Statues of the murderous dictator, Josef Stalin, were torn down all across Russia in 1991 after the fall of communism. And just this past month the Stalin monument was removed from the center of his hometown Gori, Georgia in the middle of the night. So, it’s no small controversy that’s brewing in Bedford.
