Obama Throws America Under the Bus

Pages: 1 2

An indignant President Obama complained last week, “I can’t spend all of my time with my birth certificate plastered on my forehead.” Fine. How about plastering a copy of his presidential oath of office there instead? The kowtowing commander-in-chief is in dire need of a daily reminder that his job is to “preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States” — not international law or global diktats.

Case in point: Last week, Obama’s State Department handed in America’s first-ever report to the United Nations Commissioner for Human Rights in conjunction with something called the “Universal Periodic Review.” In short, the 29-page document is a self-aggrandizing report card touting the administration’s far-left domestic and foreign policy initiatives for the world’s approval. The report boasts of racial- and gender-bean-counting in the executive branch; Justice Department outreach to Muslim grievance groups opposed to post-9/11 security measures; teachers’ union payoffs in the federal stimulus law; continuing commitment to closing the Gitmo detention facility for enemy combatants; and the illusory lifesaving effects of Obamacare on minorities through “expanding community health centers” (which have yet to be built, but not that it matters in our Nobel Peace Prize-winning president’s age of post-achievement).

The report also includes a section on “values and immigration,” which essentially singles out Arizona’s immigration enforcement law as a human rights deficiency “that is being addressed in a court action.”

In response, Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer rightly blasted Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and the Obama administration for succumbing to “internationalism run amok.” Brewer pointed out in a letter to Clinton, “Human rights as guaranteed by the United States and Arizona Constitutions are expressly protected in S.B. 1070 and defended vigorously by my Administration. In fact, the Department of Justice has correctly not included these so-called ‘human rights’ issues in the current litigation against the State of Arizona.” Somehow, that inconvenient detail escaped the Foggy Bottom bureaucrats’ notice.

You just gotta love Michelle! She speaks for all of us who haven't succumb to the insanity!

If you're a birther…you're the insane one.

What can anyone expect from intellectual trash??

Thanks for that, Michelle.
You always seem to make my day a little brighter…seriously.
I have to laugh at the opening remarks…"An indignant President Obama complained last week, “I can’t spend all of my time with my birth certificate plastered on my forehead.” Fine. How about plastering a copy of his presidential oath of office there instead?"
Love ya', and keep up the great writing!

Obama's habit of mocking the American people, especially when he's trying to cover up for himself, is astonishing. It's yet another example of not behaving in a presidential manner, i.e., he has no dignity. He's arrogant & selfish. He has no empathy whatsoever.
Plastered in his forehead? We'll be happy if he just produces the darn certificate AND the rest of his records, AT ALL!
He laughs; America, he's laughing at us, at you, while he cozies up to the rights violators at the U.N.

"What inspired our president to make a human rights
indictment against the US"? Well let me answer that
question with more than one answer.

1) He does not like the U.S.

2) He is and enemy of the U.S.

3) He wishes us harm and humiliation.

4) He wishes to humiliate the Office of President.

5) He is a duplicitous leftist determined to destroy
the U.S. as we know it.

6) He wants to be called Imam not President.

7) He is having a bad hair day.

William

I think it is grounds for a treason indictment.

8) He is an utter disgrace to all Americans and he does not deserve to breathe our air!

Amen, brother….

• bubba4

Well, the report would only be called an "indictment" by someone trying to misconstrue what it is. Second, this was done by the state department. Obama didn't stay up in his jammies the night before writing about how bad America is.

The only reason you guys even know this thing exists is because FPM tells you…they also tell you what it means and how you should feel about it

• coyote3

Maybe, but it is working.

• Pierce Smith

Trying not to be disrespectful. It seems that our president at times is either antiAmerican or
un American, take your pick.

• sebyandrew

He is already sending out his resume to the "international community." A prophet without honor in his own country,if he must be appreciated elsewhere, then elsewhere he will turn..

There's certainly not going to be any shortage of material for Republican campaign ads next election.

Barack Hussein Obama better known as mister no brains you have done
enough damage to America to last for 50 years. So mr no brains do us all
a mitzwe and step down. You are already known to be the worst president
ever, leaving Jimmy Carter far behind you. I even think that you were not born
in the United states af America. Please leave.

• Gary

I fear that the Republican Party will again do what it recently seems best at…. dropping the ball!
The Party never seems to miss it's chance to miss it's chance! Here is Obozo not only disrepecting America before the entire world again, but this time he is skirting the congress, the rule of law, and the american People (our constitution us the american people). This creep should be impeached but no Dimocrat would dare suggest such a right thing to do.

“robust protections for freedom of expression.”

Didn't Axlerod suggest on ABC that news organizations should disregard Fox News?

• bubba4

While Fox can say whatever it wants, not taking it seriously as a news organization is also protected.

• coyote3

Certainly, but at their peril. There consequences for decisions.

• tagalog

The disconnect between the Obama administration and Americans focuses itself in this area, where the Obama administration thinks state efforts at immigration control in the face of federal inaction are human rights violations, while the general public overwhelmingly sees state immigration control action where the feds won't act as a good thing. We have to get rid of this guy and the Democratic Congress with which he has a symbiotic relationship.

• USMCSniper

Americans not understand. Need to have mandatory reducation. Congress members of Democrat Politburo need [ass law for all citizens to attend reducation camps under Comrade Komissionar Hillary Clinton for greater glory of Chairman Obama.

• Shirts r us

Obamma (yes 2 Ms) is a disgrace to the office of the president of the united states of america, and to all citizens of this country. If he only studied a paragrapuh or 2 of the constitution, he would get it…but no, at heart he wants to destroy america paving the way for the chinese moslems or any other foreign invader to take over this country.

I'm so sick of liberal buffoons running the country. I wish our comanders during WW2 were still alive and well. They are all twitching and turning in their graves at the shameful actions taking place today in America.

Ahh foooey.

One last comment…O is the biggest flip-flopper known to hold office in this counrty….books can already be filled with his lies, rhetoric and baloney. Yessiree.

And he has 2 .3 years to go! OMG, we may yet implode….

Obama's distaste for everything American is but a thread in the whole clothe the ruling class is using to make a universal empire.

So is his lack of border control another thread of the world being made one.

• bubba4

I don't know if you've picked up on this but the "ruling class" no likey Obama. The democratic party may have the White House and majorities in Congress, but that's because Republicans screwed it up so bad.

But the "ruling class" the rich, the big corporations…they hate Obama and are trying everything they can do to get rid of him. They want no taxes or regulation. Since looking back at the disasters that this philosophy has wrought, they make a boogeyman to hate. Yum Yum Yum it's like candy to the FPM crowd…

• coyote3

What are you talking about? Much of the regulations we have are illegal, and have strangled and oppressed business for decades.

• bubba4

Coyote I think that you're unconstitutional.

In the 6th grade we learned that In the USA there are 3 branches of Gov't.
- Judicial
- Executive
- Legislative
They were created in such a way that a ssytem of checks and balances would help "self-regulate" all affairs as not to allow any one branch of Go'vt to get to strong. Children, do you recall that? NO? I ask all of you:
What is the legislative branch doing to stop the Executive branch? NOT A DAMNED THING!
What is the judicial system doing to stop the Executive Branch? NOT A DAMNED THING.
What are the people doing to stop the Executive Branch? NOT A DAMNED THING.
Do you see a pattern here? We might as well tear to pieces all our founding documents…The Articles of Confederation, U.S. Constitution, Bill of Rights, The Declaration of Independence, Magna Carta, Mayflower Compact, etc. (ok the last 2 were jokes, but most of you are dolts and have no clue about these or any other founding documents).

"Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer rightly blasted Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and the Obama administration for succumbing to “internationalism run amok.”" Arizona's governor is too nice. This is TREASON. Not only does the Presidential oath call for Obama to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the US, but the document says that the federal government will protect its states against domestic violence and invasion. Obama is not doing it so he turns to the UN, holding up Arizona as a violator of human rights before this council whose membership includes countries that have killing & torture down to an art.

All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent.

• Wesley69

Obama is determined to eliminate the sovereignty of the US, placing it under the UN flag and the International Court of Justice. His ACTIONS, WORDS speak volumes. The border doesn't matter, because the US as a country does not matter. He is not worried about reelection. The US Presidency is but a stepping stone, for what he really wants, to be the LEADER OF THE WORLD. Look how quickly Obama changed course within Wednesday night's speech – we are out of Iraq, going to get the job done in Afghanistan according to my timeline, but we need to get the economy on track, but Thursday, I will be working on the Israeli-Palestinian Peace Conference. All, I can say about that is beware Israel. If he threw the United States under the bus, what do you think he will do with you!!!!!
All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent. Thomas Jefferson

Obama, I just can't use the word President, has been following Saul Alinsky's dogma to destroy the U.S.A., and weaken all Democracies World Wide.

IMPEACH HIM!

IS THERE A DEATH PENALTY FOR TREASON?

• djaz

To speak against America and it's officers to and in foreign territory, is in violation of the Logan Act.

• Anna

Is there ever going to be anyone strong enough to legitimately "impeach" this "foreigner"…immigrant with a phony social security no. We can talk and talk but who will put this before someone who has the power to get in this liar's face and said …you fail Mr. President…..you need to step down….the American people are fed up with all his "change". Why do we have to wait for an election? I thought there were areas of judicial acts to protect the Americans from a mentally ill man holding office who has seriously lied and pushed the envelope way too far.

• scola91660

The guy who can't spend a lot of time with his "birth certificate plastered to his forehead" certainly appears to spend a lot of time with his head up his ass.

There are over a dozen Lorenzo Bouchards in North Americva. Obviously one is writing with somewhat contrary principles than the other, or a troll is falsifying to downgrade the original writers comments.
