Gamblers must pay for the loss resulted from their bets. Democrats and the lefts are gambling this country's economy with their socialist ideology, when it fails (it certainly will with many examples already exist), other people pick up the bill. But it should be no more, they should be responsible for their failed policy with their personal properties, be it direct or indirect. Just like the gamblers are responsible for their loss.

Ironic that the conservatives are now defending the non-profit sector, because the wealthiest are threatened with lower deductions! The statement: "the top 2 percent of income earners also produce over 30 percent of U.S. consumer spending, with the top 5 percent accounting for 40 percent of it." tells how dire our countries economic health is in, yet the author can only defend catering to the super rich since they have the pot of gold. Current economic rules that favor the super rich and lead to unprecedented concentration of wealth and income distribution are what's killing the middle class the economic vitality of our country! Conservatives have screamed against higher marginal tax rates so the alternative is deduction caps - but now its clear that status quo will make any argument to avoid a more balanced economy.

Wow...you explained the "Mess" so clearly. Past Realtor...Sorry about the interest deduction going away. It was a definite benefit for new home buyers. Charities and churches do so much where government fails. Sorry about this elimination too. Very well written entire document that explained it very comprehensively. Thank you.
