"I come to express my views, and do it with respect and less certainty that those who differ are delusional."

That's the problem with liberals. You think you can have your own views even when the facts aren't on your side. That's precisely why I replied to you, whether or not I like to argue, I hate lies.

You're less certain because you have no practice in searching for objective facts and reason. Thank you for completing my case for me.

Please don't take it personally, it's not. You seem nice enough. Your ideas however, are deadly. It leads to the circumstances we have today, and I'm not talking about the state of medical research, I'm talking about the state of politics in medicine as just one example.

EXACTLY, even the worst ones! That is my point. Not just this, having higher expectations from them means we get more effective leaders on a more frequent basis. The Democratic Party is anti-American and must be destroyed and replaced with a true opposition party that respects rule of law, the constitution, things like that. Is that too much to ask?

Is it?!

"That is your view. I said nothing about ideas, but since you mention it, I think they are both unrealistic and unhelpful to the nation"

I know you do. It was implied.

"I am particularly wary when someone claims others are delusional."

Should anyone care when you're the one who's delusional?

To continue with my case, let's look at Obama's execution of his policies. He wants to encourage fossil fuel independence, and he has some other ideas that are fine as visions, but his execution is not just flawed, but corrupt. Any Republican who did this would be jailed if he wasn't lynched before trial. I just can't imagine any Republican getting away with such a thing. Why? Because everyone knows that it's corrupt, except for liberals, who are so delusional that we can only expect their grand visions to work out through intense sincerity. Incompetence is never held against them. Even other liberals don't expect liberal politicians to have any business savvy so when Al Gore accidentally becomes rich from his advocacy, who will see that as corrupt? But George Bush has friendly relations with the Saudis and a family history in the oil business. This is seen as far more controversial than anything Gore ever did, and we know how much Gore made directly from his explicit political positions. Not only this, but Obama was part of ensuring he made truckloads of cash. Corruption? Of course not. What do you think, these are Republicans? No, they're just Democrats trying to help the world and things fell their way. Whatever.

That's just ranting off the top of my head. Get a grip. Refusing to see important real facts is one definition of delusion.

"and add that Republicans share in these problems we face and have their own capacity to be no less incompetent or malicious when it comes to running the country and ingratiating their constituencies."

Wrong. As people, Republicans are just as flawed, but their ideas are usually closer to realistic and helpful to the nation and it's values. That makes all of the difference in the world. Obama is the epitome of the delusional idiot who's breaking things whether intentionally or not. Comparing him to Bush for example as though there are relevant parallels is just stupid and simple-minded, but you hear this all the time.

"Let's see if I understand. The Democratic party is anti-democratic and anti-majority rule because it was voted into power by the majority of the voters which is actually just a coalition of minorities that slyly pose as a majority by being greater in numbers than the real majority."

You're missing the fact that bribery, fraud and deception was used. That is what falsifies it as a true democracy in the Western sense. There are definitely facts not stated explicitly in order to come to this conclusion. That's why I offered to help.

"Not only that but the representatives of this bogus majority that's really a minority want to work within the system so they can later blow it up"

Correct.

"and then collect a pension from the system they just blew up."

No. They expect to collect as part of the process of destroying it, and furthermore they are deluded in thinking that economics and energy theory are the parallel. They believe that wealth exists the way that energy exists. It can't be created or destroyed, but it can be managed. They'll collect more from the "replacement" of capitalism.

Where have you been?

"OK, I get it now. Just had to rearrange the furniture upstairs."

Well, OK. Don't forget the biggest fallacy that is applied to this criticism is thinking it is invalid because the theories are bad. We know the theories are bad, that is a major reason for the criticism. It won't work, but they believe they will come out meeting their objectives. If they added it all up logically before trying to sell it, we wouldn't have any problems with these radicals. If it did have any chance to work, we wouldn't be so upset.

Democratic democracy these days is defined by mob rule, as long as they control the mob. See the "Occupy <this>" movement. It's why they love jihadis, because they think they control the "grievance resolution" process. It's why they create class victims. They want to create angry mobs who see them as the solution.

Democracy? Not by any Western tradition or standard. Only the most cynical definition of democracy can be used. Yet they do, and they apply it to sharia too, so what does that tell you? I'm not joking that Saudi Arabia has been described on PBS as a "kind of democracy" because on occasion, the men sit around together in one room and beg the king for favors.

I'm not joking. They are so dim. All of them. You can't be bright and also go along with this stuff.

I'd like to correct one bit of misinformation in the article. I read about this when I was in junior high and high school. Boss Tweed wasn't brought back because he was a child molester. He was brought back because the Spanish authorities thought that he kidnapped two children from the U.S. One of the main reasons that Tweed and his pals were brought down was because of the cartoons of Thomas Nast, the German-born cartoonist who often attacked Tweed and his activities. One of his cartoons aided in the aforementioned return of Tweed to America.
