As we saw Katrina fade into the background as the weeks passed Christie is keeping NJ in peoples' minds any way he can. Nice job!!

    • diligentinquirer

Yup, so I too do gage it. Would have done the same (if not exact) thing myself!! Diligentinquirer

  • Claude Croteau

This Fatso has no judgement whatsoever ; just like all thos dummies that voted for Obama, a dompletely dishonnest man !

    • I P Standing

he should have refused all aid from the feds,,let the state handle it,,the residents can help themselves

  • http://twitter.com/servinc7 @servinc7

I'M AS CONSERVATIVE AS THEY COME BUT I DON'T THINK CHRISTIE DESERVES REPROACH. HE FOUND HIMSELF IN AN OUT AND OUT DISASTER SITUATION AND FELT LIKE THE BEST THING TO DO WAS TO MAKE FRIENDS WITH THE ADMINISTRATION SO AS TO BENEFIT FROM WHATEVER HELP THE FEDS COULD GIVE. IT'S PRETTY LOW TO DISS HIM NOW WHILE HE'S DOWN. YOU DON'T KICK A GUY WHEN HE'S DOWN. HE SWALLOWED HIS PRIDE TO GET WHATEVER EMERGENCY ADVANTAGES HE COULD OBTAIN FOR HIS BELOVED STATE. HE PUT HIS LOYALTY TO HIS PEOPLE BEFORE HIS POLITICS! IF YOU CANNOT GIVE A GUY A BREAK UNDER THESE CIRCUMSTANCES, THEN YOU'VE GOT A REAL PROBLEM…

    • Twilliam

All he did wrong was swoon over the President and give the country the impression that all was being taken care of by the Feds. I live in Louisiana and beleive me, FEMA is as disfunctional as it gets. We are still trying to straigten thins our from Katrina, Gustav and Rita. A boondoggle of wasted tax payer money that did not and will not get to the people that needed the help. Anybody notice that the democratic governor of NY did not give the photo opt, nor did mayor of NYC make a mockery of what was going on in his city? Christie reminded me of the crying mayor of Kenner during Katrina…completely overwhelmed and grasping at fedral straws. Only the local people, red cross and faith based organizations can provide immediate releif…We pray for those still suffering, sadly it will be a long tough road back to recovery and comfort.

    • SoCalJeanne

He sold out his country for money and help that never did come, and he should have known that. Whether that love fest was enough to garner enough votes to put Obummer over the top will never be known, but it certainly helped. Now his beloved, and ours, New Jerseyans have 4 years of destruction ahead that we may not ever recover from. No, he is and was a fool and is finished in the conservative ranks.

      • http://twitter.com/JonW57 @JonW57

While I do sympathize with the victims of the storm I do have to wonder aboiut teh residnet sof New Jersey as well. They elected Christie who is turning out to be a worthless individual as Governor, but they also turned away volunteer help merely becasue the workers were not union workers. If they only want union workers then apoparently they do not want much help.

      • Cybrdg

He'd sell out his state/country for a Twinkie. Unfortunately the Twinkie makers (Hostess) were forced out of business [THIS by the way in a state where they just voted to legalize, munchies be damned, recreational use of marijuana! LOL]. I guess he'll have to suffer through with a side o' beef.

    • G Man.

I agree with your post very good arguement.

    • Guest

No one should have to "swallow his pride" to get help in an emergency. His loyalty to "his" people is appreciated, but we are still one country. Why should he have felt so separated from help or the USA that he had to swallow his pride? And why at this time did he consent to do SNL, which btw has become very low level in it self.

      • Cybrdg

LOL. LOOK at him! He'll obviously swallow ANYTHING! All you dolts that re-elected "homeboy" [VP Biden's description, not mine] should count your blessings! The only reason fatty didn't eat "homeboy in chief" is that he's not even a snack's worth.

    • http://twitter.com/JonW57 @JonW57

So, the Obama Administration has become so petty that the only way a state can get Federal assistance after a natural disaster is to go kiss Obama's hind parts? If that is the standard of our Federal Government it is the bset argument yet for Conservative individualism. I am not a resident of New Jersey, but if I were I would do the same as I did when we had our last disaster, I would live in a make shift Shelter call my insurance company, accept whatever I was due in trhe way of compensation and rebuild on my own. Screw Christie and Obama they are both worthless.

      • Cybrdg

Thing is; Joisy went all out to re-elect Obama. You don't have to be a genius to know that you get the gov't you vote for. Happy holidays "New" Jersey. "Happy" in New Jersey must be different than in other places.

    • Cybrdg

"Conservative"? Puh-leez. keep drinking the Kool Aid. Let's get some more pix of fatty lickin' "homeboy's" butt. (that's Biden's description of our "homeboy in Chief"; not mine.) Biden, as you may know; is the VP, the guy the idiot americans (lower case "a" intended) voted BACK in to the position that is one heartbeat away from the presidency. 'Cause he goin' t' GIVE us stuff. FREE stuff. LOTS o' free stuff. [you're a MORON]

    • tom

HE WON THE ELECTION FOR OBOZZO!!! WAKE UP!!!!!

    • DLS

He also helped put the worst president since Jimmy Carter back in offfice. For that he may not ever be forgiven. As they say in Texas – Big hat no cows.

  • Rogelio

    what is a dompletely?

    • Steve C

      Obama's "completely" with a D for dominate.

  • http://twitter.com/Alliethecurious @Alliethecurious

@service. You are so very right. This man has done a lot for the state of New Jersey, and whatever he does whether crazy or whatever, it is for the people in his state.

    • I P Standing

thats all over ,,he must be impeached

  • ObamaIsGodAwful

Chris Christie's funtime on SNL was about as funny as Barack Obama's re-election.

  • DEF

Humans/Individuals suffer while Politicians Peacock/proclaim themselves as Saviors!!!
    The suffers know the truth!!!

  • Sarah

I bet he has crusty stained underwear. His digestive system must have issues.

  • Mammoth Man

    He is the joke himself.

  • Surgeon General

I wonder what is his waist size? 70? Why doesn't somebody like the Surgeon General help this guy get it under control???

  • Blow Hard

Blow hard. If that doesn't work, blow harder. If that doesn't work, go on SNL and blow it all away.

    • Cybrdg

And if THAT doesn't work, blow Obama [again]

  • Roger Ball

Never get between Kristy and a baloney sandwich. Anybody as fat as he is, is not of sound mind.

    • I P Standing

you cant also mean our rush

  • guest

Maybe a well meaning governor just didn't think it all the way through. Under extreme pressure it is sometimes good to go to your own instinctive values and principles. Maybe they didn't apply in this case, or maybe that is who he really is…who knows.

    • Cybrdg

Refer back to the "blow" comments

  • Pal

Christie is bought and paid for….he is a puppet that his masters are using to issue in their new world order. He will do as told and has no respect for himself as you can clearly see…..

  • I P Standing

He is a traitor to our party ,,begging obama for help,,as is hannity -amnesty,,krauthammer ,,Piyush jindal,,rubio and all the rest wanting us to moderate,,all communists,,Bachmann cain 16

  • Hopeless Future

Funny how the last big storm was the President's fault but this one is now a Governor's responsibility. What is the difference? Why the change?

  • Edk

The man did what he had to do to help the people who employ him. Maybe he said more then he had to, but his people will get thru this intolerable situation much easier because of his efforts.
I think he is a great man and he will be a big part of the conservative future. This event will come back when he needs it and it will be the reason that we done have to look at Hilary Clinton's ugly mug for 4 years after Obama get deported in 2016. Go Chris christy.

  • vicky rios

When 'any' politician takes time to go in front of a camera for their 15 mins. of fame, it takes away respect
for the office for which they were elected. Presidents, and all the rest were elected by the people to do what?
Not appear on comedy shows, talk shows, etc. It is disgraceful and a joke to the entire world.
No wonder we have no respect.

  • John W

Thanks for reminding us that we all need to have a sense of humor or we will go crazy.

  • Pastor Troy Keaton

Have friends who worked up there last week and over the weekend. They fed thousands, shoveled sand out of homes and listened to crying people. Wasn't nearly as funny to them or the people they helped.

  • Dorothy

I just found it incredibly easy to tell the lib. left from the right (I choose to differentiate because i am a registered Dem that find the far liberal left mean and offensive.

the far left "no man's land" is nasty and offensive beyond the norm. I have a few issues w/ Christie that I thought were best summed up by an analyst on Fox News who is either a Dem. or INdie. she said, "Christie is a passionate man. He is passionate about candidates he endorses and equally passionate about the State he was elected to represent. he does not hide his feelings. Perhaps that makes paul Ryan a more suitable candidate for this election." Nonetheless, Christie is an advocate for the matter at hand. Something many more could address. He is passionate regardless of how it affects anyone but
the object of his passion. Something a lot of us could learn from.
