Diagnosing the Nightmare in the Middle East — on The Glazov Gang

As we witness the Islamist attacks on our embassies, the murder of our ambassador to Libya, and our government’s simultaneous apologies to those who hate and wage war on us, the catastrophic failure of Obama’s foreign policy is evident for all to see.

The roots of this devastating mishandling of our national interest were recently discussed on the Glazov Gang, where Dwight Schultz, Tommi Trudeau and Leon Weinstein gathered to analyze the main themes of the DNC and RNC conventions. In their discussion, the guests crystallized the willful blindness that prevails in the Democratic Party in general and in Obama administration in particular. They shed light on how it has now spawned the horrifying threat in the Islamic Middle East. All three parts of the three part series can be seen below:

Jamie and Leon make good points about the Democrat Party creating their own god(s) while denying the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.. Just as the DNC booed God I remembered when the booed Alexander Solzhenitsyn' for warning the USA what would happen if they succeeded to remove God from this country. Mr. Weinstein can probably relate to that.

It also reminds me of what Rabbi Daniel Lapin had warned us about rabid secular fundamentalist religionists taking over.

Come to think of it the secular Religionists have another thing in common; they want to make themselves both a political system and a religion.

    • Questions

"Rabid secular fundamentalists" — are there any other kind? Perhaps it hasn't occurred to you that Muslims, Christians, Jews and other believers can make for pretty rabid dogs, too. Most free thinkers, believe it or not, just want to be left alone and not be intimidated into conversions. If that constitutes fanaticism, then we need more of it.

      • HighPressure

Actually the the largest theocracy was a Secular Fundamental Theocracy. Men bowed before them. The first order of business was to confiscate property of competing religions, try to kill the God of the Jews and Christians, murder those who would get in the way of the purity of this utopia to the tune of 50 to 60 million; which is more collectively then the combined faiths and religions you have mentioned. (Although Islam would love to compete with that number.)

The modern day Alinskyites such as Obama and Clinton want to bring in such an era into the US. Rabbi Lapin explains it a lot better.

And there are people who call themselves “Free Thinkers” who would like to silence others. Using the same tactics as the Stalinites.

Equating the Fantasy-Ideology of the Left with a Theocracy of any kind confuses them.

It's just like in the comic books – whether it is the hero or the villain – you only have to put on a pair of sunglasses and PRESTO they are confused.

      • Kufar Dawg

How many millions of people were murdered in the name of Christianity or Judaism in the 20th or 21st centuries again? How many millions of Hindus, Sikhs, Jews, Christians and Bahais have been slaughtered by muslims in places like Bangladesh, Pakistain, Israel, Iran, Iraq, E. Timor, Aremenia/Turkey, Sudan/Darfur? Your argument is one of false equivalence at least over the last 100 or so odd years and demonstrably in our present. Get bent.

        • LibertyMan

          Secular Fundamentalst Religion deaths:

          – Hitler – 25 million
          – Stalin – 60 Million
          China – 55 Million
          – Rabid environmentalist (fundmental secularists using non science witchcraft) – 190 million Africans with Malaria for denying use of DDT

And yes Islam is dangerous and has even partnered with them. But the deaths haven't approached that number yet.

          • Kufar Dawg

Um, the Hindu population of the Indian sub continent decreased by some 80 million over the course of the islamic genocides committed there (the last addition to the bodycount being the 3 million Hindus slaughtered by muslims in Bangladesh in the 1970's).

    "rabid secular fundamentalist religionists"

Would you care to define that term for us all? Because without some clarification, it sounds like you're just engaging in a little religious bigotry of your own. I might be inclined to agree with you if I knew what it was you were actually referring to, but that phrase you chose smacks of a broad stroke slur.

    • dmw

I think, IMHO, that would be like a cult that rabid promotes the opposite of what some generally accepted faith traditions (such as, in this nation, the Judeo-Christian derived) promote. A good example would be "rabid fundamentalist religionists" promotion — rather than preaching restraint — of coveting (10th Commandment). That's why I always refer to the current "RFRs" as the Democovet Party. But they go one step further: not only to get what the other possesses, but to despise or hate him as well. Very much, as M.Savage asserts, mental illness (and promotion thereof).

    • topeka

actually it does not require definition. many of us who have been politically involved over the decades have heard someone take the Leftist jargon "fundamentalist religionist" compare it to the "secular" fundamentalism of the Godless fanatics on the Left.

I do not like the term because it usually is made by an atheist or deist-agnostic who would conflate rational concerns of religious persons and authorities with the irrational and insane beliefs of the irreligious and atheist cults.

      Just sayin…

      • Looking4Sanity

I don't care for the term either. It is contradictory, nonsensical and completely without meaning.

  • jacob

May I remind you that dictionaries were invented..just five minutes ago ????

I understood perfectly what it meant without a dictionary and that is that I’m a peon, not a college graduate as most probably you are but it happens to it like with a joke :

If you didn’t catch it from the beginning and I have to explain it to you, then it is no joke any longer…..

If we want his country to survive, we have to ditch the DEMOCRAP PARTY and its sycophants this

coming November or else, KISS IT GOODBYE….

    • Looking4Sanity

If you're worried about me not voting for Romney, you can relax. If you cam make any sense of the term "rabid secular fundamentalist religionists" the joke may be on you.

  • gray man

Mr Glazov, love "The Glazov Gang" have watched every one from the beginning. Only problem – they are too short. They need to be 1/2 hour per segment, for a total of 11/2 hour.

    • Kufar Dawg

They need to be on television as well. I find it much more entertaining listening to the truth than the lies and obfuscations that constitute the MSM today.

  • uptownsteve

Nothing symbolizes the GOP in it's current state more than a 82 year old white geezer talking to an empty chair.

    • Questions

This "geezer" is set to star in a new baseball movie, "Trouble with the Curve," opening on September 21. It co-stars Amy Adams and Justin Timberlake, two people I would not consider to be geezers (or Leftists, for that matter).

    • fiddler

uptown wanted to be sure we all caught that he was a WHITE geezer. I'm sure that matters to him.

    • Kufar Dawg

Like any braindead leftard his own bigotry and racism goes unnoticed. FOAD.

  • Chas. Frickel

I am Shocked! WIll the real Tommi Trudeau please stand up?

  • fiddler

Nothing symbolizes the Democrat Party in its current state than not ONE, not TWO, but THREE tries at voting whether to keep God in their convention discourse and even after three tries, they threw out assessing the actual AYES versus NAYS and just concluded a 2/3rds vote (which it was clearly not) and just elected to "rule" that the motion carried as if it were 2/3rds. How ironic that the process was BOOED. Clearly this amounted to nothing more than taking a stab at being legitimate and the "vote" ended up being nothing more than a sham aimed at trying to wright a public relations goof. After all, getting elected is most important. We'll deal with minor details such as any belief in God after the election.

    • Kufar Dawg

If they had been voting to include allah or muhammad it would've been a different story.

  • HighPressure

I guess it is humiliating when a 82 year old geezer knocks a young liberal punk on his blessed assurance.

A leader's cult of personality is always a part of the regressive nature of Fascism.

    • Kufar Dawg

The zero reminds me of Mugabe and I'll bet the zero's goals aren't much different.

  • Kristin

These were great segments. I agree with another reviewer-I wish they were longer! Also-I think Tommi is more fun to watch when he's a disillusioned liberal. I

This mannequin tense without grace or meat is a frame that is hanging bunch of repeated phrases to memory can spit without soul or spirit, malignant only by his own design. It is a mask with exaggerated grimace succession in which the cartoon is funny joker a fake laugh and joy absent. This man is our Zelig got into the White House by the shepherds worshiped not only by the MSM prostituted by anti-American idea.

  • dmw

I've been following the Glazov Gang for quite awhile and I really like the new (??) guy, Leon Weinstein. As a suggestion, I would like to have exposed what kind of economies are being experienced in the new Islamist countries. The radio program with the guy that went to Palestinian areas incognito was particularly insightful (especially the anecdote about the guy that made over $1000 a day selling to tourists — but no longer).
