Eric “Mexican Drug Guns” Holder Wants to Discuss How to Ban Guns in a Responsible Way

Lately it seems like our leaders constantly want to “discuss” things with us. It used to be that principals and doctors would want to “discuss” things with us, like our grades or lack of exercise. Now everyone single time there’s a crackdown it begins with a “serious discussion”.

Attorney General Eric Holder made remarks a short time ago on the tragic school shootings in Newtown, Connecticut, where a 20-year-old gunman killed 20 children and six adults. Holder appeared to suggest the country’s gun laws may need to be looked at more closely in the wake of the latest mass shooting.

“As a nation I think we have to ask ourselves some hard questions. We gather too often to talk about these kinds of incidents. We need to discuss who we are as a nation, talk about the freedoms that we have, the rights that we have and how those might be used in a responsible way.”

Please, by all means, let’s have a discussion about how the Second Amendment can be used in a responsible way from a man who ran a gun candy store for Mexican drug lords.

The only thing that we need more than a serious discussion about race from the New Black Panther Party’s advocate who called us a “Nation of Cowards”, is for some “hard questions” about the right to bear arms from a man who killed thousands as a ploy to sabotage that right.

But by all means, let’s ask some serious and responsible questions about guns. Such as why there were no armed personnel in a school, after countless school shootings. How about asking what the point of a gun-free zone is when that gun-free zone means that everyone inside is disarmed?

And here’s a relevant question, what is the point of background checks when the school shooter was able to get guns through his mother despite being a, “headcase”?

But those aren’t the serious questions that Eric “Mexican Drug Guns” Holder wants to discuss with us. What he wants to do is salami slice the Second Amendment some more. Maybe have a serious conversation led by Oprah and Carolyn McCarthy, Long Island’s own Cindy Sheehan, whose husband got killed by Colin “Black Rage” Ferguson, and all she got out of it was 15 years in Congress.

But by all means, let’s have a serious discussion about why the states with the highest rate of gun ownership have the lowest rate of gun violence.

Let's discuss why our junkyards are better guarded than our schools.

"Please, by all means, let’s have a discussion about how the Second Amendment can be used in a responsible way from a man who ran a gun candy store for Mexican drug lords."

That sums up my reaction perfectly.

Arizona is a "gun candy store " for Mexicans . Once a citizen purchases a firearm at a Show or from a gun shop , that citrizen can sell any weapon any quantity to any stranger without any documentation whatsoever . That's why there are over 40,000 assorted weapons in a Mexican Army Wharehouse . All confiscated from drug dealers all coming from the US . It was only a matter of chance that one of those killed an American Border Guard , Fast and Furious and the resulting acrimony and accusations are mere partisan politics , as the argument of those good citizens in Arizona can rightly claim what they are doing is perfectly legal and the border is not their problem . That is true , just as it is true that when they sell those weapons to no name Mexicans absolute strangers , milling around outside those Gun Shows and Gun shops in large and small numbers , they know damn well where they ARE going to . .

In September 2009, the Mexican government provided ATF with “electronic files containing firearms identifiers and recovery data. The electronic files contained information that initiated over 43,000 firearms traces, excluding duplicates, with most having recovery years ranging from CY 2007 to 2009,” according to information given to the press.

The majority of the sales linked back to the U.S. according to this trace data, actually come from government to government sales, not from normal sales made in American gun shops. Despite this fact, anti-gun groups and members of Congress use this misleading data to push for more gun control and regulations on retail stores.

You know….except for the above…you would be right. Thanks for trying.

Is it legfal for the Arizoina citizens to engage in this ? Absolutely . Is the Border a Federal problem ? Damn Right it is ? Is it responsible and moral , knowing that 60,000 Mexicans a year are being killed , most by these weapons and many being innocent ? HELL NO !

So, what's your response to government gun running…..Fast and Furious?

And by the way, the majority of weapons used in Mexico are being bought or stolen from MEXICAN authorities…..or smuggled in through other means…they are using automatic weapons and grenades. Those aren't found in gun stores and gun shows.

I makes sense to make all guns illegal…just like drugs

    • Bob

And how is that war on drugs working out?

The right to own and bear arms clause, to the 2nd Amendment, was put in the Bill of Rights, by the founding fathers for a definitive reason. The 2nd have been under constant attack by over zealous, anti-gun advocates for decades. History have shown, that a disarmed citizenry, becomes an enslaved nation, that would be left to an untold amount of government abuse. Just ask the Russians, Chinese, and Germans, Cubans. They all went from being disarmed, to genocide, at the point of a government gun.
