Occupiers to Terrorize Bargain Shoppers

Pages: 1 2

Then there is the question of whether there will be leftist-initiated violence on Black Friday. It’s anyone guess. As John Nolte has documented Occupy supporters have defecated on police cars, committed rape, assault, arson, and hundreds of other crimes and acts of violence.

But it seems more likely that obnoxious and annoying occupiers, vastly outnumbered by enthusiastic shoppers, will more or less behave themselves.

Occupy Black Friday activists are probably more likely to be stampeded by bargain-hungry shoppers not interested in being lectured by anarchists and socialists.

The Left is hoping this new round of demonstrations will give birth to a new spinoff movement. According to Adbusters:

This year’s Black Friday will be the first campaign of the holiday season where we set the tone for a new type of holiday culminating with #OCCUPYXMAS. As the global protests of the 99% against corporate greed and casino capitalism continues, lets take the opportunity to hit the empire where it really hurts…the wallet.

On Nov 25/26th we escape the mayhem and unease of the biggest shopping day in North America and put the breaks on rabid consumerism for 24 hours. Flash mobs, consumer fasts, mall sit-ins, community events, credit card-ups, whirly-marts and jams, jams, jams! We don’t camp on the sidewalk for a reduced price tag on a flat screen TV or psycho-killer video game. Instead, we occupy the very paradigm that is fueling our eco, social and political decline.

Meanwhile, some Tea Party groups are organizing a counter-action called “BUYcott Black Friday,” encouraging consumers to spend money on Black Friday to promote economic growth.

“At a time when our economy is most fragile and ratings agencies are talking about another downgrade of the U.S. credit rating, it’s completely irresponsible for Occupy Wall Street to attempt to bring the U.S. economy to a halt on the busiest shopping day of the year,” said John Sullivan of Liberate Philadelphia/Liberate America.

So, let’s go shopping!

There's one more item to be thankful for on this Thanksgiving Day : the fact that we have Barack Obama as President of the United States (and as a viable candidate for re-election…..as opposed to the sorry set of rivals on the other side). Thank you Mr. President : your heart, your values, your basic decency.. are all in the right place. But… your hands are tied. Unfortunately they were tied by us, the electorate…..by not providing you with a Congress that you can work with. Instead you have a don’t-tax-the-1% Congress that instead battles you at every turn, while the people suffer.  God, they don't EVEN let you pass your own appointments. It's not Tea-publican gridlock- It's Tea-publican SABOTAGE. And then they try to pin the blame on Mr. Obama. These people have no shame…or else its been purchased by those who can afford to do so. Thankfully, Occupy Wall Street is part of an emerging grass-roots evolution that will help to both re-elect you Mr. President, and to give you a more progressive Congress. Therefore, on this Thanksgiving day,  I am thankful and grateful that you are the President Mr. Obama! And I wish you well. You STILL give me hope.

Another painfully typical post from the right wing.

I'm thankful that Obama will be a one term president.

      STANCHAZ :
Stupidity is not limited to Third World countries.
While visiting CARACAS, Venezuela, I saw a poster stating that CHAVEZ hasn't
done more for the country because he wasn't allowed to (probably to steal more)
and so are you, if you are so deaf and blind you can appreciate the situation
      OBAMA this country into…
But the more I read of people like you as authors of making him President, the
less I doubt he will be reelected
MAY GOD HAVE PITY ON THIS COUNTRY
      AMEN

    • beastdogs

Hay dumbass, it you can poke your head out of your ass and the delusional world liberals like you live in, maybe be you will remember that Obama and your precious democrats had almost 2 years of complete control over all three branches of government and their was nothing the Republicans could do to stop anything, any wet dream liberal policy could have been passed and rammed through. So if you want to look for any "Sabotage" you have fellow liberal democrats to thank. Obama will join Carter as a one term president and will go down in the history books as one the, if not the, worst president this country has ever had. Stanchaz you may now put you head back in your ass and go back to living in your delusional world.

      Right,

And how many vacations has he enjoyed on our dime? He is no leader, he is party president extraordinaire. Oh, and most of the House is Republican, not 1% similar to most of the country.

The protestors should protest this administration, not the businessess, for bailing out the chosen fat cats and targeted industries. How about GE not paying taxes. How about the billion+ Buffet owes in back taxes.

      You are a fool.

      • Herman Caintonette

GWB set the record for vacations in the Oval Office.

OWS is protesting the oligarchs and their handmaidens in Congress, who have stolen just about everything that isn't nailed down. Oligarchs buy Congressmen who, in return, write laws under the radar that benefit them specifically. It is not capitalism, but this form of reverse-fascist "crapitalism," which is at issue. Of course, you would never know this if all you watched was Faux and all you read was from the unhinged fringe at FPM.

      Not fair enough?

      • beastdogs

I agree RanScot, but you know as well as I do that the facts and the truth do not matter to the left, it only get in the way of their agenda. Also remember that 47% of Americans do not pay any federal income taxes. What does matter to the left is dividing everyone into groups: black, white, male, female, rich, poor and so on, the left then loves to pit these groups they created against each other, a major example is class warfare, the left thrives on class warfare. The end game the left is trying to drive this country to, is in their small minds: a socialist peoples paradise utopia, with of course themselves in charge. Again it does not matter to the left that theses so called socialist peoples paradise utopias regimes never worked in the past and have lead to 100+ million people murdered, millions more missing and/or imprisoned , these socialist regimes end up in economic flames, and eventually end up imploding in on themselves.

    • Ilene

Evidentally Americans are ignoring the OWS street people….and OWS is totally fizzling out….mainly because it has no jobs, no solutions, nothing to offer anyone….OWS is for losers angry that other people can afford TVs, cars, homes….people who have jobs, businesses, actually manufacture useful things and plant huge farms for the food we eat. OWS…be thankful for American prosperity….you dopey wankers!

      • Herman Caintonette

Again, you don't get OWS. The problem is encapsulated by the recent declaration that pizza is a vegetable: our oligarchs buy Congressmen, who write laws that will keep their oligarchs happy.

The notion that you clowns want to shutter the EPA is staggering.

  • beastdog

I normally do not shop on Black Friday because I am usually a last minute Christmas shopper, it is part of the fun of the Christmas season for me and I find a lot of great deals on the finial shopping days before Christmas. But because of these useless idiots of left and their moronic occupy antics, I will this year go out of my way to do a little Black Friday Shopping. I Hope while I am shopping I run into one of these occupier flash mobs, I fear nothing and will politely inform them of the 100+ million of people murdered under the socialist regimes they worship, it will be a fun time.

  • tkellybal

    You're making me laugh, stanchaz.

  • tkellybal

I've been thinking this for a while: These 'Occupy' people are going to get Republicans elected.

    • Herman Caintonette

Rather doubt that. We might actually have a serious national conversation this year, and unless Republicans abandon the economic abomination known as trickle-down, there may be a bloodbath.

There's a reason why Republicans are trying to steal the election by disenfranchising their opponents.

      • tompro97

The only vote stealing being done in this country is being done by the unions, ACORN, and their various, associated propaganda groups on the demagogues far left-wing. You are right about the bloodbath — only, it will be the demagogues' blood flowing.

        • Herman Caintonette

If every member of Congress were exterminated for their demagoguery, would the rest of us shed a tear? Interesting question.

          • Western Canadian

Distraction from the topic to mask his lack of substance. Typical of him.

          • Herman Caintonette

Zero evidence of vote-stealing on the Democratic side of the ledger, save for places like Chicago. Plenty of statistical evidence showing that the 2000 Presidential election was stolen — large and consistent deviations from exit polls.

      • Supreme_Galooty

ANY "serious national discussion" would not include you, and especially not those "occupy" imbeciles. You want a serious discussion? Quit being a gratuitous smart-ass.

Do what you want to do, don't touch anyone, but stand your ground and show that you are not going to be intimidated by thugs. We all have the right to Occupy as citizens, not just the radicals.

  • Linda

While we all pause for Thanksgiving, I too give thanks. I am Thankful that yesterday was one more day behind us towards the 2012 election. Thanksgiving 2012 CAN'T come fast enough to rid our country of the corrupt Ruling Class of Washington. If I could make a wish for my country, it would be for it's good citizens to stand shoulder to shoulder as our past elected officials are filed out of the buildings, straight into vans, then to jail. I would like to see them on trial for treason for the damage they have SELF created in my country. Surely there is a pretty little island somewhere in the world where they can all live out their remaining days while picking coconuts for dinner after bathing in salt water. Oh, one only has to dream of justice!!!

    • aspacia

Yes, they are all corrupt. Did you see the 60 Minutes special regarding insider trading is legal for our Congress.

      • Herman Caintonette

Both sides — Republican and Democrat. This is what OWS is fighting to change. All you want to do is blame one side … conveniently, the side that your masters in FAUX Spews and the Koch Klux Klan want you to blame.

        • aspacia

Not true, both are corrupt! The problem is see with the left is that they are totalitarian thieves who lack any sense of right and wrong, similar to you with the comment that Muslims have the right to murder Jewish children. You lack any sense of right or wrong and sway to relativism.

Capitalism simply works; Socialism nor Communist work. And avoid the excuses for their failures. You are big on excuses and it is tiresome for intelligent bloggers.

You just committed another ad hom fallacy. Stick to the claim.

Both are corrupt, and the insider trading must stop.

I have no master, only an employer.

Again, it is OW's (plural) are, not the singular is.

      …a coalition of spoiled children

    • tompro97

OWS is a foul group of undereducated, useless trolls who have never had to work or earn a real living who want something for nothing. Nor can I feel any empathy for other members of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce which has supported flooding the country with cheap third world labor, not even pausing at a time that Americans can no longer find jobs. The "profit motive," speaking broadly, means a man's incentive to work in order to gain something for himself — in economic terms, to make money. By objective standards, such a motive, being thoroughly just, is profoundly moral. Socialists used to speak of "production for use" as against "production for profit." What they meant and wanted was: "production by one man for the unearned use of another."

  • Vermont Yid

Speaking from the position of a 67 year old Jew, (which, of course, I am) I don't get why the "good" Christians are even buying any Christmas presents at all in the first place. Isn't this whole Christmas thing supposed to be a celebration of the birth of Jesus? Or, am I missing something here? If, in fact, you DO believe it's supposed to be a celebration of Jesus' birth, what the hell are you doing in stores, buying toys and stuff to lavish upon your friends and loved-ones, and spending so much money that many of you will be paying off your xmas shopping for the next year? If the birth of Jesus is so important to you, why not say phuck the presents and just go to church?

    • Soliel67

Hi. I say this as a spiritual person who doesn't need gifts for Christmas. Gifts add to a celebration. One can enjoy gifts AND the meaning of the holiday. Or another thought, just because one is buying gifts does not mean that person does not feel the spirituality of the season. It just means they want to provide a nice time for their children.

As I said before, I don't need gifts to be happy as I truly enjoy the spirit of the season. But sometimes they are fun and children especially like them. It's simply a part of the celebration that is all.

    • aspacia

It is symbolic of the Three Wise Men bringing presents to the Baby Jesus, just as the Menorah and the candles are symbolic of the miracle of the oil. Many Christians go to Church on Christmas Day to celebrate their redemption through Christ.

    • Herman Caintonette

It's a cynical theft of local pagan customs — Christianity is the Borg of world religion, ba$$$tardizing local festivals and transmuting them into their own. They even stole a god from you, transforming him into a repulsive Cerebrus.

The tale of the Magi (there is nothing in the Matthian account numbering the party) is a cynical attempt by the author of canonical Matthew (who could not have been a Jew — see Matt. 28:1 in the original koine) to sell Jesus as the second coming of Aushedar, thereby appealing to the Mithraic cults then endemic across the Roman Empire.

The Gospel biographies of Jesus were fabricated from whole cloth, as Christian scribes scoured Jewish writings for messianic prophecies. The reasoning they used is bassackwards: Because Jesus was the Messiah, he must have done or been X. Hence, you get absurd tales such as Jesus being born in a manger and the virgin birth (based on a translation error in the Septuagint). In all likelihood, Jesus was an Essene rabbi who, like Siddhartha (who detested graven images; there are more statues of the Buddha than any other icon on the planet), would retch at what has arisen in his name.

      • Western Canadian

Again, the superficial nature of this dolts ‘education’ is made obvious..

        • Herman Caintonette

How so, Canuck? The real Jesus was no more the god-man of the Gospels than ElRon Hubbard was the god-man of $cientologist biographies.

Our friends in the oversized IUDs are right on this one, Canuck.

        • intrcptr2

          No, not superficial, ignorantly repetitive.

Apparently "Herman" can recite his tales rather well, although it seems he can't read or think his way out of a wet paper bag.

He somehow generates a plethora of "Mithraic" cults out of just the one, and then conflates a Jew who claimed to be God, to the Jews, with a Hellenistic flavored astrology cult. Which of course his many professors at school demanded meant that nobody who lived back then could straighten out such a god-awful tale from fact or reality.
All of which utterly ignores the prevalence within Judaism of Messianism in the 1st Century, which itself derives directly from the TaNaKh in the first place.

It is all too amazing when supposedly educated folks throw out the only sources we have on Christ, and yet still try to identify him, and that as something positively opposed to what he himself is recorded as saying.

Matt 28 indicates nothing one way or another about the author's provenence.

And I am sorry to insult your education (No, I'm not actually), but the virgin prophecy in Isaiah is not mistranslated; a maiden IS a virgin, by definition in English as in Hebrew. Or rather why do we call the hymen a maidenhead? Or do you prefer to second-guess authors and their word choice, 2500 years after the fact, in a foreign language to boot?!
And anyhow, there is a second virgin birth prophecy which is not quoted in the NT; http://classic.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=J
with your encyclopaedic knowledge I'm sure you'll remember that this comes in the heart of Jeremiah's prophecy of the New Covenant, and God's reassurances that the Jews will eventually be returned to Israel (1967, thank you very much), never to be abandoned.
Suffice to say, Jesus was born of a virgin, NOT because other religions made the claim but because God decided that Israel needed yet another sign of His power and sovereignty over all flesh, and foretold it over 5 centuries before it happened (Not one other "virgin" birth had ever been foretold).

Yes, Western Canadian, most of this is in fact for our "friend"…

          • Herman Caintonette

int: "All of which utterly ignores the prevalence within Judaism of Messianism in the 1st Century"

They had the ancient equivalent of snake-handler cults and televangelists, but if messianism was prevalent, it appeared to have escaped Josephus' notice. Basically, when they weren't busy revolting against the Romans, the various factions of Judaism were fighting amongst themselves.

int: "Matt 28 indicates nothing one way or another about the author's provenence."

Read Matt. 28:1 in the original koine, if you can. As any observant Jew here can tell you, dawn is not late on the sabbath; plainly, the author of canonical Matthew was not Jewish.

int: "It is all too amazing when supposedly educated folks throw out the only sources we have on Christ, and yet still try to identify him, and that as something positively opposed to what he himself is recorded as saying."

As most independent scholars will tell you, those sources are notoriously unreliable. Paul never quoted Jesus in his Epistles, implying that there were no generally acknowledged sayings of Jesus at the time that he was active. The later Gospels copied and embellished Mark, adding what they needed to add to make it seem like Jesus predicted what was happening at the time of their writing. Cf., e.g., Mark 13:9(b) and Luke 21:12 with Matt. 24:9-10. Ironically, the vast number of mss. and fragments are what gives us the confidence to say this: We know what they wrote. Thus, the obvious contradictions were in the original mss.

Jesus is a failed prophet, in the sense that he is almost 2,000 years late. The Olivet Discourse is written in present-tense (see also, Matt. 16:27-28) — all the telltale signs were in place, but no Jesus.

int: "And I am sorry to insult your education (No, I'm not actually), but the virgin prophecy in Isaiah is not mistranslated;"

Have you ever read Isa. 7:14 in context? The Dead Sea Scrolls copy of Isaiah (ca. 100 BCE) refers to ha 'almah — the young woman or maiden, referring to a specific individual in King Ahaz's court. (If virginity were of paramount import, Isaiah would have used bethulah.) That wasn't a messianic prophecy; to their eternal credit, Jews have never been able to swallow the virgin birth nonsense.

Try to reconcile the Matthian and Lukan genealogies with 1 Chron. 3:17-20 — in short, you can't. Neither Abiud nor Rhesa were named, and if you try to use the old apologetic dodge that they were maternal and paternal lines, you are left with an even more daunting problem: Zerubbabel — the signet ring of the Lord — would have had to have fathered not one but two children by a sister, and that these children never made it into the Chronicles.

The best explanation for the evidence is that the canonical "biographies" of Jesus were fabricated from whole cloth, by writers who arrived at them by scouring Jewish holy books for prophecies. Their reasoning: "Jesus was the Messiah, so he must have _______ (fill in the blank). Problem is, they didn't compare notes, which is why the accounts contradict each other on a regular basis. By way of example, whereas Matthew's Jesus was showered with precious gifts, Luke's Mary didn't even have enough for a little lamb.

Sad fact is, most Christians don't even know their own holy book, much less, be able to speak with authority about Islam.

          • Herman Caintonette

            (continued from the previous post)

int: "He somehow generates a plethora of "Mithraic" cults out of just the one, and then conflates a Jew who claimed to be God, to the Jews, with a Hellenistic flavored astrology cult."

Here is an adequate precis on Mithraism: http://www.unrv.com/culture/mithras.php They were cults in Roman times, practicing in secrecy in much the same manner as the early Christian cults. But the notion of an observant Jew referring to himself as God incarnate defies all sensibility; Jews have two less gods than you, and Christianity is a heresy to devout Jews.

The Gospels themselves are primitive apologetic works, intended to prove that Jesus was what they were saying he was. Luke and Matthew tried to answer the objections left unaddressed in Mark. By way of example (the earliest versions of Mark end at vs. 16:8), Matthew tried to establish a chain of custody for Jesus' body — and of course, he failed miserably.

The OT has its share of failed prophecies, as well. Since we are on the subject of Jeremiah, how about Jer. 33:17-18?

"For this is what the LORD says: 'David will never fail to have a man to sit on the throne of the house of Israel, nor will the priests, who are Levites, ever fail to have a man to stand before me continually to offer burnt offerings, to burn grain offerings and to present sacrifices.'"

See also, 1 Ki. 13:1-3; Isa. 44:24-45:1, Isa. 52:1-3. The uncircumcised and defiled will not enter Jerusalem again … except, of course, for the Romans and Palestinians, for some 2,000 years. Another epic fail.

int: "(Not one other "virgin" birth had ever been foretold)."

The second coming of Aushedar had been foretold. We have no proof that Jesus was born of a virgin — only unsubstantiated declarations. Besides, it is possible for a woman to become pregnant without her maidenhead being broken (not nearly as much fun, tho).

            Wow, I am truly sorry; you are better programmed than even I had thought;

            Jer 33: 17-18??! Really?
You DO have trouble reading through your blackened lenses; here's a little context for you, this passage is talking about the Messiah's second coming; verse 16 clearly says "in those days", indicating some time yet to come. Oh, and verse 15 says the same thing, and verse 14. O, noes!! verse 12 says "shall be", likely meaning in Jeremiah's, no, scratch that, likely meaning in the future, rather like verse 10, and verse 7 (Did I miss one here, oh, yes, verse 8 is where Jeremiah practically puts words in Daniel's mouth; you know, the ones from Dan 9 about cleansing iniquity and all that rot that Jesus said he was here for, and why he got tacked onto a cross).

Trying to argue that Jeremiah is a failed prophet, because Israel has not had a king sitting on the throne since around 687BC, fails, because Jeremiah was not claiming this for any time other than a future one.

You might do better trying to say that Jeremiah was a charlatan because he wrote all this while simultaneously telling the Hebrews that Babylon was about to conquer the city.

          • Herman Caintonette

int: "Wow, I am truly sorry; you are better programmed than even I had thought"

…bellowed the cultist. ( I am delighted that you responded, and note for the record that you did not attempt to refute the other 90% of my observations.) With respect to Jeremiah, the evidence shows that it was written and/or rewritten by many, a fact acknowledged by Jewish scholars for over a century:

"Although it seems more plausible to suppose that the real prophecies of Jeremiah are contained in the versified portions, whereas in the prose utterances the thoughts of Jeremiah have been worked over, for the most part in the form of sermons, the question still arises whether one is justified in "ascribing, with the greatest detail, [the various parts of] writings which without doubt have passed through many hands before they received the form in which we know them, to their [respective] authors" (see Nöldeke in "Z. D. M. G." lvii. 412)"
            http://www.jewishencyclopedia.com/articles/8587-j

The puzzle of Jeremiah is a complex one. It appears to have been edited and even emended long after his death:

"[S]tudents may be interested to know that two different versions of the book of Jeremiah have survived from antiquity, the traditional Hebrew version known as the Masoretic Text (MT), and the Greek translation of the ancient Jewish community of Egypt known as the Septuagint (LXX). These versions contain striking discrepancies. The MT version of Jeremiah is approximately 13% longer than that of the LXX, and the ordering of material is strikingly different."
http://teachtorah.org/jeremiah/L01%20-%20Introduc… . Did the lying pen of scribes (v. 8:8) adulterate Jeremiah? The divergence of the two texts is problematic, especially in light of Jer. 8:8.

As a general rule, the Prophets predicted the past (when they were most likely written) with a high degree of accuracy (the error involving the Hittites was only discovered in the past century), but predictions of the future are even less accurate than those of Jeane Dixon. The best example of this is the Book(s) of Isaiah, where he gets the prophecies that could have been written at the time it was probably penned right down to the names of key participants, but missing the destruction of the Temple by the uncircumcised and defiled Romans — Caligula being especially famous for debauchery — and the failure of the Levites to perform their duties for two millenia is grievous.

If you claim that David Horowitz's views on the Left are more credible on account of his being a former Leftist, then it logically follows that my views on the ahistoricity of Christianity are lent further weight on account of my being a former Christian.

    • KathleenP

Because saying “Phuck the presents” and just going to church makes it just another boring old Sunday, Vermont. Christmas is a special time., a celebration of the second most important event in Christianity (the first being Easter, which is much more low-key).

And BTW, don’t the Jewish people have a tradition of giving gifts for 12 days at Chanukah? Christians have only ONE day to indulge their shameless materialism!

Really, I’d had enough of the kvetching, if you’ll pardon the Yiddish expression, of how “commercialized” Christmas has become. Anyone can opt out of it if they want to; there are no laws forcing people to buy Christmas presents. And the portion of their income the average American or Canadian spends on Christmas is a mere fraction of what much poorer people in India and China spend on weddings. Like a year’s salary, or more. Nobody forces them to do it either.

  • UCSPanther

I wanna see them try. Considering that Black Friday has a reputation of being rowdy even at the best of times, I wager that if they do, we will be treated to some epic battles between packs of smelly hippies and angry bargain-hunting shoppers.

    To Ghostwriter,

In response to my comment: "The 1% Occupier Haters, selfish and self-absorbed, continue their vicious war on the American people." You respond by insulting me regarding Gaddafi.

I have protested many times in my comments over the horrific atrocities and genocide of Blacks perpetrated by the anti-Gaddafi U.S. backed rebels which has been going on for MANY months. You will NOT silence me with your insults.

    BLACKS MUST HAVE HUMAN RIGHTS

    UK DAILY MAIL
7,000 held in Libya's new reign of fear and torture

UN raises concerns of torture and ill-treatment
Many held simply because they have darker skin

    By Tom Leonard
    24th November 2011

Thousands of people including women and children are being held illegally and tortured by rebels who helped oust Colonel Gaddafi, according to a UN report.

Around 7,000, many of them foreigners, are behind bars in private prisons and makeshift detention centres, beyond the control of the new Libyan government and without access to any legal redress.

The report by UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon will be embarrassing for Britain and other governments which supported the overthrow of the Gaddafi regime despite concerns about who would take power in their place.

As an example of the atrocities committed by the rebels, the report highlighted the town of Tawerga, whose inhabitants have been accused of siding with Gaddafi during the civil war.

The UN said Tawergas are ‘reported to have been targeted in revenge killings, or taken by armed men from their homes, checkpoints and hospitals and some allegedly later abused or executed in detention’.

The UN also warned that a vast arsenal of surface-to-air missiles, known as Manpads, had been accumulated in Libya, further worsening the security situation there. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2065570/7

  • Ghostwriter

I'm sorry for the insult Linda, but you have no business shedding any tears for Qaddafi. The man has murdered Americans. Not the least of which his intelligence agency committed the crime that was the bombing of Pan Am Flight 103. The families of the victims most likely feel the same way I do. Qaddafi deserved what he got.

    • Herman Caintonette

And yet, you wonder why the Palestinians feel the same way about the Zionist thieves that the victims of 103 felt about Gaddhafi?

    • LindaRivera

I never said I shed tears for Gaddafi! You lie! Why is it OK with you that anti-Gaddafi forces have for many months and continue to perpetrate, horrific atrocities and genocide of Blacks? INNOCENT BLACKS DO NOT DESERVE TO BE SAVAGELY MURDERED.

      • KathleenP

How about the genocide being committed against blacks in Sudan? And in the Congo (by other blacks)? That’s been happening for years; have you been getting your panties equally in a knot over that?

        • LindaRivera

I'm deeply distressed over the genocide in the Sudan. I have protested for years with signs in the street with other protestors. And also participated on a walk with former Black Sudanese slave, Simon Deng and others. I have posted comments on the genocide in Sudan many times on different websites. And posted in comments, youtube video.

Jihad Slavery in Sudan, with Dr Charles Jacobs http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NP4Fcx7AE_o

See many other videos on youtube re the Islamic slavery.

I have protested many times in comments about French military and UN troops, with very strong U.S. backing, waging war for Islam against Christian blacks in Ivory Coast, Africa. The French military and UN troops won the war for Islam and handed over the country to Muslims. 1,000 Black Christians were hacked to death or burnt alive by the new Muslim president's Islamic forces.

      • Ghostwriter

I've never said that it was okay! But you once wrote a post glorifying Gaddafi, painting him as this great man when my memories of him were not all that pleasant. He was a horrible man, plain and simple. He was a terrorist who murdered Americans. I don't see where he should get any sort of praise whatsoever.

        • LindaRivera

You twist things around. After reading comments by Brits on the UK Daily Mail, I looked on the internet for the information and pasted the article. The article said Gaddafi had done good things. I did NOT glorify Gaddafi or praise him. I merely copied the article. I did state that under Gaddafi, Blacks were safe. That Blacks were safe under Gaddafi is a true fact.

I also replied to you before where I gave you information that said there was a cover up – that Gaddafi was not responsible but PA Muslims were.

And as for murdering Americans; I have stated repeatedly that Al Qaeda murders our troops in Iraq and yet America supported Al-Qaeda and Hezbollah terrorists in Libya. I am horrified and deeply DISGUSTED that the terrorists who MURDER our troops in Iraq are supported by our government.

I find it most strange that you have NEVER protested that American military are murdered in Iraq by Al-Qaeda terrorists and that the Al-Qaeda terrorists in Libya are backed and supported by our government.

          • Ghostwriter

My feelings about Al-Qaeda are this, they are scum! The worst of the worst. I don't like them and they sooner they are destroyed the better. I guess I took a neutral stance towards Iraq but that doesn't mean I like Al-Qaeda. They are on the same level Gaddafi was, loathsome people whom don't deserve any sympathy especially from ME!!!!!!!! Period!!!!

OWS is a steaming pile of liberal and leftist delusions….the tent villagers are waiting for the gravy train (income distribution, massive welfare entitlements, free school, free medical care, free rent etc etc) to come rolling in their station. Well, they will wait forever because there is no gravy train. When Russia, China , North Korea, Romania went communist, the conditions for the average person became horrible…mass starvation, slave labor, gulags, oppression the OWS wing nuts could not even imagine. Yet they want the same old garbage…socialism, welfare and rewards for doing nothing.

  • BS77

OWS….do something useful…volunteer to help the disabled, plant a garden, get a job, go back to school…..living in tents waiting for the income redistribution gravy train to pull in….well, don't hold your breath!

  • Soliel67

I move in circles where some have big judgmental attitudes about shopping and that horrible thing, CAPITALISM! On my fB page there is one who is promoting the "buy nothing" mantra.

What I have to say to that is…let people have their fun. If they want to shop, let them. Who are we to judge if they have "too much" or are being materialistic and greedy. Sure, some are…maybe more than some, but let them learn their lessons, if there are lessons to be learned. Also, what about the children? Sure, it's easy to say "buy nothing" if you are single adult, but if you are a householder, the children need something for the holidays. That does not make it bad. Shopping in itself is not bad or evil.

I want to ask those people "why are you so against any pleasure or fun". I say if the fun and pleasure does not hurt anyone or any creature….enjoy! Just be in balance, don't go over the top.

Do we live in a Free America? The state of our REPUBLIC is in TOTAL jeopardy. We are being attacked on all sides—-Our Borders, need I say more? To Ghostwriter:

Practically every single day for months, I grieve and agonize over the terrible suffering of Blacks in Libya who for many months have been suffering horrific atrocities and genocide by the U.S. backed anti-Gadaffi forces. These blacks are INNOCENT human beings. You may not care about the suffering of INNOCENT Blacks, but our Merciful G-D does and he will punish the wicked perpetrators on the Day of Judgment.

I will also NEVER forget that with very strong U.S. backing, French military and UN troops went to WAR against Black Christians for the Muslims in Ivory Coast, Africa. UN troops and French military won the war for Islam and handed over the country to Muslims. The French handed over the Christian president and his family to the Muslims. The Muslims ripped out the hair of the Christian president's wife and triumphantly showed it to cheering Muslim crowds. The Islamic forces of the new Muslim president hacked to death or burnt alive 1,000 Christians.

I will NEVER forget that US/NATO took the side of the KLA Muslim terrorist organization. US/NATO waged ruthless war against Kosovo's Christian Serbs on the basis of a PHONY massacre US/NATO knew never took place – winning the war for Islam. This is how Kosovo's brave Christian Serbs were paid back. During the Second World War, Christian Serbs saved the lives of hundreds of US military and allies. An entire Serb village was horribly put to death because they refused to divulge the hiding place of the Americans.

When the CRASH OF 2014 hits, you'll understand why it doesn't help to join the throngs of pepper-sprayers at Wal-Mart buying useless stuff made in China that they can't afford. But after all, this is the world the neo-cons made: the race to the bottom sponsored by the union-busters results in the hordes converging in desperation to give the Wal-family another mansion to add to their collection. Clearly, the end of the world is in sight. Enjoy the long, painful slide.

If we have the highest corporate tax rates in the world, why is it that only 4% of government revenue comes from the corporate tax?

Most American business entities are LLCs and LLPs, which pay no corporate tax whatsoever. And God forbid that a laborer should ever earn a living wage.
