The Justice Department’s Child Porn Problem

The Vermont Police Academy case exposes this kind of police-judicial cooperation. Child porn was found on the work computer of, among others, Homeland Security’s trainer Dave McMullen at Vermont’s Police Academy. McMullen is alleged to have committed suicide after this discovery. Vermont’s Rutland Herald wanted the police records. Vermont’s Supreme Court denied this request providing legal cover of total secrecy for police who do child porn in Vermont. How is this in the best interest of Vermont’s children? It is not. It is, however, in the best interest of a pedophile ring.

Corrupt police and judges form powerful barriers no ordinary citizen can breach. Exposing pedophile rings, much less rescuing trafficked children, becomes impossible when judges and police protect each other.  In Maine, the retired police officer reported to the Department of Justice, “I have witnessed actions (or inactions) from Maine’s judiciary that I have not previously witnessed in 34 years of involvement with the court system.” Of Maine’s corruption, the officer said, “I am used to that from criminals but not from police officers.”  US Attorney General Eric Holder, Director of the Department of Justice, has taken no action.

When these kinds of crimes are ignored by the Department of Justice, there is a clear crisis in our Homeland. Children are being trafficked to feed America’s billion-dollar child porn industry. Too many police are involved.  Mr. Holder is allowing this national epidemic of child porn to flourish inside our justice system, crippling our most vulnerable citizens; our children.

America needs an Attorney General who enforces zero tolerance for child porn, particularly by government employees, and protects our children, not the government employees profiting from child porn. Democrats accuse Republicans of waging a war on women. Republicans must expose the war being waged on American’s children ignored by Eric Holder’s leadership.  Our children are being destroyed in record numbers by the very people sworn to protect them.  The Obama administration’s Department of Justice does not appear to care.

I always wondered why no one goes after the child porn which you can find on the internet when you search for "LS Land". Now I know. Everyone should post the screenshots showing the internet adresses for the search results shown in file sharing programs and ask the government why this sick stuff is still downloadable.

    • guest

But Creeping Sharia is blocked! its not like they cannot do it with teir kiddie porn, too, but CAIR is not driving that.

  • fiona

Why is this surprising from people who believe that abortion is okay from conception until 9 months and even if born alive to leave the poor child to die. This makes children our property to be used and abused as we see fit. Children are not seen as gifts from God any more but curses that clip our wings, stifle our freedom and an inconvenience that are disposable when we see fit. This world is so corrupt that I think that this article only scratches the surface of the depravity.

    • Leanne

Oh please. No one thinks abortion is right until 9 months. And the people who are abusing these kids all have nice respectable jobs, like police officers and judges. They probably vote pro life so there are more kids to abuse.

How old was Mary when she was married? About 13?

      • GRIZZ MANN

President Obama supported letting survivors of botched abortion to be let to die, while an Illinois Senator.

        • Titus Vorenus

Not only is your comment absolutely ridiculous, it's a bald faced lie.

    • Michael

There isn't a decent human being one that thinks it is okay to abort a child from conception to 9 months and also would say that if it is born alive that is could legally be left to die. Children are our future not our property. The liberal rhetoric needs to stay out of this. Child porn is a sick and twisted problem and should not be made to be a political agenda. It should be a legal one and as a people we should be exerting more force on our leaders to do something about the corruption and the abuse.

  • harrylies

In 1936, the saying was "As goes Maine, so goes Vermont"-the only two States that rejected Roosevelt, the Obama of his day. There are laws to protect the accused. This is not China.

Frontpage is pals with the Pope, who protects child molesters. You turn a blind eye to it.

    • mkat68

"There are laws to protect the accused." Liberal-speak for "the criminal is the real victim." Conservatives are the ones protecting child molesters? "You turn a blind eye to it. " Project much, do we?

What an appropriate nickname you have.

We have been documenting many of these cases, from articles around the Internet, for awhile now, and it is increasing, and many police officers in Florida have committed sex crimes, and across the world.

I am curious, we keep hearing the word "child porn" being bandied about. In my state the age of consent is 18. So if a 17 year old girl or boy is sexting their "naughty parts" to the internet or friends, is that child porn? If so, I really think we need to redefine these terms. When I hear CP I am thinking about five year old kids being used, not willing teens.

    • http://www.facebook.com/andrew.whitehead.5243 Andrew Whitehead

I find your rationale disgusting. Under an age certain; human being are assumed to be incapable of giving consent. Society at large has an obligation to protect those whom may not be mature enough to understand the repercussions of their behavior later in life. I know I have done things in my youth that I am not proud of and I do point the blame to my own pride and immaturity.

Great Britain used to defend children, now the age of consent is far lower than ours…and we can thank the British sense of "justice" for this despicable state of affairs when you consider that the majority of those in the parliament voting for this are active sexual perverts.

Don't take my word for it, read it for yourself.

  • Rosieforchange

What I don't understand in this whole thing is why do we insist on calling this media child pornography? Using the word pornography implies the child played a willing part in their own abuse. Calling it what it is; child sexual abuse media is correct. Child porn is pictures of children who are being sexually abused. To leave the word abuse out doesn't fully give the needed impact needed to help stop this terrible epidemic.

    • Michael

Pornography is any sexually explicit production that involves the viewing of sexual acts. It has nothing to do with consensus of the parties involved, if it did there would never have been such a thing as a snuff film or a rape film. Try google and search for those and you can find those to at an alarming rate. The sickos who are all hung up on this crap should be killed upon conviction… At least if that were done we would not have sex criminals around the schools and there would be less issues with them because the punishment would be death.

  • Veritas

Google Frank Marshall Davis and Sex Rebel. This Communist Pervert was most likely the Presidents sex and politics coach and mentor from age 10 to 18. Frank may also be his real father. Watch the DVD. This helps explain why the DOJ has been told not to prosecute any porn cases, including child porn

  • Alex Kovnat

Before we declare a policy of "zero tolerance" for child pornography, we had better be clear as to how we define such. You can use the term "child pornography" to describe a picture of a cute 7 year old girl in a bathing suit, if you are puritanical enough. Obviously the more zero our tolerance, the more clear we have to be about what it is we are so zero tolerant of. Otherwise you are going to see cases of kids themselves being prosecuted (actually persecuted) because they inadvertedly violated a rigid, inflexible zero tolerance rule. This has happened in schools. But I agree that physical abuse of children should be punishable by life in prison, and that purchase of pictures of same should be a serious felony.

    • jemaasjr

Zero tolerance is one of those things that sounds right when you say it, but is almost always a stupid idea. If followed through literally it produces weird extremes in policy.

    • Michael

Why would you want to support a pervert for life and let them liver for free? I say terminate them and be done with it. It would be less expensive and save on the government budget.

  • Jim

I thought Eric was against slavery.

    • GRIZZ MANN

Holder, not investigating a crime? What a surprise? Hiding the investigation through the courts, another surprise? Democrats endorsing child porn, no surprise. Gun runners, restricting gun owners rights, no surprise.

  • Ugh

Underlying, unsaid theme of this article: Lori has lost a custody battle in Maine over her daughter after failing at a campaign to convince everyone who would listen that her ex-husband abused and solicited their daughter.

Here, she's found one 5-day-old story of about a John list that MIGHT have important state official names on it, slapped on a speculation of child trafficking involvement, and made it her platform to rage at Eric Holder, wanting direct attention for herself and indirect attention for her lies about her daughter being abused.

She blasts the DOJ for "not doing anything" about a "recently reported" incident that likely has no evidence thus far of involving child trafficking and then expands it to the Obama Administration and DOJ not caring about the problem at all.

    Problem is…..

…just the first articles I grabbed from ONE page of google results after a general "us child porn sweep" search.

Lori actually believes (she has tweeted this several times) that she may end up dead because she is a "whistleblower" against child trafficking activities among government officials. My guess is that she's thrown together this rag of an article so she can have one more record of how she's pointed out police/gov corruption and how the people on top "refuse to do anything about it". Reeks of self-righteousness. Every law enforcement globally can always do more to take down human trafficking and child porn, but they are not and they have not been "doing nothing".

      here here!

  • Really Cmon NOw

I see Ms. Handrahan is still trying to present herself as an expert despite the fact that she has been found to be one of the worst Narcissists around (diagnosed, note); has been found to have caused severe abuse against her own child; has attempted to destroy a great father to garner attention for herself; and has made 0 attempt for almost 2 full years now to speak to her child whom she regularly states is three years old, despite the fact that the child will be six years old in two short months. Oh – and if you really want to get into child pornography, Ms. Handrahan – the moment that you posted the nude, spread eagle picture of your own child upon the web as "Proof" of abuse, you yourself committed child pornography.

  • Ugh

Okay fine. I'll take out the ad hominem (even though it is completely relevant and maybe frontpagemag should look into their content and writers before publishing garbage)…

  • OH MY!

Shouldn't research be carried out about the writers of articles on this site before their published? As you can see, Handrahan has her own agenda here….She has accused the entire state of Maine of keeping her daughter in a pedophile ring because she lost custody for abuse and coaching of her daughter..Here is her site https://www.facebook.com/SavingMila…as you can see is it basically designed to bash and defame everyone involved in the decision to remover her daughter from her custody…. Some more info available . .http://truthaboutlorihandrahan.wordpress.com/ ..It amazes me that she holds any credence amongst journalists! people are indeed fooled by her job and the fact she has Dr,,in front of her name…from a degree in social studies! LOL. ..you can also google the recent decision by a federal judge that awarded Loris ex husband compensation for the slander and defamatory accusations he has suffered. She is a woman on a mission and you all are enabling her.

Is the porn problem different from the drug problem?
    It benefit some!!!
Some want to be protected from disclosing their abuses.
The demo match easily the excesses of the right. Both parties are guilty.

  • Ghostwriter

    My response:EWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Michael Waxman

I don't understand how this author's drivel is published when it is clearly unsupported, hysterical conjecture meant to advance her warped, selfish agenda. Does Front Page Mag do NO vetting of its contibutors? Remarkable.

  • Michael Waxman

Oh, and the "retired police officer from Maine" Handrahan refers to is none other than her long-time private investigator Stephen Pickering, a former Maine State Trooper who will go to great lengths – while being paid to do so — to advance Handrahan's agenda. Those lengths include trying to intimdate Handrahan's ex-husband's lawyer and his family and making false accusations that the same lawyer has forged documents and misled police. This article is not journalism. It is propaganda.

  • C.R.

I've known for a long time–that most police are corrupt and incompetent–its the norm not the exception!

I've known for a long time–the police are not "our friends".

I've also known for a long time–that rape and pedophile rings–operate within the highest political circles in Washington D.C. and in the military.

Unfortunately most people who identify with being conservative–are pathetically ignorant of the above realities–and often when confronted with the truth–they whine about it being a conspiracy theory or some other bit of nonsense.

  • sarah

Another interesting, delusional video from author of this article…One of the many reasons she was successfully sued for slander and defamation….Does THIS look like a desparate mother to you?? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RfaRNG2QCx8 As usual, creating lies about her daughter to gain attention for herself.. Methinks her malicious crusade and the trouble she has gotten herself into would make a better, more FACTUAL article for FrontPageNews!

Eric Holder closed the obscenity dept when he came in . figures does it

  • disintelligentsia

The stat that the child porn industry is a 20 billion per year industry is a bad joke. The Wall Street Journal article she linked to indicates that it was made up out of whole cloth and no one knows where it originated from with the last links in the chain of cites stating that "the FBI said it", without being able to point to where the FBI stated it and the FBI specifically disclaims having stated that statistic.

Also, Ms. Handrahan has basically accused the government of Maine and the DOJ of being in a conspiracy to commit child pornography and paedophilia with her daughter. She accused her ex-husband of crimes against their daughter and the courts and the government agents all stated that she fabricated her claims to get custody. A court recently awarded her ex-husband and her daughter a total of $750,000.00 in damages because of the harm her claims have caused. Someone as unhinged as she is should not be teaching at a university and should be jailed for perjury and child abuse (for the harm she caused her daughter because of her false claims). See more at: http://www.fathersandfamilies.org/2012/10/28/fede

  • On Point

Its called rape & it doesnt matter the age. All rapists should be put in front of a firing squad. No mercy for that kind of wicked.

  • Reason

Is anyone else utterly disgusted by the politicizing of this kind of atrocious, sub-human crime? Imagine hearing that your child had been raped by a neighbor you had differing political views with, and your first instinct was to attack them for political views, rather than, well, I know what I'd do as a father. Time. And it would be worth it.

It's another form of exploitation, taking the victims and using them as political currency. Disgusting doesn't come close to describing the mind of anyone who could think of anything other than "I'm ending this. now, any way I can, at any cost." Never does a man stand so tall as when he stoops to help a child. And never does he stoop so low as when seeks to gain advantage for himself (or even more reprehensibly, his political party of choice) over protecting that child.

If you think this is a new phenomenon that doesn't predate Obama's presidency you're either an imbecile, complicit or deluded. This has been going on for centuries around the globe, the trafficing and use of children by so called elites, police, priests, politicians and judges.

Think of the children, not how you can use these already horrifically abused wretches to get the AG or president you want into power. Or you're no better than they child trafficers, exploiting misery for political pointscoring. Put the children first. PUT YOUR CHILDREN FIRST.

  • Reason

Also, do you think we could ease up on the religious right moral outrage, and dragging abortion into this? Children are being raped. That's the issue here. If ever there was a time to stop pushing the pro-life barrow for a moment, the time you spend commenting on this article is that time. Child sex abuse is teh issue here. Try to stay on topic.
