David Horowitz Discusses Persecution of Anti-Islam Filmmaker with Fox News’ Megyn Kelly

David Horowitz was one of the founders of the New Left in the 1960s and an editor of its largest magazine, Ramparts. He is the author, with Peter Collier, of three best selling dynastic biographies: The Rockefellers: An American Dynasty (1976); The Kennedys: An American Dream (1984); and The Fords: An American Epic (1987). Looking back in anger at their days in the New Left, he and Collier wrote Destructive Generation (1989), a chronicle of their second thoughts about the 60s that has been compared to Whittaker Chambers’ Witness and other classic works documenting a break from totalitarianism. Horowitz examined this subject more closely in Radical Son (1996), a memoir tracing his odyssey from “red-diaper baby” to conservative activist that George Gilder described as “the first great autobiography of his generation.” He is author of the newly published book The Great Betrayal (Regnery 2014), which is a chronicle of the Democrats treachery in the war on terror before 9/11 to the death of Osama bin Laden.

Megan did not want to talk about Huma Abedin and her connections to Muslim Brotherhood.

In my opinion,if obama has his way she will very soon . I am sure that Obama and his party of eight evil doers will face their makers as will I at some time. He fails to remember that WE the People are his employers

    • davarino

Yes, shame on you Megan for defending Huma so forcefully. There is no question she is a mole for the muslim brotherhood

      • Conservadiva

Shame on Megan. She disrespected David Horowitz, and cut off his right of FREE SPEECH to talk about Huma Abedin. It is a fact that Huma has current and active ties to the Muslim Brotherhood.

        • objectivefactsmatter

" She disrespected David Horowitz, and cut off his right of FREE SPEECH"

His speech is protected, but he doesn't have a right to insist on who, when or how it is broadcasted. His rights were not violated.

She is on the other hand, a hack who didn't look at the evidence against Huma or the MB, and just cited the liberal MSM dogma, "there is a real question about that." No, not really. Walid Shoebat nailed her, and the MB, not to mention the Saudi royal family. They ARE conspiring to destroy the West and all non-Muslims who refuse to submit to Sharia.

    • dmw

"And isn’t it interesting that since 9/11 so few “liberals” or “progressives” in that media (and elsewhere for that matter) evince a serious interest in Islam? It’s hard to find one who knows much substantive about it. Few even know what taqiyya or dhimmi law are. I have had many blank stares from otherwise intelligent people when asking even rudimentary questions.

I think the reason for this is a convenient and largely deliberate ignorance. Liberals know if they scratch the surface of Islam all the misogyny and homophobia will come pouring out, not to mention the tenets of Sharia with its attendant superiority of religious law to state law and the consequent abolition of the separation of church and state — all values and goals supposedly anathema to the liberal mind. Trying to reconcile those things with the policies of their hero-president would make their heads explode, so better not to know about them."

–Roger Simon in Pajamas Media in 9-19-2012 piece, Will Dinesh D’Souza Save the World from Obama?

    • MotherGoose

I finally got around to watching this and it's a perfect example why I don't watch FOX news (which is a Saudi interest). Megan would rather think of Huma as the poor woman whose husband "tweeted his meat" rather than as the Muslim Brotherhood threat she represents. Disgusting.

  • Schlomotion

David Horowitz is hilariously off base. Nakoula Nakoula, the persecuted! The man who originally released this film under the alias Sam Bacile, which is really a cover for not only him, but for Steve Klein, Morris Sadek, and Joseph Nasralla Abdelmasih, duped actors into making this film. It's not his "free speech." It's a con with many, many victims. Not only that, but Sadek and Abdelmasih cross-promote with Raymond Ibrahim, Pamela Geller and Robert Spencer, so there is tangential involvement here. This doesn't even fly under the radar as odious but free speech. Mr. Nakoula misled his actors and committed fraud and then denied publishing the work. It's identity theft. Free speech would have been if he had published his own views with his own face and his own name or at least with a team of actors who gave informed consent. No informed consent? There's the Nazism.

That is entirely separate from the ridiculous and obnoxious response coming from the Muslim world, and the murdered ambassador. Those aren't justified either, but in the words of Salman Rushdie to Matt Lauer, Nakoula knew what he was doing and what he was getting himself into.

    • Fred

Nothing wrong with using an alias, nor is it any kind of crime. Given Muslim reaction to any criticism of their non-prophet, using an alias is a wise precaution. Given the reaction of the Muslim worked they show themselves to be ignorant savages with no moral values. But then Mohammad didn't have any moral values either and he is their perfect man…. Thanks David for standing up for freedom against the savages. And more needs to be brought to light about Huma Abedin as a mole for the Muslim Brotherhood.

      • Schlomotion

There is absolutely something wrong with passing checks using an alias and using an alias with your acting troupe so that they can't properly identify you. You are confusing nom de plume with alias.

        • reader

I don't consider your posts "free speech." They're sick, offensive, pretentious, bigoted, incoherent and illogical at the same time. Arrest the troll!

        • davarino

So you have to register with the government now before you can voice your opinion? Thats not free speech.

        • Kufar Dawg

Duh, he's already been punished for check kiting. Despite the fact he is a convicted criminal he still retains the right to exercise his constitutional right to free speech Ahmed Al Taqiyya.

        • Tabby

Too bad he didn't break any laws & it's a matter between the actors & himself. If they're not happy they can take him to court. It remains a private issue. Using an alias is common for published works in America. There's no conflict with it being his free speech & the argument you so poorly attempt to make is nothing more than idiocy. His constitutional rights are still protected.
Free speech no matter what it is or who it offends is still free speech. And it's a fact that the Muslim Brotherhood's rise to fame was due to their setting up the Nazi death camps. It's a historical fact you cannot ignore. Also a fact that Hitler's biography remains the #2 best seller in the Muslim world.
Turning the phrase on the opposition ala Alinsky style is a pathetic tactic used by those on the left in which you're projecting the truth about yourself onto the opposition. All it does is make you look stupid to even the least informed among us.
Those whom you accuse him of 'cross promoting' with are American heros exposing the malignant cancer upon the planet that is Islam & they are appreciated for it by many who love our country. Why shouldn't voices with a common cause "cross promote"? The message gets much further that way.
Speaking out against Islam with the liberal media trolls & various promotional front groups of the Muslim brotherhood is not an easy job, but these patriots take it on, even when it means they get numerous fatwas on their heads for it.
Thank God we have such patriots still willing to stand up to bullies even at the cost of their lives & speak against the evil filth that is Islam!

    • 11bravo

You are offbase too my friend. Who cares if fraud was committed making the film? Actors duped and all the rest means nothing in the context of the position that our own government is apologizing because one of its citizens practiced a right the United States government officials took an oath to defend.
We all need to OUT this suppremicist cult. Have you read the koran? I could have done a better job, it is an absolutely ridiculous book/ideology/cult etc… It only takes a weekend to read-you will be amazed that 1.5 billion people could be so stupid. Of course most were forced, so I try to have some compassion for their individual humanity. More peope just need to READ THE DAMN THING! iT WILL ALL BECOME CLEAR IF YOU DO.

    • Whosthatman

It seems obvious that Nakoula was not the honest and forthright person he never claimed to be. It is still legal to be an idiot in America. I viewed a bit of it and it was stupid, SNL would have done better… I have seen tags that said it cost 5 mil to make??? I personally feel their are a lot clearer voices, some which you name, and while I have my convictions on the true nature of the world, it is without question that Islam deserves no sanction for their violent acts. When the victim becomes the perpetrator, and he is crucified by his inept ability to make a statement, then the very foundation of freedom we claim is eroded. Nationally there is no place for America to to have a voice other than to defend free speech. But as individuals we are free to share our ideas and should not be judged by the government, but the people who are in your audience.

The killing of the ambassador was a planned attack, the film would not have even made the news if it weren't a tactical effort of al Qaeda. Islamist will use anything to promote terror, this guy is a victim of his own foolishness, but to America he should at worst be our foolish brother less we shoot our own foot off in the process.

In regards to Nakoula, if he has violated law, he will be held accountable, but we can't throw the baby out with the bath water.

    • midnighteye

I'm afraid that you are completely missing the point that the film is totally irrelevant. I don't care who made it or what it said, it has a right to say it and if anyone rules it out that these world wide protests are an international Muslim conspiracy to further the agenda of criticising religion which is already well under way at the United Nations, THAT will be what is hilariously off base. This is not a time for nit-picking, our most fundamental right which protects all others is under concerted orchestrated international attack, and that is what we must be aware of, not focussing on minor discrepancies that only assist the enemy. Yes, the enemy.

It's a shame that they didn't teach you Robert's Rules of Order in that religious school you went to. Typically, if you are not being addressed, it is customary for you to excuse yourself and then insert some highly important and relevant information once you have been recognized as having the floor.

Otherwise, one might infer that you have no investment in the conversation and suffer from some form of Tourettes. I am surprised that you learned no morality or manners in a Christian school. That is shameful.

You're nutz. Nakoula, Bacile, or whatever his name, did not murder anyone with his exercise of free speech, however much it offended Muslims. We now need to return the compliment in spades — kill those, many of them, who are responsible.

    • Ghostwriter

Let me explain it to you like this,Schlomind. You may not like his speech but he had a perfect right to say it. The Muslim World has no right to ask that he be censored for his opinion. Please look up the First Amendment. It's on Mr. Nakoula's side.

If I don't agree that Rushdie is a credible source for making such a statement (who would be the most biased person in the world on such a question?) then I am supposedly not supporting his rights of free speech. This is about as stupid as a troll can get. It's reducing an argument to dichotomies:

"Do you or do you not support Salman Rushdie in every possible way no matter what he says?"

            Um, not without discernment.

"Well then, you must not believe in constitutionally protected speech."

Wrong. I believe in the position, not in blind support of any person.

I know I feed the trolls some times, but keeping them around as examples tends to keep new ones from starting in when these new trawlers see how the crowd treats them.

Thank you David. You speak for me, you express the passion, the indignation, the fury and sadness of all who share and care for American sacred liberties and her spirit feel. We are living a tragedy but still hope.

    • KayAZ12

We still hope but must not be afraid to speak the truth. They’ve had an affinity for Nazism since the 1930’s when Persia was renamed Iran (which means Land of the Aryans). Many of their leaders have read Mein Kampf, are (or were) infatuated with Hitler, deny the Holocaust, and are outright anti-Semitic (as it relates to Jews). But in our PC world this is glossed over (as Megan Kelly did). We can’t speak, let alone confront, the truth. It’s either uncomfortable or just too hard to deal with. They may be holocaust deniers but we’re becoming deniers of who our enemies truly are and what they believe.

      • Tabby

They operated the death camps in Germany. The Quran details the very first holocaust brought about by their false prophet.
Their religion consists of only a few main objectives in this order… -Subjugate a population under Sharia law….Kill the Jews…. Kill the Christians….. Kill the other "infidels" (aka non Muslims)…. Kill each other. That pretty much wraps up the duty to the practicing Muslim in short.

      • objectivefactsmatter

Anyone claiming to be collectively victimized by White Europeans are automatically converted in to a protected class, and all of the culpability of their faults are transferred collectively back to the White Europeans.

As an individual member of the White European class, you can only hope to avoid criticism by constantly reminding the guilty class about their sins, and glossing over the evidence that would normally indict the "victim" classes. Ever been to San Francisco or Berkeley?

Those are the rules of today's European cultures, including the former colonies.

He was NOT arrested, and he was NOT questioned about the film's content. He was questioned about the conditions of his parole, for a half hour, and released. He is free. • zionit

David Horowitz said what was important – what Muslim 'protesters' and their non-muslim supporters have been doing is abominable, upside down inside out criminal – and its mind blowing to think that the most innocuous of it all is a three year old holding up a sign calling for chopping a human beings head off, or po-faced women with a sign of a Christian Coptic Father in a toilet bowl. The inversion of narrative truth has gone way passed perverse. We need to regain our ability to take offense at murderously offensive enemies – and yes we do have enemies – in case you missed it, they're the people wanting to behead us – the mobs in Lybia et al – and those hiding behind the habeaus corpus in the West while trying to take that very right and others away

    • RevolveNews

It's liberal politics at its worst! This administration wants to deflect blame from themselves to win the election. They must regulate our speech to satisfy our enemies. Yes, blame the Christians, blame the Jews. Blame the film maker instead of taking responsibility and adjusting policies accordingly. Obama attends star-studded fundraisers while our embassies are attacked and Muslim mobs riot. Obama's sad-sack followers will vote for him and Harry Reid anyway.

  • judahlevi

As David said, it is absolutely disgraceful that Hillary Clinton, Obama, and others in his administration would rather blame the right of free speech than the Muslims who murdered our ambassador. To persecute this Coptic Christian instead of standing up for his right to say anything he wishes about anybody, it is truly saddening to see an American president kowtow to these Islamic thugs.

These violent demonstrations have proven again and again that appeasement of any kind if not productive. Either you stand up for your principles and rights, or you capitulate and allow Islamic rageboys to dictate to the US what rights we have or don't have. That is the choice – and it is a clear one.

President Obama's position, and the position of his state department, is pathetic.

    • Chad

If it's going to be considered blasphemous to insult their Mohammed – and the West moves to restrict or ban this form of free speech – then why isn't anyone talking about Catholic law which considers not believing that Jesus is the Son of God, or not believing in the Holy Spirit, as blasphemy? By the Muslim's logic, the world's 1.2 billion Catholics should unite to demand that all Muslims be charged with blasphemy because of this – are Catholics burning embassies and murdering diplomats because of the Muslim's blasphemy? This just proves what an incredibly naive liberal media and politicians we have here in America and the West to even suggest that we should restrict such free speech – it's totally hypocritical to expect the entire world to bow to any religious law like this. It's no longer religious law when it expands to all of society – that's fascist political law, called Sharia which shouldn't be supported but BANNED for violating almost every article of the UNDHR.

    • RevolveNews

      Thank you. My sentiments exactly.

  • David

No one could have said it better – or with more urgency – than Mr. Horowitz did. And he is completely right.

  • Jon_Babtist

Instead of the carnival act of Obama on Letterman it could change the consciousness of a
nation if he had to face the articulate wrath of Mr. Horowitz on national TV. We can only dream.

  • John Smith

I totally believe in free speech. When it's within a community where everyone knows and abides by the rules.
What you have here is a bunch of foreigners who use OUR free speech to create havoc in THEIR countries, knowing very well that WE will bear the consequeces.
I say to them: go speak at home. Leave us out of it.
The same goes for Maurice Sadek who translated and tweeted it around the world on Sep 5, associating Terry Jones, who had nothing to do with it. Very well orchestrated, for maximum effect, all from the comfort of his home, THIS side of the Atlantic.
As to Nakoula being identified and having to leave his house to evade the media? He shouldn't have called AP and WSJ. You can't have it both ways. In America, we enjoy free speech, but also freedom of information.

    • Dave Jenkins

Your comment is partially agreeable. However, foreigners that come to this Country legally and follow the legal process of immigration and then onto citizenship has every right to express their opinion of what they know or have experienced even it happened in another Country. They are or have become citizens of the US and have the same protections of the 1st Amendment as you do.
I have traveled to 36 Countries, some many times, there are all kinds of inhumane and completely hideous actions I have seen carried out from people in other Countries by which if the average American who has never been out of the Country or has any actual experience of first hand accounts of the atrocities that occur in other Countries could bare to witness without completely being repulsed and angered.
There are all kinds of things I can say about Kings and governments of other Countries when I come back to America because it is my right to free speech and a right to speak of what the truths of what is happening in foreign Countries without worry of retaliation for speaking the truth. By which while in those particular Countries you would dare not even peep a word of disapproval for fear of execution.
These foreign Countries exterminate anyone who disagrees or speaks out the truth about their corruption and brings to light their true agenda's.
It is also happening here in America under this Administration, Speak out against Obama and his administration and they try anything they can to silence you if you gain any kind of publicity. By their actions of trying to control what can or cannot be said or shown on the internet, on the radio waves, on the broadcasting stations by calling it terrorism or make up terms such as hate speech. (as far as hate speech, I have searched all through the Constitution and no where can I see where it mentions anything about "Hate Speech", all I can find is "Freedom of speech" regardless to whether you agree with what one says or not, or if it is negative towards another it is not a crime.
In fact our Constitution specifically lays out laws allowing the citizenry to speech out and protest and even over throw a government that over reaches its intended powers of this nation.

    • ritchloui

It seems that you do NOT believe in free speech. Your argument seems to be, well US citizens can have free speech but we draw the line at foreigners being able to speak about what they know about their own countries of origin. In effect you are saying is you prefer to go along with the wishes of those governments and keep silent about things they don't want said.

Islam is an esssentially vigilante system of law and always has been. This helps its political elites and imams retain 'plausible deniability' when things get out of hand. Islam is not some here today gone tomorrow political experiment. It is the most successful and longest surviving totalitarian regime on earth. Communism and nazism relied on people being afraid of the government and the secret police whilst with Islam the people become afraid of eachother. Don't sacrifce people to the crocadile in the hope that it will not eat you.

    • Sunbeam

You are right, John. I advocate free speech and free information. Freedom of speech is the essence of a free happy society. It has been the tradition of the West for many centuries, and now it looks like it's been threaten by Islam. No one (Megyn included) seems to want a "fair and balanced" debate on why it is that the White House and so many other private citizens are sidelling up to the muslim brotherhood. Remember, Joseph McCarthy may have been a jerk but he was right, there were communists in the government.

    • Janis

Thanh you, Steven; You are so right. There was (and is) Communists in Hollywood and in the government.

Romney should win by a landslide, unless i am totally out of touch with the New Amerika?

    • Questions

Denial apparently afflicts conservatives as well as liberals. The sad fact is Romney ISN'T going to win by a landslide. In fact, the major polls say nearly the opposite — Obama is running ahead in all major swing states, most crucially, Florida. Romney may well win, but it's gonna be an uphill battle. And he's got to say the right things even to squeak by.

      • Kufar Dawg

This is if the polls aren't merely lieberal fabrications of reality, kinda like the present regime's purported unemployment figures are.

        • Questions

Well, they certainly weren't back in 2008. Why should one think things are different now? Polling has become an exact science as well as an objective one. Romney needs to kick some serious butt if he wants those numbers reversed.

  • TopAssistant

David and his staff do excellent work! I was stunned when Megan stopped him when he tried to address the real issue and that is how and why a Muslim Brotherhood operative is working for our State Department? He was talking about Huma Abedin.

Read the Frank Gaffney article here on Frontpagemag.com titled: The Muslim Brotherhood in the Obama Administration and make sure you scroll down to the bottom of the article and read the pamphlet by the same name: The Muslim Brotherhood in the Obama Administration. You might want to buy about 50 of them and give them to each of our council members, mayor, county council, state representatives and two senators, congressional representative and ask them to please seek hearings by both the House and Senate to identify our enemy and show how the Muslim Brotherhood has infiltrated our government America since they formed their first group at the University of Illinois in 1962. Go to Citizens for National Security (CFNS) website and link to “Task Force Updates” “Muslim Brotherhood Full CFNS Report” and read: “Homegrown Jihad in the USA – Muslim Brotherhood’s Deliberate, Premeditated Plan Now Reaching Maturity©” outlining the movement of our enemy throughout the United States since 1962. Why hasn’t our government ever produced such a document?

    • JoJ

this is scaring me. These people do not believe in the most basic right of liberty. rights of conscience. Do they even have a word for it?

    • Questions

Understand this: Fox News Channel for the last several years has been part-owned by Saudi royalty — specifically, Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal owns a 7 percent stake in Rupert Murdoch's News Corp., the parent company of Fox. The anchor desk, no doubt on orders from top management, including Murdoch himself, is scared of offending the Saudis and thus interrupting the flow of crude oil.

Obama is a Muslim and he hates Jews like any other Muslim. The USA needs to stand WITH Israel!

  • clarespark

David H. entirely concise and pointed in this brief interview. Megyn Kelly tries to rein him in. It is interesting to contrast David's general un-bullied public stance with the wimpy and vague and helpless methods recommended by the Harvard Graduate School of Education (that I attended) as they flail around in their cover story on bullying, which seems to leave them without ideas other than perspectivism, empathy, and mindfulness (typical Democratic Party nostrums). I lost my temper here: http://clarespark.com/2012/09/19/bullies/. "Bullies."

  • Allen

    Thank you David.

  • Susan K

Ever since this 'movie' excuse began, there is one obvious question that should be asked of muslims and the media, but hasn't.

QUESTION: What exactly in the movie is untruthful?

I have asked it on comment posts and nobody answered.

    • Bronson

Nothing of course Susan K. Deep down muslims and the media know that and it makes them feel ashamed of how they have made their false prophet into a demi-god in view of his abhorrent behaviours and crimes against humanity. They rage to camouflage their shame and bully those who present the truth into submission thereby feeling honor instead.

  • Pepper Bruce

David H. is squarely on track in his condemnation of the behavior of the sorry excuse we have for a President. Why does Obama continue to feel it is his job to apologize for American values in the face of such obvious thuggery and primitivity? It pains me to have to issue a formal apology for this Community Organizer in Chief. He is the worst this nation has had to endure. I must hand my head in shame.

  • lynda martinez

David Horowitz has the heart of a lion. One of the very greatest patriots in American history. thank you

  • https://www.facebook.com/israelmarcom Larry Butchins

This was not free speech as we know it, Jim – while I deplore and condemn outright the reactions of Muslims to this piece of trash, this was a deliberately perpetrated fraud. The producer, the so-called "free speaker" if you like, hides behind a false identity, hoodwinks his actors and crew into believing they are producing an historical action movie, and then denies any involvement. As it is, one of the actors is suing him for misleading her as to the purpose of the film…He also violated his parole terms, he has a history of criminal activity. C'mon…and some people want to "protect" his rights. He has no rights under these conditions.

    • Kufar Dawg

Duh, so what if he "hides behind a false identity"? He doesn't want to be murdered by "radical" muslimes, while your "moderate" muslimes and their libtarded apologists stand by and do nothing or worse, support the action.

    • MotherGoose

Even a criminal has the right of free speech….where did you get your law degree?

  • Martin

Not mentioned by David was that the Administration willfully provided the filmmaker's home address to the media, who willfully provided it to their readers and viewers. As a result, he and his entire family had to go into hiding.

    • John Smith

Sorry Martin, that's not what happened: HE called AP and the WSJ to boast about his "movie". They tracked his cell # back to his address. As I said in another post: you can't have it both ways. We have freedom of speech, but also freedom of information.

  • Yaakov

    1) I would not have married this woman with ties to the Muslim Brotherhood.
However, that being stated, I really feel for former Congressman Wiener. He is a Jew. She wants to kill all Jews. Oh, yeah, That is right. Wiener is a JINO – Jew in Name Only.

    • Kufar Dawg

How do you know Wiener hasn't converted to islam?

      • MotherGoose

exactly…then all of his perversions would be allowed.

  • 2WarAbnVet

Putting blame on this movie trailer is nothing more than a “smokescreen”. It is a pathetic attempt, by the Obama Administration to blame a movie for their failed policies, and it only highlights Obama’s weakness and incompetence.

  • BJHolmes

David Horowitz is never "off base". Pay attention to this brave man who has lived both sides of Communism.
He probably knows more about Communist's abuse than anyone living. Read his bio.

  • dmw

David, a fabulous job; and once more confirming my decision to be a regular contributor to the Freedom Center.

  • Eric

This next step in Sharia implementation by liberals is evil, though not a surprise. David speaks for goodness and truth. If there is any good to come out of this latest eruption of persecution and murder by Muslims, it will be that some more more Americans will realize that Muslims cannot be allowed to live in the West.

  • Stuart Parsons

Hey Schlomotion ! Islam's own sources Quran Sunnah and Sirah quite clearly reveal that Muhammad murdered all who spoke out against him, and with the support of his deluded followers to whom he promised much war booty and women and girls to rape, he lied, plotted, tortured, killed, robbed, ransomed and rapes his way to power. Did he not say "Ihave been made victorious with terror" and "I have been commanded to fight the unbelievers until they say only Allah has the right to be worshipped.

  • J. Ludwig

Ambassador killed. Three other good men murdered. Mobs in the street. Cairo embassy attacked. U.S. pilloried and condemned. But guess what? John Smith is offended that someone named Maurice Sadek is "getting over" on the public. Talk about twisted values?!

  • Huma

Fox News is owned by Arabs. Fox News is just after higher viewing figures by trying to be controversial, they don't give a toss about free speech. That's my view.

    • jemaasjr

Well they are going to care about free speech because it would impede on their network, but I know what you mean. News people are what they say in front of the camera. Either they morph into what the network wants or the network hires somebody else. That is all.

  • Gene W 1938

    OK brainy folks.
I suggest every person who knows how to make a U-tube video, make one showing Muhammed dressed as a devil and talking to Statan who is his god allah. I'll be watching for them

  • Barbie

Right thinking on freedom of speech. Islam is a weak religion if it cannot withstand criticism.

  • Max

the last part of the freedom of speech right… "therefore be subject to certain restrictions" when necessary "[f]or respect of the rights or reputation of others" or "[f]or the protection of national security or of public order (order public), or of public health or morals"

Do the math, don't prejudge, and may peace and blessing reach you all, even those that don't want it.

    • Kufar Dawg

BS Ahmed, islam isn't a person, rights are conferred on people, not your g-damn genocidal religion of intolerance and hatred.

My judgement of muslimes is based on the theology they believe in and the actions carried out by them. I can "prejudge" muslimes in the same way I can "prejudge" nazis.

    • jemaasjr

The last part you say?? I am not sure whether to laugh or groan. Limits on speech are always used to support the established order, and the established political class. Always.

  • Dan Baker

David, Thank you for speaking the truth. My next donation to the Freedom Center is on its way. And I hope others contribute as well. Keep up the excellent work.

  • ritchloui

Saying that it is the Muslim Brotherhood behind all this is rather like saying C Company was behind the Allied Forces. The Muslim Brotherhood, Al Qaeda, Hamas and the Muhajadeen etc all emanate from the SAME hydra. So what is the hydra's name? Well, let's start with the OIC, the Organisation of Islamic Converence. The OIC is the largest multi-governmental organisation in the world. It is the largest voting block on the UN. Its most senior committee comprises the heads of state and kings of over 50 self identified "Islamic" countries including Saudi Arabia and Iran. They collectively refer to themselves as 'The Ummah' in other words, the Islamic Caliphate. This organisation has made it perfectly clear in its Charter that it regards Islamic Shariah to be the ONLY legitimate basis for law. They have also made it clear that they intend to impose Shariah law not just within their own confederacy and on non-Muslims living within it but across the globe. Free speech is not permitted under Shariah especially with regard to Islam and its prophet, Mohammed.

The tape of the interview of David Horowitz with Megyn Kelly has been deleted. Why?

Can you put it back up? If not, why not? Where's the pressure coming from that forced the deletion?

  • SCREW SOCIALISM

I consider the false prophet mohamemd to be SAVAGE, and an inspiration of death and murder.

  • Mary

Ms. Kelly you are a fence sitter…. have often wondered whose side are you on because you seem to flip flop….so to say you are "fair and balanced" No you are not..it is hard to know just where the "fairness and balance" comes in with you….in the case of your interview with Mr. Horowitz..you were very rude and really didn't want to hear what he had to say…you really should only interview LIBERALS..then you can just add one small rebuttal or two and then it will look like you are "fair and balance" which is the very reason I watch Fox News…Your interview with Mr. Horowitz ..I felt like I was watching Kristin Powers interviewing him…

  • ybbob3

Did you know that their so called prophet molested his 11yo niece then married her? Some prophet!

  • RevolveNews

    David, you're a mensch!

I find it troubling that the Obama administration took so long to finally admit that the Libyan attack and murders was a coordinated terrorist assault. This administration wants to deflect blame for their inept Mideast policies. They also want to regulate our speech, which is deplorable. Dealing with radical Islamists is very serious indeed. Slick talk, appeasement, and various political experiments will not work. Blowing off mountain tops with bombs WILL work.

Instead of funneling so many billions of dollars into socialist programs (and other wasteful ventures that we cannot afford), I think it is more essential that we spend our tax dollars on the military, to defeat the barbarians that want to kill us. I also shudder to think about how terrorist sympathizers have infiltrated our society and government!

  • John

All the protests are a farce. There have been many Koran burnings, insults galore for years. Why now? Because the Muslim Brotherhood and their front groups want an excuse to inflame the masses at this point in time, for some larger purpose.

  • http://twitter.com/SteveInCM @SteveInCM

Some background information on the now infamous video that should interest Mr Horowitz – because the video IS at least a trigger for the violent protests:
    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/africaa
    http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/politics/

    • Kufar Dawg

No the video isn't a "trigger" for the violent islamofascists, it's a transparent excuse.

The muslime world has no end of triggers for their violence and persecution of people of
other faiths and women. If they can't control themselves then someone else will have to do
it for them because I'm not giving up my freedom, rights and liberties to appease a bunch
      of islamobarbarians.

  • Charles

I watched a few minutes of the trailer/movie on youtube, before it froze up because I'm in a country with a slow internet. And I didn't see anything that was "reprehensible" or "disgusting". And every politician and commentator seems compelled to remark on how "disgusting" and "cheap" the movie is. It has much higher production values than most amateur movies on youtube.

I'm just wondering if I missed, after the couple minutes I watched, something actually offensive. What, did it turn into a donkey show at the end???

I don't believe Muhammed was a profit. That's not dig at Muslims, I am an athiest and don't believe there are or have been any.

  • charles

Even if we didn't have the Bill of Rights, politicians are really getting into dangerous territory by asserting some supposed right of the religious to the non-existence of blasphemy. Every religious person, with perhaps a few exceptions for "universalist" like Sikhs, thinks that other religions are blasphemy.

    • Kufar Dawg

"Every religious person"? That seems like a broad brush you're painting with. Do you speak for all Buddhists?
For all Christians? Did Yeshua ever state Judaism was blasphemous? Because I doubt his audience would've appreciated such a comment.
