President Barack Obama and his administration have spent the last twenty months attacking Fox News. In his interview with Rolling Stone Magazine, Obama even went so far as to claim that Fox News promotes
a point of view that I think is ultimately destructive for the long-term growth of a country that has a vibrant middle class and is competitive in the world.
Yet Obama has not objected to the television broadcast last Sunday on ABC’s talk show “This Week,” moderated by Christiane Amanpour, of a threat by her Islamic guest to essentially replace America’s self-governing democracy with Islamic rule.
Anjem Choudary, former British solicitor and Muslim cleric spokesman for the group Islam 4UK, said on the ABC news program, without any real challenge from Ms. Amanpour, that an Islamic flag will one day be flown over the White House – i.e., over the American peoples’ house which Obama temporarily occupies and is entrusted to protect:
Well, just let me say that Islam has a solution for all of the problems that mankind faces. If you want to live at peace with Muslims, we are quite willing to live at peace with you. But let us remember that history did not begin on 9/11.
Before 9/11, the Americans, the American government bombed Sudan and they were supporting the Palestines of Israel. So 9/11 was a reaction. You know, I think we need to get away from the stereotyping.
And this idea that you have moderate Muslims and you have radical Muslims is complete nonsense. A Muslim is the one who commits to the Creator; if he submits, he is a practicing Muslim. If he is not, then he should be practicing…
We do believe, as Muslims, the East and the West will one day be governed by the Sharia. Indeed we believe that one day the flag of Islam will fly over the White House. Indeed, there’s even an oration of the Prophet where he said, ‘The day of judgment will not come until a group of my Ummah conquer the one house.’
President Obama has not denounced this threat to the American peoples’ house that he temporarily occupies. Nor has he criticized ABC News for broadcasting such a threat and including it in its lead promotional clips intended to boost ABC news’ sagging ratings.
Evidently, our President is too busy worrying about Fox News’ challenges to his failed policies to spend any time criticizing a TV network’s promotion and broadcast of an Islamic cleric’s mention of the flag of Islam flying one day over our White House.
