How a Smirking Traitor and a U.S. President Found One Another

When the Obama administration announced that it would use a civilian court in New York as the venue for the forthcoming trial of five Guantanamo Bay detainees with ties to the 9/11 conspiracy, David Horowitz called that decision “a propaganda gift to Islamic murderers who will turn the courtroom into a media circus to promote their hatred against the Great Satan.” The loathsome Scott Fenstermaker, an attorney who is currently representing (on a pro-bono basis) one of the five defendants, has confirmed beyond any doubt the accuracy of that prediction.
Fenstermaker’s client, Ali Abd al-Aziz Ali, is the nephew of 9/11 mastermind Khalid Shaikh Mohammed. Uncle Khalid, you might recall, initially honed his terrorist skills on such projects as Operation Bojinka (a foiled plot to simultaneous blow up 12 commercial airliners in mid-flight), the Bali nightclub bombings, the failed bombing of American Airlines Flight 63, and the beheading (with what Mohammed described as his own “blessed right hand”) of journalist (and “American Jew”) Daniel Pearl.
It turns out that Nephew Ali learned lots of things from Uncle Khalid. Indeed, young Ali has proudly acknowledged the role he himself played in the 9/11 atrocity. And it seems that no one — except perhaps his beloved uncle – is prouder of Ali’s exploits than Scott Fenstermaker.
“He [Ali] acknowledges that he helped plan the 9/11 attacks, and he says he’s looking forward to dying,” Fenstermaker says. But Ali and his co-defendants will plead “not guilty” in court, the attorney explains, “so they can have a trial and try to get their message out.”
And might that message consist of jihadist, anti-American propaganda? Not according to Scott Fenstermaker: “You’re going to hear a lot of United States government propaganda,” laments the attorney.
When asked how he would feel if Ali were to be acquitted, Fenstermaker says, “I would be glad that I played a role, if that’s a just result. Certainly. Absolutely. I’d be honored.”
Click the video link at the top of this post to watch Fenstermaker, in an interview with Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly, as he gives us a grotesque preview of how the American court system will be exploited – for all the world to see – by laughing, sneering savages defended by well-attired, neatly groomed, soft-spoken American traitors in the mold of Scott Fenstermaker.
This hideous but certain prospect is nothing more than the very predictable result of the Obama administration’s decision to treat terrorists not as enemy combatants who are at war with America, but as “lone wolf” extremists who act on their own rather than as part of a larger genocidal movement. If not for the Obama policy, vacant-souled specimens like Fenstermaker would be entirely irrelevant.
It is difficult, perhaps impossible, to recall any policy, by any American president, that so dramatically compromised this nation’s security.
