Obama Still Wants to Fundamentally Transform America

David Horowitz was one of the founders of the New Left in the 1960s and an editor of its largest magazine, Ramparts. He is the author, with Peter Collier, of three best selling dynastic biographies: The Rockefellers: An American Dynasty (1976); The Kennedys: An American Dream (1984); and The Fords: An American Epic (1987). Looking back in anger at their days in the New Left, he and Collier wrote Destructive Generation (1989), a chronicle of their second thoughts about the 60s that has been compared to Whittaker Chambers’ Witness and other classic works documenting a break from totalitarianism. Horowitz examined this subject more closely in Radical Son (1996), a memoir tracing his odyssey from “red-diaper baby” to conservative activist that George Gilder described as “the first great autobiography of his generation.” He is author of the newly published book The Great Betrayal (Regnery 2014), which is a chronicle of the Democrats treachery in the war on terror before 9/11 to the death of Osama bin Laden.

Far from pursuing national unity to solve the crisis, Mr. Obama put his goal of transformation in front of everything. In order to achieve the change he wanted, he shut out the congressional Republicans in drafting his revolutionary legislation, and then disregarded the majority of Americans when they rejected his plan, defeating Democrats in special elections in New Jersey and Virginia — states that he had won. His radical goals caused Mr. Obama to squander his political capital on a divisive campaign in the first two years of his administration that has changed and embittered the political landscape, and that has persisted for four years and could continue.

Of the Obama election effort dominated by themes of class envy and conflict, a longtime liberal and Democrat, Mortimer Zuckerman, the publisher of U.S. News & World Report, has said: “It is a dishonest, divisive campaign. It’s discouraging of enterprise. It does the opposite of uniting the country to deal with the current economic crisis.”

Abroad, the story is depressingly similar. The president launched his radical foreign policy initiatives with a speech in June 2009. Speaking in Cairo, now aflame with anti-American protests, he offered the Muslim world “a new beginning.” By this, he meant not a Muslim new beginning but an American change of heart, as though it were our policies that led to the Islamic attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, and the ravages of the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. As an anti-war president, Mr. Obama has surrendered Iraq, in whose cause so many young Americans died, to America’s enemy, Iran. This was another gesture of American retreat designed to ingratiate us with those who hate us.

What have these three years of reversing America’s traditional policies wrought? Charles Krauthammer summarized it in a recent column: “The Islamic world is convulsed with an explosion of anti-Americanism. From Tunisia to Lebanon, American schools, businesses and diplomatic facilities set ablaze. A U.S. ambassador and three others murdered in Benghazi. The black flag of Salafism, of which al Qaeda is a prominent element, raised over our embassies in Tunisia, Egypt, Yemen and Sudan.” According to public opinion polls, America’s appeasement of Islamic rage has led to a situation in which America is more hated today in the Muslim world than it was at the height of the war in Iraq.

Like all other radical ideas, Mr. Obama’s foreign policy schemes were based on wishful thinking rather than a realistic appraisal of what the country faces and what its real enemies intend. That is why his policies have failed and a weaker America faces a more dangerous world.

America is a nation that was created by conservatives who designed for it a system of checks and balances to frustrate radical schemes. In his four years as president, Mr. Obama has attempted to circumvent the Founding Fathers’ prudent plans. Now he is asking for a second opportunity.

  • Mr. Polly

Only lunatics like the people at Front Page Mag, headed by loony-in-chief David Horowitz, would describe America's bombing, blasting, machine-gunning, torturing rampage through the Muslim world as "appeasement."

The War on Terror, or whatever one wishes to call it, is clearly a defensive action against Muslim aggression and violence.

What''s humorous about that is that the Muslims bomb, torture, desecrate religious places, kill people arbitrarily and mangle the bodies, and then claim that Western aggression, particularly American aggression, is causing them, a peaceful religion, to do all this.

Even more humorous is that we have a significant number of people in the West who swallow that line in its entirety.

And now we see that powerful people in charge of media, who claim to be the enemies of Islamic radicals, cower in fear of them, unwilling to publish criticism of them for fear of violent retaliation.

I could not agree with you more. What's sickening about it, is that these same people are willing to quell free speech in their attempts to put out this fire yet at the same time have no problem insulting or mocking others, Christians, Jews, Hinduists…etc. The message they are making is clear, "ISLAM UNTOUCHABLE" and we are helping them every time we give an apology and harass citizens for speaking or expressing their opinions. I for one am tired of this same old tired song dance of, "JIHAD". They are clearly not our friends nor will they ever be. I truly wish that lib/progs would just come to accept this ugly fact of life in and quit selling free speech down the river.

Here's my message to "peace loving" lib/progs: "IF YOU WANT TO APPEASE ISLAM AND TRULY THINK WE ARE ENEMIES AND ATAGONISTS TO THE "RELIGION OF PEACE", MOVE TO AN ISLAMIC REPUBLIC AND QUIT TRYING TO TURN THE U.S. INTO ONE"

I know this is only wishful thinking.

    • Omar

No, Mr. Polly. The War on Terror is a justified response to what happened on 9/11. The War on Terror is about fighting terrorism as well as bringing democracy and freedom to the countries that were oppressive towards their own people. Why don't you criticize Russia's support for tyrants like the Assad family dictatorship in Syria? What about the Islamist regime in Sudan's actions in Darfur? Now, that's a double standard. America represents freedom and democracy, while its enemies represent totalitarianism and oppression.

    • Gislef

So you won't be voting for Obama, who spent the last four years bombing, machine-gunning, torturing, and going on a rampage through the Muslim world?

      • http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nLNn2YflwNs Roger

Facts have very little to do with her state of mind.

      • Mr. Polly

I'll be voting for Obama because of my 47% sense of entitlement, not because of the rampage.

        • Omar

Since you think that America and the free world are awful and their enemies are saints, why don't you vote for Putin, Assad, Chavez, Castro, Ahmadinejad Mugabe, Kim and other despotic tyrants?

          • RoguePatriot6

Or better yet move to country with read made socialism or an Islamic republic where Sharia is the law, since America is so "oppressive" and "evil". Funny how those entitlements he mentions came from the country that he just bad mouthed.

    • Drakken

If you love and admire those muslim savages, go live there and openly take up arms in their defense, if we are so bad. Useful idiot leftist like you who give moral equivilancy to backwards savages deserve nothing but contempt.

    • Ghostwriter

Mr. Polly, the only loon here is you. Since when has ANY Muslim condemned a single terrorist attack against any American? For decades,no Muslim has ever condemned ANY terrorist attacks against Americans. If you have any evidence of a Muslim anywhere in the Muslim world condemning 9/11 or any other terrorist attack before or since that time,I want to hear it. If you can't produce it,then you've already proved my point.

      • Mr. Polly

How is that relevant to the question of why drone strikes on Pakistani villagers, say, or the assassination of Anwar al-Alawki, or a NATO bombing campaign against Libya, constitute "appeasement" in the mysterious mind of David Horowitz?

        • Omar

Mr. Polly, why don't you condemn the Assad family dictatorship in Syria and Russia's support for that dictatorship? Why don't you condemn the Russian/Muslim Brotherhood-backed coup against Mubarak in Egypt? Why don't you condemn the Communist/Islamist intervention in Africa? It is because in the eyes of the left, Russia and the Muslim Brotherhood support "social justice" that's why. The current administration has been getting cozy with the Islamists in the Middle East for a while.

        • Kufar Dawg

How is the tacit approval of the ongoing islamofascist persecution and ethnic cleansing of people of ALL other faiths in islamofascist states NOT appeasement Abdullah?

      • trickyblain

Well, GW, lots and lots have. You just have to google it and/or read a sane publication. Problem is the caveats you'll throw out if you decide to do so. "Sure, they 'said' they condemned it, but I don't believe them — it's taqueria! — so it really didn't happen."

        • Ghostwriter

No,trickyblain, what far too many Muslims do is say "We condemn it,but…" and then go on to attack either the U.S. or Israel. They make too many excuses for the jihadists and that should stop. The attacks on 9/11 and the attack by Muslim terrorists before and after 9/11 against Americans and others should be condemned, particularly by Muslims. I want the excuses for the terrorists to stop. They are wrong, period. End of story. Muslims should stop with the excuses and make a GENUINE condemnation. If they want respect they'll have to EARN it and that means condemning terrorism by Muslims. They have to do what's right, not just what's expedient for them.

          • Mr. Polly

Any Muslim who apologizes for Jihad is guilty of APPEASEMENT!

          • Kufar Dawg

Who cares? Your islamofascist liars condemn terrorism on the one hand while supporting it w/the other.

    • cjlaw

Do you not understand the game in its simple terms? Islam in all its glory wants Sharia Law as the goverment rule vs True Freedom It will not stop until Sharia is the rule, their is no moderate Islam its a myth………The bombing, blasting etc. has just begun and what the fearless Mr. O will guide us to world pease?…..surely you jest The fact that you can post your thoughts and not be hauled away to a camp should tell you something about the freedom that Mr. Horowitz wants and fights for everyday, no matter what you think, freedom for all even you whatever you belive its your right get it…….wake the F up this is the real fight …..its going down right NOW

I think you’ll find that it’s been Muslims ‘bombing, blasting, machine-gunning, (and blading) torturing, raping, and rampaging through the Muslim and non-muslim world for a few centuries, now. America and it’s allies do engage because they must engage – we with self-willed ignorance want to believe there’s no greater good nor anything worth standing up for, but history would disagree.

    • RoguePatriot6

"I think you'll find that it's been Muslims 'bombing, blasting, machine-gunning, (and blading) torturing, raping, and rampaging through the Muslim and non-muslim world for a few centuries, now. "

      A few centuries? LOL
How about ever since it was founded or born? Since 630AD they've been doing the same thing.

    • Omar

The fascists before and during World War II and the communists during the Cold War performed the same violent tactics as the Islamists in the contemporary world. For almost a century, America and its allies have had to fight against three totalitarian ideologies threatening the world at different times. Fascism, Communism and Islamism are practically the same totalitarian force of evil. America, Britain, Israel and the free world must defeat all totalitarianism and free the world from oppression.

Liberal Hollywood has over the last 30 years has seduced , crafted and coerced a worldview of counterfiet values and Leftist views …..Obama is merely the result ; America reached a tipping point 4 years ago and this election will push her beyond the point of no return as Obama is clearly going to win decisively
Lets face it , America is no longer a center Right country but is fast becoming center Left …creeping EU type socialism has came in a Trojan Horse of Hollywood with its drip , drip drip of Leftist subliminal messages indoctrinating and shaping the minds of a whole generation of lazy thinking , clueless uninformed voters ,who live in a Hollywood-esque virtual reality of trashy movies , moronic talk shows and frivilous talent shows
It hardly surprising that Obamy would appear on a vacuous talkshow like the VIEW ….the empty headed women who watch it are EXACTLY the type who vote for him in large numbers because he is ''cool''

The TEA PARTIERS are merely the dying remnants of a once mighty fire , raging against the dying of the light …I wish it wasn;t so , but it is ….there will be no ''backlash '' …they have been doped up on liberalism and will march lockstep , like a group of zombies , to their Leftist utopia ….they live in a hollywoodesk virtual reality

        • Drakken

The problem with that thesis is that when real economic and theological pain hits them in the wallet and the homefront, even the most ardent of libtards will have to fight for a slice of the pie or perish. We are without a doubt heading to the most troubling time in a millenia, unfortunately our spoiled and entitled offspring will be put to the test that we have not seen since the depression and ww 2 rolled into one. The most inventive, creative , militant and ruthless will survive, the weak will either follow the strong or starve and perish. That time is coming sooner than anyone thinks and make no mistake it is going to be extremly brutal and bloody.

    • Ghostwriter

Not so fast,Mr. Tarleton. There are people out there who don't like this administration. Their voice will be heard next month,in the election.

      • Banastre Tarleton

America sure has changed. In 1961 a young Democrat President said to his people “ask not what your country can do for you but what you can do for your country”. Today these words would be anathema to progressive lefty socialists and their friends in media and academia. Now over five decades later another Democrat president is encouraging his electorate to demand of his electorate the opposite: ask what their country can do for them and not what they can do for their country – and he is a hero. Lest we forget, we fought a great war to defeat an ideology that was based on government control of its people. Today this fascistic ideology has become the right and what our fathers laid their lives for, wrong. Obama has hooked Americans on socialism and state hand outs. Just like Nazi Germany, US is doomed. Only this time there is no US army of freedom fighting for liberation, instead, another fascist ideology masquerading as religion, with Obama as its helm, its Caliph, is devouring America. And you know what, Americans like it!

  • Chezwick

The only part of the essay I disagree with is Iraq.

For the record, I was a staunch supporter of Bush's decision to invade and had many, many disagreements with others in the anti-Jihad over our continued presence. I felt the entire enterprise was worthwhile and in our national interests.

In retrospect, I realize how wrong I was. Perhaps the expenditure of a trillion dollars and the loss of 4000 of our best and brightest would have been worth it if we had successfully constructed a democratic, SECULAR society in the heart of the Arab world, but in fact, these sacrifices succeeded only in building a pro-Iranian, Sharia regime….and that was the reality even before Obama got us out.

Is Iraq better off because of our efforts? Undoubtedly….at least the 80% of the country that is Shia and Kurd. But is America better off? Just ask the tens of thousands of vets with brain injuries from the concussion effects of road-side bombs…or the families of the deceased US service members who gave their lives so that Iraq could impose Sharia on its citizenry.

I suppose the greatest tragedy of the Iraq war is that it transformed America's political landscape, alienating the electorate to a degree that it insured the election of a radical "community activist" whose sole purpose as president seems to be to bankrupt our great country with unprecedented levels of spending and debt. We'll be paying for such an indulgence for decades.

    • davarino

Your right, I think we should have left all the muslim nations alone and helped keep their dictators in power to keep the crazies down, but this is what you get when you try to help these backwoods ret@rds acquire freedom. You help Bin Laden and his happy band of dolts defeat the Soviets and they turn on you. You help the Iraqis get free from Sadam and they dont want to participate in their own freedom. You help the Afganis get free from the Taliban and they wont fight to maintain that freedom. You help the Libyans get free from Gadafi and crazies take over. You help Egyptians get free from Mubarak and they let the crazies take over. Obama is helping to unite the muslim world, but luckily for us they still live in the 5th century.

      • Chezwick

"Obama is helping to unite the muslim world"

You're spot-on, Davarino. The rise of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt and North Africa is the first step in the reconstitution of the Caliphate.

    • tarleton

Bush /cheney were right to go into Iraq…..after 9/11 any experienced policeman would understand why the US had to go in and make an example of S Hussain, even if he wasn't guilty of the latest outrage …he was the WORST gangster in a truly bad neighbourhood and as such had to be made an example of to intimidate the other creeps … Iran was at war with Iraq for 8 years without victory while it took the US a mere 3 weeks to reach Baghdad …that kind of lesson could't fail to impress those medieval creeps in Iran ; after all , there is only 1 letter difference between IRAQ and IRAN

      • Chezwick

And what did the invasion accomplish? Iraq is now a virtual appendage of Iran.

        • guest

In 2006 the Sunnis in Anbar allied themselves with the US and turned against al-Qaeda. Causalities and attacks were low with a smaller presence when Obama withdrew everyone for his own political purposes.

Iraq's budget was over 10 years with cost inflated to include big government social spending. The 17 times Democrats blocked housing reform hurt us much more financially than the Iraq war.

We could ignore it and let Saddam maintain his chemical weapons infrastructure while bribing the UN to remove sanctions or have 300,000 soldiers play defense and air strikes only. Either one could have worked out much worse.

          • Chezwick

You've made some absolutely legitimate points. But were the repercussions of this war – direct and ancillary – worth it?……

            1) Shia-dominated Iraq is now within Iran's orbit, strengthening that beacon of international terror. For all his evil, Saddam was a Sunni counterweight to Iran.

            2) 4000 young, patriotic Americans are dead who otherwise wouldn't be….and thousands of others are maimed and/or brain-damaged. The sorrow of these casualties and their families is incalculable.

            3) The public's opposition to the war facilitated the 2008 nomination and eventual election of the Dems principle anti-war candidate, one Barak Obama…and because it turns out he is a big-government socialist, that outcome will haunt America for decades.

        • Banastre Tarleton

They HUNG Sadaam and killed his terrible sons …the invasion of Iraq was the most noble thing the US has done since the end of the Cold War ……they killed some of the creeps who needed killing

          • Kufar Dawg

I seem to remember the Iraqi people at first seemed to support the ousting of Hussein. I'd imagine Iraq's dwindling Christian population misses him, at least what's left of them.

    • Drakken

I had a very interesting conversation in Iraq with that idiot Bremmer, I told hime to put Saddams Generals in charge and they will get order in the country fast and they won't be a puppet to Iran, he laughed at me and said they will love us for freeing them from Saddam, I saw him a couple years ago and laughed at his stupidity, he knew I was right.

    • Ar'nun

Iraq should have been a week long war, and it almost was. Bomb them send in SF kill Sadam and come home is all we should have done We should have left Iraq's next chapter up to Iraq but with a fresh memory of what would happen if another out of control nut job takes power.

    • PaulRevereNow

Bush was warned, by Ariel Sharon, more than once, to "keep your eye on the main enemy," namely Iran. But Bush didn't listen to Sharon, with the results we have now. To be fair to Bush, there WERE WMD's in Iraq(biological and chemical WMD's), and Saddam was a threat to peace; but I too, wonder what would have happened if Bush had paid attention to Ariel Sharon.

      • queasy

President Clinton stated in February 1998:

Iraq admitted, among other things, an offensive biological warfare capability, notably, 5,000 gallons of botulinum, which causes botulism; 2,000 gallons of anthrax; 25 biological-filled Scud warheads; and 157 aerial bombs. And I might say UNSCOM inspectors believe that Iraq has actually greatly understated its production.

The UNSCOM inspectors believe that Iraq still has stockpiles of chemical and biological munitions, a small force of Scud-type missiles, and the capacity to restart quickly its production program and build many, many more weapons…. Now, let’s imagine the future. What if he fails to comply and we fail to act, or we take some ambiguous third route, which gives him yet more opportunities to develop this program of weapons of mass destruction and continue to press for the release of the sanctions and continue to ignore the solemn commitments that he made? Well, he will conclude that the international community has lost its will. He will then conclude that he can go right on and do more to rebuild an arsenal of devastating destruction. And some day, some way, I guarantee you he’ll use the arsenal.

        • queasy

The Iraq Liberation Act of 1998 is a United States Congressional statement of policy calling for regime change in Iraq. It was signed into law by President Bill Clinton, and states that it is the policy of the United States to support democratic movements within Iraq. The Act was cited in October 2002 to argue for the authorization of military force against the Iraqi government.

Iraq was not cooperating with UN inspectors and had not met its obligations to 17 UN resolutions. The US felt that Resolution 1441 called for the immediate, total unilateral disarmament of Iraq and continued to show frustration at the fact that months after the resolution was passed Iraq was still not, in its view, disarming.
Language in Resolution 1441 recalled that the use of “all means necessary” was still authorized and in effect from Resolution 678, and therefore maintained that if Iraq failed to comply with the “one final chance to comply” provision of Resolution 1441, then military action would be the result.

    • Mike in VA

      Cheswick,

Lest we forget, it was in Iraq where al Qaeda met its tactical and strategic ruin. It was there, in what AQ's leadership declared the central battleground of the Global Jihad, that thousands of AQ's foot soldiers met their demise and where al Qaeda lost it propaganda war against the United States.

If we're going to ask ourselves whether or not that war was worth the expense in blood and treasure – which is a legitimate question – we have to ask ourselves whether or not crippling the terrorist network that killed 3000 Americans in a single morning in 2001 was worth the expense.

The war that began on September 11, 2001 could not be won by fighting on American soil. This was a fight that had to be brought to the enemy and fought in his soil, and this was never an inexpensive proposition in any sense of the word.

      • Chezwick

        Mike,

Iraq certainly became a magnate for Jihadists….and we certainly killed thousands of them there. But…

        1) Al Qaeda's principle base of operations and the sanctuary for its leadership remains Pakistan

        2) Al Qaeda is just one organization in a broader civilizational struggle. It may be the most virulent, but there are dozens of other Jihadist groups around the world. We haven't yet defeated Al Qaeda, but even if we do, it would in no way constitute a definitive victory over Islam.

      • Banastre Tarleton

EXCELLENT COMMENT MIKE…… after 9/11 the US had to put the fear of God into those medieval creeps ; they were using Afcrapistan as a safe harbour , like a group of Barbary pirates , and had to be flushed out ……the US HAD to go into Iraq and ''make an example ''of Sadaam …he was their ''lion of the desert '' and the worst gangster in a bad neighbourhood and HAD to be taken out ….it was a MAGNIFICENT day for justice when he was pulled from that hole like a homeless bum and eventually hung ; likewise when his terrible sons were killed
The US must act like a superpower and a moral force for good ; kinda like England in the 19th C entury

The greatest tragedy of the war, is the fact that we did not use the same procedure as we did to end

Bill Warner is an excellent speaker w/cogent points. He spoke at my ACT for America chapter and mentioned he had done some research quantifying the amount of explicit antisemitic vomit found in the islamic trilogy vis-a-vis Mein Kampf. He actually found that there are more antisemitic verses in the islamic trilogy than are found in the entirety of Mein Kampf.

Men that like to treat their women like animals and make them share the pet food love Islam. But men that like to treat their women as queens and share their credit card with them love being an Infidel.

    • tagalog

My only beef about that is that we men have recognized feminine independence only to have women assume the qualities of the worst type of man, and browbeat the restrained men. So that feminine independence has, in the West, only meant that the sexes have exchanged the shackles from one to the other, not that both have improved in character. The feminists seem to be quite satisfied with Islamic attitudes toward women. That's because they know if they were living in an Islamic society they'd be stoned to death, and they LOVE being dominated. They're either at your feet or at your throat.

But I'm quite happy to be perceived as an unbeliever in Islam.

      • chowching259

It is in a mans benefit to live in a society where women are used as sex slaves and low paid servants. But the rest of Islams codes are garbage.

Thanks for another great read David. Obama is the Architect of Americas destruction that the left has wanted for over a hundred years. If he is not stopped in November the amount of havoc and destruction he will inflict on our nation will be irreversable and devastating It will no longer be the America we grew up in.. In fact the next four years will make the last four look like a cake walk in comparison since he will have no more elections to face and can completely be free destroy every institution in our country or "fundamentally transform" as he puts it. His mask will come off on November 7th and the true evil of this man will be revealed I plan to vote Romney for the sake of our country.

    USA is a wonderful country.

OBAMA WAS BORN OF COMMUNISTS, mentored by a Communist, sought out Communists, and terrorists, in Chicago and college, and has surrounded himself with his "CIRCLE OF COMMUNISTS" that he then appointed to positions in the DOJ, State Department, CIA and FBI, on top of all the COMMUNIST CZARS he invented jobs for to then rule by decree and to even bypass Congress! What does that make a Obama? DING DING DING! A COMMUNIST! Stop the PC crapola. He is not a "Leftist" or "Socialist" which sounds better.

TWO WORDS THAT WILL DEFEAT OBAMA: "I'M SWITCHING." Artur Davis, a Black staunch supporter of Obama, defected to the Republicans and gave the best speech at the RNC and was interviewed on CNN stating that "9% of Obama voters are switching for Romney and that's 6.1 million people." Commercials are being run with switchers. THIS "I'M SWITCHING" NEEDS TO GO NATIONAL since many people aren't political junkies, like us, and they will then see a movement and WILL FOLLOW. They will hear why that person, or group, is switching. Show individuals with personal stories. Show OIL RIG workers who are standing in front of their idle oil rigs and then show a car filling up with the FOUR DOLLARS PLUS and then them saying too, "I'M SWITCHING." GAS PRICES HURT EVERYONE AND THEY WILL REMEMBER TOO!

"I'M SWITCHING" IS THE ONLY WAY TO WIN!

From “ask not your country can do for but what you can do for your country” in 1961, to “ask what your country can do for you, not what you can do for your country” in 2012.

    Amrika has changed for sure…

  • Chuck

I agree with your article. BUT, apparently this information needs to be more strongly presented to the country through the mainstream media and other media venues. Why, with all the information out there, do we still see polls that show 47% +- of the people still behind Obama. Has this nation gone crazy, ill-informed. Romney needs to bring out facts, backed by reliable sources, to convince this group that Obama needs to go.

    • RoguePatriot6

"I agree with your article. BUT, apparently this information needs to be more strongly presented to the country through the mainstream media and other media venues."

The PC Protection Agency will never allow that to happen. Islamists nor Islam can never be held responsible for it's actions….why…why…that would be….. just be rude………and disespectful and….they might get upset again and kill more people. It's much more socially and politically acceptable to arrest citizens for exercising free speech.
You see, Chuck, it's like the days of old when the mob executed witnesses or the KKK conducted violent lynchings of blacks and whites seen together. It's much easier to just discourage the law abiding citizens from exercising their legitimate rights than to actually confront the true root of the problem.

    • Spider

It won't happen Chuck. Journalism is dead in America. They have all become nothing but a Progressive PC Multi-cult protection racket..

    Abu Baseer in London:
“One of the goals of immigration is the revival of the duty of jihad and enforcement of power over the infidels. Immigration and jihad go together.

Gaddafi: “We have 50 million Muslims in Europe, there are signs that Allah will grant Islam victory in Europe — without swords, without guns, without conquests. The 50 million Muslims of Europe will turn it into a Muslim continent within a few decades.”…

But scumbags like Rachel Maddow bleat endlessly about the threat of the Christian right. I'd like to see this hypocritical bitch host a LGBT parade in Tehran, Cairo, Mogadishu or Riyadh someday.

More Americans should be asking which "fundamentals" Obama seeks to change. The Constitution? Free market economies? Limited government? Bill of Rights? It's a strong word that makes for an alarming statement that deserves intense scrutiny.

    • Mike in VA

Excellent point, IV, and Obama's opponents – from Mitt Romney to you and I – need to pose these questions to our fellow Americans because Obama's running dogs in the media will never do it for us.

  • Ghostwriter

There are people who don't like this administration and it's policies. It's just that the media doesn't want to listen to those people. They'll get their chance to speak on November 6th.

  • Thomas Wells

Not "transform" but "eliminate" America, is the goal of the Obamanites.

  • fanlad

The truth in the pudding is this president's actions not his words. If one remembers, back in 2008, and 2009 our country and our economy was in financial free fall, America was looking to our leaders for solutions and help to solve these pressing economic issues, what was the president's administration's course of action? To ram Obama care down the throats of the American people, while not taking care of the most pressing issues, the financial collapse of The United States of America. Instead, Obama takes a victim in shock ( America ), and further takes advantage of her. A good crisis should not go to waste. How despicable, and how disgusting, remember the "Corn Husker Kickback", "The Louisiana Purchase", the back door deals in the late of night, and over the weekends, without the scrutiny of the America people. Remember how Congressman Bart Stupak, supposed pro-life individual, sold out the unborn babies to help Obama care pass. All the while, America's economy was sliding closer to collapse. Our Radical in Chief, to some he is not radical enough, go figure. God help us.

The fact is that the fanatics rule Islam at this moment in history. It is the fanatics who march. It is the fanatics who wage any one of 50 shooting wars worldwide. It is the fanatics who systematically slaughter Christian or tribal groups throughout Africa and are gradually taking over the entire continent in an Islamic wave. It is the fanatics who bomb, behead, murder, or honor-kill. It is the fanatics who take over mosque after mosque. It is the fanatics who zealously spread the stoning and hanging of rape victims and homosexuals. It is the fanatics who teach their young to kill and to become suicide bombers. President Obama knows this but panders and appeases to the Muslim Brotherhood anyway.
Peace-loving Muslims have been made irrelevant by their silence. Peace-loving Muslims will become our enemy one day too if they don't speak up, because they will awaken one day and find that the fanatics own them, and the end of their world will have begun. In God We Trust.

    • Mr. Polly

You say "they will awaken one day and find that the fanatics own them, and the end of their world will have begun." This is just what happened to the Jews with Zionism, and what may have begun too.

      • Omar

Oh, please. Zionism doesn't promote fanatics. Islamist jihadism promotes fanatics. That's the reality

      • Kufar Dawg

Why does defending islamofascism always involve bringing up the Jews and/or Judaism? Don't islamofascists ever have any valid defense of their f'ed up faith of genocidal hatred and intolerance?

A new online ad has kept popping up at various websites.

    "Obama – Biden
    Stand with me.
    Work with me.
    Let's Finish What We Started.
    Are you in?"

It has an ominous similarity to chants by Berkeley radicals trying to take over buildings, etc. It's phrased in a way that does not imply unity, but rather its opposite, sort of an "us against them" implication. Who's the "we," and what have they "started?" Does a country ever become "finished?" Serious questions. Revolutionary undertones.

    • Kufar Dawg

It fits hand in glove w/the zero's speech at the UN.

The more I think of it the more suspicious I am of that YouTube video. How convenient for this trailer that no one had even heard of, to surface right around 9/11 and the sitting of the General Assembly.

You have to start asking; who has benefited most from the thing? While its tacky, yes, its based on truthful premises about Islam. Yes they want us all back in the stone age, yes Muhammad was a pedophile, yes they want to restrict our rights to freedom of speech. So why prosecute bad over-acting, bad comedy and a bit of hyperbole, we're used to it aren't we?

The actors certainly haven't benefited from it, nor the producer/director it seems. I'm sure it was never going to be shown at the local Cineplex. So who was the intended audience? Did the producer/director believe he would get a return on his $5 million or whatever it cost through YouTube? Who were the other backers prepared to lose that kind of cash, because it seems Noukala was a pretty unsavoury character with a string of unpaid debts and other pending charges?

Again, the only beneficiaries it would seem are those who would stifle our rights and send us back to the 7th century. People have died for this trailer. Embassies have burned. It's being touted from the squalid slums of Bangladesh (do they even have internet there?) and the other 56 OIC cesspools to the UN as exhibit A in a quest to label us all islamophobes. Meanwhile the leftard MSM and our gutless politicians act as their cheer squad, appeasing this filth. Hypocrites!

These barbarians don't care about the money, but they DO care about ushering in the blasphemy laws the OIC's been working on for the last, well, forever. So again I ask, who has benefited most from this film? Why has BHussein Obama milked this ditzy trailer for all its worth at every opportunity he gets? Hmmmm…..

While I'm ranting, there's a few things I don't get: muslims covet the benefits the West has brought them – mobile phones, medicine, music, internet, lipstick etc – yet they hate us for using them; in the case of Iran, its awash with oil, yet it sticks to its lie about building nuclear "power"; they treat their women worse than feral dogs, yet rabid feminists are silent. In fact the left intelligentsia dhimmis are silent, even when that spittle-flecked turd talks about the return of the madhi and the worldwide caliphate. Have they read the Koran? Have they read history? Have they listened to the mullacracy spewing forth their vile and hatred? Do they see the entire Middle East has their hand out for billions of our aid, yet sits on billions dollars worth of oil? Anyway I could go on …

Its just so frustrating watching the disintegration of Western Civilization right before our eyes, almost on a daily basis. While the hand-wringers look on – or worse aid and abet them.

  • Omar

Where's Schlomotion? He is supposed to be here giving everyone the contradiction to facts in order to annoy us with his propaganda. I guess Schlomotion took the day off.

    • Kufar Dawg

It's not easy coming up w/relevant fallacies of argumentation to defend islamofascism.

  • Ghostwriter

Well,Omar. He's probably off annoying some other group of people on another website. We should be grateful while it lasts.
