Surely, there is a double standard on the Kurdish issue by the USA administration. Yet, before we discuss about this double standard in approaching whether Kurdistan become an Independent state or not, there is much more important issue to discuss with. There are approximately 50 million kurds have been facing denial and annihilation policies. Yet, the US state department policies only points out Kurds in Iraq. Of course I am not against this. Yet, what about the Kurds living in Syria, Turkey and Iran? That means there is double standard on the approach of the Kurdish issue as a whole. There are Kurds in Iraq and have rights. But, according to the double standard approaches of the USA and its State Department the others are not Kurds and they do not have any rights. Is that what do we have to understand? We can not see any new approaches of the USA to the Kurdish issue as a whole, then what they have had before.

Sadly the Kurds have no allies.
They've been betrayed so many times by the West.
Kissenger betrayed them in 75.
Who will ever forget when Bush Sr told the Kurds to rebel against Saddam Hussein in 91 and when they did rebel, Bush refused to give them weapons and help them.

Turning our backs on the Kurds? So much for the humanitarian aid we gave them in the past. Last I saw on one of the NRA websites, Kurdistan is a country that has tolerance and comes from many walks of life. Now we are about to destroy a nation by delegitimizing it's existence. I wonder if South Sudan is next on the list of delegitimization. Obama is way worse than I thought. Who is he to delegitimize a country that wants a free society? It's a oxymoron for Obama to say he's for freedom while behind close doors he's stabbing freedom in the back, which is what he's been doing for a long time anyway.

The only reason for prejudice against The Kurds is the west's fear of unraveling entire post WWI ME. Once The Kurds gain independents the rest of subgroups in the region will force the artificial middle eastern map to be redrawn along ethnic, religion and natural geographical lines. Meaning the creation of many more nation states at the expense of Turkey, Iraq, Syria,Iran,Egypt and the reconfiguration the current power play. Such a scenario will cause a lot of bloodshed and treasure and may involve Russia, EU and The USA or even China. Sooner rather then latter Syrian civil war will spread and The Kurds will be the ones who would take full advantage of it. So is Israel .

This is all about geo-political power projection. Turkey, Syria, Iraq and Iran all have Kurdish minorities. The UN Charter protects the territorial integrity of all it's members as well as usually permiting them to slaughter their own populations. The corruption and hypocrosy of it is sickening.

And then there's the Anti-Semitic angle. Do you really believe if Israel (all other things being equal) were a
Christian or Hindu state, the calls for extermination to the last child would be tolerated?

"Joe Biden as chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee was quoted by Reuters on May 1, 2006 as saying: “Iraq should be divided into three largely autonomous regions – Kurd, Sunni Arab and Shiite Arab – with a weaker central government in Baghdad.”

The only reason this flake said this is, because he listens to Michael Savage radio. Biden hasn't had a original thought in years. Savage(Mr. Weiner), has said this for years. They hate him(Savage), but they consistently quote him.

"in order to protect the democratic experience in Iraq"

Typical Animal Farm discourse. It may not be liberal democracy as we know it in the West (or used to) but hey, it's a "democratic experience" and the gap between "Islamic democracy" and Western democracy is shrinking all the time with Obama at the helm. That's not a good thing for free people.

The fact of the matter is that statehood, to those who truly aspire to democratic rule - via law and order and liberty based principles - is not in Washington's sights, though it is in America's interests. Israel's too.
And the death grip, which the left's revolutionaries have had over America for decades, has only intensified under the reign of the Islamist/Radical-in-Chief.
The proof, as is said, is in the pudding. The Muslim Brotherhood Mafia is in power - all over the Mid East, and in US power centers too!- and Benghazigate transpired due to Barack HUSSEIN Obama's collusion with Samantha Powers (via R2P), and some other helping hands - think: Huma Abedin.

Revolutionaries always stick to their end goals - <a href="http://adinakutnicki.com/2012/10/07/when-authentic-revolutionaries-hold-the-reins-of-american-power-centers-via-the-most-radical-regime-in-u-s-history-commentary-by-adina-kutnicki/" rel="nofollow">http://adinakutnicki.com/2012/10/07/when-authenti...</a>

To wit, the Kurds are left twisting in the wind. Tibet too. And if this blogger was in charge they both would be free, one way or another. And a Pal State would be a dead letter.
