Queers for Anti-Semitism

Last week, a group called Queers Against Israeli Apartheid boasted that the Pride Toronto organizers had voted to reverse a decision which would now let them march in the Gay Pride parade. They proudly touted it as a blow against censorship and then issued this statement:

“This is a victory for the Palestine solidarity movement, which has faced censorship and bullying tactics from the Israel lobby for far too long,” says Tim McCaskell, a member of Queers Against Israeli Apartheid. “The Israel lobby learned a tough lesson today about our community’s proud history of standing up to censorship and human rights abuses.”

Proud history of standing up to censorship and human rights abuses? Yeah, you know who actually does do that? Israel. Do you know who would want to punish you, by death, for being gay? Palestine.

Not only does this group try to equate Israel with apartheid, which is odious in and of itself, but they are either grossly intellectually dishonest or they are in abject denial. They are embracing a culture that goes against our very core principles as human beings. They are embracing a culture that considers women as chattel and non-human. They want to be “inclusive,” and defend a country that kills people—for being gay. They are marching to show pride so that gay people in the West don’t have to stay in the closet longer than desired. Yet, they are supporting Palestine, where they would need to stay in a steel-encased panic room, forever.

They are vilifying the one country in the Middle East that truly embraces diversity by believing in freedom: Israel. The Judeo-Christian ethic has done the most good in the World. Always has and always will. The Judeo-Christian ideals of freedom and respect for the individual rights of men—and women, gay or straight, Jewish, Christian, Muslim, Buddhist—all are welcome in Israel.

In Palestine? Not so much.

Tolerance for queers is one of the few beefs one can have against Israel and intolerance for them by Islam is the only thing one can say for that ghastly religion.

    • Aaron

      You are utterly despicable.

Maybe these turf pirates and tuna fish breaths secretky have a death wish because, Hamas follows the teachings and directions of Iran which calls for death for homosexual activity. The Iranian gay and lesbian human rights group Homan says that since 1980, more than 4,000 Homosexual men and women have been executed by the Iranian government and these are only the documented executions/

      Andres and Anolesman below.
This time, all the nations will suffer the wrath of God for the tolerance of abominable homosexuality. It doesn't matter that the western world accepts this deviant behavior and Islam doesn't. Sin is sin and the sin that God hates more than all the others is Idolatry.
Exodus 34.14-17 "….for you shall not worship any other god, for the LORD , whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God –lest you make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land and they play the harlot with their gods, and sacrifice to their gods, and someone invite you to eat of his sacrifice; and you take some of his daughters for your sons, and his daughters play the harlot with their gods, and cause your sons also to play the harlot with their gods."
      17) "You shall make for yourself NO MOLTEN gods."

How I've desired to see Israel 'kick out' all the religions inside of Israel, and all their statues and all their merchandising. Cleansing the Land, and especially Jerusalem. However this would take a strong leader, a great king like good king Josiah (Yoshiyahu). 2 Kings 22.1-2 and 2 Chronicles chapters 34 & 35

"Josiah was eight years old when he became king, and he reigned thirty-one years in Jerusalem. And he did right in the sight of the Lord, and walked in the ways of his father David and did not turn aside to the right or to the left."

In Matthew 24.37 Yeshua (Jesus) said that "the coming of the Son of Man will be just like the days of Noah…..and (verse 39)….."they did not understand until the flood came and took them all away; so shall the coming of the Son of Man be."

By Noah's time, man had gotten unspeakably evil, and God was so disgusted with
His own creation (mankind) that He was going to ' wipe man from off the face of the earth' BUT Noah 'found favor in His sight' and God decided to save this one man and this one man's family as well as the animals.

Reading Scripture very carefully, one learns that the 'there will be a time of distress such as never occurred since there was a nation until that time' (Dan 12.1) and the great tribulation will occur Before the Lord comes in His Glory and not the other way around. see Matt 24.27-31
In summary, be 'despicable' and not politically correct because the LORD is a jealous God!

The name of their organization sums it. They just can't restrain themselves. I take pity on these people and wish them the best in life…….They need all the help they can get..

God will have the last word on Israel.

  • roy

I would be agreeable if the city of Toronto used some of my tax dollars to pay the airfare for all 5 members of "Queers against Israeli Apartheid" to take their protest to the streets of Gaza, signs and all. Only one-way tickets would be necessary thus keeping the cost to a minimum. By their sacrifice, the entire world would be aware of their cause and they could achieve maximum exposure for future "Queers".
    What say you, Tim McCaskell????

    • carol

I would love to that parade in Gaza.. or in Beirut…or Cairo … etc….

    "Politics makes strange bedfellows."

There are homosexuals who demonstrate in support of abortion. Now, one might logically ask, what need of abortion do homosexuals have? The answer lies in the fact they are Leftist organization supporting one another's Leftist causes, and without this mutual support, their individual causes would not have the political traction they do, and now-a-days it is Leftist de rigueur to be anti-Semitic. And that's why you get these bizzarro groups out for one-another.

    • betty boop

The Abortion Rights Action League was taken over by radical Lesbian Feminists 30 years ago. All this stupid ado about causes these stupid loudmouths do not understand, nor really have any connection to, is fomented by the same people who've brought us Obama and Rev. Wright. Geo. Soros and the Radical Left will get into bed with ANYONE to bring about destruction of decent civilization. Myself, I will stand by Israel, as I think gays in this country are holding their own. God Bless Israel, and keep her safe.

  • Ron Grant

"Tolerance for queers is one of the few beefs…"
    "these bizzarro groups"
    "They just can't restrain themselves."

    With apologies to Martin Niemöller:

"THEY CAME FIRST for the Gays,
    and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Gay
THEN THEY CAME for the Palestinians,
    and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Palestinian.
THEN THEY CAME for the Jews,
    and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Jew.

    THEN THEY CAME for me
and by that time no one was left to speak up."

When such diverse groups acknowledge and condemn Israel in sympathy with the Palestinian people it only serves to give greater legitimacy to such grievances.Israel should be acknowledged and praised for her tolerance for Gays as much as condemned for her crimes against the Palestinian people.Muchiboy

      Who's THEY?

      • Ron Grant

        "Who's THEY?"

Originally in the context of '30's era Germany the Nazi's when they started to come after their opposition and political targets, including socialists, communists,Jews, etc.Take it from there,Aaron,in my context.

        "Who's THEY?"

Originally in the context of '30's era Germany the Nazi's when they started to come after their opposition and political targets, including socialists, communists,Jews, etc.Take it from there,Aaron, present context.

      • Ron Grant

        "Who's THEY?"

When first used "they" were the Nazi's that came in the middle of the night then in broad daylight to take away their victims e.g. socialists, communists,Jews. In the present context "they" are the modern equivalents but could be you and me,i.e.start with the gays, and on down the line till "they" come for you and me.So be careful who you pick on,protect the rights of all.I said it once before, and I will say it again tonight. If this was the day Canada declared war on the Nazi's,I would encourage my son to sigh on,if only because once the Nazi's were finished with the Jews, they could just have readily come for us.

        • Ron Grant

          "Who's THEY?"

My reply….must be bug in system alright.

Aaron- if you don't know, you willllllll………

    • MixMike

I am not sure how "Queers for Palestine" gives any legitimacy to the supposed "grievances" of the Palestinians. Their positions make absolutely no sense and they are at best a bipolar, confused and quite suicidal group… they support the Palestinians, who would kill every last gay if they could (as they do in Iran and Saudi Arabia)! Jerusalem had a gay mayor and holds an annual Pride parade. Tel Aviv is well known for its open atmosphere to gays and "gay" areas. When was the last time there was a Pride fest in Ramallah? Gay Palestinians literally FLEE the W. Bank and Gaza to live in peace (and equality) in Israel.

  • Syd Barrett

Isn't Queers for Palestine a sub-group of Queers Against Education?

  • Clay Cole

I think that the gays demostraiting against Israel should show their support for the so called "Palistains" by moveing to the West Bank or Gaza.

  • Richard

With Queers for Palestine Toronto can be assured that It's violent summer will continue. It's leftist violence tolerating chickens are returning to roost.

  • http://intensedebate.com/profiles/findalis findalis

Just one reason why I am against all rights for these queers.

    • MixMike

Nonsense, Gays (not queers) should have as much equal rights as anyone of us. Fortunately they do in Israel. In Iran, Saudi Arabia or the Palestinian territories they would be dead as a doornail.

      • guestspeaker

        'They' already do!
However, not only do they want more rights then the rest of us, they demand that we change in favor of their way of life.
For me, this would force me to deny my God and Savior resulting in the death of my soul.
I will never tolerate this behavior. I will not be politically correct about this deviant behavior. I will not be around their person[s], I will speak up against it when I can, and speak God's word about it when questioned. World-wide acceptance of homosexuality is a symptom of the great 'apostasy' of the last days!

You were correct about one thing, that Israel is the only nation that not only accepts homosexuality but allows them to celebrate it in their streets-to their own destruction.

  • USMCSniper

Let me see. Palestinians are nothing more than the subsidized proxy terrorists of Iran who strap munitions on their own women and children and send them out on homicide-suicide missions to murder other women and children in markets, restuarants, and on school buses The Iranian gay and lesbian human rights group Homan says that since 1980, more than 4,000 Homosexual men and women have been executed by the Iranian government, and provided the following translation of Iranian law concerning homosexuality: The Islamic Penal Law Against Homosexuals in Iran, approved by the Islamic Consultancy Parliament 08.05.1370 (30.07.1991) and finally ratified by the High Expediency Council on 07.09.1370 (28.11.1991) calls for the following: Article 110: Punishment for sodomy is killing; the Sharia judge decides on how to carry out the killing.

  • Armando

I'm sick and tired of the "in your face" HOMOSEXUALS. I say "homosexual" because that is the correct definition: "homo" meaning "same". No one in Israel will hurt you for being "disoriented", you can go about your life there without any hassle. I'm mad as hell for your appropriation of the word "gay" which used to mean "happy" , "merry", "joyful", that you are anything but, with your rantings about your rights all the time. Enough already! And now you are showing your true colors to which you should add the green of Hamastan where you wouldn't last more than a day.

  • badaboo

just when you think you've seen it all …….wtf …

  • Rasmus

How about a new boat with 'Gays for Gaza'? As we understand they have drained their own supply and we could thus reach out in solidarity and bringing much needed attention for this subject?
…And pray that the Israeli navy would stop the boat!!! So while stranded in the mediterranian one might draw attention to the ACTUAL human rights abuses going on….? Anyone gayish out there to join me :) ?
