Obama Uses “Code Word” that Olbermann Derided As Racist When Used Against … Obama

Last night I was reading an article on The Hill that said President Obama accused Republicans of being “cocky” ahead of Election Day. That struck me as an odd choice of words by the President because I remember many left wing pundits, most notably Keith Olbermann, saying words such as “cocky” were “code words”  used to hide racism towards President Obama. So, I decided to ask Keith if the same standard applied to President Obama using those words to describe the attitude he perceives of his political opponents. Here’s the brief exchange that took place:

Here’s the video:

The hypocrisy of Keith Olbermann here is just ridiculous.  Anyone who uses the word “cocky” to describe President Obama is using “racist code words,” but when President Obama uses it to describe his opponents, Keith denies it is a racial code word at all – even though he used this line of reasoning to describe Erick Erickson, John Stossel, Jay Nordlinger, Marc Thiessen, and Glenn Beck as racists.

You see, something is only racist if a conservative says it. The question is, how long will it take the liberal media to realize that Tuesday’s beating is directly attributable to this failed strategy of vilifying anything in opposition to Obama or his policies? On second thought, never mind. Carry on, Keith.
