Teaching Your Child to be a Dictator’s Lackey

Pages: 1 2

Imagine your child’s school teaching him how wonderful dictatorships are by having him and his friends model their very own group of dictatorships as part of their education. Like so many other Orwellian nightmares in the American educational system, this one is very real and takes place through the Model UN program.

The Model UN program teaches American students that global government is better than national government and that the corrupt kleptocracy on Turtle Bay is the ideal state of mankind. Finally it trains them to put American presidents on trial for violating United Nations laws.

Twenty-two Model UN events are scheduled to take place in November alone and many more are set to follow month after month throughout the school year as the advocates of global government exploit the school system to indoctrinate a new generation in their roles as servants of the conclave of totalitarian regimes.

The Model UN program teaches students to act out roles as representatives of different UN nations, but its real goal is to teach them to reject American exceptionalism in favor of multilateralism by convincing them that countries vary in interests, not in character, and that the People’s Republic of China and Saudi Arabia are no different than the United States in their legitimacy or their form of government.

The great lie that the United Nations was built on is that the voices of all nations are equally valid, regardless if they are banana republics, brutal Islamic theocracies, Communist tyrannies or nations with free and open elections that offer human rights to all. The United Nations is a democracy, but it is a democracy of dictatorships.

The vast majority of the world’s population lives in the thrall of tyrannies and the Model UN program models the farce that this great collective of the oppressed is legitimately represented by the lackeys of tyrants who speak in their name under the United Nations flag. There are 26 full democracies to 55 authoritarian regimes with the latter outnumbering the former in population three to one. The average UN representative is not representing a people or a nation, he is there as the personal representative of an Assad, a Kim Jong Il or a Khaddafi.

The democracy of dictatorships is why global multilateralism does not work and can never work, but the Model UN program helps embed the lie that it can and should into the growing minds of the leaders of tomorrow.

“You may be playing a role, but you are also preparing for life,” UN Secretary General Ki Ban Moon said in an address to the students of a Los Angeles classroom, “You are acting as global citizens.”

Global citizenship under the auspices of the United Nations is incompatible with American citizenship. It violates the United States Oath of Allegiance which states, “I absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state, or sovereignty” and it sets aside the national sovereignty of the United States and its open system of government in favor of a closed global system ruled by foreign princes and potentates.

What is not taught to students at the Model UN is that while American, Canadian and Australian leaders can be changed through national elections, and they can then recall their representatives, the majority of the UN’s representatives answer to rulers who cannot be recalled or removed except through revolution, civil war or death. That makes the UN a closed system whose charade of democracy disguises its core undemocratic and unrepresentative nature. Instead students are tricked into admiring its oppressive edifice and acting out their parts in its global tyranny.

The most widespread UN Model program is conducted through the Global Classrooms program of the United Nations Association of the United States of America. The UNA-USA’s National Council is chaired by none other than former president, Jimmy Carter, who did more than any previous leader to undermine America’s national sovereignty.

Model UN is evil? Do you have a peanut allergy too?

    • Rifleman

Nope, just an allergy to dictatorship.

    • UCSPanther

For a Ron Paul zombie, you sure like to support a lot of meddlesome individuals and organizations IE George Soros.

      • http://www.contextflexed.com Flipside

        George Soros invented Model UN?

        • UCSPanther

No, you openly praised George Soros, and here you are praising the UN.

I though Ron Paul zombies hated Soros and the UN.

          Can't have it both ways.

          • http://www.contextflexed.com Flipside

I can have anything I want. In fact, I walked through a TSA blockade without submitting five days ago, took the arrest, and got it dismissed the same day. I get my freedom and my security my own way. I praise who I want, and I denigrate the shrews. You are a shrew.

          • UCSPanther

Well too bad, because one day, you are going to have to choose:

Either be a Libertarian or throw your lot in with the UN. It's that simple.

          • http://www.contextflexed.com Flipside

My “one days” are adding up. I have that appointment to knees before God at the apocalypse, that some dude made for me in 1998, and now this impending day to choose between being a libertarian and a federalist. I better buy a planner.

Men are evil, if UN is consisted by men (under disguise by different nations), then it's evil. If you don't think men are evil, you are deceived by your adversary. If you don't know that peanut allergy can kill, then apparently the 'Model UN Program' is not good for you since it makes peanut more deadly.

If this is ever going to be taught at a school where my kids go, they will be held out. Any program that teaches another government or organization before over it's own should NOT be taught in schools, public or otherwise. It borders on treason. As I have said before, if you do not like the US and its way of life, then find a country that suits you and move there. Schools should be teaching our children HOW to think, not WHAT to think!!

    • Adam

Wrong. Sitting it out will solve nothing, arm your children with facts and teach them to fire back. Have your kid read an article such as Mr. Greenfield's here, and make any argument presented at this blasphemous exercise echo these same facts.

This author kinda totally misrepresents MUN, I've been to a couple conferences and they generally are not saying dictatorships are equal to democracy. Usually the representatives of nations who have dictatorial leaders are kinda dicks and threaten other countries/ actually attack them. Think Khrushchev banging his shoe. Basically the point of representing a dictator is to be as big a dick as possible, not to say "wow these dictators are actually great"

  • Great White North

I participated in a Model UN this past May. Good Times. We spent the whole time threatening nuclear embargo on Iran and expelling Libyan diplomats.

Life on the Security Council is good.

PC multiculturalism and mass Muslim immigration to the West are part and parcel of this comprehensive push for one world governance. Which explains why Bush didn't ban and reverse mass Muslim immigration with all of its excess baggage post 9/11 and instead like a Dhimmicrat on steroids doubled the size, scope, and power of the federal government in the name of protecting the homeland from not jihadist attacks but from terrorist attacks to create a false sense of security so that the US could continue accommodating mass Muslim immigration with all of its excess baggage in order to eventually facilitate one world governance.

Indeed, I know it sounds Orwellian but I wouldn't be surprised, especially if Obama wins reelection, for the US to outlaw the criticizing of Islam. It certainly has already been forbidden within our federal government.

This one world governance nonsense also sort of explains why the Bush administration abandoned the Reagan defense policy of peace through strength and deterrence and transitioned instead to the Powell policy of you break it you own it defense policy, which is about as idiotic and moronic as it gets. They wanted to modernize the Islamic world in order to make the push for one world governance far easier, but indeed they inevitably failed miserably.

Imagine there's no talking. It's easy if you try. No words to help us, speak and you will die. Imagine there's no Freedom; no laws on our side. Nothing to live or die for, a life lived for a lie. Youooo may say I'm a dreamer….

More like a nightmare coming true.

I'm glad someone has exposed the evil that this extracurricular club brings upon our children. I'd also like to point out several other organizations who wish to corrupt our freedom-loving youth

    1. 4-H Club teaches agrarian communism.
    2. National Honor Society teaches elitist intellectual plutocracy.
    3. JROTC teaches Spartan militarism.
    4. Glee Club teaches deceptive propaganda.
    5. Key Club teaches anti-capitalist volunteerism.

    • StephenD

Yeah, because there just couldn't be any validity to what was presented. It MUST be from a "Lunatic Fringe" and have no merit. BTW, you forgot to mention the conspiracy of the clothing industry to uniform our kids who will march in lockstep thereafter. Isn't this how we all think?
We need folks like you to show us the obvious ridiculousness of any claim that the UN is not so good after all. And anyone who thinks so must be crazy.
Thanks for being there for us.

    • Adam

What's wrong with "Spartan militarism"??? You'll be glad some kids are learning it when our society breaks down.

    M., 10/31/11 common era

The U.N. wants a global registry of civilian firearms owners. The 2nd Amendment gets in the way of its plans for world domination. Contact both of your U.S. Senators to vote against the upcoming proposed treaty that would pave the way for such an Orwellian
data bank. Obama and Hillary Clinton are trying to do this under the radar; as liberty-loving Americans, we must not let them get away with it.

  • keoke888

That sounds just like my high school. Years later, after zero soul searching or self reflection, teachers still marvel how it was possible for me to get D's and F's while learning about how evil America is (history) and how much fun they had in India (sociology/geography) yett score over 95 percent on all the standardized tests. (Guest lectures included a known drug addict explaining how to absorb information through osmosis while staring at a page). There is nothing I can do about being an airhead, even by California standards, but thanks to this permanent vaccination, at least I can never be a leftist one.

Anything eminating from the U.N is suspect, it's a country club for Marxists, Eurocrats, cleptocrats, and tyrants of any flavor. Yet people who should know better are citing the fabricated news release of this cess pool "World's Population hits Seven Billion". You will notice that it's always followed by a U.N statement citing all the problems that need to be dealt with, which of course involves the developed countries funneling more money and more power to the U.N and it's corrupt agencies.

  • Oleg

What I want to know is how they arrived at these figures? Have they been peer reviewed or verified by a credible third party? I doubt whether half the countries in the U.N even bother taking a census or making any head counts since they are dictatorships that don't have elections. If nobody gets to vote anyhow there isn't any point in counting them.
By the fact that they said the population will hit "X" number at such a date tells be that they made it up. When it supposedly hit six billion they did the same thing, they cited "population growth in Africa" most of Africa is so backward and corrupt that I doubt whether most of those countries could even hold a head count between fighting out a civil war or looting the public treasury. In the case of Somalia there is no central government, just a loose network of Al Qaeda backed warlords and pirates.
