Democratic Party Field Director Caught Plotting to Create 100 Fake Votes (VIDEO)

Don’t get too confident about the election just yet. Romney is ahead in the polls, but so long as the election is within stealing distance, then it isn’t over.

Yesterday Virginia Congressman James Moran sent out a letter to Attorney General Holder asking for a voter fraud investigation aimed at Strategic Allied Consulting as part of a preemptive “Republicans Stole the Election” narrative.

Today Project Veritas has released a video showing his son, Patrick Moran, a field director for the Moran campaign, providing some neat voter fraud tips to beat the Virginia Voter ID law.

The problem was a simple one. 100 names on voter records equals 100 votes. And two guys looking to go out and vote early and often, one hundred times. All that was needed was were some ID documents. And that’s where James O’Keefe’s story begins.

When approached by an undercover investigator for advice on how to steal the votes of more than 100 people, Moran advised falsifying documents to satisfy Virginia’s new voter ID law. He said, “Bank statement obviously would be tough, but they can fake a utility bill with ease.”

Moran went on to clarify that, “You’d have to forge it.”

Stealing distance.

Where are all the trolls and their "Move along folks, nothing to see here…" comments?

This isn't as damning as the lede makes it sound. Moran was obviously surprised and uncomfortable with the proposal to cheat. That doesn't justify his eventual decision to provide advice on how to do the deed, but even at that point he seems to be trying to discourage the reporter. Moran is responsible for his actions, and he's not the only one whose been caught on camera. Yet, if this were so common, the people being approached by these undercover guys would be a lot more used to it.
