Did Deputy National Security Advisor Denis McDonough Rewrite the CIA Talking Points

I’ve said before that the hunt for the talking points is a mousetrap that distracts from the larger question of why Obama and his staff chose to misrepresent the video when their knowledge of the events were not limited by any set of talking points. The CIA talking points offer someone like Rice plausible deniability, even though there’s nothing plausible about it, since there was widely distributed evidence that an Al Qaeda linked militia had carried out a planned attack.

Still we are now closer to knowing just who altered the CIA talking points. Or rather we’ve narrowed it down, according to Congressman Mike Rogers, the House Intel Chair, to the National Security Council Deputies Committee.

“The intelligence community had it right, and they had it right early. What happened was it worked its way up through the system of the so-called talking points, which everyone refers to, and then it went up to what’s called a deputy’s committee…It went to the so-called deputy’s committee, that’s populated by appointees from the administration.  That’s where the narrative changed.

The National Security Council Deputies Committee consists of;

Denis McDonough, the Deputy National Security Advisor and a former senior fellow at the far left Center for American Progress

James N. Miller, the Under Secretary of Defense for Policy, and a former Senior Vice President and Director of Studies at the Center for a New American Security, also on the left.

Wendy R. Sherman, the Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs, and a top Democratic activist and Clinton ally.

And finally Michael Morell, Petraeus’ Deputy Director at the CIA and his replacement. Unlike the other three, Morrell is not notably affiliated with the left.

Of the three political appointees, Denis McDonough met with Muslim Brotherhood groups linked to Hamas and took the lead in blaming the video.

A top White House official has blasted as “truly abhorrent” the anti-Islam film which appears to have triggered an outpouring of violence against U.S. diplomatic posts in Egypt and Libya.

Speaking to an international religious freedom conference in Washington Wednesday, Deputy National Security Adviser Denis McDonough endorsed efforts to create “a world where the dignity of all people—and all faiths—is respected.”

According to his prepared remarks released by the White House, he then added: “This work takes on added urgency given the truly abhorrent video that has offended so many people–Muslims, and non-Muslims alike—in our country and around the world.”

That makes Denis McDonough a front runner in the Benghazigate competition.

Wendy Sherman met with a Hezbollah ally and is America’s top negotiator with Iran and is probably the second choice.

I doubt this McDonough guy's ever heard of the First Amendment to the Constitution.

Seems to me that most leftists like to go on about freedom of speech but don't really respect what it means. Except their speech of course.

Why has Pres. Obama, Sec. of State Clinton, UN ambassador Rice, and CIA Director David Petraeus blamed the Benghazi, Libya incident on the YouTube video? Could it be they are using to opportunity to sell the need for UN Resolution 16/18 to us and to incite the Middle East for good measure?
The video issue is all about the White House selling us and the world on UN Resolution 16/18. It will get rid of our First amendment. Keep in mind the UN Resolution 16/18 initiation was about the same time as Fast & Furious government project which was designed to inflame the Mexico and get Obama’s Democrat Party faithful all riled up so he could get rid of our Second amendment. Obama’s ultimate goal is UN Secretary-General and he is using the Muslim Brotherhood to reach it. Is ruling the world by Shariah/Islamic law out of the question for Obama? What about him running a world Caliphate? I never leave anything out of being a possibility for someone that plays nice with communists, socialists, Marxists, Islamists, progressive, liberal, left-wing radicals he associates himself with.

Our government, especially the PINO (president in name only) is a web of brown recluse spiders! They protect their own and are quick to inflict deadly stings to anyone who opposes them!

The real question here, what is the lowest ranking person the Obama administration can throw under the bus?

The communist scum Obama appointees delude themselves into thinking when the dictatorship of the enlightened elites (themselves) takes over, they'll be able to subdue those emotional crazy Islamists. The opposite will happen and the Islamists will behead them all as the unreliable traitorous weasels they are.

The Left believes that the end justifies the means, which means that they have adopted a belief system that is the antithesis to ethics and morals. The continually violate the law and common decency, which makes them essentially a political crime syndicate, just like the Mafia, only far more ruthless and sinister.

That they edited the CIA assessment is a forgone conclusion. Now we have the difficult job of ferreting out the truth about the most crminal administration in history. Even if we do find the full truth, I don't believe that any Democrats would vote for impeachment. The moral turpitude of the Democratic Party rivals the Bolsheviks or Nazis, and even if Obama was impeached, I would give even odds that he would refuse to comply and force a civil war rather than forfeit power.

Ok, so someone in the upper echelons altered the talking points. That does not mean that the top ranks, Obama, Rice, Clinton, did not know the truth. If it were that my underlings were lying to me they would be out of a job in an New York second. Ops! forgot Sandy, a New York second is now three or four months, and it is not the underlings that need to be called to the table.

It's more like the nut shell con. The buck stops where? Keeping looking under the nut to see who to blame…never mind that before all of this activity we already knew the salient points.
