Voices of Palestine: Ahmad Bahr

Pages: 1 2

Hamas’s deputy speaker also had some threatening words to say regarding the negotiations over the release of Gilad Shalit in exchange for 1000+ Palestinian prisoners. Ahmad Bahr called for Palestinian militants to seize more Israeli soldiers as leverage for future exchanges of Palestinians held in Israeli jails. “The popular, political, media and diplomatic efforts inside and outside can never be an alternative to the military efforts to rescue our prisoners from the oppressive occupation’s prisons,” Bahr declared in a press statement. “We should be tireless of making every possible effort to seize Zionist soldiers and exchange them through prisoners swap deals.”

Ahmad Bahr is a representative of the Hamas senior leadership, which is poised to join Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas’s Fatah party in a “unity” Palestinian government. His hateful incitement to violence is broadcast on television to Palestinians, who lap up his every word and are poised to act out his threats. Nevertheless, Richard Falk, the United Nations’ Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the Palestinian territories occupied since 1967, just delivered to the UN General Assembly his latest one-sided report attacking Israel as the obstacle to peace.

At Falk’s October 20th press briefing at UN headquarters, I asked him to comment both on Bahr’s televised call for “Jihad-waging Palestinian people” to “sweep” out the “siblings of apes and pigs” and his call for Hamas to kidnap more Israeli soldiers. After first saying that a critical look at Hamas’s abuses and responsibility for violence was not part of his “mandate,” Falk descended into the swamp of moral relativism. Without citing any specific evidence, he claimed that the same “irresponsible kind of talk” occurred in Israel’s Knesset “that makes very wild accusations.”

Ahmad Bahr, the deputy speaker of  Hamas’s Palestinian Legislative Council and possible leader in a future “unity” government, is an all too typical voice of Palestinian hatred and incitement to violence against Jews, broadcast on Hamas’s Al-Aqsa TV and via other propaganda media. Falk and his ilk at the United Nations are Bahr’s enablers.

I want new American leaders that will STOP giving tax-payer money to that stink hole (u.n.).

They're nothing but a bunch of murderous hypocrites. And anyone who defends them are the same. You can not sit at the table of murderers and sit at the table of Peace too.

I want new leaders that will take a righteous stand against that dark evil place. I believe in the power of prayer, so if you agree – pray too for them to be kicked out of America with no way to ever return.

I don't use the word hate. It's a dangerous word to use (considering the judgment) but this is exceptional – I hate them with a perfect hatred. And I'll admit to that fact at the judgment. I hate them.

As King David said of his enemies (a man after God's own heart):

Psa 139:24 I hate them with perfect hatred: I count them (bloody men) mine enemies.

And that is what that stink hole has become filled with – bloody men. So let it be public record – I don't agree with any of my tax dollars going to that hypocritical evil dark hole. To give them even a penny – is a sin.

I want new leaders that are actually Americans not, just by birthrights but by heart as well. I want new leaders who aren’t socialists who won’t turn my country into the laughable joke that’s become with all of the PC and liberally biased media. I want new leaders who are constitutionalists.

I can’t believe that we actually have a division in Washington now, that “constitutionalist” is actually a term. Really? Maybe I’m over simplyfying things alittle but tell me, Isn’t believing in the constitution a prequisite for serving in any office in Washington D.C.? Well, I thought it was with the oath they take…..”I will defend and uphold the constitution….” People really don’t understand how much power that precious document has, ALOT!!!!! All we have to do is enforce it and alot of this sewage goes away, both domestic and abroad.

      • Beth

"Maybe I'm over simplyfying things alittle"

        no, you're not

That's exactly what needs to be done – so don't stop

        You're posts are valuable.

Who Ahmad Bahr think he is? He is commanding allah to fill his personal will. He is an apostasy and an infidel. Let true muslines hunt him down and give glory to allah!

      Ollahuokbaromama

That's incitement sod – to do harm. But what else should anyone expect from a true muslim?

      • Beth

That is incitement sod – to cause bodily harm.

        Shame on you

Beth has a point. Aren't there existing laws that require one to cease and desist providing aid (including funding) to any organization that supports Terrorists as named by the State Department? Isn't HAMA one of those? Is the Fatah Government of the so called "Palestinians" supporting Hamas now with their "unity" agreement? Why and how is American Taxpayer money still going to Fatah? If they cast their lot in with Hamas, let Hamas support them. It not only is immoral for our money to continue to be used in this manner but I contend it is probably illegal as well.

    • Beth

StephenD – "Aren't there existing laws that require one to cease and desist providing aid (including funding) to any organization that supports Terrorists as named by the State Department? "

There are – but – where are the lawyers at?

My fondest wish is that perverts and creeps such as bahar receive ten times what they wish for their "enemies." hamas is the legally elected government of 1.6 million in gaza. This gives new meaning to the notion that people get the government they richly deserve. hamas could be the first freely elected regime in modern history that won on the platform of hatred and violence. And hamas has delivered on its promises. I'm wondering what part of the gaza GDP is funding from the un and our own Department of Treasury.

Ahmad Bahr is not alone. Although Turkey does not use similarly extreme language, it has apparently rejected Israel's offer to dig citizens out from under the post-earthquake rubble. Turkey assumes (correctly?) that its citizens would prefer to die of thirst under the buildings that collapsed on them rather than being rescued by (shudder!) Israelis.
When an earthquake struck Haiti, Israel was the first country to set up field hospitals. The news was underreported.
In 2005, after an earthquake struck Pakistan, Pakistan agree to accept help from Israel if it was sent through a third party. Pakistan was afraid Israel would get credit where credit was due.
Why should Ahmad Bahr be different?

I believe Israel has the right to adopt the attitude "if your allah is so great – let him save you"

But Israel is above that (i know – just sayin)

Turkey has changed its mind! It will accept Israeli aid after all.

To Mr Liar Richard Falk, if you cared about Palestinian children, you would condem Palestinian child abuse. Oooops, that dont fit your propaganda. http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/
Freed Terrorist Urges Children to be Martyrs
A failed suicide bomb terrorist, freed in the trade for Shalit, urges schoolchildren to succeed where she failed and become martyrs.

Isn't it time, Richard Falk condem Palestinian settler terrorism violence.
Heck, Falk cant even comdem the Palestinians when they massacre the Fogel family and behead a 3 month old Jewish baby. http://www.camera.org/index.asp?x_context=2&x
9 times more Jewish civilians have been murdered by Palestinians
in the West Bank than Palestinians murdered by Jews.

"To Mr Liar Richard Falk, if you cared about Palestinian children, you would condem Palestinian child abuse"

      Absolutely!

  • Dan Kelso

To see Abbas and Hamas celebrating with terrorists really made my understand who the real peace loving people are.
Then to see Palestinians Arabs urging renewed terror attacks and the butchering of Jews.
Indeed, when it comes to pure lust for Jewish blood, the Palestinians outshine virtually any competitors.
Note, Falk shows no concern for Jewish civilian rights, like going to a discotheque or pizza parlor and being blown up by the Pals she frets over. Or being able to go to school without worrying that a missile deliberately aimed at civilians will land on your school.
Falk seems to be silent on the Palestinians racist genocidal media calling for the killing of Jews and talking how Israel will be eliminated.
Here is the Palestinian media in their own words? http://www.palwatch.org

  • Dan Kelso

When it comes to the massacre of Kristen Luken by Palestinian Islamo Nazis, Falk is silent.

    M., 10/24/11 common era

Mideast strife isn't all Israel's fault, only about 99.998%. If the Jews over there will just behave themselves and give away yet more land, everything will be just dandy. Jihad really means flower power. Ghandi, Thoreau, and Emerson would have heartily approved of Sharia law. (Justice Kagan seems to. . . .)

One thing the Muslims possess in abundant quantity as compared to other faiths is faith. Out of faith comes another desirable quality: Patience. Israel has been beating them black and blue for the last 60 years, and yet, Muslims world over believe that one day Israel is going to tire, and one day it is going to fall.
It is too easy to laugh at Ahmad Bahr's statements, but the thing to notice is, his deep faith in his ideas. The recent events indicate that what he is talking is not sheer fantasy; it can actually happen.
Both USA and Israel have demonstrated signs of weakness. USA has been threatened by a country like Pakistan with its nukes. Iran has been threatening USA since decades. Israel has released over 1000 hardcore terrorists for one soldier; something it would not have done earlier. The new generation of Israelis has not suffered the holocaust, and no wonder some of them do not believe it actually happened. Left wingers in Israel are becoming stronger day by day, and this poses a serious threat for Israel's existence itself.
Ahmad Bahr may be a person of very low IQ, but he has deep faith, and is willing to fight a long battle; he seems to be having his way.

    • Beth

you have pointed out a very strong truth "has deep faith" of which the masses have yet to grasp – the power that is in it.

Nor have the 'powers' grasped how that ''''faith''''' can turn on it (the ''''powers''''').

I believe there are many (of those in power) who see it – and don't know what to do about it. Shame on them then. They shouldn't be sitting in the seats they're sitting in. The seats they're sitting in – requires a leader.

Don't forget Ahmad Bahr is a monster of Hitlerian proportions who wants to wipe out both Israel and the United States simply because we don't worship the same religion that he does. We need to wake up and start calling these people for what they are, bloodthirsty killers.

  • Brujo Blanco

Terrorist feed off weakness. Terrorists consider any conciliation n matter ho small to be a victory. Our problem is that our enemies have no rules but we do.

Our gov't isn't going to tell the truth about Islam so the job falls to us. The next election will tell much about the direction our gov't will continue to drift. Islam is a danger to freedom loving people every where. Yet, to be honest, when Muslim people have an opportunity to vote, they vote overwhelmingly for "historical Islam". We need men like Thomas Jefferson in the white house who will say enough is enough and send our military forces out to tell the Islamist to go to hell and if you touch one American it will be like throwing rocks at a hornet's nest. Islam wants concessions (and usually gets them) but makes no effort to be good Americans and to stand for what is right. Quite frankly, with the oath of allegiance that immigrants are supposed to take, it is impossible for Muslims to come to this country and become a citizen. Something is dreadfully wrong with allowing enemies into this country knowing they plot for our destruction. Look at the mess Minnesota has because of its immigration policies. The Islam that cries moderation is the same Islam that carried out the attacks on the Pentagon and World Trade Center. Do I advocate violence against American Muslims? No, but they should be held to the same standard as all other Americans. Can you imagine what would happen if a bunch of Presbyterians were carrying out terrorists attacks in NYC? Come on leaders, guide our nation. If not, we will replace you come election time
