Magazine Celebrates Mass Murderers At Christmastime

Are you itching to buy stocking stuffers this year that celebrate psychotic mass murderers? Well then, friend, you’re in luck. The extreme-left Nation magazine is trying to raise money by selling products that glorify violent killers such as Che Guevara and Leon Trotsky.

The offering just in time for Christmas came after the Nation put up figurines of two of its heroes for sale a few days ago: Noam Chomsky and the late Communist historian Howard Zinn. (See previous blog post on commie action figures.)

And you can celebrate Karl Marx, the intellectual father of political movements that killed tens of millions of people too. Awesome!

Here’s the Nation‘s email pitch:

Just in time for the holidays, The Nation has teamed up with the celebrated Unemployed Philosopher’s Guild to offer hundreds of great gift options for liberals.

With products like the Global Warming Mug, Obamamints, and dolls and finger puppets in the likeness of artists, philosophers, writers, and historical figures, the Nationmart sells funny and smart products for funny and smart people. We’ve got buttons, T-shirts, and magnetic dress up sets to play with on your refrigerator or filing cabinet! And lots of Nation merchandise.

Sarah Palin driving you crazy? Well, have a little fun and dress her up as a minuteman, a tea pot, or a moose!

Does being a progressive in the current political climate feel like a struggle? Do you feel like Sisyphus going up and down the mountain? Well, see our Sisyiphus watch. Or take a stand and try our Che revolution watch.

Whatever your mood we’ve got unique gifts for you. And remember, a large portion of all proceeds goes to The Nation!

There it is.

The fact that the Nation is offering its subscribers an opportunity to dress Sarah Palin up like a moose shows how obsessed these people are with her. They don’t seem to understand that the more they vilify her, the more popular she grows among conservatives. (That said, the Sarah Palin magnetic dress up kit looks kind of cool!)

In a way, when your enemies are turning you into a dress-up doll, you’ve arrived.
