Muslim Cartoonophobia/Moviephobia Death Toll Up to 19

It would appear that more people have died due to Muslim Cartoonophobia/Moviephobia than due to Islamophobia. Maybe all those resources that our governments have been devoting to combating Islamophobia and teaching tolerance could be put to better use teaching Muslims to tolerate cartoons, movies and other forms of art.

The protests initially sparked in Egypt on Tuesday, spreading within hours to Libya, where U.S. Ambassador to Libya Christopher Stevens and three of his aides were killed after attackers set the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi on fire. The death toll ticked higher on Friday, when Tunisian media reported at least two protesters had been killed and 29 wounded clashing with police in Tunis.

Lebanese media reported one person had been killed in Tripoli, while Agence France-Presse reports two people lost their lives after protesters stormed past police to raise a black Islamic flag at the U.S. Embassy in Khartoum, Sudan.  Meanwhile, at least five protesters were killed in Yemen in clashes around the U.S. Embassy in Sana.

I foresee an entire tolerance industry dedicated solely to teaching Muslims how to get along with cartoons. It could begin with Tom and Jerry, which seems popular in the Muslim world, and Mickey Mouse, and then work all the way up to Mohammed wearing mouse ears and being chased around by a cat. With slow degrees of exposure, Muslims might actually be able to see another Mohammed cartoon and just shrug, the way that normal people would.

"I foresee an entire tolerance industry dedicated solely to teaching Muslims how to get along with cartoons. It could begin with Tom and Jerry"

I think it's funny and said in jest. The sad fact is that if this were to happen it would have happened organically as Muslims grew up with Western media access. In fact, anyone who goes to a mosque for Friday prayers will be immediately reprogrammed with explicit language to reject ALL Western culture. This creates time-bombs in their minds with seething anger waiting for an outlet. Finally one day, a movement seems to arise that looks to us like a mere pretext…and it is only a pretext for the manipulative leaders…but the rage we see is genuine among those shedding the blood. They have anger build up from their fundamental texts, and ranting hateful mosque sermons.

This therapy suggestion is good in theory, but in fact would be merely just another thing to get angry over when the emotional damn bursts. Islam is incitement to violence. Period. Thank God most Muslims have decent souls and the inner conflict with their humanity keeps them from acting out. That does not justify us standing here and tolerating any of this nonsense without an ideological war against Islam and a kinetic war against violent actors and especially against those who incite them.

Declare war on Egypt until the Muslim Brotherhood steps down, and Egypt accepts a Japanese style constitution. Period. Islam needs the Shinto treatment, even if it eventually leads to WWIII. Better to fight the war on our terms rather than waiting for Iran and others to get nukes. The war will come. If we realize we are already under attack, we can still win it. If Iran gets nukes, we may easily lose not because Iran would have a pure military advantage (clearly they would not) but when factoring in the divided populations in the West and the naivete over Islam, we'd still be blaming ourselves even if Iran nuked us! We would NEVER muster the resolve to destroy Iran, and Muslims would launch wave after wave of attack until the liberals finally broke the political will of the government to fight. Shariah would then have won.

I can imagine what historians of the future will say about this video and cartoon series.

How can he have a "decent soul" if, as you note here, "anyone who goes to a mosque for Friday prayers will be immediately reprogrammed with explicit language to reject ALL Western culture." Have you ever watched average, ordinary Muslims? Noted in their behavior how beaten they are? If they have "souls," they belong to Allah or that big granddaddy ghost in the sky whose image they are forbidden to even imagine. It doesn’t matter if a Muslim wears traditional dress or a T-shirt and baseball cap. He's still a cipher without any of the individuality of even a Jehovah's Witness doorbell ringer.

The Moslems never seemed to riot over Popeye cartoons, which mockingly depicted them. Why is that?
