(CBS) “Now at least Federal authorities Might be Able to Punish the Filmmaker.”

Just remember this is about parole violations, not about suppression of free speech, just ask reliable CBS leftist Dan Raviv .
RAVIV: I’m Dan Raviv in Washington. The short movie posted on YouTube has had a lot of diplomatic impact. It was *clearly* designed to insult the Prophet Mohammed, and a senior Obama administration official told CBS News last week that no one in the Middle East seems to believe that the US government could not stop the film from getting out. Now at least Federal authorities might be able to *punish* the filmmaker.”
When asked about it on Twitter, Raviv dug his hole even deeper.
For those who ask I wasn’t praising effort2 punish filmmaker(anti-Muhammad film). I was reporting US officials want 2show total disapproval.

Raviv has a point, obviously the arrest took place because the Obama Administration wants to show total disapproval. But does Dan Raviv actually understand what he’s saying?
Dan Raviv, despite his name and the impression he tries to give by talking about the Mossad, is not an Israeli, though he has worked as a correspondent in Israel. This is not a case of a foreigner making a mistake about American laws. This is an American media pro talking openly about punishing the Mohammed moviemaker.
