The democrats cannot afford to lose a single black vote come november. It is crucial for the Democrats that black citizens believe that the Democrats’ opponents are anti-black racists. Meanwhile, Democrats are crushing black employment. What would happen if somebody noticed?
Over at Diversity Inc we are informed that:
The jobless rate for Blacks ages 16 and older hovered at 15.4 percent last month, according to new data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, nearly the same as May when Black unemployment hit an all-time high of 15.5 percent.
“The economic crisis has created an enormous hole in the American labor market with a particularly devastating impact on Black workers,” says Arlene Holt Baker, vice president of the AFL-CIO, in a UC Berkeley press release.
Of course this can be verified by consulting a variety of sources and we need not belabor the point here. What is curious is the widespread silence about this damning and lamentable fact. Mr. Obama, much praised for his blackness, has probably kicked more black people out of work than any president since the very white and openly racist Democrat Woodrow Wilson. And yet … listen to the crickets.
… Fox News did something that was absolutely racist …
Apparently Mr. Dean is very excercised about the Shirley Sherrod affair. While unemployment rates in black communities are approaching 1930’s depression levels, the injusticies heaped upon Shirley Sherrod (by the Obama administration) are what we should be attending to, and Fox News and the Republicans are at fault.
I almost feel bad using Howard Dean as a specimen. He really doesn’t seem to be playing with a full deck. But when confronting this sort of arrogant, malicious mischief one has to maintain discipline and not indulge in undeserved kindness that would certainly never be answered. The fact is that he provides us with a pretty good sample of the mental contortions that a leftist party hack will perform for the sake of power. The GOP, the Tea Party crowd, anybody who might resist the march to state control must be percieved by black Americans as racist — at any and all costs, including jobs for blacks.
