Did Saddam Hussein’s Former Arms Dealer Get Obama Elected?

Daniel Greenfield, a Shillman Journalism Fellow at the Freedom Center, is a New York writer focusing on radical Islam. He is completing a book on the international challenges America faces in the 21st century.

John A. Shaw was the Deputy Undersecretary of Defense for International Technology Security and served on the White House staffs of three administrations here who was fired for telling the truth about Iraq. These revelations are not new, but they are succinctly summarized here.

In the run-up to the 2012 election, a story surfaced about an Iraqi billionaire who managed to buy access to Washington policy makers while funding a Chicago Pay-to-Play scheme that helped produce a Governor, a U.S. Senator, and, ultimately, a President of the United States.

The story was eight years in the making, yet despite the extent of his political influence, this Iraqi’s name remains widely unknown. He wants it that way. In fact, he has spent millions of dollars to hinder the reporting of his activities by the news media. The lack of attention paid to him, however, is inversely proportional to his level of importance.

His name is Nadhmi Auchi.

He was once Saddam Hussein’s arms merchant. He morphed into Saddam’s main financial operative in Europe. Today, he is one of the richest men in the world, and has, over the last few decades, been a player in nearly every noteworthy, corrupt, international deal involving Europe and the Middle East.

His U.S. visa was revoked for his alleged facilitation of $30 million in bribes to American and British officials in Iraq.

Auchi’s Chicago proxy was a man named Tony Rezko, best known for his curious land deal with Obama. Rezko reportedly used Auchi money to grease political skids and buy access into the shadowy world of the Chicago political machine.

With Rezko on the ground there, the Auchi-Rezko combine created an Arab-American network linking Chicago and the Middle East in ways that brought financial support to two promising, Illinois politicians: Rod Blagojevich and Barack Obama.

You win some. You lose some.

And from American Thinker, a small dessert piece on the globalization of voter fraud.

Although 80,000 illegal aliens voted in 1982, the old-fashioned way, through vote fraud; by 2005 both Cook County and the state of Illinois had moved to allow photo I.D. to be given to illegal immigrants by passing matricula consular laws.

By allowing the matricula consular to function as an official photo I.D., Illinois and Chicago can say they are conforming to any Voter ID requirement. But the Cook County law (most Illinois illegal immigrants live in Cook County) also allows the consulates of Mexico and “any other Latin American country” to issue the consular I.D.s at their discretion. In effect, Illinois has enabled foreign countries to decide who votes in U.S. elections.

In 1983 an alien born in Belize stated to the Chicago Tribune that he and his two sisters were never required to show any identification when they registered to vote. The matricula consular enables people to reside in Illinois, and once they reside there, they need no ID to register to vote. This “globalization” of voting rights is clearly a violation of the U.S. Constitution, yet has never been challenged in any court during its ten year history. This supports the idea that Chicago’s goal is to attract large numbers of undocumented residents from all countries.

Some say that money is the root of all evil. Not so, money can be used for much good and used to be considered as a type of "love". The true evil is the satanic power in minds and hears of men. Take away the power of men over men in slavery, weapons, oil, and drugs these are all used for evil ends. the US Corporation is a criminal enterprise and they are using OUR TAX money…the fruit of our life energy for evil. What do we do? A moral people would not allow this to be. We have been hijacked and lied to and stolen from. Our very lives and souls are in grave jeopardy under this illegal usurper regime. We were sold into bondage long ago to the IMF. We need to get out of this corrupt system. There is a de Jure republic that has taken up the vacancy created when the deFacto US Corporation was formed and has claimed it with our organic founding documents intact. This can happen: http://www.republicfortheunitedstates.org

"Some say that money is the root of all evil. Not so, money can be used for much good and used to be considered as a type of "love". The true evil is the satanic power in minds and hears of men."

      OK…

"Take away the power of men over men in slavery, weapons, oil, and drugs these are all used for evil ends."

      Slavery is not good.
Weapons are regrettable but whatever exists must be managed or countered etc.
Oil is evil? OK, your lack of sanity has been verified.

"the US Corporation is a criminal enterprise and they are using OUR TAX money"

Coo-coo for Cocoa Puffs insane. The US government has been infiltrated. The entity itself is merely a tool to organize and still has legitimacy as long as there is a clear path to return it to lawful behavior.

We the body politic have more to be ashamed of then the US government does collectively. We've empowered those who corrupted it, and we need to take corrective action in the courts and voting booths. And, we need to prepare for elections from today till we're done. That means lobbying and educating people about the salient facts.

Socialist policies are a luxury. Most of them are not affordable right now. Most "social justice" rhetoric serves only to deceive people in to thinking that coercive communism is the only solution for our need to reach our Utopian existence that we all so richly deserve.

Islam is not a religion of peace. It does not deserve expanded protection beyond protections for individual worship. Rights are not held collectively. There is no religious right to conspire against our nation or civilization. Not here in the USA anyway.

We've allowed lies about history to go unchallenged that originated in the evil minds of communists and Islamic imperialists. We need to openly and aggressively challenge these lies, and return to the truths that we were founded on.

The USA is not perfect. It's just the best system of government we can come up with. These supposed alternatives are all based on lies. We can deal with these liars when we destroy the lies. If for example it was widely known what a big fat liar the president is, we'd have him cornered if not jailed.

We don't need the guns yet. We don't need a revolution. We need a restoration. That is still feasible if we work within the system. I don't know how long that will be the case, but it's true today. Then again, Iran getting nukes is a bigger deal than any domestic policies currently being debated. So if someone has a plan to take direct action against Iran as our federal government refuses, then I'm all ears.

Obama is less than six degrees separated from all the players in Chicago-pay-to-play, a mafioso not unlike the crime cartels from Sicily. And Auchi, a major arms dealer bar none, reins supreme in Chicagoland. That's a fact. Valerie Jarrett is up to her eyeballs in their funny money too.Don't get me started on Rhambo either.

And those who still believe that thugs-in-suits are not running Washington like a criminal cartel have not been paying attention, or they just don't care. But what else can one expect when one surrounds themselves with the most radical regime in U.S. history – http://adinakutnicki.com/2012/10/07/when-authenti

The fish not only stinks from the head up, it is up to its gills in criminal activity!

"Glen Beck outed this before the first Obama election but nobody was listening!"

And still aren't. It's all considered racism to talk it.

      • slider 96

Not really , its because Beck is a wacvko , and no sane people give him any credibility . Just like this nonsense article by Greenfield .

        • objectivefactsmatter

"Not really , its because Beck is a wacvko"

Really? Jimmy Carter didn't say and hasn't continued to say that those who criticize 0'Bama are motivated by racism? Many others didn't take that shameful statement and run with it from then till today (several years now)?

"and no sane people give him any credibility"

When discussing politics, I don't care who says what. I look at evidence. Beck, credible? Not on his own word. But we don't need Beck's credibility because most if not all of this can be confirmed independently.

"Just like this nonsense article by Greenfield ."

Nonsense to 0'Bama sycophants. Nonsense to traitors and dupes of Islam. We have clear evidence of Saudi support for 0'Bama (one could even suppose he feels and has huge debts to them) going back to his college application. I don't need to know if another rich corrupt Muslim chipped in. Really, it's not even that important but it is consistent. It makes a lot of sense.

The key thing about Saddam and the Americans is the Americans were sure that Saddam used gas to kill the Kurds. Why you may ask, simply the americans supplied the gas, just after they put Saddam into power. Saddam's only mistake was to start to trade oil in Euro instead of Dollars, that was his downfall. I don't think Obama took money from arms dealers, he didn't have to, he finished the first election with a surplus of $600 million. Obama has another 4 years, he has to leave then, so stop the thinly veiled racism, it is not nice and nobody gains.

    • objectivefactsmatter

"Saddam's only mistake was to start to trade oil in Euro instead of Dollars, that was his downfall."

Yes. The invasion of Kuwait was trivial. Maintaining terror training centers and producing items to camouflage small bombs for suicide attacks, all trivial. Favoring the Euro is what got us really upset and he had to die at that point.

"I don't think Obama took money from arms dealers, he didn't have to, he finished the first election with a surplus of $600 million."

Wow. The logic here is pretty scary. He doesn't need the money because he already took it. So therefore he must not have taken any because he clearly didn't need to take it once it was counted…after he took it…did I get that right? And since he has to leave after 8 years (we hope).

"Obama has another 4 years, he has to leave then, so stop the thinly veiled racism, it is not nice and nobody gains."

Thinly veiled? It's openly racist to have any expectations whatsoever about any non-white. We just can't judge them in any way, shape or form. To expect anything is pure racism. Nothing veiled about it. If they manage to do well, then we're all so happy. If not, then we just wait around for them to evolve. It's our obligation as the superior race of non-racists.

      • Dublin Shay

I like your comment on racism …very clever and shows that your "took it" comment on Obama is a deliberate misrepresentation, not a misunderstanding of what I said, you should be careful about making statements like that, and be clear he did not need money because his money was donated by individuals around the globe mainly in small amounts of $20.

        • objectivefactsmatter

"I like your comment on racism …very clever and shows that your "took it" comment on Obama is a deliberate misrepresentation, not a misunderstanding of what I said, you should be careful about making statements like that, and be clear he did not need money because his money was donated by individuals around the globe mainly in small amounts of $20."

In plain English, you say; Blah blah blah, I can't really come up with a response other than to say no matter what else, he really didn't need to take it because he had small donors all over the world making automated deposits that crept under the reporting laws. Therefore he is innocent, indeed he is the messiah as evidenced by the fact that it is widely reported that he received a lot of small donations from around the world.

Great. Global funding for the president who wants to sell out our nation. So Saudi funding? No problem. Foreign funding of unknown origin? That just proves he "didn't really need" the Saudi funding.

They cancel each other out? Is that your point?

He is supposed to be the president of the USA upholding the USA constitution. He's a traitor funded by foreign enemies. Even you admit that implicitly.

          • Dublin Shay

Yes, in plain English you are right. No need for the histrionics about traitors, very little cash came from outside the West, they don't have $20. Your basic thesis that everybody outside hates the US is wrong, most appreciate the sophistication of American foreign policy and the benefits it has accrued to the west since WW2. Just because we know some of the savage and cruel details does not make us bad. As regards Saudi funding, remember the only 2 aircraft in the air after 9 11 over the US was Airforce 1 and the Bin Laden's jet. To suggest Obama had powerful international connections prior to his first election is frankly ridiculous, he was a black kid whose mother was a single mum. A bit like Justin Beiber a nice looking kid with talent, it happens they can get places on their own.

"…very little cash came from outside the West, they don't have $20."

You're in over your head. It's $20 per transaction, not per donor.

"Your basic thesis that everybody outside hates the US is wrong,"

I never said any such thing. We have enemies, and we have their dupes and infiltrators. How does that translate in to everyone hating the US? You have no clue as to the extent of my knowledge about opinions from various peoples and cultures, and the firsthand experience it is derived from. Most people do not hate the USA. Even many of our enemies admire it in a way. They're still our enemies and you can't follow the discussion. That's why you're arguing.

          • objectivefactsmatter

"most appreciate the sophistication of American foreign policy and the benefits it has accrued to the west since WW2"

            This is false.

          • objectivefactsmatter

"Just because we know some of the savage and cruel details does not make us bad."

In theory, no. In reality, it's more likely you believe lies. Does that make you bad? Are you accountable for finding evidence before forming your opinions? These days, most don't even acknowledge the concept. It's good enough to parrot popular belief.

          • objectivefactsmatter

"As regards Saudi funding, remember the only 2 aircraft in the air after 9 11 over the US was Airforce 1 and the Bin Laden's jet."

You're going to need to be a little more detailed in your claims before I respond. I think I know what you're getting at. 0"bama was not the first Saudi dupe by any stretch. I said yesterday the problem started with FDR if you want Whitehouse blame, or you could go back further if you want. But, no president has ever been so committed to the Saudis to the extent that their interests come first because their interests are seen as good or benign whereas the interests of the USA are seen as evil or bad by 0'Bama and other traitors. They hate American hegemony. Any Westerner who hates American hegemony is a traitor to their culture. We're just the biggest cousin and it's really Western hegemony.

Nice borrowed story from American Thinker , Greenfield .They're still griping about the notorious Connecticut social security number , a good indicator of the low mentality website you got your story from . Too bad its all baloney .
To register to vote in Illinois you must: •Be a United States citizen.
•At least 18 years old by Election Day.
•A resident of your precinct for at least 30 days prior to an election.
•You can not be convicted and in jail.
•You can not claim the right to vote anywhere else.
Those are the rules for registering and voting in Cook County

    • FPF

Only legal citizens will follow the rules, illegals will not. That's why they are called illegals. Just like no matter how harsh the gun law will become, criminals will always find a way to get one. Laws and rules are for law abiding citizens, not criminals or illegals.
