Jihadis Demand More Tribute From Japan – Can Washington Be Trusted To Help?

Rising sun or setting sun?

FYI

AFP reports that the jihad is turning its baleful eye on infidel Buddhist Japan. The Lame Stream Media has all but completely ignored the jihad front against the Buddhists of southern Thailand. No doubt they will miss the point here. But Japan is confronted with an uncomfortable choice. Washington, Beijing or insecure solitude.

According to AFP:

Militant jihadists have claimed that a suicide bomber blew himself up on a Japanese oil tanker in the Strait of Hormuz last week, the US monitoring group SITE said.

Mitsui OSK Lines had previously reported that one of its tankers, the M Star, appeared to have been hit by an explosion July 28 in the waterway between Iran and Oman.

SITE said the Brigades of Abdullah Azzam claimed in a message on jihadist websites that it had placed a suicide bomber on the tanker, identifying him as Ayyub al-Taishan.

The most likely and reasonable interpretation of this event, is that jihaddists have decided, with or without the complicity of Mohammedan governments, that the infidel Buddhists of Japan need to pay more in the way of jizya — which is to say, imperial tribute. They are not, by jihaddi standards at least, sufficiently subservient and forthcoming with cash.

The attack sought “to weaken the infidel global order which is thrust unto Muslim lands and which loots its resources,” the brigade said, according to SITE.

This is a notable development, as Korea, Taiwan and Japan have thus far been little disturbed by jihaddists, whose primary attention has been on the Christian west, Hindu India, and little Jewish Israel.

Japan, which imports 90% of its oil from the middle east, and much of that from the gulf has now yet another uncomfortable choice to make regarding its long term defence options.
