MSNBC’s Apartheid Convention Coverage

Imagine if FOX News cut away each time a minority speaker came to the podium? Within a few hours it would be the topic of every cable news show from now until the year 2073. Now imagine that a progressive liberal news network does it. But the good news is that you don’t have to imagine it. If you watch MSNBC, you’re living it.

When popular Tea Party candidate Ted Cruz, the GOP nominee for Senate, took the stage, MSNBC cut away from the Republican National Convention and the Hispanic Republican from Texas’ speech. MSNBC stayed on commercial through former Democratic Rep. Artur Davis’ speech, as well. Davis, who recently became a Republican, is black.

Then, when Puerto Rican Governor Luis Fortuno’s wife Luce’ Vela Fortuño took the stage minutes later, MSNBC hosts Rachel Maddow and Chris Matthews opted to talk over the First Lady’s speech. And Nevada Gov. Brian Sandoval? Noticeably missing from MSNBC, too. Mia Love, a black candidate for Congress in Utah, was also ignored by MSNBC.

Perhaps some producers at MSNBC feel that if they don’t show minority Republicans, they will just vanish into thin air. Or perhaps they think that their viewers are gullible enough to accept that there are no black Republicans, if they don’t see them on MSNBC.

Behavior like this is the difference between a news network and a propaganda network.

These "journalists" must have interned for Pravda.

It's true. MSNBC cut away any chance they could so that we could listen to Ed Schultz, Chris Mathews, Rachel Maddow and company spew personal attack and liberal dissent at every turn. One need only DVR MSNBC coverage of the RNC convention and compare their coverage with Fox News DNC convention coverage to compare and contrast. It will be easy to see why Fox beats by a wide margin CNN and MSNBC in the ratings. People want truth in advertising, truth in politics, and truth in media coverage more than lies, propaganda, and media bias like we see at Al Jazeerah and MSNBC.

Don't forget, this is the same MSNBC who hired a race-baiter to be an anchorman.
