If you can number the years of polar bears in the Arctic and number the summers when the ice has gone for the season. That is how many times the polar bear has survived no ice season. If you look at the scientist and researchers, they are talking indirectly to the source of global warming. Trying to get them to quit what they are doing by making them guilty enought to stop using fossil fuel. That includes us who use the source of energy to have a comfortable life. Scientist and the researchers also can not go without these commodities either.

I guess nobody bothered to look at the paper. First, it is about "subarctic" European species - there no polar bears on the European mainland. Second, the paper is about "non-specialist mammals" and polar bears are as specialized as mammals get. Silly article that apparently fails the most basic sniff test.

Those touting "global warming" as a catastrophe are scientific ignoramuses. Check out how much the self-designated "environmentalists" actually know about science. The climate of the earth is continually changing, as it always has done. 10, 000 years ago was an Ice Age, and from around 1400 to the mid-19th century was another mini-Ice Age - thank goodness the climate has warmed up!

those purporting to believe in evolution, never actually WANT a species to evolve or go extinct - survival of the fittest. they can't waste buckets of money on bureacracy and air lifting sea turtles if they actually let nature play out .. well . naturally. interference is a must. Human activitiy is blamed on all extinctions, even if the species died out long before the industrial revolution.

Since they also believe in evolution, why not let polar bear evolve into a new species because of "global warming"? Isn't it animal cruelty not letting them evolve?
