If you haven’t had your fill of one-sided debates yet this week, here’s Allen West facing off in a debate against Patrick Murphy, a war veteran against a veteran of barfights. This is a contest that Democrats have put a lot of money into in order to get rid of Allen West. And Patrick Murphy is what they got for all that money.
Murphy proved to be an expert on current political events.
West interrupted his challenger twice during the forum. When Murphy said the U.S. is “spending billions of dollars a week in Iraq and Afghanistan,” West said “We’re out of Iraq.”

Champion barfighter Patrick Murphy claims that the “extremism” of the Tea Party and its non-alcoholic nature turned him off being a Republican.
“I used to be a Republican, but I got so tired of the extremism of the tea party,” said Murphy, who switched to the Democratic Party in 2011.
West later addressed the extremism charge in his closing remarks. West said he’s guided by the nation’s founding documents and the principles of limited government, fiscal responsibility, individual sovereignty, free markets and a strong national defense.
“If anyone says that those are extremist positions, well, I guess you’re just going to have to continue to call me extremist, because I will stand with the founding fathers on that,” West said.
