Ron Paul: Blame Israel First

Pages: 1 2

Do you know who the latest Zionist on the block is? It’s the man who called Israel, “an aggressive, national socialist state” and suggested that the original World Trade Center bombing may have really been carried out by Israel.

Then there’s the solicitation letter which boasted that this courageous fellow was exposing the, “Bohemian Grove–perverted, pagan playground of the powerful. Skull & Bones: the demonic fraternity that includes George Bush and leftist Senator John Kerry, Congress’s Mr. New Money. The Israeli lobby, which plays Congress like a cheap harmonica.”

So how is he a Zionist? Ask Jeffrey Goldberg of The Atlantic. According to him, Ron Paul is, “in one sense, a true Zionist, a believer in two core values of the Jewish liberation movement: Jewish independence and Jewish self-reliance.” The “sense” in which this is true is the sense in which the segregationists were really a black power movement who wanted black people to be independent and self-reliant.

This discussion began when the Republican Jewish Coalition failed to invite Ron Paul to their forum of leading presidential candidates. The RJC had not invited Paul back in 2007 either and there was no obvious reason for them to have done so this time around. A forum is not a debate and a Jewish group has no obligation to invite an anti-Israel candidate, just as a Catholic pro-life group has no obligation to invite Nancy Pelosi.

Goldberg perpetuates the myth that the issue is Ron Paul’s opposition to foreign aid. That is not the issue. If it were the issue, Governor Perry, who said that “The foreign aid budget in my administration for every country is going to start at zero dollars,” would not have been invited either.

Foreign aid is not the issue. The actual issue is that Ron Paul’s views on Israel and Jews (as well as American foreign policy) are indistinguishable from those of Pat Buchanan.

Ron Paul isn’t simply against foreign aid; he believes that the Israeli lobby controls Washington and involves American in foreign wars… and that this was among the causes of September 11. Paul has described the original World Trade Center bombing as a “retaliation” and during the Republican debates in 2007 and 2011 blamed American foreign policy for Al-Qaeda’s attacks.

The Buchanan comparison is true in more ways than one. Ron Paul has insisted that we should have stayed out of WW2 and let Nazi Germany and the USSR fight it out, and that by entering the war Churchill only prolonged it. Clearly this was another expression of Ron Paul’s Zionism and his desire to promote “Jewish independence and Jewish self-reliance.”

Ron Paul supporters will clamor that the above material comes from the Ron Paul Survival Report, which according to the Paul campaign was supposedly written for years by some mysterious stranger pretending to be Ron Paul. This unknown stranger discussed his time in Congress, his medical career and his wife Carol all in the first person. That the media actually bought this ridiculous explanation, even while actual Republicans were lynched for much less than writing in support of David Duke, should tell you all you need to know about Paul’s cheerleaders in the mainstream media. But let’s skip over the “Report” for a moment.

An Israeli first jew pretty much accusing someone of treason. How Ironic.

How dare this guy not want to continue forking over billions of dollars to the country you give your real loyalty to! It is like another holocaust.

    • Sashland

Ron Paul may not hate jews, but his supporters clearly do… what a coincidence.

      Jennifer, you are fos.
Nobody in America 'puts Israel first'
      got it, you over-bloviated windbag?
People are worried about FOOD, and a roof.

I bet you are a J-street Jew, they LOVE your rhetoric

  • Johnny

    Ron Paul has clearly stated:

“I would cut all foreign aid.  I would treat everyone equally and fairly.”

Despite the headlines, is that an anti-Israel stance?

It is an anti foreign-aid stance combined with consistency in foreign policy.

    • Guest1

You are so full of crap-or did you not read that this isn't about aid (primarily), it is about Ron Paul's anti-Israeli statements!!

  • Sanjay

Obama = Newt = Mitt = Perry. Different puppets, same deceitful/ traitorous Federal Reserve/Bankster masters.

Gingrich, Perry, Romney = medical care dictatorship, $16-Trillion/bailouts, endless wars/empire, free medical/education/food/house/amnesty for 3rd world aliens, racist quotas, bankster funded campaigns. But, thats not all.

Gingrich = endless wives, $1.8-Million Freddie-mac bribes, 55-Million$ corporate medical bribes, fairness doctrine, gun control.

Romney = abortion, gun control. Perry = Gardasil for little girls, "oops, whats the 3rd one?", "Bank-of-America helping him out".

End the wars/empire, end the federal reserve/IMF/World Bank, end racist quotas, end TSA/DHS Orwellian police state.

Ron Paul will restore sound money, strong military, free enterprise, local govt, traditional families, protect SS/Medicare for Seniors, let young kids to opt out.

US forces gave 3-times the $ to Paul as all other GOP contenders combined. Paul supports private aid to Isreal.

Only Paul has the guts to Balance the Budget and cut 1-Trillion dollars in first year.

Reagan endorsed Paul during his Presidency. Paul is the most conservative leader in GOP history.

See these 4 links on Perry, Newt, Mitt and Paul and come to your senses.

And you, my whatever, are definitely on something

Jesus Christ im sick of u Jews crying about the world not helping you on every little thing… So there is one guy who is not afraid to publicly say the media and Washington are controlled by the Jews… Why else would we being dumping money we will never get back into your craphole of a situation over a damn holy land which we Christians have realized isn’t even worth the fight. America should not support a holy war, maybe that is why so many Muslim hate us, maybe we shouldn’t have just created a Jewish state with out really thinking about the consequences. why is it that everywhere the Jews go they are persecuted? Maybe there is a problem with them, not the rest of the world.

      • stern

What a bloody AH you are. I suggest you spend some time googling what Alexander Haig said about Israel. Then find out what General George Keegan said. Then take your ant-Semitic and stick it where the sun don't shine.

      • ObamaYoMoma

Jesus Christ im sick of u Jews crying about the world not helping you on every little thing… So there is one guy who is not afraid to publicly say the media and Washington are controlled by the Jews… Why else would we being dumping money we will never get back into your craphole of a situation over a damn holy land which we Christians have realized isn't even worth the fight. There you go folks, the above is a classic moronic anti-Semitic Ron Paul self-hating supporter in full glory. They call themselves true conservatives. However, true conservatives call them unhinged paranoid delusional moonbats.

    • ObamaYoMoma

Ron Paul will restore sound money, strong military, free enterprise, local govt, traditional families, protect SS/Medicare for Seniors, let young kids to opt out.

Ron Paul's idea of a strong military is zero military. Thus, without a military there will be no sound money, no free enterprise, no local governments, no traditional American families, no SS & Medicare for seniors, etc., etc., etc., because there will inevitably be no America anymore thanks to Ron Paul – anarcho-kook extraordinaire and obsessed and paranoid Jew hater.

Indeed, according to Ron Paul and his delusional and mentally handicapped supporters, the 9/11 jihad attacks were America's chickens coming home to roost. Indeed, if people think that Obama is the anti-Israel President, if Ron Paul ever gets elected, he would be Obama on steroids.

In fact, he allegedly champions freedom and liberty, but at the same time denounces defending it as interventionist. In other words, he is exceedingly mentally incompetent and incredibly bigoted at the same time, and his unhinged supporters are also incredibly moronic and bigoted as well. They are definitely not conservatives, as conservatives don't hate America and are always vigilant when it comes to protecting and defending freedom!

  • Mike

    Man, I love the Onion.

  • ben

Ron Paul is more than just anti-Israel. He seems to be an active advocate for the enemies of the United States. One thing that floored me was when he said the USA should give away it's gold to our Chinese creditors in payment of the US bonds they hold in order to be fair. It's incredible that a man who seems to have a good grasp of currencies and the true nature of the dollar would have no conception whatsoever of a bond denmoinated in a fiat currency. He is in favor of wiping out the federal governement and empowering all enemies of the United States. While he claims to be a student of Ayn Rand and the Austrian school of economics, he is closer to just being a shill for the rabidly Jew-hating Ezra Pound and Eustace Mullins.

    • Alexander Gofen

Yes, Mr. Paul is an islamic apologist and an opponent of the Christian national identity of America.

    • daniel

Explain to me why it is my sons duty to defend a foriegn nation.
I am at a loss as to why people think Americans should pay and die
For Israel a country who already has made it clear they don’t need
Our help. We need to fix this country, Follow the constitution, before we put the problems of other nations on the table. Come on Newt Gingrich left his wife in the hospital with cancer. I mean gave her papers on the hospital bed.
Left her for a woman 25-26 years younger than him.

At his age its like sleeping with a high school girl when your 40.
He is disgusting human bieng. I may loose hope if he advances

      Then they win right?

      Go Ron Paul

      • Hokma

Ron Paul is nothing more than a mean spirited bigot who is hiding behind a warped interpretation of the Constitution to suppport his inherent hatred.

        • ObamaYoMoma

Ron Paul is nothing more than a mean spirited bigot who is hiding behind a warped interpretation of the Constitution to suppport his inherent hatred.

      • Daniel Greenfield

Your sons have never defended Israel. Nor will they ever.

      • ObamaYoMoma

Explain to me why it is my sons duty to defend a foriegn nation.

Obviously, like that unhinged anarcho-kook Ron Paul, your obsession with hating Jews defines your entire worldview. Thus, you see Jews as the biggest evil in the world and also blame Jews as the root cause of all the ills in the world. In fact, you are so obsessed and paranoid with hating Jews, you actually think that they somehow control the world behind the scenes like we are all their puppets. Indeed, it just doesn't get anymore paranoid and delusional than that.

In any event, I hate to rain on your incredibly paranoid-delusional parade moonbat, but American troops have never ever fought a war on the behalf of Israel. Indeed, show me an obsessed Jew hater and Israel basher, and I'll show you someone completely oblivious of Islam and the existential threat it represents for the West. Indeed, you Ron Paul Jew bashing self-hating kooks are little more than gullible useful idiots.

I am at a loss as to why people think Americans should pay and die

You are not only at a loss buddy, you are incredibly paranoid and delusional as well! Damn!

        • Shayaan Matin

so wait, wait, youre saying that he's wrong for hating on jews and that it's all discriminatory and hateful.. and then take that entire logic, smash into a wall by saying muslims and islam is an inherent evil and they should be wiped out. Seems like we have a very strange predicament here. Somewhat EXACTLY like the radicalists islamic predicament.

And then you hate on the guy for just asking why it's an american obligation to defend israel.. now here's the part where you answer giving me common sense rather some weird twisted and racist explanation. I'm waiting

        • Scattel2z

Islam is an existential threat to the West and you're talking about obsessed paranoia? Is that a proper characterization of your comments or am I missing something?

      • aspacia

No Israeli expect any other national to fight for them. In contrast, Kuwait, the Saudis, Iraqis, et al do expect others to fund and fight for them

    • daniel

You must be jewish. Fight your own wars

      • Hokma

Jews do fight their own wars since the holocaust.

      • ObamaYoMoma

You must be jewish. Fight your own wars

Damn…this unhinged loon is so obsessed with hating Jews that he believes that anyone who isn't paranoid and delusional like him must be a Jew. Indeed, he is the epitome of all self-hating Ron Paul anarcho-kook supporters. Personally, I think they should all be locked up in straightjackets before they go off the deep end massacring people they mistakenly believe are Jews.

    • alanweberman

He and Mullins were featured in the now defunct Nazi rag Spotlight

    • Arora

Enemies of America? How did they become enemies in the first place. Care to shed some light on that?

    • Dan

The federal government IS ALREADY WIPED OUT!!! This is what you morons don't understand. The wealth of this nation has long since moved overseas, we are living off of Keynesian bubbles now. Ron Paul wants to end the Keynesian bubbles, and the endless wars which would allow America to hit the reset button.

And as far as the anti-semitism goes…seriously, you people need to go jump off a cliff. One of his best friends is Jewish and never once has anyone ever heard him actually say anything racist or anti-semitic. If it weren't for those retarded newsletters, you would have absolutely nothing to go off of.

Furthermore, this entire idea is absurd – "Ron Paul is running for president because he secretly wants to kill the Jews and blacks." Just think about how stupid you sound. He's running for president because he wants this country to be respectable again.

      • aspacia

Reread the article, and follow the link to what Paul said. It is rather long, so do a control F for the word Israel. It is all there.

      • Scattel2z

Yeah but what's a primary without islamofascist war mongering. Israel has some 300 nukes to defend itself but Iran can hardly gather enough enriched uranium to build a single bomb. The CIA reports that the Iranians are spending much effort attempting show their nuclear program is further along than it actually is. Sounds like another Iraw, we need to get those WMDs.

      • aspacia

Dan, he has made many antiSemitic claims.

    • fuzzywzhe

Paul said the US should sell it's gold, knowing that gold is the only real money this country has. It's a way of demonstrating what actual money is, and what it isn't. It isn't credit that is issued against the national debt – but that is what a US dollar bill is, nothing more. It's exclusively backed by debt.

Officially, gold is just a useless lump of metal. That's what Ben Bernanke says it is. Well, is this is the case, sell it.

But it's not the case. Gold is money, but only a few people are smart enough to realize this. For the rest of the stupid people, they can have toilet paper instead.

    • aspacia

I do not know if Paul is just ignorant or just as dangerous as O. Paul is totally unconnected to world economics and reality.

      • Scattel2z

12 term congressman, graduate of Austrian Economics, on the committee on International Relations, Subcommittee on Western Hemisphere, Subcommittee on Asia and the Pacific, Committee on Financial Services, vice-chairman of Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations, Subcommittee on Domestic Monetary Policy, Technology, and Economic Growth, Joint Economic Committee and is a practicing OBGYN. Impressive resume for someone who knows nothing of world economics and reality.

        • aspacia

Paul wants to make nice with fanatics, is ignorant of history, and is antiSemitic.

To put is simply, I dislike him for the above reasons, albeit I would like to pull our troops from Europe and let them defend themselves, the ingrates.

  • joe

what slander … a shameful misrepresentation … nice job liar

    • RobHoey

yeah joe–he's just using Paul's lying words,eh? When you see Paul speak, listen to his anti-Israel bs, and call the person who points this out a liar, that only makes you an idiot. You're probably an anti-Semite, but I say probably because I don't know for sure, except from the stupid things you said here. But you, on the other hand, call Daniel Greenfield a liar, and all you are is a Paul zombie with a pinhead brain.

    • aspacia

Exactly what are his lies? Support your claim.

  • epaddon

It nauseates me to see a guy in a Republican party whose view of foreign policy is the same as George McGovern's from 1972.

    • guest

      or george w in 2000?

    • jon

Funny how Reagan actually had a non intervention foreign policy, Compared to Clinton and Obama. Conservatives were actually elected to end the Korean and Vietnam wars. Conservatives only this past decade became wasteful warmongers. Its liberal to wanna spread democracy throughout the world. Its not conservative.

      • Chris Nichols

No, it's conservative to want to defeat your enemy, the real war mongers. How did Reagan have a non-interventionist policy, by calling for the development of a missile defense shield and moving missiles into Western Europe. Did he close any bases in Germany? Iraq under Saddam invaded two Muslim nations and planned on invading a third, Saudi Arabia, who asked for our help, which is why we have bases there. He's not going to start any more wars now is he, or gas Kurds. Osama bin laden was a low level foot soldier, flunky when the Soviet Union started a war to take over Afghanistan, he didn't have any problem with our intervening on the behalf of his fellow Muslims then. What did he give us for our trouble, a smoking hole in the ground and the death of 3,000 Americans. It's not about grievances, they have none, they owe us. And it's not about Israel either, it's about Islam.

      • aspacia

Not really Conservatives, just the frat boy Wbya was is a RINO. Actually, do liberals want democracy or tyranny as they seem to support and defend certain totalitarian ideals, and forcing free people to do x, y, and z, along with tolerating the intolerant.

      • epaddon

Funny how you forgot all about Grenada, the first instance when communism was rolled back during the Cold War.

    • BS77

Ron Paul is too old— and a whiney squeaky voiced isolationist…..who will never be nominated, never be elected. Sorry to rain on your idiot parade.

      • fuzzywzhe

Then kiss your country and constitution goodbye.

      • aspacia

Your argument against Paul is superficial and worthless.

    • derrick

      or George Washington!

  • Xtrdouglas

Someone call the paddy wagon!! Uncle screwge is railing on about how everyone hates the Jews again!!! Take his eggnog away please!!!

The American government is not beholden to the existing soverign government you baffoon!!! The American government is held hostage by the American Jewish citizens who provide ooodles of funds for politics in order to keep the government officials standing behind the Homeland like a Big Brother Thug-

The prime minister of Israel said the don’t need the USA to take care of the problem ( netinyahoo) they can do it on their own–

You should listen to your leader— but, that would mean you still haven’t cut the ties yet and still consider yourself a part of the struggle over there.

    Paaaaalease!!!! Your a puttz!!!

    • Patrick

Did you ever see the movie, Charlie Wilson's War? It's a true story. His friend asked him why he voted a certain way on an issue. He said he didn't want to upset the Jews in his district. His friend asked how many Jews were there in Lufkin, Texas? He said four, but his Jewish contributions come from all over the country…

    • ObamaYoMoma

The American government is held hostage by the American Jewish citizens who provide ooodles of funds for politics in order to keep the government officials standing behind the Homeland like a Big Brother Thug-

So let me see if I got this right, the one Jewish lobby in America representing 14 million Jews in the world and one tiny Jewish state is somehow exponentially far more powerful and influential than the multitudes of lobbies bankrolled by OPEC oil dollars representing 1.6 billion Muslim jihadists and 56 Islamic states, that all, by the way, violently oppress and systematically persecute, when not outright slaughtering them altogether, all Christians and all other non-Muslim unbelievers living in their countries as second-class dhimmi citizens. Talk about narrow-minded and talk about paranoid and delusional. Indeed kook, you are the product of obsessed Jew hatred and the epitome of all Ron Paul self-hating anarcho-kooks.

The prime minister of Israel said the don't need the USA to take care of the problem ( netinyahoo) they can do it on their own–

Uhm…just wondering, have you ever heard of jihad? What if I was to tell you that the same jihad the Islamic world is waging against the Jewish unbelievers in Israel is also being waged against the American unbelievers in America as well. Would that make sense to you? Just how severely mentally handicapped can you be? Damn…Jew hatred is a severe mental disease.

      • Flipside

        Escape it. Flee to Israel.

        • Chris Nichols

Yes, that's a brilliant idea. Because as we all know, there is no Jew hatred in the Middle East.

      • RobHoey

Jew hatred is definitely a mental disorder because, in the final analysis, the Israeli Jews are our best ally and best hope in the Middle East. To identify with Islam, as this cretin seems to be doing, is akin to identifying with your jailor as happened in WW2 etc. It is done out of fear, and must be done by denial and projection onto the Jews. I can almost wager this guy is a raging liberal, but I have no doubts about his anti-Semitism, which usually comes from envy. One can only imagine how many "real" Nobel Prizes" he holds in science, math, economics, and physics. At least Arafat and Obama have a less shiny one for peace–now that's a laugh.

    • RobHoey

it's always entertaining to read the rantings of those anti-Semites who pretend to possess credibility. good to know you're aware of one Yiddish word, "putz," since you've probably been called one many many times. like paul, you would throw America's allies under the bus and support the terrorists by justifying their false palestinian claims. your hatred is only exceeded by your single-minded stupidity, and you are a sad, shameful person with a lot of hate in your little heart. Merry Christmas.

    • aspacia

Paul is antiJew, just read his words. This is a simple fact. He rails against the only free land in the ME for discrimination and says zilch, zip, nada about the open discrimination in the rest of the vast Muslim dominated ME

That is correct, Bibi argues we fight for ourselves, and we can make it on our own. Our Foreign aid to Israel is for our strategic interests .

  • FreedomIsAbsolute

@Dan Do your self a favor and research Michael Sheuer. He was the Head of Binladen Unit for the CIA. He agrees with Paul on every foreign policy issue. When you do not know what motivates the enemy, how do you expect to defeat the enemy? Binladen said he wanted to do three things to us: 1) stretch our troops out so thin across the mid east that they would be ineffective 2) Cause us to spend ourselves to economic chaos 3) Creat political destability. He is now wiped off the face of the Earth, but I would say he did what he said he was going to because fools like you tell your readers lie like "They hate us cus of our freedoms." What BS. You are part of reason why America is in the condition it is today.

    • Alexander Gofen

What does motivate the enemy? Koran. What has empowered the enemy? Trillions of oil money:

      • Joe

No, religion is just a source of nuts for those of power in the region, and our actions go to feed their propaganda and insight a general hatred among the people against us when innocent people are killed.

This shouldn't be hard to understand. All you have to do is put yourself in their situation and it becomes quite clear. If China was doing these things to us, then the most extreme elements of our society will be the ones who rise up against them, and even while we may not agree with them, they will be deemed better than the Chinese, and a group of people we would never otherwise support will gain power in our country.

It doesn't take a genius to see that a policy which is creating enemies faster than you can kill them is bad policy, and it's just plain out foolish and nothing more than ignorant pride to ignore this. Lincoln asked, am I not destroying my enemy by making them my friend? And today our policies seem hell bent on gaining more enemies than destroying them.

        • InRussetShadows

No, religion is not a "source of power". It is the way, the truth, and the life to people who are willing to kill themselves in order to be martyrs. And it is not "religion" as though Bhuddism and Christianity and Islam taught the same thing, because they don't. Let's be specific. It's the Koran, and what it teaches.

I notice that you spent ZERO time analyzing what Islam teaches and how it motivates people, and how pervasive Islam is in Middle Eastern societies. If you knew something about Islam, you would have known that this is not the first time that Islam has menaced civilization. Egypt, Lebanon, and Syria all used to be majority-Christian countries. What happened? Why did it happen?

It is not "our policy" that creates a fanatical desire to kill the kuffir. That explanation is simplistic and ignorant, in addition to being wishful thinking. It goes much deeper than that, as anyone who knew something about the actual culture of the Middle East, would know.

          • fuzzywzhe

During every economic downturn, guess what happens?

Church attendance skyrockets. People become religious in times of stress. This is why old dying people suddenly find Jesus, and very poor people who struggle to stay alive do as well.

In 1953, the United States destroyed the Iranian democracy, with Operation Ajax. The new puppet dictator, the Shah, ran an oppressive police state, and sold off oil rights to the British and the United States in exchange for the US and the British putting him in power. To stay in power, he greatly reduced civil liberties.

And guess, a RELIGIOUS group sprang up to oppose him. This is the Iranian Revolution but today you know it as the Islamic Revolution.

That's probably the main reason we have to deal with radical Islam. US foreign policy has been to disenfranchise people in the Middle East, to support dictators and to plunder their natural resources for the benefit of US corporations, not US citizens.

But remember, dummy, Day h8 us 4 R FreeDUMB. Right?

          • aspacia

Operation Ajax was to protect private oil industry assets and our oil interest because the president was going to nationalize the Western created oil industry in Iran, which seems to be a form of, ah, you know THEFT.

          • Foolster41

Hmm. Religious group, but what religion is that? Christian revolution? Buddhist revolution perhaps?

I'm sure the barbary pirtes was also in answer to US policies, way back too?

          • charles ranalli

            "Koran Koran Koran"
i'm sick of hearing about the (admittedly rotten) Koran.
how about the rabid racist ultra-bigoted TALMUD ???
not to mention Solzhenitsyn's "200 Years Together"
            documenting jewish bloody bolshevism –
(available at – only in Russian)
which no-one dares to publish in english ?
            charles ranalli

          • aspacia

            charles ranalli,

First you decry the Talmud, then lump it with Communism. This illustrates you know squat about either.

          • Sashland

You refer to "hearing" about books – maybe you might want to read them before you accept other people's misunderstandings about them.

        • Chris Nichols

I mentioned this above, but I will say it again, Osama bin laden had no problem with out interventionist policy when we the Mujahadeen defeat the Soviets by supplying them with Stinger missiles and training. How are we creating enemies by freeing Muslims from dictators. Exit question, if they hate us so much, why did Al queda in Iraq start a bombing campaign targeting civilians.

          • aspacia

Bin Laden argued that he/Muslims did not want any further Western influence and preferred their 7th century tribalism.

        • aspacia

Joe, do you mean our foreign policy? If so, what about siding with Nasser when he stole the Suez from the UK? What about our condoning of the creation of Jordan from land slotted for Jews. What about the billions we give to the ME in aid. What about saving Kuwait from Saddam? Even the Sauds permitted Jews on their land for this effort. Shall I continue?

    • ObamaYoMoma

@Dan Do your self a favor and research Michael Sheuer. He was the Head of Binladen Unit for the CIA.

Sheuer is also totally obsessed with Jew hatred exactly like you and that moron Ron Paul. Thus, like you and Ron Paul, Sheuer's entire world view is also defined and tainted by intense Jew hatred. Thus, like you and Ron Paul, Sheuer is nothing but a mentally incompetent unhinged moonbat and loon, as exactly like you two losers he sees Jews as the root cause of all evils in the world.

      • Alex

everythings Jew hatred, don't want to give tax payer money to Israel, you must hate Jews, don't want to get dragged into wars in the Middle East, you must hate Jews, don't want to defend a country that built a wall in another country in an attempted land grab, must hate Jews, honestly your just as racist as anyone that hates Jews for your hatered of Islamic people, Islamic, Jewish, Chrisitan, Athiest we're all the same, no ones any better then anyone else, Israel's a grown-up country with it's own nukes and it's own millitary, it can take care of itself, we have bigger issues to deal with like a crashing economy and corruption in the FED

        • stern

It's not Ron Paul who's the problem here. It's the people who claim to support him, who are clearly Jew haters. Just read their statements here. In fact, just read your own statement – "built a wall in another country". What country? There is no other country here!

        • ObamaYoMoma

everythings Jew hatred, don't want to give tax payer money to Israel, you must hate Jews, don't want to get dragged into wars in the Middle East, you must hate Jews, don't want to defend a country that built a wall in another country in an attempted land grab, must hate Jews, honestly your just as racist as anyone that hates Jews for your hatered of Islamic people, Islamic, Jewish, Chrisitan, Athiest we're all the same, no ones any better then anyone else, Israel's a grown-up country with it's own nukes and it's own millitary, it can take care of itself, we have bigger issues to deal with like a crashing economy and corruption in the FED

Read your own garbage, it couldn't be anymore obvious that you are completely obsessed with hating Jews. So obsessed with hating Jews, as a matter of fact, that you are totally unaware that the same Islamic world you sympathize with that is waging a permanent jihad of conquest perpetually against the Jewish unbelievers in Israel are also waging a permanent jihad of conquest perpetually against American unbelievers as well, including you and me, and indeed all non-Muslim unbelievers in the world as the fundamental mission, sole purpose, and main goal of Islam is to make Islam supreme.

As a matter of fact, because of your unhinged obsession with Jew hating, you swallow without reservation what is hate propaganda and Muslim taqiyya used to dupe gullible useful idiots like you like it is your favorite crack cocaine, and never mind the fact that the Muslim jihadists you sympathize with and lend aid and support, per your unhinged obsession, violently oppress and systematically persecute, when not outright slaughtering altogether, all Christians and all other non-Muslim unbelievers that happen to live in their countries as second-class dhimmi citizens without exception.

Indeed, how could you be so oblivious? Obviously, because you are so obsessed with hating Jews that you block out everything else. Not to mention that the moral relativism you emote in your posts as well, which causes you to conveniently lump everything together in the spirit of PC multiculturalism in order to draw unhinged moral equivalences is also a huge source of your problems that leads to your severe issue of being paranoid and delusional. Like I said, all you self-hating and anti-Semitic Ron Paul anarcho-kook supporters are severely mentally handicapped.

In addition, the Jewish unbelievers in Israel are far from the only non-Muslim unbelievers in the world combating a permanent and perpetual jihad of conquest. As the Islamic world is also waging permanent and perpetual jihads of conquest against the Hindu unbelievers in Kashmir, Jammu, and India, the Buddhists unbelievers in Thailand, the Christian unbelievers in the Philippines, the Orthodox Christian and atheist unbelievers in Chechnya and Russia, the Christian and animist unbelievers in Cote D'Ivoire, Nigeria. Sudan, Somalia, Chad, Kenya, Ethiopia, and Uganda, the Christian unbelievers in Lebanon, the Orthodox Christian Serb unbelievers in Bosnia and Kosovo, etc., etc., etc. ad nauseum.

Not to mention the stealth global jihad being waged against the West primarily via mass Muslim immigration for the purpose of stealth demographic conquest to make Islam supreme. As Muslims never ever migrate to the West or anywhere else for that matter for the purpose of assimilating and integrating, but instead to eventually subjugate and dominate via the eventual imposition of Sharia for the purpose of stealth demographic conquest to make Islam supreme.

Nevertheless, out of all the many other permanent and perpetual jihads of conquest taking place all around the world simultaneously, somehow you single out the only one being waged primarily against the Jewish unbelievers in Israel to spew your mendacious garbage and at the same time in the process to incite hatred and violence against the state of Israel to facilitate another mass genocidal holocaust of Jews. Yet, like a moron you have the audacity to call me a racist! Give me a break you Jew hating anti-Semitic bigot, you couldn't be any more mentally deficient, incompetent, and unhinged all at the same time!

Yeah right AIPAC and the Jews are the bogeymen. You better watch your back, there is a Jew staring at you. It's true, even when you are sleeping.

The single common denominator that attracts all you moonbats to Ron Paul is obsessed Jew hatred, as everyone of you bigots are totally obsessed and consumed with Jew hatred to the point that you are all oblivious to everything else as well. Indeed, I've never experienced a group of kooks more unhinged in my life.

So what about Jews who are against Israel or whatever, does that make them anti-jews too?

Okay, so we should not provide Foreign Aid to any country, right? If so, what about U.S. business interests in foreign lands. We have thousands of multinationals operating in many areas of the world and basically provide foreign aide to boost our esteem and protect our tax revenues.

Look, I am afraid of Islam because of its tenets/truth which call for my death, and trust me, devout Muslims would savagely tear this woman to bits.

Jews settling in Israel was not a land grab; the land was purchased. Israel is no more artificial than Jordan, Syria, Iraq, Iran, Saudi Arabia.

The ME people you defend simply cannot tolerate Jews and their laws. There was never a call for a Palestinian Homeland while Egypt ruled Gaza; there was never a call for a Palestinian Homeland while Jordan ruled The West Bank, and no international outrage when Jordan expelled every Jew from Jerusalem.

Why was there no international aide of the Jews expelled from the ME.

Nope, you are siding with bigots you fool

    • InRussetShadows

You, sir, know nothing about Islam, and therefore, what you say is of no value. What other people say is not important. It is your mindless "believe what so-and-so says" that illustrates the terminal stupidity of all Ron Paul followers. When you understand what Islam teaches about war, about telling the truth to kuffirs, and other such matters, you will not make the same mistakes as Sheuer does. I'm surprised. You want me to throw away my own brain and mindlessly follow what another man says? How statist!

    • aspacia

Not all military agree with Sheuer, and remember our military, along with much of the West has a long history of discrimination against Jews.

ME Muslims hate us for being infidels, and not much more. They do not need an excuse to hate, they manufacture any outrage to murder.

What does Islam teach, Alex? It teaches that Dawa is the responsibility of every Muslim. What is Dawa, Alex? Dawa is evangelization. How is Dawa different from saying "Jesus loves you," Alex? If the hearer rejects Dawa, then the Muslim must either convince him to pay the jizah (protection tax) or kill him.

It's basic Islamic theology, Alex. It looks like you are ignorant.

    • ObamaYoMoma

Most of us already have, but unlike you moonbats we are not obsessed anti-Semitic bigots, so Jew hatred does not define our entire world view. Furthermore, not every one is dumb enough to swallow Ron Paul's severely warped interpretation of the constitution like you loons either.

  • Alexander Gofen

The author is correct in every point. Yet there are more points to be made about Mr. Paul. If isolationism of Mr. Paul were honest, he would wish to isolate America from islam. Yet in reality Mr. Paul is an islamic apologist and an opponent of the Christian national identity of America. Just recall what is his position on the following basic statements:

    1) America is an exclusively Judeo-Christian nation and must be preserved as such.

    2) The 1st Amendment concerns only varieties of Christian faith and has nothing to do with islam and other foreign religions of the world.

    3) Unobstructed proselytization of any foreign religion damages the Christian national identity of America, while islam is not just foreign – but an open enemy of Christianity and Judaism.

His reply for these basic statements above has been always resounding NO. Mr. Paul undermines the uniquely Christian national identity of America

    • Haole Guy

Isolationism is the policy or doctrine of isolating one's country from the affairs of other nations by declining to enter into alliances, foreign economic commitments, international agreements, etc., seeking to devote the entire efforts of one's country to its own advancement and remain at peace by avoiding foreign entanglements and responsibilities.

Non-interventionism – Political rulers should avoid entangling alliances with other nations and avoid all wars not related to direct territorial differences (self-defense)

I suggest you learn the difference. You come accross as ignorant to the highly educated and motivated Ron Paul supporters. It's funny, how many Ron Pau supporters post compared to Neo Cons. haha feeling a little scared of the impending landslide.

It is laughable that you can call the the good Dr. a anti-semite. Go vote for Newt or Mitt so Israel has to ask for permission to build a settlement or protect her border. Just Remember Newt, Mitt and Obama all get their money from Goldman Sachs.

      • Alexander Gofen

I did not write anything whether "good Dr. is a anti-semite". If you insist that "good Dr." is non-interventionist, he is not. If he were, he would say:

No more islam in America. Buck stops here. America is a Christian nation.

Yet he actually welcomes and embraces islam in America!

        • Alex

Quick question, where does that leave the Atheists, or the Deists, what about those people that believe in god but don't believe in the God, what about the people that believe in God, but not your God, what about people that believe in multiple versions of God?

Oh and what about those wacky pagans, you know the ones that came to America to escape religious persecution, you know the thing you’re doing now. Friendly hint from a guy in law school, when you’re making an argument about what the government should and should not do, know exactly what the Bill of Rights protects before you make a complete ass of yourself.

By the by would you outlaw Islam in America, or just kill anyone of Middle Eastern decent on sight, not that I find either possible in today’s society but I do wonder what your idea of the "Buck stops here" entails.

          • Alexander Gofen

The Bill of Rights protects the rights of the homogenous society which was that founded by the Fathers:

"Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is
wholly inadequate to the government of any other."

And "religious" means exactly Christianity: not anything in the world.

Every (non-suicidal) society cares to preserve its national identity. America was a place to escape not from any religious persecutions, but from persecutions against certain Christians (by some other main stream Christians). Therefore America may grant asylum for persecuted Christians: not persecuted moslems (or homosexuals, or communists, cannibals…)

So, if Mr. Paul were an honest non-interventionist, he would claim that being a moslem alone must make it impossible to seek for asylum in America.

And before the 1960s (before the B. Kennedy treasonous bill) the profile of immigrants ought to match the existing profile of America! Before the 1960s moslems could not seek residence in America! The fact that we already have millions of moslems inside is already a dangerous disorder by itself, but Mr. Paul embraces them.

And yes, islam in America must be outlawed as an enemy propaganda in the time of war which islam wages against America and non-islamic world.

          • Alex

First off you seem to be forgetting the vast number of people from the Middle East and China that helped build much of the American rail system, add to that the fact that Islam has been in America since the 1860's and I have to disagree with much of your opening point.

By your same logic blacks sould be thrown out of the country, mexicans, asians, anyone non-white really.

Also you you fail to realize that several of our founding fathers were not religious, Thomas Jefferson nearly discredited Christainity all together beliving in a god that was a clock maker that let the world tick. The adverage beliver in Islam has never harmed me just as the adverage Jewish person has never harmed me, if we were to step down this path we would become the type of people that force religion on to people and that is immoral, that is a sin, the God I belive in teaches love for all, to greet people with an open palm not a close fist.

          • Alex

Let me ask you, do you know any Muslims, if so do they commonly go out of their way to harm you on a daily basis, what about Americans that turn to Islam (I have a friend that went from Christian to Athiest to Muslim, would he be arrested) and these people, what would you do with them because I have a solution, lets put them into labor camps and make them work, or gas them in showers, after all that's what a group of Christians did in Germany to some Jewish people they were "at war with". To me I see no difference between that and what you are asking America to do to people that did nothing besides practice their beliefs.____Your logic is seriously flawed by a failed understading that these terrorists are radicals, same as groups like the IRA and the KKK, who have caused you to look at an entire people with hate. You act as if America is suppose to be White Anglo-Saxon Christians only, but that wasn't the case, it isn't the case and it will never be the case, because we the melting pot nation, if your ever in New York City I suggest you __read the Statue of Liberty

            (Part 2)

          • ObamaYoMoma

Let me ask you, do you know any Muslims, if so do they commonly go out of their way to harm you on a daily basis, what about Americans that turn to Islam (I have a friend that went from Christian to Athiest to Muslim, would he be arrested)

Moonbat, serious question. How can non-Muslims know Muslims, since per the dictates of Islam Muslims are forbidden from being friends with non-Muslim unbelievers, as Allah says any believer that becomes friends with unbelievers is an unbeliever? I mean you are trying to make an absurd and ridiculous point, but the only point you are making is that you are incredibly gullible and moronic. Indeed, no wonder you are a kook and Ron Paul supporter!

Look moonbat, ALL MAINSTREAM ORTHODOX MUSLIMS ON EARTH are jihadists. No exceptions. A tiny minority of them are violent jihadists, while the vast overwhelming majority of them are non-violent stealth and deceptive jihadists, and the few of them that are not jihadists are not Muslims at all, but instead blasphemous apostates that per the dictates of Islam must be executed.

Furthermore, non-violent jihad relative to violent jihad occurs astronomically far more prevalently in the world, simply due to the fact that there are far more non-violent stealth and deceptive jihadists in the world.

In addition, most non-violent stealth and deceptive jihadists see violent jihad attacks as being exceedingly counterproductive and harmful because it invites unwanted scrutiny, attention, and focus on Islam. In fact, many non-violent stealth and deceptive jihadists will even cooperate with Western authorities to a certain extent to stop violent jihad attacks.

As a matter of fact, the most prevalent form of non-violent stealth and deceptive jihad employed by the Islamic world against the West today is mass Muslim immigration to the West for the purpose of stealth demographic conquest. As Muslims never ever migrate to the West or anywhere else for that matter to assimilate and integrate, but instead to eventually subjugate and dominate via the eventual imposition of Sharia for the purpose of demographic conquest to make Islam supreme.

Therefore moonbat, because most Muslims aren't severely mentally handicapped like you, they don't go around lopping off the heads of every non-Muslim unbeliever they come in contact with because that would be exceedingly counterproductive and harmful since it would invite all kinds of unwanted scrutiny, attention, and focus on Islam, and it could possibly even undermine the stealth global jihad they are waging around the world against all non-Muslim unbelievers, including even those dastardly Jews in Israel the Ron Paul anarcho-kook's hate so much.

            (Part 3)

          • Alexander Gofen

ALex, your long diatribe rather displays your confusion of concepts.

            1) Islam is not an ethnicity or race. Islam is a political ideology (wrapped into a religion) aimed at destroying America (and the civilization).

            2) America – as any nation – must care to preserve its own national identity, which includes also the existing racial profile. Some other world ethnicities and religions number in billions. America does have its borders, and America must care to not allow numerically bigger world players to overwhelm itself. As simple as that.

For such a prominent "non-interventionist" as Mr. Paul (in views of his supporters) the above must be the axioms.

          • Alex

I'll keep this reply short then

            1) Islam, the religion founded in the early 600's has very little to do with America. It's goal is not to destroy anyone but in reality spread peace through the message of their god. Your thinking that they follow the religion without thinking, similar to a man that reads the Old Testment and thinks he's the sword of God. (True story man went on to kill 15 Athiests, is he a good representation of the adverage Christian?)

            2) What is our racial profile, is it white Anglo-Saxon male like, because that's long gone, is it Christian, because that's gone too, we've never been a nation of all Christians, nor a nation of all Whites, never. Religions, races, ideas spread, they wax and wane, that's the way of the world, and to think that you can shut down your borders is laughable at best.

Final question/point here, if we were to start arresting those who follow Islam, then what makes us better then the Nazis that did the same thing to the Jews?

          • Alexander Gofen

"Islam, the religion founded in the early 600's has very little to do with America. It's goal is not to destroy anyone but in reality spread peace through the message of their god."

            – This is an outright lie spread by islamic apologists. Read some books of scholars of islam, say R. Spencer.

Disregarding what is islam, must not a prominent "non-interventionist" like Ron Paul wish to prevent intervention of islam into America?

"What is our racial profile, is it white Anglo-Saxon male like, because that's long gone, is it Christian, because that's gone too, we've never been a nation of all Christians, nor a nation of all Whites, never."

In fact, we had always been near 100% Christian and greatly Anglo-Saxon nation – a homogenous society like in majority of other nations. Except that it was our Founders' credit to establish this last bright city on the hill.

"Religions, races, ideas spread, they wax and wane, that's the way of the world, and to think that you can shut down your borders is laughable at best."

Thank you. Now everybody see clearly what you are.

It appears that intervention INTO America is quite OK in a view of Ron Paul's supporters.

"if we were to start arresting those who follow Islam, then what makes us better then the Nazis that did the same thing to the Jews?"

To correct a damage is always more difficult than to incur it… Moslem must be encouraged to leave for any of the 1.2 billion strong of their crapistan nations ("umma"). Any person who entered a Judeo-Christian nation America with the goal to remain a moslem made a mistake.

          • Alex

It's racism at it's very core to begin arresting people for a perticular lifestyle, the Islamic people have just as much right to practice their religion as christians, Jews, and all other religions. The goverment shouldn't control religion period, end of story, it's not the goverments job and at the end of the day, and on a side note I don't care what you belive in it's immoral. Under your logic my roommate, whos a registered republican and a full supporter of Rick Perry this election would be taken away just because you and him disagree. You know what I might have to say a few extra prayers for this but at the end of the day we will never know if theres a god or whos god is right until we're all dead and I think it's terrible for you to turn your back on your fellow man because you think you have the answer to the greatest mystery in the world. You can sit there and take verse inthe quran as violent but the bible has just as many violent verses, you take a few radicals and denounce a whole people in their place and that is horrible in my opinion.

          • Alexander Gofen

Don't put your words in my mouth. I did not write "arrest".

"It's racism at it's very core to begin arresting people for a particular lifestyle…"

Is islam a race? Is Nazism a life style? Is a cannibalism a lifestyle? Is a bestiality a life style?

"Islamic people have just as much right to practice their religion HERE as Christians and Jews" THERE, especially in Saudi Arabia. Did Nazis or Japanese have the right to spread their ideology in America during WWII?

Islam is an enemy ideology and propaganda tool. At this point of war there is no need to arrest moslems. It is enough to close their organizations, mosques, prohibit proselytizing islam, and absolutely stop moslem immigration.

I still did not get how it works in Ron Paul's non-interventionism crowd:

They welcome any intervention into America!

          • Talal

"- This is an outright lie spread by islamic apologists. Read some books of scholars of islam, say R. Spencer."

bwahaha. obviously your entire argument is now destroyed and discredited by you even mentioning his name here. he is not a scholar of islam, and has never done any studies on islam in any university of any kind. you have just shown your hand.

          • Alexander Gofen

One must be particularly ignorant not recognizing R. Spencer as the scholar of islam, or still (in 2011) not seeing the threat of islam right here at one's own nose…

The USA isn’t exclusively judeochristian the first amendment is for freedom of religion not just freedom of religion unless you’re not Christian. Just because you want it to be doesn’t mean it is. If the founding fathers wanted the country to be exclusively judeochristian they would’ve said so in the constitution and Christianity and Judaism would be the official religions but guess what they’re not. This is America where we have freedom of religion.

The founding fathers did understand that America is EXCLUSIVELY Judeo-Christian:

Until 1950 every nation in the world had its unique national identity. It went without saying that America (Britain, Spain, France, …) where Christian nations, not anything-in-the-world nations. Your position is no different than that of the lefts and the One-World-Crowd.

Yes, a US citizen may have a whim to convert into islam, but the rest of the citizenry must be very concerned and disallow islam to proselytize in America.

    • jon

“Alexander Gofen” sounds like one of those made up names from those bank of Nigeria scams.

    • James2039

Uh, you do realize that Paul is a non-interventionist, not an isolationist right?

      1. Is false, most signers of the Declaration of Independence (by a very slim margin) were Deist, not Christian.
      2. What in the world does the 1st Amendment have to do with religion?! Do you have another copy of the Bill of Rights with some subtext that no one else got a copy of?
      3. You realize that Judaism is an enemy of Christianity right? That whole Jesus on the cross thing? Yeah that was Jewish people.

How do people have the internet and still think like this? Really? I would have hoped that almost unlimited knowledge at the fingertips would have actually made people a LITTLE more intelligent.

      • Choi

        You Jew-Hating MF!
The Judea-OCCUPPYING ROMAN EMPIRE put Christ on the Cross,NOT the OCCUPPIED Jews.
The Romans WERE the Power ,Roman Governor Pontius Pilote CONDEMNED Him,Roman Soldiers FORCED Him along the "Via Dolarosa" whipping ,beating, and tormenting him on the way to Calvary,Roman Soldiers NAILED Him to the Cross, and SUPERVISED Christ's Execution/Crucifiction.
And than,THEY BLAMED THE JEWS after the Birth of Christianity and Emperor Constantine became Christian and turned the Roman Empire Christian as well.
        Nobody Else did.
        Nobody else COULD HAVE!

      • Alexander Gofen

        James2039 ,

No, Mr. Paul IS NOT non-interventionist. If he were, he would say:

No more islam in America. Buck stops here.

No, Judaism IS NOT an enemy of Christianity, nor Christianity is an enemy of Judaism in theological sense. Your statement as to why Jesus was on the cross well explains your own mind set.

        See my other replies here.

    • Alex

Wow….just wow, I'm amazed, nay shocked that anyone can have such backwards views but looks like you have them my man. " islam is not just foreign – but an open enemy of Christianity and Judaism" that is laughable at best, Islam at it's core is a peaceful religion, just like Christianity and Judaism, and most religions of the world. Your response to me sounds like the type of radical religious coots that give decent people a bad name. You probably sit up on your marble throne mocking, nay condemning people because they have different religious beliefs. My man you better be careful up on that pedestal you've built for yourself (and equally minded radicals) because you might find yourself with the Atheists and the Buddhists and the "radical Christians" that see them as brothers, not enemies. I leave you with a quote my man, it's from Matthew 7:1, "Judge not that ye be not judged" I suggest you take that to heart the next time you want to judge someone for a life choice their making

      • stern

Have you actually read the Quran? You know, specifically the parts that kill for killing infidels? Have you actually listened to any sermons from Imams in the Middle East? … "a peaceful religion at it's (sic) core" … yeah, right!

        • Alex

Oh that's right I totally forgot the specific parts about killing infidels, like this hate filled part
"Again and again will those who disbelieve, wish that they had bowed (to God's will) in Islam. Leave them alone, to enjoy (the good things of this life) and to please themselves: let (false) hope amuse them: soon will knowledge (undeceive them)." (The Noble Quran, 15:2-3)

Just terrible, how could they have such hate for us, what about this one

"Say, 'The truth is from your Lord': Let him who will believe, and let him who will, reject (it):……" (The Noble Quran, 18:29)

Wow that just jumps out at me, you know what, these quotes of hate have proven to me that we need to go and bomb them all before they….do…nothing….oh, you see in Islam, murder is a sin, murder of a brother, murder of a non-beliver, it's all murder

        • Talal

"Have you actually read the Quran? You know, specifically the parts that kill for killing infidels?"

please quote the verses in their said contexts, and not just copy a slab of writing you have no idea about.

plus the word "infidel" is a Christian word used by Christians to attack even other Christian denominations. it doesn't exist in islam. shows how much you know about it. RP for president.

    • Anarch

1.) Complete BS. Ever hear of "separation of church and state"?

2.) That's like Canadians and Europeans claiming to have free speech and then locking people up for "hate speech" or "holocaust denial". What you just described isn't freedom of speech, stupid. At all. And no where was that ever specifically stated. People as ignorant as you are even allowed to spew their garbage. I don't like it, but I'd fight for your right to do so.

3.) You're wrong. While I tend to agree that certain division are damaging to a nation, it's something we've always had to bite the bullet and accept because of the constitution that you've just raped with your inaccuracies and/or outright lies. And what's all the "Judaism" crap about? How is Judaism somehow magically okay? They didn't settle the country, they came over in the early 1900s and now they control our foreign policy and cause way more problems than they've ever been worth. If we let you have your way, then you'd probably campaign against the Catholics or the methodists or whatever Christian denomination you disagree with…all the sudden other Christians would become your target. There's a reason why we separate church and state…YOU.

And you don't even bother to explain how Paul wants to "isolate us from everyone but Islam". You just make the claim a scurry off. It's a lie.

      • Alexander Gofen

1.)… Ever hear of "separation of church and state"?

Yes, I did. This is a Marxist-Bolshevik doctrine. The Founders believed in UNITY of Judeo-Christian faith and State

        2.) … What you just described …

So what did I just describe? The 1st Amendment allows a whim of certain citizens to convert into whichever they like, yet it is not a license to proselytize anything in the world one likes, not is it a license for changing the national identity, which had been (until recently) understood to be a Judeo-Christian by both Lefts, Rights and in the middle.

3.) Well, let me take your disrespect and lies about the Jews for what it is for while. Even according to you, if the Jews appeared here in 1900: Why are moslems coming here since the 1960s? Until 1960s America was near 100% Christian (with reverence to Judaism). How does it match the American national interests to let in a unassimilatable people?

As to Mr. Paul's selective "non-interventionism", I (and others) have quoted him many times. For him, intervention of islam into America is welcomed, and making America islamic – a legitimate goal as though protected by the US Constitution.

Finally, given your disliking of Jews: there are mere 14 millions of them in the entire world. They would not change American Christian majority even if they all rushed into America (not to mention that Jews do not proselytize). Yet there is 1.2 billion moslems in the world, and they do proselytize and do aim at making the hosting nations islamic.

    • Blaine

My Christ is the Prince of Peace, I don't serve the god of forces and mammon. God reserves the right to project violence, it is your job to follow his commandments.

17 The third time he said to him, “Simon son of John, do you love me?”

Peter was hurt because Jesus asked him the third time, “Do you love me?” He said, “Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you.”

      Jesus said, “Feed my sheep.

I missed the part where it says bomb my sheep into oblivion.

      • Alexander Gofen

How does your post relate to items 1-3 about proselytizing islam in America (promoted by Ron Dhimmy Paul)? How islamization of America does contribute to the Kingdom of Jesus?

I'm sure glad you said that, because Israel doesn't need our help. Instead, we need Israel's help, since having Israel as an ally is like having a gigantic permanent military base right in the heart of the Islamic world. Not to mention all of the extremely valuable intelligence that we get from Israel absolutely free, as Israel easily has the best intelligence services in the entire world.

Thus, if we didn't have Israel as our most valuable ally today in the heart of the Mideast, America would have to build numerous military bases in the region just to replace Israel and significantly beef up our intelligence gathering capabilities which combined would easily cost altogether exponentially far more money that the pitiful amount of foreign aid we provide Israel on an annual basis. Thus, having Israel for an ally actually saves us money.

Not even bin Laden said that when he explained the reasons for his ordering his useful idiot monsters to take down the Twin Towers in NYC. In fact, bin Laden went way back to the Crusades kicking the Moslems out of Spain hundreds of years ago as one of his complaints against the West. Was the Israel-Arab/Palestinian problem mentioned in his diatribe? Yes, but, it was only peripherally addressed in his incessant criticisms of the Crusades.
One other issue, Scheuer was a mid-level CIA guy who's critical of most, if not all, of our activities in the Middle East, including our support of Israel's survival. He's neither a historian or anything else unique in government, nor does he purport to have special insight. He's just a retired mid-level employee of the CIA who worked at the Middle East desk.. Only those who wish to dump on Israel use his opinions as gospel.

As I posted below Communism is actually Judaism 2.0 with Man as Supreme Being. Anti-Semitism in America is an Industry which is really anti-anti-communism and about protecting communist-atheist "Jews" not Judaic Jews. The latter are worthy beings and good Americans who deserve all respect. Not so the former. We need to set the world straight on this and it will make everyone's life better.

  • Colin

Soooo… You agree with his stance on Israel, but he's the anti-Semite-super-dangerous-person-that-we-should-all-fear-because-of-his-beliefs? I'm glad the people in this country are waking up to how boldly the mainstream media (read: you) lies to them; your comment board is overflowing with comments from an American populace sick of lies and deceit. This article is extremely libelous, as are the articles you give links to. Additionally, I may be wasting my time, but I think I can help you understand what you seem incapable of grasping: human beings around the world, not just Americans, are rational beings. They respond to incentives just like we do, and an occupying force in any country (we have occupied the Middle East [and the rest of the world] for decades) gives the people of that nation an incentive to be resentful and vengeful against their occupiers. This is not a justification of violence or terrorism, this is simply an objective application of human reasoning to a situation. On YouTube there is a video titled "Chinese Army in Texas" that sums up why we have so many enemies very nicely, and it should make viewers uneasy about our military operations to protect our "strategic interests."

    • 58TROJAN23

Wow, I am pleasantly impressed… One of the most well articulated and substantive arguments in counter to Ron Paul I’ve seen to date. I applaud your journalism. It gives me hope in the media that Ron Paul can be rationally debated. Overall, I am an ardent supporter of Ron Paul, which I thought you might like to know. Thank you for providing evidence, and its helpful to see issues that I may disagree with him, WWII European involvement. No one yet in the media, to my knowledge, and I read about every article Google has on Ron Paul, has ever really provided evidence of substance on which to debate him! So thank you again for your commitment to journalistic excellence. You mother is surely proud.

  • Jack

Its amazing how when a citizenry has been lied to for 48 years, pushed into immoral wars, had our economy killed off by corporate greed taking jobs to, and selling 8% of our debt to China, that so many are open willing participants to such corruption. Are they involved or just plain stupid?.
Yes its funny to see the cockroaches scamper when RP turns the light on. They are desperate to keep the American public sedated and the truth hidden from them. This country's birth was from a revolution against injustice, in case anyone has forgotten. We had help at first, but for 200 years we have insisted on supporting ourselves. Israel deserves that chance. I have no ill will against Israel, I am concerned for all peoples in that region. That is more than I can say for the Neo-conservatives who seek Israel's alliance for power and wealth gain. You really think the government cares about Israel? About as much as we cared for South Vietnam. Or Iraq. Or Iran in 1953.
Israel is beginning to be the 32 yr old guy who still lives in his mother's basement. Except Israel is 63. It's high time they got independent. And yes we'll still need you, but we won't feed you, when you're 64.

No one is talking about sending American troops to fight for Israel. But Ron Paul is against any military, strategically and scientific cooperation with Israel, although Israel contributes to the US know-how, technology improvements and scientific inventions as far as the US contributes to Israel. The problem with Ron Paul is that he hates Jews and want to break the alliance with Israel.

  • alanweberman

Ron Paul has always been the favorite of the Nazis, starting in the late 1970's when he was featured and lauded in the Nazi publication Spotlight. His foreign policy advisor was fired from the Jamestown Foundation for Jew hatred. But so many of these comments come to his defense. That is because Horowitz has moved too far to the Right and has even come to the defense of Jared Taylor. The chickens are coming home to roost.

  • Bob Hobart

The writer of this article is under the impression that Islam is evil and seeks the destruction of all, just take a look at his past articles, he has a pretty clear and misinformed agenda. I wonder what vitriol he would have spewed during the Christian Crusades. Congratulations on defecating upon the function and purpose of news media. You are a disgrace to your kin.

    • Rifleman

Gee, I wonder what would ever give the writer that crazy idea…

    • Alexander Gofen

The Christian Crusades stopped islam from conquering Europe.

If you do not know that islam is in fact evil, see this:

And whichever is islam, does American have a right to preserve its non-silamic national identity?

    • InRussetShadows

Islam is evil, Bob, because Islam teaches pedophilia, slavery, polygamy, female sexual mutilation, oppresses all Christians via the jizah and other means, states that women are unequal to men under the law, is rabidly anti-semitic, and so forth.

The Crusades, Bob, were DEFENSIVE wars, fought by Christians to prevent the enslavement and the murder of their own people. By the way, the Muslims made it all the way up to the gates of Vienna (that's in Austria, Bob), before they were stopped.

Also, Bob, did you realize that the Muslims burned the library at Alexandria? That library held some of the rarest books in the world at the time, and many books which had no other copies. Because of the perversity of the Muslims, knowledge was forever lost.

Yes, Bob, Muslims are evil, because they follow a pedophile slavemongering misogynist warmonger who made up a religion to satisfy his endless lusts.

    • AbeBird

Hobart, the writer is right. Muslims want to crash the western Judeo-Christian culture and dominate the universe. Don't blame me…. .

  • Mr. Liberty

This sounds like sour grapes. The Jewish people represent less than 2% of the American population, and they already got their representation with 3 Supreme Court Justices, the Federal Reserve, and this forum where they denied Ron Paul participation.

Their opinions are overstated in America, and it's time Americans cared about America first.

By the way, we got attacked at Pearl Harbor, and therefore Ron Paul would have declared war with Congress's approval. That is totally false that he wouldn't have retaliated.

    • Rifleman

Nope, the USA was interfereing in Imperial Japan's Eastern Co-Prosperity Sphere, and had a presence in Asia. By Paul's logic, we should never have aided China and withdrawn from Asia and the Pacific after Pearl Harbor.

      • Alex

Actually by his logic we would have declared war on Japan, which would have caused Germany to declare war on us, which would have resulted in the exact same result as what happened in history, but in all honesty please keep talking about things you don’t know about, please it’s just so entertaining, I mean I was bored out of my mind but then you made the claim that Ron Paul, a veteran, would turn a blind eye on fellow veterans being killed and that just made my day. Little lesson for you Rifleman (glad your mother gave you such an amazing name) after 9/11 Ron Paul voted to go after Osama, his disagreement isn't that we went after Osama, it's the fact that we decided to sidetrack ourselves and get bogged down in a "War" against an ideology, I mean honestly the War on Terror is one of the dumbest things of all time, you can't fight Terror, it's actually impossible by the commonly accepted definition of the word, and since when has fighting ever solved "Terror" or for that matter "Terrorists", one only has to look at Vietnam and the original rebellions against the Soviets to see it's impossible…….logic, it makes the world go round

    • InRussetShadows

Only someone who sees the world through a racial lens thinks that Jews are represented by the Supreme Court justices. You are a closet racist and you've got that door cracked open. Go back to Stormfront, boy. We don't need you around here.

  • myohmy

I like some of Paul's ideas but he lost me when he said he didn't think the U.S. should care whether Iran gets nukes or not. And if he thinks muslims attack us because of our involvement in their "holy" lands he's really nuts. Muslims have been attacking "non believers" for 1,400 years. There was no USA nor ISrael when Mohammed wrote his manifesto called "Holy Quran" and ordered muslims to either convert the entire world by force or kill or enslave every "non believer" on earth. There is nothing holy about this evil, murderous cult. Ron Paul seems to not understand the motives of islam at all and to pretend any terrorist attacks on innocent civilians is justified or rational is pure lunacy on his part.

    • Alex

umm I just have a quick question, have you actually read the Quran? For that matter do you realize that Christians like you and me (I'm assuming here, if I'm wrong I apologize) have been declaring wars over Holy Lands for generations now as well, hell some people interpret the Bible as a reason to kill anyone that doesn't believe in God. I only wonder this because I have several Arab friends and have myself read the Quran (religious studies classes at college, read all the holy books, good read I must say) and I've never gotten the feeling that my friends are planning to kill me, nor was the Quran ordering anyone to kill anyone else.

    • jason

So why my friend are there more Jews in Iran in all of the middle east except Israel if Iran really wanted them all dead? Why did the Association of Tehrani Jews say in a statement, "We Iranian Jews condemn claims of the US State Department on Iranian religious minorities, announced that we are fully free to perform our religious duties and we feel no restriction on performing our religious rituals." Has it ever occured to you that Iran could not nuke Israel without destroying Palestinians as well, which is the very reason they are upset with the Israeli Regime.

  • Norm

No American soldier has ever been asked to fight for Israel or bleed for Israel or die for Israel. Ron Paul is a Jew hater like his pal, Pat Buchanan.

    • Asher

There is one good thing out of this exposure and millions of people will know Paul's stand on Israel now…Glad to know this.

    • Todd R.

      Americans, its time
Stand up for the country you love
      For your children…
We must take back this country

I argue all of Ron Paul's positions may be rationally defended from the position that they are what's best for our nation. We must do what's right for America if we are to save her.

    • BrooklynChick

Our attacks on Iraq and Afghanistan were for Israel. The plans to do so were hatched by Israel-first neo-cons in the Bush administration. Every single thing we do in the Middle East is for Israel. And now the psychotic neo-cons are trying to push us into war with Syria and Iran, while your IDF pussies spend their time beating up on little kids and pregnant women in the West Bank.

      • Daniel Greenfield

Yeah Afghanistan and Israel have long been at war…

      • UCSPanther

Bad news: The Iraq war actually did way more to help Iran than Israel.

With a hated enemy (Saddam Hussein) out of the way, the Iranians are now more free to flex their muscles and fill in the power vaccum.

  • Flipside

Greenfield, the neocons have lost their sneaky grip on the Republican Party. It’s just a shell of itself since the Wolfowitz coup. There is a left and a right populist backlash now. You and Israel are on the wrong side of it. None of your stale jokes and histrionics against Ron Paul are going to build you a Texas golem this election cycle.

    • HoR_Emperor

Thanks for showing your colors, hatemonger.

      • Alex

hatemonger……you say this to a guy that wants to get out of the middle east, out of issues that aren't ours to deal with, that seems more like peacemongering to me

  • Sam Geoghegan

All I can suggest is for people carelessly throwing around ani-Semetic rhetoric, to watch this:

Michael Scheuer's message is Ron Paul's message.

    • HoR_Emperor

      Scheuer is a nutcase.

    • Daniel Greenfield

And Michael Scheuer's message is Bin Laden's message

  • ziontruth

(Full disclosure: Israeli Jew and fanatical Zionist here.)

I think Ron Paul's ideas on fiscal policy are wonderful—much needed for America after four years of the crippling policies of Obamarx and his gang. Free market plus provision for national protectionism is a good notion.

I think sending troops abroad is not the way to go in our kind of war. The enemy troops are no longer the uniformed combatants of 70 years ago; they are now usually invader-immigrants. The occupations of Iraq and Afghanistan have been a waste of men, money and materials, especially as the American occupation has consented to new constitutions in those countries that enshrine the primacy of Islamic law—exactly the opposite of what should have been. Immediately after 9/11, the correct policy should have been, not to send a single soldier abroad, but to deport all the Muslims from home.

The above holds true for just about every free nation today. Israel, as well as the nation-states of Europe, is better off left alone to take care of its affairs, locally. There will be no Grand Alliance against the Marxist and Islamic threat—it's every nation for itself here.

But I do not trust Ron Paul. His blaming of 9/11 on American foreign policy rather than on Islamic imperialist aggression is an example of crooked thinking no less detrimental than Bush Jr.'s Iraq and Afghanistan adventures. I don't know if Ron Paul hates Israel or not, but I say, if he can blame American policy for 9/11, he's in the mindset required to attempt to appease the Muslims on the Jewish State's expense. And he wouldn't need the threat of withdrawing aid to Israel to do so—Eisenhower didn't need that lever when he forced Israel to evacuate the Sinai in 1956.

Bottom line: Beware of the Peter Principle; this man, a very good choice when it comes to America's fiscal policies, could be disastrous (and not just to Israel—the Europeans aren't any better off with appeasement of Islam) when it comes to foreign policy. America has already made the mistake of putting in the White House someone who's doubtfully fit to be a dogcatcher; it would be lamentable if this good fiscal thinker Ron Paul were placed in charge where his thinking isn't so good (pardon my understatement).

    • Alexander Gofen

      Well said, thank you.

    • Joe

How about in 1981 when Ron Paul was one of the few people to stick up for Israels right to defend itself?

You know, I really have nothing for or against Israel. I'm a huge fan of Judaism and if I were to be forced to choose a religion it would probably be that one(with the same interpretation as Jesus).

But it's articles like these, and the claims people make about Israel that are really starting to change my mind.

I must wonder what people must be thinking when they go all off the deep end on a topic like this, to the point of where they are putting another country on top of every other issue in this country.

Doesn't matter that Ron Paul stands up against the theft in this country via the Federal Reserve.

Doesn't matter he stands up for the things this country(America) is founded on.

And a huge list of other such things.

I'm told that I should ignore all these things, vote against them and vote for a different candidate because they say crazy things in support of Israel?

      No freaking way!

And if the topic of "Israel" is what stops that from happening, then that is the kind of stuff that will get me to not liking Israel. I don't hate Israel, don't really have much opinion on it. But if this is my exposure to Israel and those who support it – then you are heading in the wrong direction.

So keep on blaming freedom. And then when you find yourself with about as much support in the world as GWB and the neocons have today, I hope you guys think back on days like these and find out why.

Because when that country is being put ahead of my country – there will be problems. And that goes for Germany, France, Israel, Saudi Arabia, China or any other country.

If you can't respect my sovereignty, then don't expect me to respect yours.

I really hope it doesn't come to that, because again I'm a big fan of Judaism, and really enjoy things that are based on understanding over blind faith. But everyone has their limits.

  • Asher

Ron Paul is too old to be President. He is almost or is 83 years old. Glad that he has exposed himself as Anti-Israel, thats probably why he says just leave Iran alone. Well what person in their right mind would not do something about Iran's ability to gain Nukes when they could have stopped the progression towards Nuclear war? When you read the Koran Sura IX-Immunity, Medina verses it says When the sacred months are passed, kill those who join with other Gods wherever ye find them; sieze them and besiege them, and lay wait for them with every kind of ambush. If these crazy Arab countries, especially Iran get Nukes we are all toast. How stupid the politicians in Washington have been, and Romney says Islam is a Religion of Peace!

  • Jane Lane

I feel sorry for American Jews. They have to pay taxes to both Israel and America… then pay more in the synagogue.

    • Choi

      You're CRAZY!
Jewish-Americans do NOT pay taxes to Israel anymore than Irish-Americans pay taxes to "The Republic of Ireland".
And synogogue donations are NO DIFFERENT than the Sunday collection in Churches.
      You're either "misinformed" or a Jew-Hating liar.

    • aspacia

That is a choice if they attend synagogue, many do not. They do not pay any taxes to Israel.

  • The Dangler

Welfare Queens always say you hate them when you ask for accountability.

  • Ryan

Ron Paul is about ENDING foreign aid. To all countries.

Rick Perry is about STARTING OVER with foreign aid. He’ll still offer hand-outs to “friends” and “those that deserve it.”

Ron Paul will not pander, and Ron Paul will not give special treatment to any group. Liberty is for individuals. Rights are for individuals. Let Israel be Israel. Isn’t that what they want?

  • StephenD

How is it that the folks for Ron Paul predominately reveal their anti-Semitism and those not for him are considered liars and slanderers. Do you think you are helping his cause by spewing your Anti-Semitism and name calling? Do you think I will now vote for him because you hate Israel? Are you daft?!?
Frankly, it would seem we get far more FROM our relationship with Israel (As they are the only democracy and FRIEND in the entire M.E.) than we give. To suggest we can isolate America and be safe is ridiculously naïve. I disagree with Iraq and Afghanistan. That is not relevant. In most cases we should not be providing any support. I agree with that. But when our values of Personal Liberty and Individual Responsibility and Equality under a Constitution of Laws are shared, we ought to support that system. THAT is Israel.
BTW, I’m neither Israeli nor Jewish. I’m what you may call “pragmatic.”

    • Choi

"How is it that the folks for Ron Paul predominately reveal their anti-Semitism…"
      Because they ARE Anti-Semites!

    • azjeff1963

well if that were true how do explain all the AMERICAN tax payers AID to all those OTHER ME countries???????

    • Joe

Probably because your definition of what is antisemitism is so loose and ridiculous.

I hate to break it to you, but many people such as myself don't have a big opinion on the topic, and mostly think of Israel as just another country.

      • StephenD

"mostly think of Israel as just another country."

And therein lies your problem. Israel is our ONLY friend in the entire region.

Israel is the ONLY Democratic country in the entire region.

Israel is the ONLY country that celebrates Personal Liberty and Individual Responsibility under an Equality ensured through a Constitution of Laws.

I long for the day when it is “just another country.”

  • NotaBene

At least Ron Paul knows that waging endless war against half the world is a bad idea. The FPM gang and their pals haven’t caught on yet.

    • HoR_Emperor

Too bad for your argument that we're NOT waging "endless war" against "half the world."

      Grow up.

      • NotaBene

Have you ever been to this website before? War is their solution to everything.

  • Monfums

How many Americans have been killed by the Iranians?

Was it more than the number of Iranians on that passenger jet shot down by the US in the 80’s?

Remember when the Israelis attacked the USS liberty in the 60’s to bring US into that war?

Israel – with friends like them who needs enemies.

    • Choi

Just a sampling of Jihad attacks on the U.S.::
      USS COLE-1998
      TWA HIJACKING-mid-1980'S
      PAN AM FLT 103
      and COUNTLESS others

      • Alex

So let me get this straight, radical people, be it politically or religiously, kill people, well damn glad that mysteries been solved Choi, you really are a great detective, and before you go on and on about how anyone that disagrees with you or the US aiding Israel is anti-Jewish realize that theres a difference between radical Islam and basic Islam, just like theres a difference btw the Radical Jewish people that attacked the guards today over running the West Bank and your typical Jew, just like theres a difference between Christians that kill in the name of God and your typical Christian, radical anything is bad

        • HoR_Emperor

Oh look, a Ron Paul supporter who's an apologist for Islamic terror. What a surprise… not.

    • aspacia

Iran has supplied our enemies in Iraq and they have killed any number of our troops.

  • Stan

I've always had my suspicions about Ron Paul, but the evidence has been circumstantial. This article, these youtube videos, have been most instructive. I think Mr. Greenfield has proven beyond reasonable doubt that Ron Paul is a vile Jew-hater, practically a neo-Nazi. I am stunned that this is still not widely-known about him. This article deserves to be publicized widely.

  • Zev

    Lies, shameful Lies.

    • HoR_Emperor

      Really? Name one.

      • Joe

the fact you quote newsletters that have been long established to have not being written by him?

        • Daniel Greenfield

How was that established and based on what evidence?

  • Monfums

    For all those who quote the Koran in fear;

Have you read the old testament? Leviticus? It’s as bloody and violent if not more so.

I guess we should fear Jews too because of their crazy literature.

    • stern

and how many Jews lately have been running around killing everyone else (including other Jews they disagree with) and justifying it by quoting Leviticus?

  • Alex

You know my fellow humans, Christian, Islamic, Israeli, Atheists, whatever, why exactly do we paint each other as immoral or wrong, why do we argue over who threw the first stone in the ever evolving war of religions/beliefs, why don't we take a second and read the holy scripture of the other side, to better understand those we "hate", why do we have such hate for that which we don't understand, and finally why are we so sure our side is right.

    • Alex

Im a Christian, not the most devote, but I read the bible every now and then, along with the rest of the holy texts, and you wanna know something, I believe that people can believe whatever they want, practice whatever they want, and do just about whatever they want, nothing in my life has ever told me that my way of life is better than anyone else’s, I don't put myself on a marble pedestal and pretend like my interpretation of the bible is right and everyone else’s is wrong, because at the end of the day it's just that, my interpretation, there’s a lot of people on here right now spreading a lot of hate filled lies and then pretending that they are "holy" well I'll leave you with this my fellow religious "scholars" (I almost laughed myself to death as I typed that) Matthew 7:1 "Do not judge, or you too will be judged." and when you are judged, I sure as hell hope that your right or you might not get the verdict you were looking for.

On a side note Ron Paul 2012, because if nothing else he's a hell of a lot better than Obama, Newt, Perry, Romney, or anyone else on the table right now.

    • HoR_Emperor

There is no point in "understanding" someone who wants to kill you.

      • Alex

my roommates trying to kill me……..well damn, thanks for saving my life man, he was eyeing me with those eyes….you saved my life man, you know what, I'll go kill him to make sure he doesn't kill me first, that's the "true moral solution" right, you people make me sick, judging people that never did anything to hurt you, lumping them in the same catagory as criminals, by that logic all blacks are stealing your stuff, all Jews are greedy, all Christians are hitler, all Athiests are going to hell, all gays are trying to turn you gay, all Irish are in the IRA, all Italians are in the Mob, all Russians are commies, and so on and so forth.

    • Bob D

Good points. As a Christian and a believer in the new testament and the sermon on the mount, I think that the direction to us is clearer to us than to any Islamic, Israelis or Atheist. It is to be peacemakers and turn the other cheek. Yet looking at the TOTAL HISTORIC body count objectively, my people are the worst crusaders for hate and genocide on the planet.

  • Adan Rodriguez

Ah the foreign welfare queens surface to keep the nation on the road to bankrupcy and their pockets lined with treasure. You realize no one is going to believe this crap right? Or do you really think he is an extremist?

    • HoR_Emperor

Yes, I do. And it isn't "crap," it's truth, which you obviously have a problem with.

  • devinesara

This article is hardly unique in its criticisms. The fact of the matter is, there are many truths that go unspoken in our society. Ron Paul likes to air things out. When he does so, people freak out, because their own identity is so wrapped up in this accepted and encouraged version of reality. We need to start asking some tough and uncomfortable questions about "untouchable" subjects. We all claim to want sweeping change, but won't even go so far as to change our minds–about anything. As the voting public, change starts with us. If we do everything the same way each election cycle. . . well, here we are. Seek the truth, not the established narrative. This approach means no idea is too sacred to be investigated. The writer of this article strikes me as someone who has no desire to do this work. In this, too, he is hardly unique.

    • azjeff1963

  • Stephen_Brady

This thread will be fun. Ninety-three comments and counting …

    • ziontruth

Fun is the one thing this thread is totally devoid of. The subject of Ron Paul always brings all the neo-Nazi and Buchananite cockroaches out of the woodwork.

      • Stephen_Brady

That's why I call it fun. All of the cockroaches gather in one place, where they can be … euphemistically speaking, of course! … squashed!

  • joy52

myohmy good points. Never ceases to amaze me that Paul supporters get so worked up over a guy that does not have the numbers to climb any higher. He has a few good points, but when he said he would not stop Iran from going nuclear, he lost me–the Dems have that position, so why do we need Paul?

    • devinesara

Why not go find out. Or, do you really expect other people to do this work for you?

  • joe

anyone notice the title of this was changed from 'ron paul: not anti foreign aid, anti israel' to ron paul 'blame israel first'

  • Katharina

Ron Paul is a suspected Neo-Nazi – what else could explain his vile hatred of Israel and the Jew and willingness to appease the nuclear Iran? Many descendents of the Nazis escaped to the US after the war anyway! So not helping Israel amidst the threat of another Jewish Holocaust and wiping out Israel/the Jews completely by most evil nuclear Iran and now terrorist Islamic Nazi Muslim-Brotherhood (the founder was Hitler's adviser or collaborator) is because Ron Paul loves Israel sovereignty as claimed by his supporters? What a joke Ron Paul is!

    • devinesara

How much independent unbiased reading have you done on the subject of Ron Paul? Yet, you think you know something. Therein lies the joke.

PS: How fired up are you about the actual (not threatened) genocides currently taking place in Africa, equally fired up?

  • Rev. Roy Trepanier

Sitting up here in Canada and reading all these mainly foolish and ignorant comments posted here, it is no wonder the U.S. (which I have admired for years) is in the condition it is in. The goal of Communism is WORLD DOMINATION. The goal of Islamism is WORLD DOMINATION. A cursory reading of their beliefs and tenets as taught by their gods and gurus will make this obvious even to the simple minded.

    • Alexander Gofen

Thank you, you put it exactly right.

    • woodpile

I'm sitting up here in Canada also and I think fanatical nuts like Rev Roy and the rest of the fanatical religious zeolots all worked up about Ron Paul should immediately sign up with the U.S. Army and demand to be sent to the Afghanistan frontline so they can confront their demons head on. Interesting that Ron Paul gets more support from the U.S. military members than all other candidates combined! Are the military members that support Ron Paul Jew Haters also? American Jews like American Muslims should put the U.S. ahead of mideast countries or move to Canada so you can attend REV Roy's church.

  • Rev. Roy Trepanier

The U.S. is NOT to blame for the Moslem hatred of Freedom. Israel is NOT to blame for the Moslem hatred of Jews and Infidels. Their own systemic, barbaric and deadly hatred of ANYTHING not in line with their view of the world is to blame. "Give credit where credit is due and put blame where blame is due". This is very simple and basic instruction that a child can understand. And here is another one….."I will bless those that bless thee (Israel) and CURSE those that curse thee" .. history has proven this beyond any question. Have you spoken with an Ammonite lately ?? How about Moabite ?? A Jebusite ?? Maybe a Philistine ?? Do your homework on the enemies of Israel and you will find them all dead and buried in the dust of history while Israel is alive and vibrant, a powerhouse of industry and bastion of freedom in a land of Moslem "Disctatorships. Hmmmmm, maybe Scripture is right after all. Israel is the "apple of God's eye": make sure that you are on the right side. It's an eternal decision !!!
    Rev. Roy….<><

  • Joe

Articles like this, and people who push these kinds of things are the kinds of things which will lead to hatred of Israel.

I don't know how thinks it's a good idea to put Israel ahead of the US in politics, but it's incredibly stupid.

You are affecting people such as myself who generally don't have an opinion on Israel 1 way or the other extremely negatively.

This article is telling me, I should just deal with the bailouts and theft that is going on, and instead vote for a candidate who supports these things because they talk tough on Israel.

That I should just deal with the loss of liberty because the other candidate talks tough on Israel.

That I should pass up on the 1 honest politican I have seen in my life.

And I look at the policies and things. I see that in 1981 Ron Paul stuck up for Israel when nobody else did over their sovereignty. And then you try to convince me that Ron Paul is anti-Israel, or "Anti-semite", and I'm left sitting here feeling like someone is just throwing around the racism card.

So keep it up if you want to lose support for Israel. I'm just a voter, I don't give a crap if some guy wants to call me "Anti-Semite". And when you ask me one day why, I'm going to say because people put that foreign country above my own.

  • sod

Ron is right to some degree, Israle shouldn't give up the Gaza, the Sinai, the West Bank and should claim the other 4/5 of the original British mandate that meant for the Israel state.

It only proves that appeasement will only bring about more violence.

  • Don

Delusion is a disease. Even the Israeli Prime Minister agrees with Ron Paul. Why's nobody calling him anti-Jew? Ron Paul is correct. He is far more intelligent and courageious than any of the morons attacking him here. He's too intelligent for Americans to understand so they hat him. Classic.

Norm: when the U.S. military attacks Iran then they will be fighting and bleeding and dying for Israel. Idiot.

    • Daniel Greenfield

Actually they'll be fighting and bleeding and dying for Jimmy Carter, but I don't see any such thing happening anyway.

  • UCSPanther

Ron Paul cultists: A textbook example of a personality cult.

  • Jay

So, you believe you have the right to STEAL money from me to give to Israel and to unconstitutionally wage war in the midde east?

How would you fund this if not via theft through taxation?

Also, Ron Paul never blamed the American People for 9/11… he blamed our governments unconstiutional foreign policy. Damn, the author is a dumb ass.

    • Questions

Why doesn't Rep. Paul denounce our aid to Egypt, which since the 1978 Camp David accords has been in the same amounts as to Israel? The Congressman's silence is deafening.

      • Simon

What are you talking about? He denounces ALL foreign aid.

      • Joe

Yeah, he is against all foreign aid, not just to Israel.

In fact, we give more to the enemies of Israel than we do to Israel, so in that kind of manner, it would be a net gain for Israel.

    RON PAUL 2012!!!!

  • stern

Best argument for voting AGAINST Ron Paul? The anti-Semitic garbage spouted here by those who support him. If these are his base, that's all I need to know.

  • mike donovan

If crowds came after Jews to scapegoat things in the USA, only one candidate would have the courage to protect them – Ron Paul. The rest would turn on Jews as fast as they turned on Muslims for political advantage. Keep that in mind when you are trying to destroy him because he's not the pocket of the Israel lobby.

    • Daniel Greenfield

      Ron Paul already scapegoats Jews

      • Joe

Yeah right, would that include in 1981 when he was one of the few people who didn't condemn Israel for protecting itself by bombing nuclear sites in Iraq?

  • Reason&Truth

It's time for Ron Paul to start suing authors like this for slander – your article is dishonest and just NOT TRUE!

    Ron Paul 2012

  • Chad

Shill-man Journalism Fellow at the Freedom Center (I think that just about says it all). “an aggressive, national socialist state” (why does the author disagree?) “courageous fellow was exposing the … playground of the powerful” (why does the author disagree?) “Israeli lobby, which plays Congress like a cheap harmonica” (why does the author disagree?) “Jewish independence and Jewish self-reliance” (why does the author think these are terrible things?) … This entire article is rubbish. Propagandizing journalistic terrorism – for reactive minds. Understanding Ron Paul requires intelligent thought beyond reactive emotion. For example: A Terroristic Journalist will say “Ron Paul will legalize all drugs!” – this is enough to evoke fear in the simple minded. But Ron Paul demands the intelligence of a person that will question “Is this actually true, or does he leave it up to the powers of individual states? Do police/military kill more people in the War on Drugs, or do illegal drugs kill more people?”

These types of articles merely attempt to evoke fear in the mindless masses. They do not appeal to intelligent people, most of whom support Ron Paul.

  • WilliamJamesWard

Mention Ron Paul and vavoom off goes his troop of avenging spirits who will

    • Simon

So it would be better if everyone insulted Paul with no one defending him?
It's true they can try to be more respectful but it is normal to be angry when someone creates a smear article on their preferred candidate.

  • whitehunter

Ron Paul is a dangerous, deluded lunatic. His similarities to another nutcase–Lyndon LaRouche–are startling, right down to the foaming-at-the-mouth fanaticism, stark-raving-mad imaginings, and bald-faced lies of his followers, which would have fit nicely in the Jonestown cult of Jim Jones. Paul's crackpot ideas range from joining Barney Frank (uggh!) in demanding an immediate 25% cut in our defense budget, to his bizarre economic hallucinations, to his well-known Jew-hatred, to…you name just about any lunacy and chances are this crackpot advocates it. And like the zombies of the "Church" of "Scientology," Ron Paul's acolytes will defend his insanity to their last breath of sarcastic, threatening, mendacious venom.

    • Simon

Ah, and we're supposed to be the rude ones here. I will defend my positions if you asked for it, but I would not shove it down your throat. But you're free to do want and have the privacy and rights to do so. That's what I'm fighting for even if you disagree with my method of doing so.
So enjoy your Ron Paul bashing, while I politely convince other people to join the cause for Ron Paul. Guess which method is more successful.

America forced Israel out of Sinai twice…the first time under threats of violence (Eisenhower). Sinai was taken in just wars and could have provided Israel ten times as much in oil than America provided in financial aid. Furthermore for every dollar Israel has received in aid from America…enemies of Israel received ten dollars. After America interfered in Israeli policy for decades and weakened the country both economically and spiritually, to say now that we should just cut them off is like throwing someone off a ship after taking them out into the middle of the ocean, giving them a rowboat and saying "good luck."

    • Flipside

This thread is a huge disappointment. Okay, if you support Paul tell us why, and expect a response. The author, Greenberg, supports his claim with facts and most Paul supporters respond with vacuous ad hom attacks.

Fact: Paul is an isolationist, and whether we like it or not, we are in a global economy. Most any car we purchase has parts from many different countries.

We a still dependent on oil, and Israel is a vital ally to help us keep an eye on the vital economic commodity.

We sell military defense items to Israel and provide 3. billion in Federal aid; this aid is a very insignificant part of the GNP, and is miniscule compared to the amount of aid we provide world wide.

I must dress for work, but will return.

So Who's Afraid of the Israel Lobby?

Virtually everyone: Republican, Democrat-Conservative, Liberal. The fear factor is non-partisan, you might say, and palpable. The American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) brags that it is the most influential foreign policy lobbying organization on Capitol Hill, and has demonstrated that time and again-and not only on Capitol Hill.

    Loss of Liberty

  • Ghostwriter

Let's be honest here. Ron Paul is an isolationist who'd simply abandon Israel to her neighbors. It's just that simple.

Article: "The Israeli lobby, which plays Congress like a cheap harmonica.”

Disputed report: "Sharon reportedly yelled at Peres, saying "don't worry about American pressure, we the Jewish people control America."

"I lived as an Israeli citizen until I was 26 and everyone in Israel knew that the U.S. did as it was told. Why do you think the U.S. gives Israel over three billion dollars every year plus unlimited armaments? Because of the control they have over the U.S. they can get away with genocide and practice apartheid with impunity."

His views are not without merit … but of course, it is easy to understand why the group would be reluctant to let Paul speak. Censorship is natural for the censor … isn't it, Mr. Horowitz?

  • clew18gyber

Ron Paul is like a broken clock; even a broken clock is correct twice a day. He has some valid worries about debased currency and crooked deals between banks and government; on other matters, he is completely insane. His attitude towards Jews is reminiscent not only of Pat Buchanan, but also of Louis Farrakhan. You listen to them, and they SEEM to be sane, coherent, speaking in complete sentences, but then someone says the work "Jew" or "Israel", and they snap; their heads start spinning around on their shoulders.
Ron Paul's claim that people in other countries only hate America because of aggressive, nasty things we have done to them, is nonsense. It is a favorite argument of liberals. "If only America got its boot off the world's neck, everyone would be fine." What crap. The only thing we have ever done to other countries is to try to sell them Coca cola and other junk we make. Nobody forces them to buy it. America is the only country in history that had the opportunity to be a colonial power, and decided it didn't want to be one. Just because Ron Paul is not interested in history and facts, does not make them untrue or irrelevant. Stalin said "you may not be interested in history, but it is interested in you". There is a wooden ship in Boston harbor called the Constitution.
It's our oldest active duty navy vessel. The reason it exists, the reason the America HAS a navy, is that we Americans initially tried to peacefully coexist and trade with the rest of the world, but our merchant ships were attacked—by Muslims from North Africa. The Barbary pirates attacked us, captured our ships, slaughtered their crews and passengers, or sold them into slavery. So Jefferson and John Adams realized that in spite of their desire to "avoid foreign entanglements", we needed a navy, and we needed to fight back. History was "interested in us", unfortunately. It still is, unfortunately. It's just the way the world works. Someone should tell Ron Paul that. But he's mentally impenetrable. It's just the way he works.

Someone mentioned the ridiculous notion of repaying China with precious metals.

You never repay a nation with something of intrinsic value. You always pay them with fiar currency. The idea is that they spend this fiat in your economy. This is the only way to remain competetive with that nation.

Libertarians will never understand what a fiat currency is, and G-D forbid, if they ever take power, they will take us back to the stoneage with their precious metal currency.

Ron Paul will be a President who puts USA first. Stopping foreign aid is not anti Israel, it is just putting USA first. Everything else you say is just pro Israel propoganda.

Ron Paul is the best friend Israel and Jews have. He is not an opportunist like the rest of the GOP candidates (and Obama). He is not crawling in mud and kissing AIPAC in the rear part as all the others, in order to get Jewish vote and Jewish money.

On the other hand, he will not leave Israel alone even if the AIPAC influence should wane.

Remember: people who used to kiss your ass because they are afraid of you will bite you the moment you lose your power. It is very painful to have to demean oneself for money. Ron Paul doesn't do it.

  • Alex

I just don't see the anti -Israel sentiment in his philosophies, I think Ron understands the special relationship we have with Israel, but is also mindful that over meddling into Israels policies actually hampers Israel security, Perhaps that he follows the founders advice closely may reflect the illusion of being anti whatever, but there is a clear message our founders had about foreign entanglements that we should steer clear of, that's not being anti anything, that is just using common sense in my opinion.

Just passing through. A European surfing on his computer.
A few comments. Some of the bigotry and hatred I have read here from Paul-groupies were not just antisemitic but downright fascist. (everybody can google the definition of fascism).
At first a pretty scary thought that someone like Paul could become the next President. Then i resd the most recent Gallup poll. 12% of registered Republican voters support Paul. That was reassuring. After all, every country has some bigots and they have the right to be represented.

RonPaul is not running for the presidency of Israel. He can say anything he wants about it.
Israel has become and oppressive apartied and forgotten what the Nazis did becuase they now treat people the way Nazis treated them.

Photographic proof that Ron Paul is a racist!!!

The presstitute shills and the Neocons are going to pull out all of the stops against RP—now even comparing him to Kim Jong un in one article I just read— and they will come down on him with both feet. I don’t think I’ve ever seen the establishment MSM so scared in my lifetime; It’s because they have a vested interest in maintaining the status quo.

By the way, if you want to see some great pictures of Ron Paul acting like a racist, then check out the following link:

    Please spread these photos around!

Your wars in the Middle East. Go fight them yourself. They are no concern of the US. Go solve your own problems. No more blood and treasure for your endless little wars of hate.

The $3 billion a year “free gift” from the US to Israel should stop. So should the $12 billion a year gift to her “enemies”.

Zionism is founded on the principles of self-reliance and self-determination. Yet Israel has no shame in accepting this charity from the US. And it comes with strings attached – control over Israeli policy.

The other $12 billion? Attempted control over the governments of the mid-east.

No shame, no gain is apparently the Israeli policy in accepting these ‘gifts’.

When will Israel grow up and determine it’s own destiny without the influence of the US?

    Never, it seems.

  • Gary McAleer

If the world honored the Ten Commandments there would be no wars or locks on doors. The Constitution and Bill of Rights perfectly compliment the value of the Ten Commandments. The first four Commandments deal with our relationship with GOD and no one has the right to impose on another their version of obedience. But the last six Commandments deal with our safety with one another. Every crime the world over is due to their transgression. The moniker of Ron Paul is to restore the dignity of our forefather’s intent in those documents. And the only reason men historically have trampled them is because they despise the conscience calling for mutual liberty. Its always the childhood game of King of the Hill. As wild animals are tame when they’re young but grow up into fierce predators, so it is with men.

I just LOVE this guy,Daniel Greenfield. I am going to put you on my "speedial" prayer list! Go ahead and laugh, I think he cares about our country, and is working as hard as he can investigating the axis of evil, lol! I will post his articles, and encourage ALL my friends to post HIS articles in THEIR blogs. The Devil TREMBLES and says… OH NO! SHE IS ON HER KNEES, AGAIN!!!

  • SR-71

Ron PAUL seems to be in your wishes to be the Belzebub, whon should expell the Devil.

But that cannot happen, – equal what he promotes and promises on well done to different social groups.
Name or blame Obama "communist", "socialist" or other laughable blames or not, may be he is an krypto muslem
    — I dont like him very well, because he spread history distorting lies about arabs bad "colonial" (?) past and about so false called "boardes of 1976" in Cairo to be kindness to the muslems — b u t
Ron Paul, though he is not a fascist type man, he spread a nazi-islamist type of world sight , – can this be useful to stabilize the US ?!

    – Hitler also promises several national stabilizing solutions, before he started he true doubled in one solution : Order & cleansing by war and massmurder.
Ron Pauö must be a friend of Chavez and AchMadinedChat.

But if you interested in, I have a big solution for stabilazing the nation & the west :
Look after what Jeremy Rifkin published in 1980 "Entropie – a new world view" about fundamental energy saving problems by energy-physical rule instable and poor , – plus what declaires new basics for an positive view, also http://www.James_de_Meo , – know how what had been oppressed or ignored by the science and political right and left establishment over 50 years ! –
USA and Europe must be freed from oil and gas dependence and from despotic, in special islamic states and interrupt energy financing jihad !

  • SR-71

". . . . because he spread history distorting lies about arabs bad "colonial" (?) past, false comparisations with the Holocaust (!) and in anti-israeli manner about so false called "boarders of 1967" ( what really is the jordanian -islaeli armistise line from 1949 !) in Cairo to be kindness to the muslems — . . ."

It’s no longer a big secret that Mossad did 9/11 w/ the help of their zionist puppets in the white house. Even higher ups at the U.S.Army War college admit it. Anti- semitism is a natural & justified reaction to jew supremacy, domination & oppresion.Thank God Americans are waking up.

Dude, did you forget your meds today?

Please supply the names and ranks of these “Higher Ups.”
Surely since “everyone” knows about Mossad’s trick, you can tell us their names.

  • Not Paul

Ron Paul bought into everything that Osama Bin Laden said, literally, because it was Bin Laden and only Bin Laden who said what Paul parrots, that because we had an air base in Riyadh – which was built BY INVITATION from the Saudi goverment, whom Bin Laden also despised, he planned and executed the 1993 WTC bombing and the Sept. 11, 2001 WTC destruction.

Google "Umayyad Caliphate" and then Google "Ottoman Empire." Then visit the website,, and ask yourself, "What does the US or Israel have to do with what started in the 7th Century and is still going on now? That being the effort to spread Islam across the world and create another global caliphate ruled by Sha'ria law.

Over a 1,400 year period, Islamic empires existed thanks to the bloodiest conquests the world has ever known. Muslims occupied 3/4 of the known world by force, not by ideas, long before there was an America and long before there was the modern state of Israel.

What is going on now is no different than what took place in prior centuries. Islam is not just a religion but a total way of life, aka a totalitarian ideology, which never changed. What changed were the people. There were Muslim rulers who were tolerant, even kind, to Jews and Christians, and there were rulers who were more ruthless than anyone you can name.

The problem is that "radical Islam" is not "radical" to the people who ascribe to it. It is "mainstream Islam" to them, and they are right. Mainstream Islam, according to the Koran and the Hadiths, is not tolerant of other religions because Islam sees other religions as being false and a danger to Islam.

Look around the world at all of the conflicts today. Ask yourself, "What group of people are causing these conflicts and what is the driving force behind them?"

HINT: It is not Americans or Jews or Israelis. It is not Western imperialism or colonialism. The Crusades were DEFENSIVE wars and never would have existed if the Muslim Empire had not conquered Spain on its way to conquering all of Europe, as it had the rest of the world.

  • teflonron

    That’s all BS.

  • John D. Fiat

Paul is right, you dumb Jew! Israel has the Hexagram of Satan on their flag for crying out loud. What does that tell you? We need to get out of all Jew wars and put our soldiers on our borders to shoot the invading parasites. Parasites that the Jew are trying to ruin us with by Divide and Conquer. The Jews even admit to using them to poison and take over our populace.

  • daniel

Why is it we should pay and die for israel. They do what for us in return?

All we are doing is sticking our hands in a bee hive.

Focus on America!!!! Not Israel or Iran or Iraq or Pakistan or Libya, or georgia, or russia. Come on people time to do a 180

  • Anon

So is it a fair statement that if you are not a Zionist Semite then you must be anti-Semite? That seems to be the impression that I get from the zionists I have come across. All of the people that scream “anti-Semite” at the drop of a hat seem to have a very clear “anti-Gentile” view. Why do the Semitic people make their causes do divisive? Your hatred for any non-Jewish person is abundantly evident in the vitriolic rhetoric and propoganda you spew. The agenda in this article is very clear by the tone and libel you have chosen to use. This isn’t an article; it’s an opinion based rant! One that comes off as extremely racist in itself. Why don’t we all just put the name-calling aside and write informative unbiased articles instead of pandering propagandic rants?

  • daniel

Mah29001give it up its a lost argument.

I guess you want Israel to suckle on Americas tits forever.

Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.

Time to try somthing different. Let Israel spread its wings and fly on its own

    How’s that’s for empowering Israel.

  • Joe

That is exactly what Christianity use to do. In fact, they would burn non-christians in public as a means of spreading fear into people.

It has no doubt gotten much better thankfully for us over the years. But it just kind of goes to show that such actions aren't really religion itself, but rather the people involved as highlighted by the general difference in Christianity today and what it once was.

  • Flipside

I think you’re the dumb one, trying to vote for President of Israel in a US election.

  • Maxie

Hey dummy – grow up. I don't hate Jews I hate communism. Now see if you can figure it out. Hint: If you're a Jew and not a Communist then everything's cool.
