He’s Back: Islam’s ‘Public Enemy #1′

Pages: 1 2

Father Zakaria Botros, also known as Islam’s “Public Enemy #1,” is back.

From around 2005-2010, this 76 year-old Coptic priest was Islam’s bane. Appearing weekly on Arabic satellite, where he was viewed by an estimated 60 million people worldwide, mostly Muslims, he meticulously exposed any number of theological problems with Islam—all from Islam’s own books—while simultaneously evangelizing from his own book, the Bible.

His mission “is to attack Islam, not to attack Muslims but to save them because they are deceived. As I love Muslims, I hate Islam.”

And he has been effective: Mass conversions to Christianity, open and clandestine, have resulted. Indeed, years back al-Jazeera aired a segment complaining about Fr. Zakaria’s “unprecedented evangelical raid” on the Muslim world; similarly, one Sheikh Ahmad al-Qatani lamented that as many as six million Muslims annually “apostatize” to Christianity.

Unsurprisingly, Fr. Zakaria’s exploits caused al-Qaeda to proclaim him “one of the most wanted infidels in the world,” putting a $60 million bounty on his head; undeterred, the priest kept going, his viewers and converts multiplying by the week.

Then, in May 2010, after a particularly graphic episode on Muhammad, his shows inexplicably stopped airing. His enemies exulted. Muslim leaders, preachers, and sheikhs appeared on TV, gleefully announcing that Allah had silenced the great enemy of Islam.

Yet, over a year after his many foes—external and internal, Muslim and non-Muslim—have managed to stifle him, Fr. Zakaria is back on satellite, now with his own station Fady TV (Redeemer TV), “a channel for those searching for the truth.”

Though other Islam-critics and evangelists have appeared on Arabic satellite since, many with a good following, it is clear that people have not forgotten the priest, the original trailblazer of open and honest talk on Islam—the original scourge of Islam.

Watching the first episode of his new show, “Knowledge of the Truth,” was like witnessing a reunion between a lost flock and its spiritual shepherd. Viewer after viewer—Christians and Muslims, much more of the latter—called in to express how much they had sorely missed the evangelist, and how happy they were to see him again, some in tears, others in joyous laughter.

And while their words were full of sincere and enthusiastic praise—many insisted that he is a living saint, others a modern day St. Paul—it was only when an elderly-sounding woman asserted that everyone must support Fr. Zakaria, not for his sake, but for the sake of his work liberating Muslims from bondage, that the normally stoic Zakaria broke down in tears.

Why is Fr. Zakaria so loved—and hated? For starters, as a native Arabic-speaker, he takes his message straight to the heart of the Islamic world; as a man of God, he takes his message straight to the heart of Muslims—something the Western approach cannot achieve.

You see, while Western critics are limited to making secular arguments against specific aspects of Islam—for instance, that it is illiberal, intolerant, sexist—he makes spiritual arguments against the very foundations of the religion.

Now HERE is real cause for real Hope, for much misery is visited upon this world by those benighted practitioners of that abysmal religion. May Father Zakaria's days be blessed.

May Father Zakaria's days be blessed!

Yet in our life time the number of worshippers of the pedophile prophet in the world would hardly go down significantly.

Whichever it is in the world, in our home we must not love Moslems, nor must we welcome them here for comfortable life.

Wake up America: Rid of Islam until it is not too late. Until the goal of the "dear leader" to make America islamic nation has not achieved.

I praise God he has been raised up for such a time as this.

I think we can send money via his website. There's a link in the article, or somehow there must be a way.

  • DogWithoutSlippers

Raymond, Keep it up! Fr. Botros Keep it up!

Any person standing against Satan's and his religion, their religion and disciples need our prayers.

This is EXACTLY what Hillary should have been made to read/listen to BEFORE she pretends to speak on our behalf to the OIC (in another article here you'll find how she is claiming a victory for freedom of speech all while telling people to "shame" those that say things offensive to religious beliefs.).
You gotta LOVE these articles that give hope for those oppressed by this filthy belief system. We need more and so much more.

  • AntiSharia

This is a very brave man, I wish him the best.

  • Sound&Fury

The West should take a lesson from this man, and refused to be intimidated by Muslims.

Thank the Lord God of Israel for a voice of Truth and Reason in this sick and failing world of multi-culti political correctness.

I ask God to help and protect Z. Boutros in the name of Jesus Christ.

  • Ben

This Christian warrior with Islam must be supported in today`s mood of the Churches, particularly ME churches to appease Islam by throwing "Zionists" under the bus( sacrifice reminding of Munich).

Remember, God works in mysterious ways, Father Botros is a Powerful Man with a huge influence against Islam.

  • Amused

The "ring of truth " is recognized by sincere hearts .Botros speaks it and the people hear .

I wish there was a way to view Fr. Zakaria's talks in English (and other languages). His spiritual approach on the evils of islam would be effective to Christians and people of other faiths here as well. The secular arguments against islam don't move everybody here either. Even though I don't speak Arabic myself, I am glad Fr. Zakaria is out there, because he is right, muslims are the victims of the deciever.

  • IceStar

Brightest blessings on Fr. Zakaria. His open honest assessments and evaluations are refreshing. I hope he lives a very long life and never stops his ministry.

As Satan brings his war of perdition into The Church, SO GOD BRINGS HIS WAR OF SALVATION into Satan's kingdom.

GOD BLESS Mr. Ibrahim And Fr. Botros !

  • skulldiggerin

Fr. Botros' approach with Muslims reminds me of a discussion
I had with a classmate while in college.

We were arguing about the origin of the Conscience that is in each of us,
telling us about good and evil.
Is Conscience something our own and under our control,
or is It Put inside us By A Higher Authority ?

My friend's contention was that good and evil are relative, and that what we call
our conscience is in fact a set of values determined by birth, education and
    cultural surroundings.

For instance, if we are born in a culture of ritual cannibalism and murder, then
our conscience will reproach us for not killing and eating our human neighbours.
Or consider the people who sacrificed their children to their gods : their conscience
will tell them that it is evil to deprive the gods of their ration of innocent blood.

This is not at all facetious as Himmler's personal physician, Dr. Felix Kersten,
told us how Himmler was extremely depressed when he didn't met his quota
of slaughtered Jews he promised 'dolf.

Being at the time an agnostic myself, I hadn't any answer to his arguments.
The Muslim is born in a culture whose values he was smothered with right
    in the cradle.
When confronted with our so-called "Western secular values", he was less
than impressed by our Freedom which he sees only as License for immorality.
And unfortunately, he is not far from being right.

That his profet was a hyperlibidinous child-molester, rapist, liar, hypocrite and
mass murderer doesn't deter him from what he considers to be his moral superiority.

He has only the utmost contempt for the Western CHRISTians whom he sees
as falling well-short of what they themselves profess.

(A Muslim's view of CHRISTians then is no different from a CHRISTian's view of
Satanists, with the reserve that the CHRISTian doesn't want to kill them
but leaves them FOR GOD TO JUDGE)

So mass-killing them poses no case of conscience for him : he considers it to
be his sacred duty since his profet taught him so.

However, with the CHRISTians of his own race, he has some doubts for he knows
them to be good people and cannot in his soul and conscience bring himself to purge
    them so casually.

But the hate-filled sermons of his imam remind him of his Koranic duties,
and convince him that all this CHRISTian Goodness is only a facade to fool and
    corrupt the good Muslims.

Besides there's also this matter of the 72-virgin paradisiac reward, and the
prophet-Imam-sanctioned license to turn all CHRISTian women into sex-slaves
as a foretaste of the heavenly bordello to come.

Not many men will resist such a prospect, with such a moral anchor.
What Fr. Botros does is to appeal to the Muslim's Human Conscience
Which Is PUT Inside our soul BY GOD HIMSELF When Adam fell.

And being a man Sanctified BY GOD To Be HIS VOICE To the Muslims,
he has genuine love for a people he wants to snatch away from
    the "liar-murderer from the beginning''.

Which explains his Success, that causes the murderous rage of the desperate
Imams who have only death to offer to their believers.

(Our Conscience Is Nothing Less Than GOD'S VOICE In us.
Unfortunately IT IS A VOICE we can silence to our perdition)

Although in interfaith meetings, Muslims will deceitfully claim they have the same god that we do, they insist correctly in Muslim countries that Allah is a DIFFERENT god than the G-D of Jews and Christians.

As that is the case, Muslims MUST explain to the world why they claim to have the same prophets that we do when their god is a DIFFERENT god. Obviously a different god cannot have the same prophets!

I hope that wonderful and brave Father Zakaria can bring up this extremely important issue!

  • LindaRivera

And as Muslims in Muslim countries insist correctly that their god is not the same G-D as ours, then it is impossible for Muslims to claim that their religion came from Judaism, then from Christianity and that Islam is the last and final religion. THAT IS NOT POSSIBLE BECAUSE THEY HAVE A DIFFERENT god! Therefore, Islam CANNOT come from the Bible as they claim!

  • LindaRivera

It is also not possible for Islam to come from the Bible as the Koran teaches the exact opposite of what the Bible teaches. As an example, the Bible gives the death sentence for kidnapping. Islamic teaching say that kidnapping is good. In the Bible, G-D commands:

The Koran teaches to murder non-Muslims.

  • WilliamJamesWard

Islam's god is the Moon god and they worship the Moon while leftists are lunatics
and compatible with Islam worshiping themselves just as effectively. However
the God of father Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is the true God worshiped by
the Jew and Christian. There can be no moral relativity with Islam and it leaves
it's followers lost and away from moral conscience and truth………..

Leftists are cheesy and Islamists, well you know green cheese, food for moonbats.

  • Supreme_Galooty

Heh, heh. Green cheese, indeed. The Moon God, Almighty Luna! One would hope, being monotheistic, that Jews and Christians revere the same God as Hindus and Buddhists. This is not as much of a stretch as one might imagine. The One, having existed before all Creation and without reference to any human senses, cannot be described by humans. Consequently humans have to KNOW God through other means than the five senses.

Ranking the worlds religions in reference to the Chakras, I would rank Islam as one of the only to reside in the area of the first and second Chakras – the anus and the sexual organs. While this observation is over simplification, it is accurate enough.

    • skulldiggerin

      Correct, not politically though.
