The Hot Summer of 2010: Where Can the Jews Go to Now?

Scorching temperatures are breaking records in Europe this summer. But the weather is moderate compared to the Islamic tempers flaring across the continent.
Tonight, Islamic riots are breaking out in France and England. Concerning the riots in France, Jihad Watch is reporting:
The violence began around midnight on Friday and lasted through the night in the poor suburban neighborhood of Villeneuve, home to the alleged robber.
Police said they intervened after local residents stopped a tramway by setting a fire on the rails and stoned it. At least 50 cars were burned and police said they were shot at once and returned fire. No casualties were reported.
The situation is not any better in England where Islamic protesters have driven cars into unarmed citizens. Atlas Shrugged has reported:
UPDATE: We have eyewitness accounts coming in of Muslims using cars to drive down English protesters in Dudley. There has been one report of an incident in which a car drove into four people, leaving them seriously injured and one woman dead. An air ambulance has landed to assist the injured. We are waiting for confirmation of this incident.
The aggressive behavior of the Islamists has not just been relegated to anti-establishment protests and riots. They have focused on the Jews as a main enemy. This week, Haaretz reported that the Jews of Malmo, Sweeden, have been forced to abandon the city due to anti-semitic attacks. The Haaretz stated:
A continentwide study, conducted by the Institute for Interdisciplinary Research on Conflict and Violence at the University of Bielefeld in Germany, released in December 2009, found that that 45.7% of the Europeans surveyed agree somewhat or strongly with the following statement: “Israel is conducting a war of extermination against the Palestinians.” And 37.4% agreed with this statement: “Considering Israel’s policy, I can understand why people do not like Jews.”
“[There is] quite a high level of anti-Semitism that is hidden beneath critics of Israel’s policies,” said Beate Kupper, one of the study’s principal researchers, in a telephone interview with the Forward, citing this data and a tendency to “blame Jews in general for Israel’s policies.”
Kupper said that in places where there is a strong taboo against expressions of anti-Semitism, such as Germany, “Criticism of Israel is a great way to express your anti-Semitism in an indirect way.”
One cannot blame the Jews of Malmo for moving to Israel or some other country to find safety. But where can the Jews really go to find peace? Is Israel a sure refuge? The U.S. and the U.N. have adopted policies that are guaranteeing a nuclear Iran. One has to question whether the Western Hemisphere is a permanent safe haven either. This past week a Canadian court refused to imprison an Islamic women who killed her own daughter for religious reasons. Will the Canadian courts punish the religious inspired murder of Jews or Christians any differently?
Where on the globe can Jews, or any freedom loving people, run to escape this radical Islamic scourge? U.S. citizens should not retreat to the all too comfortable position that none of this could happen here. In Dearborn Michigan, U.S. citizens are routinely prevented from practicing their freedom of speech out of deference to Islamists. The video below is one of a series provided by Jihad Watch that documents this growing trend.
