Larmondo “Flair” Allen: Another Obama Job Creator

Daniel Greenfield, a Shillman Journalism Fellow at the Freedom Center, is a New York writer focusing on radical Islam. He is completing a book on the international challenges America faces in the 21st century.

When Obama said that government creates jobs, he probably had Larmondo “Flair” Allen in mind. Allen, a self-described entrepreneur, was shot on Martin Luther King Boulevard by rival entrepreneurs in his very competitive line of work. Dead at the age of 25, Larmondo “Flair” Allen leaves behind an unmarried companion, Kawanner Armstrong, three sons, Christian Allen, Kwan Allen and Larmondo Allen, Jr, as well as six daughters, Deidra Allen, Larmenshell Allen, Lamonshea Allen, Larmomdriel Allen, Larmerja Allen, Korevell Allen… reportedly if he had a seventh daughter he planned to name her, Lampshade Allen, but that sadly never came to pass.

One of fourteen children from at least six different fathers, Larmondo “Flair” Allen went into the family business early collecting 950 dollars each in welfare checks for each of his nine children for a total of $8,550 a month. which with other benefits comes out to over $100,000 a year.

The good news is that government jobs like these, unlike private sector jobs, do not end with the death of the “man” in the family. Larmondo’s death frees up his companion and many children to collect even more welfare checks which will create even more government jobs for the people who print welfare checks, the people who sign them and the people who collect the taxes that goes to fund the welfare checks.

With more Americans than ever on welfare, Obama’s job creation engine is running smoothly fueled by great men like Larmondo “Flair” Allen who don’t do the work that the rest of us don’t want to not do.

Another case of a black male doing jobs that most Americans won't do — collecting checks in return for doing nothing and giving innumerable out-of-wedlock offspring funny-sounding names.

    • Get_It_straight

While black males may collect welfare more often than we like the truth is that there are more white welfare recipients in the US than black.

      • stellap

Not surprising, since whites make up 78% of the population in the USA. 16.7% of those are Hispanic.

DUH!!! Yes and blacks represent 14% +/- of the population. 67% of the prisoners in the United States are non-white, give me a break GETITSTRAIGHT

It's really not unusual .Not are there entire communities of Allen's but fraud is just as common.
We witnesses all the time in IL and MO.
A welfare mother 's house caught fire ,while she was out partying ,her 13 children burned to death. The oldest child home was 11.She gave birth to her 14th in prison .
A welfare mother was caught voting multiple times. She was found to have 18 SS cards and claimed 32 children as dependents ,8 were actually hers and the others were relatives children she used to collect benefits .

I would assume that GPS units are frequently programmed to direct drivers away from any throughfare named after Martin Luther King. Or at least I would hope so.

Ironic when you consider that he was dedicated to non-violence.

. I laugh at afro-names, ridiculous tattoos and piercings, 'COEXIST" bumper stickers, and 1,001 other things that make me laugh. I am going to laugh all the way to the Re-education Camp and I'm going to laugh there too so they will have to kill me but I won't be too sorry to leave this porn palace freak show of a country.

  • justaguest

Is there any source material for this, or is this a satire?

  • PostalDeb

Another Obama job creator? This obituary is from 2004. That was when Bush was in office, correct? But I get it, being a smart girl from NH. Obama is black, the guy who died was black, all his children have "black" names so you all can assume they're all on welfare because, after all, they're all black. But do a little fact checking before you spew forward all your age-old hate for the impoverished coloreds….In Louisiana, this (now) single mother with 9 children would receive $512/month with a lifetime limit of collecting this for 5 years. She'd be able to get another $500/mo roughly in food stamps and probably get some housing assistance as well. And lets keeping hating those 9 children because, after all, it's their fault they were born into this lovely family.

    • deb

Don't forget free cell phones, chips, medicaid, free school lunches, etc.

    • gjh

You forgot the free medical care, dental care, etc etc etc.

    • kditty

It's not about 2004 and Bush and Republicans… it's about liberals creating a DEPENDENT SOCIETY, all for the sake of votes !!1 Get it now Postal???

  • Freedom of Speech

Yes, PostalDeb, it is the typical racist, lying chain letter that the Repugs always send around. And around. And around. But that is not the saddest part. The saddest part is that they all believe EVERYTHING they read! I have never seen a more ignorant mindset in my life…and it's getting worse. But you know why it's getting worse? Because they are losing ground and support… Good luck with Mittens Romney…Is that really the best you could do??

    • lee

The saddest part is that is true. How about an update on the kids?

  • sally

you all need to figure out your facts before you tsalk about people

  • sally A.

You all need to figure out your facts about people before you all want to talk and judge people. There is only one person the can judge and tha'ts god.You all don't know anything about him or what his life was like or what he had to go through so stop judging and being racist.

    • http://twitter.com/undefined @undefined

I don't think it is a racist issue, per se, as there are more whites on welfare than blacks. This young man just happens to be black. The real issue is lask of personal responsibility, and bad choices in life. If the young man hadn't fathered all those unfortunate children and then not supported them, they wouldn't all end up on welfare, with others paying their bills. It doesn't matter what your race, age, or gender is. It matters if you make choices that you don't have the means to be responsible for; namely, bringing children into the world that you can't take care of and then expecting OTHER PEOPLE to pay the price FOR you. That's irresponsible and wrong! Only the individuals who make those bad choices are responsible for those choices. Why should OTHERS take responsibility? YOU wouldn't like it if they dropped the child support bill on YOUR doorstep if they weren't YOUR kids, would you? That's what this young man has done.

How about this research – the arrest and police record of Larmondo "Flair" Allen…
You can't make this stuff up. "Averages" is not in question here. If just one apple is rotten, it will rot the ones around it.
Grow up, and face the facts. Anyone who defends or makes excuses for this 'entrepreneur', is the one who is showing prejudice. http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&…

  • SteveNics

Hmm, always the race thing. And appears that only whites are racist. And that being so, just for having a white skin. Im proud to be white and if that means being racist, per say, then Im proud of that too. Ironically, blacks are also racist, but they not proud to be black.

  • David D

I wish someone could explain why $950.00 is legal for each child, and where are the checks and balances? This is welfare at it's worst.

  • Peter

Except it's not true. I mean "Flair" is true. But the welfare part isn't. See http://www.copinthehood.com/2010/05/right-wing-li

Do your home work… this took place in 2004… hhmmmm… I seem to remember someone else being President… does GWB ring a bell… oh…. but I forgot…EVERYTHING IS OBAMA'S FAULT…

      • JimmyPete

gee Nixon, Reagan , Bush 1, Bush 2 couldn’t control it. you don’t even know if this is real , what paper was it in. Limbaugh News?

        • Pervis Nelson III

Reagan tried to cut this stuff but the Dems shutdown the government to keep it. this has been proven time and again. Look into the Cato Institute studies exposing that the left wing only calls TANF “welfare,” while ignoring food stamps, housing aid, OBAMAPHONES!, medical subsidies, and a whole world of state-run welfare. You can live on a average of $15/hr ($31,200 – tax free – so $2,600/month – which is about a $65,000-$70,000 salary to a tax payer) and that is in the “non-generous” states. You can make $20/hr in generous ones. Look it up man. Why hate taxpayers, they do not hate you! :)

          • JimmyPete

funny Reagan got his Tax cuts passed and he had a veto which if I recall he wasn’t shy about using, and the so called Obamaphone program started under him, ReaganPhones, btw we are all pretty much tax payers, the 47% is made up mainly of Children , Students and seniors, with a few disabled thrown in, even those who don’t pay income taxes pay FICA, and sales, you want welfare look at the Ag subsides going to millionaires and billionaires! check that out , never heard anyone complaining from the right wing.

          • Act2

That is bogus. Started under cliton and it was intended for rural phones only. Obammy perverted it like other handouts. Saying reagan did is like saying the common cold is equivalent to aids since both are viruses!

          • JimmyPete

Ha wrong again stop watching Fox ahttp://www.alternet.org/election-2012/ring-wing-goes-crazy-over-obama-phones-which-are-actually-reagan-phones

          • frankie d

Yes. it was reagan (i’m a reagan man), and WAS intended for rural poor/etc.

  • moskos

You re-post forwarded right-wing email as truth? Did you even consider checking the facts? As a “Shillman Journalism Fellow,” you set an amazing journalistic standard.

    • Pervis Nelson III

Umm, he did check the facts, this has been proven time and again. Look into the Cato Institute studies exposing that the left wing only calls TANF “welfare,” while ignoring food stamps, housing aid, OBAMAPHONES!, medical subsidies, and a whole world of state-run welfare. • moskos

Cato, with a very generous definition of welfare, says the “complete welfare package” — for a family, not an individual — in Louisiana is $26,538. The rest of your math just makes no sense (like how $2,600/month adds up to $65,000-$70,000 a year).

        • PE_Carroll

Start by adding Section 8 taxpayer subsidized housing, food stamps for nine kids, medicaid health care bills for 9 kids, at least one but probably more than one tax payer subsidized “free to the poor/deadbeat” cell phone, and God knows what other freebies they manage to glom onto and I think you will approach $100k.

          • moskos

I understand you think that. But you’re wrong. Cato does all that (and trust me, they’re on your side). And they come up with $26,538.

  • Pervis Nelson III

This has been proven time and again.
