states that will inevitably reenter the global jihad as soon as the USA finally leaves the scene.

  • ObamaYoMoma

Like a mentally incompetent Jew hating anti-Semitic bigot, why are you only obsessed with vilifying and demonizing Jews for the purpose of inciting hatred and violence against them? The fact of the matter is Israel is by far the only infidels in the world facing perpetual and permanent jihad being waged against them. Indeed, Muhammadans from all around the world have been flocking to Pakistan for decades to wage jihad against the Hindu infidels in Kashmir and Jammu. Muhammadans in southern Thailand have been waging jihad against southern Buddhist Thais for years. In the south of the Philippines the Muhammadans have been waging jihad against Christian infidels for decades. In the Caucuses the Muhammadans have been waging jihad against Eastern Orthodox Christian infidels also for decades. In Nigeria the northern Muhammadans have been waging jihad against the southern Christian infidels for years. In Bosnia and Kosovo, the Muhammadans have been waging jihad against the Christian Serb infidels ever since the totalitarian state of Yugoslavia broke up in the early 90s. In Sudan, the Muhammadan janjaweed are responsible for a genocide of approximately 2 million Black Christians and animists in the southern part of the country between 1983 and 2003, and since that time another 400,000 Darfurians have become the victims of the janjaweed, which because they were Black and syncretic Muhammadans, they were declared takfir (unIslamic).

In addition, throughout Europe, North and South America, Australia, and New Zealand, wherever Muhammadans have migrated in mass to the West, without exception the majority of Muhammadan immigrants have refused to assimilate and integrate and instead formed Muhammadan no-go zones ruled by Sharia as parallel societies and in direct contravention to the laws of the states in which they reside. Hence, it couldn’t be more obvious that Muhammadans don’t immigrate to assimilate and integrate. Instead, they immigrate to eventually subjugate and dominate, via a form of stealth and deceptive non-violent jihad that many of us in the West call demographic conquest and the Muslim Brotherhood (the Ikhwan) calls civilizational jihad.

Further in practically all-Muhammadan majority states where non-Muhammadan infidels also live, the non-Muhammadan infidels are always systematically persecuted and often violently oppressed as second-class dhimmis. Nowhere in Dar al Islam are non-Muhammadan infidels afforded the same rights and privileges as Muhammadan citizens.

Therefore, since everywhere the Dar al Islam borders the non-Islamic world there is jihad being waged by Muhammadans against infidels, why do you single out only the Jews for your opprobrium and scorn? Did they rape your sister? Did they steal money from you? Why are you only obsessed with vilifying and demonizing Jews and Jews alone for the purpose of inciting hatred and violence against them, even though like all the other infidels, the Jews are also the unwitting victims of jihad? And never mind the fact that the sole purpose and main goal of Islam is to subjugate the world via the imposition of Sharia.

That was indeed the picture as the Mainstream Media painted in then, and it's as false a picture as the one being painted now regarding the Jewish-Arab Conflict.

The Serbs had been on the right track, doing what they had to do to repulse the Islamic threat from their land. Then they were wronged by the Marxist-dominated media, and following that, President Clinton, who shamefully sent American troops to defend enemies (Muslims; they are by nature enemies to the non-Muslims) against friends.

Blatherings about "the Bosniak Muslims practising a moderate form of Islam" notwithstanding, the end result of Clinton's folly has been the setting up of a jihadist base in Europe, a beachhead for Islamic imperialism to attack.

You are a liar. The Jews have been nothing but generous and sympathetic to the Palestinians. Israel has provided literally millions of tons of aid to the Palestinians. Israeli and American Jews have provided millions of financial and economic aid to the Palestinians. Recall, it was the American Jews that funded greenhouses and farms for Palestinians in Gaza, only to have Hamas burn them to the ground. What have the Palestinians done to show they want peace? What contributions have they provided to the world? And inventing modern terrorism does not count!

Israelis teach their children to make peace with the Palestinians and Jews inculcate their youth with tolerance and respect for the Palestinians. Jewish children are brainwashed to believe that Palestinians want peace and the crimes of the Palestinians against the Jews are whitewashed in an effort to promote "peace and understanding." Palestinians on the other hand teach their children hate and xenophobia and implore their children to murder and kill Jews in Israel and worldwide.

Oh sure Canada alone in the entire world is the exception to the rule and the only country that has been able to successfully assimilate and integrate Muhammadans. Wrong as usual Muchiboy! While the no-go zones are not as developed as they are throughout Europe, because Muhammadan immigration is still at its earliest stages in Canada, they are in the process of being established as the Muhammadans have been lobbying for Sharia courts for years, and in fact up until recently even had Sharia courts in Canada.

Moreover, Muchiboy multiculturalism is cultural communism and an insidious way to destroy homogeneous unified societies from within by turning them into polarized societies with disparate groups of people with different interests all competing tooth and nail against each other. Of course, tolerance is also always mentioned in the same sentence with multiculturalism and diversity, because tolerance encourages non-assimilation and non-integration, which hastens and enhances the polarization that will eventually evolve. Only fools or self-haters favor multiculturalism, diversity, and tolerance because of the polarized society that will eventually emerge.

Further more, before I took aim at the Muslims,I would examine the behavior of Jews towards the Palestinian people. It is every bit as mean spirited and unconsionable as your own charges.Muchiboy

In other words, we should all ignore the fact that on a global basis the Muhammadans are waging a jihad aimed at subjugating all non-Muhammadan people and not just Jews, and never mind the fact that the Jews in Israel are far from the only victims of that jihad, as non-Muhammadans from around the world, as I detailed for you, are also the victims of jihad. In other words, everyone should be like you, totally obsessed and consumed with hating Jews and demonizing and vilifying them to incite as much hatred and violence against Jews as possible, even to the point that we totally ignore the obvious global jihad that is also targeting us. Sorry, but not all of us can be as narrow-minded, mentally deficient, prejudiced, and bigoted as you.

"E.Jerusalem is going to be the capital of a Palestinian state, like it or lump it."

First of all, Jerusalem has always been a Jewish city with a Jewish majority (for over 2 millennia). Any so-called Palestinians living there are "occupying" Jewish land. Eastern Jerusalem has always been Jewish. In the 1920s and 30s Jerusalem's borders expanded into what is now known as the eastern part of Jerusalem. This area that included the Jewish Quarter of the Old City, the City of David, the Temple Mount and the Western Wall. Additionally, "major institutions like Hebrew University and the original Hadassah Hospital are on Mount Scopus — in eastern Jerusalem."

Second, try actually looking at a map of modern Jerusalem before displaying your painful ignorance. Jerusalem is a "patchwork of both Jewish, Arab and mixed neighborhoods with no restrictions on Arab residents moving into predominantly Jewish neighborhoods in any part of the city." The only time that the eastern part of Jerusalem was exclusively Arab was between 1949 and 1967, when Jordan illegally occupied the area and forcibly expelled all the Jews. During that time, the Arabs desecrated Jewish holy places and Jewish graves just like their Nazi ancestors.

The President's worldview of the Middle East has not changed at all since the erliest days of his primary campaign for the office. While the other Democratic Party candidates has foreign policy advisors that were generally upportive of Israel, all of Barack Obama's foreign policy advisors had well established credentials as were either Israel-second or overtly anti-Israel. Most of those people currently involved in the Obama foreign policy group. This Administration has consistently given a pass to Palestinians and Muslim groups in support of them, while giving the back of the hand to Israel.

There will not be a peace agreement between Israel and the Palestinians until the Palestinians want to accept Israel as Jewish state and agree to negotiate directly with Israel. That will not happen until Hamas, who control the Gaza, agrees to those terms. And that will not happen as long as Iran exerts its Muslim extremist power in the region with the added threat of a nuclear weapon.

The inappropriateness of what Barack Obama said and where he said it just underscores the ideological divide between himself and Israel.

President Obama disclosure to have the Israel return to the 1967 borders follows the principle of dar al-Islam, meaning anytime Moslems conquered or simply lived in a part of a country that country is now forever consecrated to the Umma of Islam. That is why Hamas deeply feels the entire land of Israel belongs to Islam. That is why Jerusalem is, in the minds of all Palestinian Arabs, part of the Umma…because a mosque was built on The Temple Mount centuries ago. That's why they they think they own Spain and France and now they're moving on England the US. The concepts of dar al-Islam and dar al-Harb, which means once Moslem countries are Islamized and Sharia Law is established, the Qu'ran encourages Moslems to go ahead and conquer the non-Moslem countries, so that eventually the entire world will live under Sharia. Now what do you think is the best way to halt this movement?
