Code Pink’s Egyptian Agenda

Pages: 1 2

Code Pink also solicited participation in this year’s Hamas-aid trip on its own web-site and, happily for Evans and Benjamin, the situation in Cairo boiled over just as the pink crew happened to be in the neighborhood travelling to Gaza. Code Pink agitator Tighe Barry admitted in a recorded phone call that he has been actively participating in the protests and might not be able to get to Gaza after all. Coincidence? You be the judge.

Meanwhile, the true reality of what is happening in Egypt is ominously sobering. The upheaval presents a perfect opportunity to Islamists to gain another foothold of power in the Middle East and to inflict a shattering blow to American and Israeli security interests. Code Pink and their allies understand this very well.

What happens to the average Egyptian once the Muslim Brotherhood flexes its fundamentalist muscle is not of interest to the Left — the same way that how Iranians suffered after Khomeini took over in Iran did not and does not interest the Left. What does interest the Left is giving the Muslim Brotherhood a seat at the table of governance, which has now become a real possibility with the approval given for it by the President of the United States. And there can be little doubt as to how this drama will end: Obama’s “pre-condition” for including the Muslim Brotherhood in talks – that they renounce terrorism and embrace democracy – is simply meaningless. It’s as meaningless an assurance as the one that President Hindenburg wrested out of a newly-elected Chancellor by the name of Adolf Hitler in 1933.

Hatred of Israel and the United States, and the perception that Mubarak somehow does the bidding of each, is as least as big a factor in driving Egyptians to the streets as is their vague notion of freedom. Pictures of Mubarak with a Star of David drawn onto his forehead abound in Cairo, but the mainstream media carefully avoids that sort of imagery, since it would be inconsistent with the narrative that Code Pink and its allies want us to believe: that this “spontaneous” people’s revolt will lead to a more harmonious, peaceful and free society in Egypt. But the evidence is irrefutable: groups like the April 6th Movement, Mohamed ElBaradei’s National Association for Change and many others are committed to Islamic-led genocide of Jews and to the establishment of totalitarian theocracies.

George Soros is on board with the program of supporting the Muslim Brotherhood course, saying: “I am, as a general rule, wary of revolutions. But in the case of Egypt, I see a good chance of success.” And what’s the biggest obstacle to success in George’s world? “The main stumbling block is Israel,” he wrote in a Op-Ed published in the Washington Post. Soros acknowledges that the Muslim Brotherhood would be the most potent political force in a wide-open, post-Mubarak world, but he doesn’t see any problem there either: “The Muslim Brotherhood’s cooperation with Mohamed ElBaradei, the Nobel laureate who is seeking to run for president, is a hopeful sign that it intends to play a constructive role in a democratic political system.” The flip side of that statement, that Mohamed ElBaradei’s cooperation with the Muslim Brotherhood confirms that ElBaradei is actually a very dangerous radical trying to hide in moderate clothing, unsurprisingly doesn’t trouble Soros.

As Frontpage Mag editor Jamie Glazov described in his book, United in Hate: The Left’s Romance with Tyranny and Terror, the Left’s anger directed at the nations and societies that nurtured them makes for some bizarre bedfellows. The Left’s fascination with murderous tyrants has seen tens of millions of innocent people die and hundreds of millions more living in misery. Code Pink and its allies are playing the same kind of role that the Left played in enabling dictators like Stalin, Mao and Ho Chi Minh. And they’re doing it for the same reasons: they believe that America and the Jewish people are the real enemies. They don’t really care about what will happen to ordinary Egyptians when the fanatics take over, and they won’t lift any more of a finger to help them than they have to help the oppressed populace in Iran, Cuba, North Korea or other nations ruled by anti-American tyrants. Once the Muslim Brotherhood is in control of Egypt, it will be time for the Left to find their next ally to help erode America’s power and to put Israel under greater siege.

"Flood the White House with Emails Stop the Violence, Mubarak Must Go
The people of Egypt have called today — the Day of Departure. They have been clear: President Mubarak must go. The orchestrated attacks that continue on peaceful protestors, journalists and international observers have exposed the true brutality of the Mubarak dictatorship. Mubarak has no credibility as a leader or as an ally. Mubarak must leave immediately or risk pushing Egypt into further chaos.
Flood the White House with calls and emails insisting that President Obama:
Urge Mr. Mubarak to RESIGN TODAY and that he call for an end to all attacks on the Egyptian people and journalists.

A SERIOUS EXAMINATION needs to be taken on the role of the COMMUNIST PARTY USA and their support, solidarity, and funding and aiding of terrorist groups THROUGH FRONTS LIKE "UNITED FOR PEACE AND JUSTICE" AND CODE PINK! Google: "Code Pink $600,000 Fallujah." Right before our US soldiers had to begin the assault on Fallujah, Code Pink proudly gave aid to its residents, BUT WHO GOT THE AID AND WAS ANY AID USED TO BUY THE BULLETS, AND ARMS, THAT KILLED OUR SOLDIERS THERE AND ELSE WHERE? If that's not TREASON, I don't know what is! GOOGLE: CPUSA SOLIDARITY WITH IRAQ COMMUNIST PARTY (ICP). Is ICP aiding in the insurgency since they also call us the "invaders?" YOU BET THEY ARE which means our CPUSA is also in support/solidarity with a group that is KILLING OUR SOLDIERS! THEY ARE IN SOLIDARITY WITH TERRORIST GROUPS, INSURGENCIES, AND NOW EGYPTIAN JIHAD AND MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD!!!

David Horowitz wrote a great book about this relationship, Unholy Alliance: The American Left and Radical Islam.

It seems the Communists and the Islamists operate on the principle of The Enemy of My Enemy is My friend. Since both seek world domination, if each is successful, I wonder how the championship match will turn out?

Do you remember the Tudeh? That was the Iranian Communist Party. It had been one of the key factors in the ouster of the Shah and the rise of Khomeini to power. In the course of the 1980s, Khomeini liquidated the party by executing Tudeh members in the thousands.

The Soviet Union, in the meantime, reciprocated in Afghanistan, as well as in its own Muslim-majority SSRs.

Left/Islam like Sunni/Shia within Islam are ready to lay aside their differences for defeating the hated West; otherwise, a kruelty kompetition kommences.

You know ayers and co. didn't travel all the way to Egypt just to cause trouble in Gaza. I think this revolt is a planned and coordinated event, and the American commies are involved.

Code pink and the rest of the American left had a regime friendly response to the Iranian uprising. If mubarak was hostile to the US and Israel they would for him too.

"They don’t really care about what will happen to ordinary Egyptians".

    That says it best.

There is a great danger to Industrial and democratic nations, coming from the Islamic world, which we are now experiencing as an outcome of the Revolution in Egypt.

In purely economic terms, there are highly vulnerable chokepoints for oil transportation to the industrial world including the Suez Canal, the Gate of Tears off Yemen and the Strait of Hormuz off Iran. 3.3 million barrels of oil move daily through the Gate of Tears and the Suez Canal, to feed the needs of the Industrial Nations such as Europe. 17 million barrels of oil are shipped daily through the Strait of Hormuz, which supplies major Industrial Nations such as Japan and India.

President Obama, who clearly has Muslim and leftist leanings, continually attempts to interfere with development of the Canadian oil sands and offshore drilling to prevent any ability for the Industrial Nations to have a viable solution to Arab oil.

  • SeaMystic

The aim of Islam is have a world Caliphate and to subjugate the Infidels.  For economic reasons alone,  there must be total War against Islam which seeks to strangle our economies, keep us at their mercy for oil for industrial strength and undermine our defences.  Iran is moving toward gaining supremacy of the Saudi oil fields by financing attacks from Yemen.  They know that to control this commodity provides them with the power to control the region (especially when coupled with their nuclear might) and ultimately, control the needs of the industrial and democratic nations of the world.
