M.A.S.H. Star Partners with Castro’s Spy Service

Pages: 1 2

Though a consistently good show, few conservatives mistook M.A.S.H for anything but pinko propaganda. Last week, long-time M.A.S.H star Mike Farrell (Capt. B.J. Hunnicut) took the last few baby-steps and started spouting outright Communist propaganda.

In a letter to President Obama, Farrell officially partnered with Castro’s KGB-trained DGI urging the release of five of their agents and officers who were convicted in 2001 of conspiracy to commit espionage against the U.S. and conspiracy to murder Americans. The Supreme Court has twice upheld the convictions of these Communist terrorists and accessories to murder.

In 1933 Stalin’s propaganda chief, Willi Munzenberg, re-monikered the Soviet Comintern as the “International Aid Committee for the Victims of Fascism.” The Soviet’s Cuban satraps and their propaganda auxiliaries have one-upped even Munzenberg. These convicted Castroite terrorists — we’re now told by the former M.A.S.H star — are actually peace-loving anti-terrorists; flower-children of sorts. Here’s the heart of Farrell’s letter:

Release them because they came here only to monitor the activities of violent Cuban exiles who, operating from bases in Miami of which our government is well aware, were planning violent actions against innocent people in Cuba.

Release them because they were trying to prevent more brutal acts against their country and save innocent lives.

But according to the FBI’s affidavit, the convicted Castro-agents whom Farrell champions were engaged in, among other acts:

• Gathering intelligence against the Boca Chica Air Naval Station in Key West, the McDill Air Force Base in Tampa and the headquarters of the U.S. Southern Command in Homestead, FL;

• compiling the names, home addresses and medical files of the U.S. Southern Command’s top officers, along with those of hundreds of officers stationed at Boca Chica;

• infiltrating the headquarters of the U.S. Southern Command;

• sending letter bombs to Cuban-Americans;

• spying on McDill Air Force Base, the U.S. armed forces’ worldwide headquarters for fighting “low-intensity” conflicts; and

• locating entry points into Florida for smuggling explosives.

Farrell’s poster-boys also infiltrated the Cuban-exile group Brothers to the Rescue, which flew unarmed planes to rescue Cuban rafters in the Florida straits, also known as “the cemetery without crosses.” The estimates of the number of Cubans dying horribly in the “cemetery without crosses,” run from 50,000-85,000. Brothers to The Rescue risked their lives almost daily, flying over the straits, alerting and guiding the Coast Guard to any balseros, and saving thousands of these desperate people from joining that terrible tally.

Prior to Castroism, by the way, Cuba was swamped with more immigrants per capita than the U.S., mostly from Europe. People from nearby Haiti jumped on rafts desperate to enter Cuba, which enjoyed a higher standard of living than much of Europe. Also, during the 1950s when all Cubans were perfectly free to emigrate with all family, property, etc., and U.S. visas were issued to them for the asking, about the same number of Americans lived in Cuba as Cubans in the U.S. In 1953 more Cubans vacationed (then voluntarily went home) from the U.S. than Americans vacationed in Cuba. Alas, none of this features in The Godfather II. So it’s mostly unknown.

By February 1996, Brothers to The Rescue had flown 1,800 of these humanitarian missions and helped rescue 4,200 men, women and children. That month, members of Mike Farrell’s current cause célèbre passed to Castro the flight plan for one of the Brothers’ humanitarian flights over the “cemetery without crosses.”

With this information in hand, Castro’s Top Guns saluted and sprang to action. They jumped into their MIGs, took off and valiantly blasted apart (in international air space) the lumbering and utterly defenseless Cessnas. Four members of the humanitarian flights were murdered in cold blood.

    More testament to the Evil Genius of Stalin and his feeling for propaganda the effete Western elites would swallow hook, like and sinker…..My favorite is "Fascism is a taking over of the State by evil capitalist corporations", although a superficial knowledge of National Socialism and Mussolini's Fascist party give obvious evidence this BS is false.

    Farrell, Carter, Alzheimers or just plain evil? Who knows. The Democrat party has deteriorated into a celebration of sodomy, abortion, and socialism. Humberto shines a light on these tumors on humanity.
    That twisted communist anti American, anti semitic mess Carter is getting ready to go completely nuts pretty soon, he gets worse and worse. Farrell isn't smart enough to know what he's doing. Dupe, dupe, dupe.

    I once saw a 60-Minutes interview with Mike Farrel as he advocated for the release of Mumia Abu Jamal, convicted killer of Philadelphia police officer Daniel Faulkner. Farrel was asked about the feelings of Faulkner's widow regarding the potential release of her husband's killer…and his response was shamefully dismissive. The man is scum.

    • UCSPanther

      The idiots who root for Mumia willfully turn a blind eye to his racism (which made him an outcast amongst his own people), and the fact that he backstabbed Officer Faulkner like the little coward he was.

      If there was justice, he would have been destroyed like Tookie Williams was.

      I remember reading about that, Mike Farrell isn't exactly a bright boy, but then again anyone believing in the potential of Communism, after the fall of the Soviet Union, isn't exactly the sharpest pencil in the box. Mummia Abu Jamal was litterally arrested, sitting on the curb with a smoking gun in his hand, the Free Mummia group cooked up every unreasonable theory short of blaming space aliens for the murder. Concidering how many truly wrongfully convicted people there are behind bars it seems like their efforts could have been better spent elsewhere.
      Mike Farrell only got the gig with MASH because Wayne Rogers decided he had better things to do with his life then play second fiddle behind Alan Alda. Farrell, or more likely his agent, was litterally in the right place at the right time.

    Mike Farrell…Alger Hiss…Benedict Arnold…No Difference….

    • Oleg

      There is, or was, Benedict Arnold wasn't a Communist.

    I'm a huge M*A*S*H fan because I grew up watching it. But after reading Farrel's autobiography, I was horrified. This is a man who is on the wrong side of everything. He not only supports communism, but he advocates for criminals.

    It's remarkable how people can be so completely backwards/upside down in their thinking and still function day to day!

    My view is that people like this should be stripped of their American citizenship and removed from this country. I don't care where they go, but they do not deserve to keep living here.

  • warpmine

    Perhaps one day our government will have the testicles to something like that. The man without a country.

    Ferrel is such a dirt bag. If I ever had the chance, if I worked or lived near Dirt Bag Ingrate Ferrel, I would make it a habit to spit at him in the face any time I crossed his path.
    He should be forced to live in the type of commi hole he loves so much.

    I wonder how Farrel reacted on 9/11.

    Farrel demonstrates that Socialism is a Crime Against Humanity.

    I wish Farrel would go to Syria and act as an inhuman shield.

  • Ghostwriter

    I think Farrel is a fool. He blindly does this sort of stuff without realizing that most of us aren't big fans of Castro or communism.

  • jdptulsa

    Farrel is a coward. I'm hoping someone does more than spit in this traitors face. I hated the show when I was younger because I knew it was a liberal beacon.

  • Looking4Sanity

    What can you expect from a cast member of a show that spat on the American military on a regular basis? That people didn't see anything wrong with that series is exactly the reason we're in the shape we're in today. Social-ism is a creeping disease. It is prevalent because no one ever notices the initial symptoms. M*A*S*H* was one such symptom. Everyone who watched it was spoon feeding themselves poison and laughing while they did it.

    • Oleg

      I think that's giving that show far too much credit for influencing popular culture then is due. There was indeed a strong anti war and anti conscription message in there, but how many people who are truly on the front lines faced with blood and death every day would be that enthusiastic about war. This was no surprise since the show debut near the end of the Vienam War, which was botched from the get go, or does anyone truly believe that Robert Macnamara was an outstanding defence secretary?

      • Looking4Sanity

        Since we're sharing what we "think", I think you've been infected. I think you probably have been for a long time. And, I don't think you're ever going to be cured.

    tweedle dee–carter and tweedle dumb–farrell…and both DISGUSTING…

    I am trying to fathom how a reasonably bright person can do these things:1. Vote for Obama. 2. Be fond of Castro. 3. Fail to see the superiority of capitalism over fascism or communism. 4. Not be aware of the history of revolutions in general and communist revolutions and tackovers specifically. (mass murder starts immediately) and liberty ents.

    Farrell also advocates for the release of Mumia Abu-Jamal, a convicted cop-killer in Philly……

    Humberto Fontova attacks all kinds of people, from Jimmy Carter, to Mike Farrell, to Common, to Jay-Z. To date none of these people has withered from the face of the Earth in light of such character assassinations. In this latest tirade, the element of outrage is that Cuba spied on us and snuck into our country. The US also spied on Cuba and snuck into their country. Mr. Fontova is actually defending illegal privateers who did marque and reprisal decades ago. So was that declared by Congress? In our Constitution, only Congress has such authority to authorize such operations. Were Mr. Fontova's particular brand of pirate scumbags legally commissioned or is this just more crocodile tears shed for Jack Ruby?

  • Ghostwriter

    Schlobrain,it's bad enough when you attack Jewish people. That's to be expected of you. But defending Cuba isn't something I expected from you. Fidel Castro is one of the worst dictators ever to walk this earth. Groups like Amnesty International and people like Mr. Fontova have documented the horrendous state of human rights in that country. To stand with Castro,even with all that evidence make you either a fool,a moron,or something far worse. Just like Mike Farrel,I think you're a fool. Please read up on what happened in Cuba after the Revolution. A lot of people fled here because of the things Castro did. I think it would enlighten you,but I doubt you want to be enlightened.
