What The? SEIU Boss Andy Stern On A Deficit Reduction Panel?

It reads like a news flash from the satirical newspaper The Onion: SEIU Chief Gets Deficit Panel Nod.
President Obama has named radical Service Employees International Union president Andy Stern, a hardcore 1960s leftist trained as an Alinskyite community organizer, to a federal deficit reduction panel.
Stern was trained at the radical Midwest Academy founded by Heather and Paul Booth. The academy was founded to teach left-wing community organizers how to promote social change and infiltrate the labor movement. It’s a strange place for a non-radical to be hanging out. Like all Alinsky-inspired radicals, Stern is very sensitive about his public image. He denies he’s a radical.
Nemesis of TV talker Glenn Beck, Stern believes in unlimited government. To him, the Constitution is an anachronistic annoyance to be overcome. He wants government to be as large as possible — to line the pockets of his overpaid union members (and because he no doubt sincerely believes in socialism).
Putting Stern, who like Saul Alinsky believes the ends justify the means, on a fiscal responsibility commission is akin to putting an arsonist in charge of fire prevention.
Stern is on record saying he supports the nationalization of the healthcare system because it will help SEIU, the union whose members roughed up tea party supporters nationwide at last year’s town hall meetings. Stern also called senators who won’t pass ObamaCare “terrorists.”
Putting Stern on the panel “sends a clear message that the White House is not serious about htis commission,” said Rep. Patrick McHenry (R-N.C.), a member of the House Budget Committee. “It’s irresponsible.”
Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.), ranking Republican on the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, plans to pen a letter outlining his concerns with Stern’s appointment.
Issa believes (correctly) that SEIU is “part of the ACORN political machine,” his spokesman said. “This is their man on the fiscal commission.”
