The Torture and Murder of Ambassador Chris Stevens (Graphic)

We don’t yet know the entire story of how the Ambassador died , but the images of his body being dragged around by a Muslim mob have an ominous similarity to similar images of how Gaddafi was killed. The latest reports say that he did not die of gunshot wounds, but of suffocation, that would mean that he was likely manually killed.
The Libyan mob, which by the way has an equal number of beardos and non-beardos, belying the notion that this was purely a Salafist attack, dragged around the body and took cell phone photos of it. In the photo above, one member of the mob is repositioning the Ambassador, perhaps still alive, with a cell phone in his mouth in preparation for taking more photos.
This is not a new development. For as long as there have been cameras, Muslim mobs have taken photos of their victims as souvenirs. There are photos like that throughout the 20th Century, the internet has just made it easier.
Finally, we know that this was an inside job.
The mob knew where the Safe House was. The only was they could know that is if the United States shared that information with Libyan authorities. During the Sufi shrine attacks, it became known that Islamists made up a sizable portion of the Libyan security forces. So rather than a mob attack, as in Cairo, this was premeditated and directed violence made to look like a mob attack.
U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said the attack was the work of a “small and savage group” not the government or people of Libya.
Completely untrue. A “small group” would not have had inside information like the location of a safe house.
Libya’s Deputy Interior Minister Wanis Al-Sharif said. “It was supposed to be a secret place and we were surprised the armed groups knew about it. There was shooting,” Sharif said. Two U.S. personnel were killed there, he said. Two other people were killed at the main consular building and between 12 and 17 wounded.
There’s no surprise because there is very little difference between the armed groups and the security forces of the Libyan government.
