Biden Admits Obama is Arming Muslim Brotherhood to Take Over Syria

This is ridiculous and it should be an incredibly damning statement. It’s shocking to me that this has not been picked up.

VICE PRESIDENT BIDEN: Let — let — let me — you don’t go through the U.N. We are in the process now and have been for months in making sure that help, humanitarian aid, as well as other aid and training, is getting to those forces that we believe, the Turks believe, the Jordanians believe, the Saudis believe are the free forces inside of Syria.

What Biden said in his debate with Ryan is that Saudi Arabia and Turkey, both Islamist countries, and Jordan which is a pawn, determine which Syrian rebels get “other aid”, presumably weapons, and the training to use them.

That Obama is arming and training, directly or indirectly, the Syrian rebels, would be an important revelation in and of itself. Biden’s dismissal of the UN, after years of Democratic whining about Bush’s unilateralism, should also excite comment, but most significantly Biden admits that our view of who should get them derives from the view of Turkey’s Islamist government and Saudi Arabia’s even more Islamist regime. Saudi Arabia is as bad as Pakistan and Turkey is being run by an Islamist party that is backing the Muslim Brotherhood to take over Syria. Both consider Hamas a legitimate group, and yet Obama has decided to make his plan for regime change in Syria subservient to what the Saudi and Turkish lobbies tell him to do.

This is near confirmation that Obama is arming and training the Muslim Brotherhood to take over Syria.

In probably the worst choice of words imaginable, Biden talks of, “working hand in glove with the Turks, with the Jordanians, with the Saudis and with all the people in the region attempting to identify the people who deserve the help so that when Assad goes and he will go, there will be a legitimate government that follows on, not an al-Qaida-sponsored government that follows on.”

This isn’t just backing rebel fighters, this is fairly open regime change. Al Qaeda can do quite a bit of damage, but they can’t take over Syria. Even a buffoon like Biden knows that. Syria isn’t Mali or Afghanistan. But the Muslim Brotherhood can take over Syria. And when the Muslim Brotherhood takes over a country, like the Taliban they provide a safe haven for Islamic terrorist groups.

Biden said a lot of stupid things during the debate, but this may be the worst of them all. And the worst part is that it’s all true.

Actually, I could never figure out that picture. How could it ever be proper protocol for the president of a revolutionary republic or any of his ministers, ambassadors, consuls, or officers to bow to a King?

What was the point of this gratuitous exhibit?

Oh, and are you siding with the Russians about Syria?

    Interesting bedfellows, for you guys.

    • Daniel Greenfield

How about not picking a side?

If the choice is between Shiite Islamists and Sunni Islamists, what is there to gain by backing one enemy or another?

Turkey also seems to be edging towards a war with Syria and Iran. Wouldn't it be funny if Turkey manages to draw the USA into a war with Iran when the US has repeatedly refused to deal with Iranian nuclear weapons? (I don't mean funny as something to laugh at.) Obama, Clintonand Biden are not in control of events. They are being pushed around and manipulated by the Muslim Brotherhood. How come the question of Abedin has not been raised in this election?

    • TMootz

That's a question I was wondering about. When Bachman tried to get someone to deal with the Muslem Brotherhood infiltration into the US Govt, she was shot down by the likes of Bohner and McCain. Why? How can they be totally unaware of what's going on? Obama is in bed with the Brotherhood and no one in govt seems to be paying attention. Grover Norquist is also in bed with them and he obviously has alot of power to minimize and shutup people like Bachman and Goemert. Read "The Grand Jihad" by Andrew McCarthy and/or a smaller book by same called "How Obama Embraces Islam's Sharia Agenda". This is scary stuff that is really going on!

      • Nick Fortune

What is it that makes people think Obama is a Muslim?

        • nanumont

          Perhaps being raised a Muslim???

        • RhondaKelly07

    • Gokhan

well i am turkish and most of turkish people think, turkey is being pushed by usa.this is really funny because you are saying exactly opposite idea.Nobody can influence usa to take a plan which is made by another country except israel and UK.USA wants to get iran before iran gets nuclear power. Why you american people get worried about it.Whoever comes to power in the world, will rule their country according to usa's plan except israel.Except Israel because whoever becomes president of usa, will rule USA according to jewish (israel) plan.

    • gokhan

Turkey and other muslim countries even can't move their fingers without permission of USA.About 1.5 years ago, one of arabic newspaper in london, wrote that turkey will attack to syria and israel will attack to iran at the same time.Nobody can take usa to war,if usa doesn't want to involve. If USA would like to end this conflict in Syria, they would just demand Turkey to stop backing rebels in Syria and would call UN to solve this problem with minimum damage by talking to both side. But international hands involved in these demos and that led demos to go conflict.Because they want to make new borders in middle east as it was a plan called greater middle east project which is prepared by bush administration.

      • Nick Fortune

There will never be peace in the Middle East as long as the US in trying to be a moderator continues to favor Israel. Israel would have the US attack Iran like they had us attack Iraq. If they can't get us to do that then they will want us to attack Iran together with them. With all the American lives lost and money down the drain it doesn't deter the neo-cons from wanting us to put Israel's interest before our own.

  • @undefined

And Biden had the nerve to say that we are not involved in any other wars than Iraq and Afghanistan. If it wasn't for Obama backing the Muslim Brotherhood, none of this would be happening.

  • BLJ

Obama is the Muslim Brotherhood. I would have liked to be standing behind him as he was bowing. A hard kick in the butt would sure be a good start.

  • PaulRevereNow

Not surprising, however horrifying it is, that Barry supports the MB in Syria. Dr. Jerome Corsi has discovered that Barry has worn a Muslim ring, on his left hand, for the past 30 years. Obama's Muslim ring is inscribed, in Arabic, "There is no God but Allah." This quote happens to be the first sentence of the Shehada, the invocation for those converting to Islam. Obama's not a Muslim? Looks like he is.

    • objectivefactsmatter

The ring in and of itself (excluding all of the other legitimate questions over his loyalties) might be excused by his early history. However, in the context of all his activities and other known lies, how dare he ask us to accept this too while attacking people who question his deceptive claims?

Obama has got to be the most arrogant liar ever to achieve this degree of success in modern politics.

He'll have a strong career after the Whitehouse as a professional victim, again following partially in the footsteps of Carter but extending this with the blatant class warfare angles. Maybe he'll change his style of speech again if he thinks it will enhance his success.

    • Nick Fortune

Let's see, you're not a "birther" or a "truther" so what would the liberals call you, a Muslim-er? We're supposed to believe everything we're told by the left otherwise we're considered to be crazy right-wing, conspiricists.

  • objectivefactsmatter

As old Joe often says, "Islam is a religion of peace." Of course we trust them! They're the children of Abraham too!

  • Kurt W Kesler

LOL didn't Reagan do the same thing?

  • Adrian

I think its best for us to just let the Syrian conflict play out its course. Who ever wins will be no friend of ours and will spit in our face when they have secured power regardless of any assistance we give. There are too many fingers in this pie for us to get involved not to mention the radical islamist groups sponsored by Turkey, Saudi arabia etc. that are gravitating to this conflict and being killed by Assads forces. Let them kill each other, spend their wealth and blood in this conflict. How is this nothing but a big positive for us. Let the organisation of islamic countries fix this problem instead of blaming and relying on the west. Its their culture and religion that has caused and exacerbated this conflict not us.
Arming supporting, training and financing the MB is the most stupid thing we can do in Syria as well as in Egypt. Its like arming and funding the Nazis!

  • Paul Weston

If Tunisia, Egypt, Iran, Libya etc had installed non-Islamist governments after their revolutions, then there might be an argument in backing the Free Syrian Army. However, we know they did not, so any backing of anti-Assad forces today makes a very clear statement – "We are backing Al-qaeda and the Muslim Brotherhood." There is simply no other way of looking at it.
