Obama Admin Lists Israel as a Terror Sponsor

The Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency (ICE) maintains a list of “specially designated countries” (SDCs) that “have shown a tendency to promote, produce or protect terrorist organizations or their members.” The folks from these nations get special scrutiny when they enter the U.S.

Here’s the list:

West Bank
Saudi Arabia
And so forth.

Israel? Yes Israel is one of the thirty-six SDCs that “promote, produce, or protect” terrorists, according to the Obama Administration. With splendid equality, they manage to list the world’s biggest victim alongside the globe’s leading perpetrators of terrorism. Israelis coming into America get the same high level of scrutiny that Iranians do!

This information, which comes to us courtesy of the wonderful website www.ruthfullyyours.com, is as shocking as it is credible.

That Obama has tried to maintain that there is a moral equilibrium between Israel and the aggressive Arabs that surround it is well known. But to list Israel as a promoter, protector, or producer of terrorism is quite extraordinary.

Doubtless some politically correct soul at ICE or in the State Department felt that the U.S. needed to show impartiality in making up its list and include non-Muslim countries. What better rebuttal to those who would claim that the ICE is profiling Muslims than to say that Israel is also on the list?

But Israel’s inclusion on the list, to say nothing of the indignity inflicted on its citizens as they seek to enter the United States, is an insult and must be corrected at once!

A document from the Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency dated May 2011 lists the Specially Designated Countries (SDCs) and can be seen on the Internet:

On page five, the document explains that the SDCs "have shown a tendency to promote, produce, or protect terrorist organizations or their members". Page eight lists the SDC countries.

According to the document, if an alien is arrested by ICE — for visa violations or for some other crime, if the alien is a national of one of the SDCs, ICE is required to check with other government agencies to see if the detainee is wanted by them for any other reason.
The document does not say anything about the SDC designation coming into play for aliens who have not been detained by ICE. So this may not be relevant for the average Israeli tourist or businessperson, as long as they don't violate the terms of their visa.

I'm reminded of the Russian international arms dealer, Viktor Bout, who was detained ly detained by the U.S. on charges of assisting terror organizations. Bout happens to have Israeli as well as Russian citizenship. I would think that this SCD business is related more to instances like that. If you know differently, I welcome your correction.

You see Obama is working at destroying the U.S. so we can't help Israel. Did you ever notice the Yellow curtain in back of the Presidential Podium. It is totally Middle Eastern and Islamic. His goals are those of the PLO, Hamas, and Hezbollah!

We need to ask people, "So why are societies who are run by Islam and Sharia still living in a state of poverty, malaise and unproductivity…What have they ever given back to mankind besides, death, destruction, tyranny, and despair….It is their atitude of hatred and anti-semetism that keeps them from happiness or any hope for the future." How desolate it must be to constantly try to destroy innocent people, especially the Jews which have contributed technologies, medicines, and productive ideas to the world, and to free peoples…….Islam is pathetic!

  • Dispozovdaburka

Without non-muslims, there would be no Islam.

    Islam would self-implode.

Islam only exists because it hates and blames others.

An ideology of hate can never sustain itself for long.

    trickyblain you ask:
“The “state sponsor” is pretty important, though. What do you mean by “credible numbers”? Zero? Five?”

So by this reasoning the US should list itself as well given that a number of terrorists have emerged to do damage in the US and abroad.

Wouldn't it be refreshing if the political correctness went away? Imagine a State Department that said to protesting Arab countries, "yeah we profile folks from your country, what of it? No, we don't check Israeli citizens because we've nothing to fear from them. They behave like civilized, freedom loving people instead of cave dwelling, 7th century reprobates." How I long for the day that the truth will prevail. Imagine if they could see, like little children, that to be treated well you must behave well.

I guess that the USA should be on the list too. We allow muslims to immigrate to this country, then we allow them to build shrines next to the 911 site. We allow muslims into the military. We allow CAIR to exist. We allow Dearborn Michigan to implement soft sharia law… We let code pink exist… We target 90 year old women and look the other way when a young middle east male boards a plane… on and on…

As much as I'd like to believe it, I don't think the Obama administration put Israel on this list because of Arab Israeli terrorists' attacks against Jews. There's a mind set – pretty much demonstrated by a few posts in this forum – in which Jews, in order to be acceptable, must be non-responsive victims. When we defend ourselves, we're no longer acceptable to this mind set. Every other nation in the world, every other people, has the right to defend themselves, but not the Jews – at least not as far as these folks are concerned. When Arabs cross into northern Israel and attack an apartment block, tossing a two-year-old down a three storey stairwell to her death (Kiryat Shmoneh), that's an act of "resistance," as is the cold blooded murder of a father and his two little girls, aged four and six, on a beach in Nahariya. It's also acceptable to these folks when Arabs invade a small religious community and slaughter a mother, a father, a three year old and a three month old baby in their beds, but if Israel arrests the perpetrators, that is, of course, an act of terror in their minds.

(cont'd) It's okay in their minds for kassam missiles to be lobbed into the the town of S'derot for eight solid years, aimed at private homes, schools and preschools, but if Israel goes into Gaza in an attempt to put an end to this, that's terrorism, as far as they're concerned. And this just barely scratches the surface of acts of terror perpetrated against Israeli civilians starting long before there were Israeli civilians, in fact, going back to 1929 and before.

How Americans, who suffered the attacks of 9/11 and have been privy to broadcasts of decapitations of other Americans can adopt this attitude completely boggles my mind. If these folks think that by supporting Arab terrorism, they'll be immune to it, my response is – that's what Nick Berg thought.

  • Morah

(conclusion) Having said all of this, I want to caution those folks who are justifiably outraged, as am I, by some of the anti-Israel, antiSemitic diatribe that has found its way into this forum not to reply in kind – indeed – not to REACT in kind. Yes, there are virulently bigotted, hateful, Islamic extremists, but there are also many, many peaceful, rational, normal Muslims in this world. It's possible to quote outlandish and bigotted statements from Muslim texts – particularly from the Hadiths, but it's also possible to quote passages which voice just the opposite.

    Comment 1
Why would that bother anyone. Not only is Israel guilty of 'State Sponsored Terrorism' it IS a State that produces Terrorism. "State terrorism may refer to acts of terrorism conducted by a state against a foreign state or people. Modern usage of the term generally refers to the targeting of civilians as part of a strategy directed against governments."

    • MixMChess

Israel has never intentionally targeted civilians, only Hamas and the Palestinian terrorists engage in that war crime. How can you defend the beheading of a sleeping 4-year old little girl? Is it ok because she's Jewish?

    Comment 2 – cont.
Now….does this not DEFINE Israel's 'expansonistic' agenda ?? I find it incredibly arrogant that whenever anyone, be it Pres. Obama or the local newspaper states the truth about Israel and it's actions Israel, or it's agents, go into what I call " gulliblity control". In other words they just assume the audience is so "gullible" they spin the story in such a manner as to #1…. make the author/spokeperson out as a "anti-semite"…or #2…. those who oppose are characterized as 'goose-stepping' "holocaust deniers". While, my friends, the world is awakening to your macheivellian tactics. Firstly Europe, then, gradually, the US and….who know….maybe sometime in the future, EVEN Canada — or at least the Prime Minister as I believe most Canadians are no longer fooled by your nonsensical rhetoric.

    • MixMChess

Israel is not an expansionist state. In fact, since 1979 its borders have been SHRINKING. Recall, Israel completely withdrew from Gaza in 2005, and settlements in the W. Bank exist on less than 2% of the land. Get a clue.

      • Jacjon

One of us should. What the hell is all the uproar of "expansion" of new housing development in the Gaza. Maybe you don't percieve them as illegal but the rest of the world does. You know I LOVE this site. I don't have to do anything to help my agruement that Israel is a whining, submervise, muderous, devious and blinded by anything that dares question theier authorirty, Which might not be so bad if you'd keep you nose in your own business.Your deemed "God given right" is somehow lost in the artilce published in the FRONTPAGEMAG. and throughtout the world. Your bitternaess and hate of ANYTHING not TOTALLY supportive of Israel is deeming a major crime. I am shocked, shocked but surprised…..I no longer need searh for info regarding your vileness… it's for.me and other throught the free world. And…"SPYING on it's GOOD FRIEND the USA has finally caugth Isn't that the REAL reason you are desperately trying ( in vain ) to find a soupsom of evidence against Barak Obama??
Your days are numbered, my hmmmmmm certainly not friends….but whatever word you will put in mouth. You're good at that.

I have to agree w/ the obama admin.
