Soros Election-Rigging Scheme Collapses

Pages: 1 2

A George Soros-backed scheme that paved the way for Al Franken’s 2008 theft of a U.S. Senate seat has collapsed months ahead of the critical November elections.

Rumors of the death of the Secretary of State Project had been circulating for months. Michael Kieschnick, co-founder of the Secretary of State Project, confirmed that his group has shut down in an interview at the recent “Take Back the American Dream” conference in Washington, D.C.

Although the so-called 527 political committee “still exists” on paper, “2010 was terrible so we’ve switched our efforts,” said Michael Kieschnick wearing a tee shirt reading “ORGANIZER” in block capital letters. Section 527 of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code allows the group to accept unlimited financial contributions.

The idea behind the Secretary of State Project was that in most states the secretary of state runs elections and that a relative pittance can help swing these little-watched state contests, allowing even small donors to play a big role in installing a powerful state official who can tilt the playing field in favor of Democrats.

The writing had been on the wall for the Secretary of State Project. The group’s website,, is currently offline after vanishing from the Internet in July of last year. Its Facebook page, YouTube channel, and Twitter account hadn’t been updated since 2010. The group hadn’t endorsed any candidates for the 2012 election cycle and its most recent IRS filings show almost no financial activity since the 2010 election cycle.

The Secretary of State Project’s signature achievement was helping to elect the unethical Saul Alinsky-inspired community organizer Mark Ritchie. Ritchie is the radical, ACORN-loving Minnesota secretary of state who orchestrated Al Franken’s theft of incumbent Republican Norm Coleman’s U.S. Senate seat in the 2008 election cycle. Before that Ritchie was president of the Minneapolis-based Institute for Agriculture and Trade Policy. In 2000 he supported Ralph Nader’s candidacy for president.

Soros and progressives all across the fruited plain believe with a religious fervor that right-leaning secretaries of state helped the GOP supposedly steal the presidential elections in Florida in 2000 (Katherine Harris) and in Ohio in 2004 (Ken Blackwell).

The SoS Project endorsed secretary of state candidates who took the position that voter fraud is a myth; that voter suppression is widely and solely used by Republicans; that it’s a waste of time to remove obviously fraudulent names from voter rolls; and that legal requirements that voters show photo identification somehow discriminate against racial minorities.

That's good news. I remember reading that Soros stopped funneling money into other parts of the 2010 election as well.

All we need to do is keep the House, get four seats in the Senate and capture the White House and Obamacare will do down in flames b/c it's a TAX. Therefore, we only need a majority to vote yes to repeal.

Boehner and McConnell will find a way to lose. They always do.

      • 4_Constitution

I don't think Boehner will be elected Speaker again.

    • Linda Lowe

Please tell me you all don't actually believe this…OMG he is going to win again because the American people are still stupid.

      • 4_Constitution

There are more conservatives than there are liberals therefore I think we'll win. Whose side are you on anyway?

  • ★FALCON★

Soros and the rest of the communists can't trust that the voters will vote correctly in the Secretary of State Project Scheme, so they have abandoned that platform in favor of out-right election theft in the form of voter software that should be foolproof. And you need foolproof when Democrat morons are involved in pulling a lever.

A stolen election should be all the proof you need that the DHS ramp-up is for a reason.

"Soros and progressives all across the fruited plain believe with a religious fervor that right-leaning secretaries of state helped the GOP supposedly steal the presidential elections in Florida in 2000 (Katherine Harris) and in Ohio in 2004 (Ken Blackwell)."

Meanwhile, in a related story, the projection/propaganda/delusions of propriety of the Left never ends.

    • Looking4Sanity

I wonder what evil B_tard will end up with his money when the old succubus finally croaks. I'm betting it will be someone even worse than him.

      • Kevin Stowell

Heh heh. Short of Satan, is there a such a personage?

        • Looking4Sanity

Obama? Ahmadinijad? Lil' Kim Jr.? They could always dig up Hitler and give it to him.

          • Roger

Mimi Me must have been based on something, I'm guessing the dark one's smaller self.

This is good news…now on to stop Soros from having control over the counting of our ballots in November, since he now owns the company (or is it the software?) that will be doing it in Spain. I think he has just moved on to another scheme. Never ever believe that he has given up.

    • Asher

The problem with Progressives is that after you solve one problem they create new ones…thats where the phrase comes from…"Never allow the public to cool off." They just keep trying to wear everyone out so they give up!

    • Oleg

Soros will give up after he is dead and burried, literally, or the bastard is finally convicted of insider trading or other avenues of stock manipulation and fraud like he has been in in other countries.

  • clarespark

Before George Soros made the scene, Democratic politicians had a set of ethics that Lenin would have admired. See these rules for Democrats, written before Saul Alinsky, by leading Democratic politician and ambassador to Spain, Claude Bowers, white supremacist supreme . "Before Saul Alinsky: Rules for Democratic Politicians."

  • Asher

The election of Al Franken was frustrating…Minnesota lost a good senator in Norm Coleman…We have to stop the illegal things that are going on to stop the legal voting process.

    • Roger

I will never support Pawlenty for anything since he didn't step in and take action.
He should have called for, and gone to the media with every foul act his Secretary of State tried. For him to allow it to go on unchallenged shows he's not the leadership we need right now.

  • Maxie

"the Department of Justice has blocked voter ID laws in Texas and South Carolina."

On what authority?? Where's the Texas & So. Carolina GOP?

  • Ann

I trust Soros about as far as I can throw that insane SOB. Where did he go now? Could it be the communist jerk just found a better way to stuff the November ballot, like perhaps the Spanish George Soros company who is in charge of counting the votes in November?

Do not let his( Soros) grey head go down to the grave in peace.

    The author writes:

"Soros and progressives all across the fruited plain believe with a religious fervor that right-leaning secretaries of state helped the GOP supposedly steal the presidential elections in Florida in 2000 (Katherine Harris) and in Ohio in 2004 (Ken Blackwell)."

I disagree. They're just lying about this, the way they do about everything else.

A central part of the far left / progressive strategy is to accuse the right of doing anything sleazy or dishonest that they are about to do, before they even do it. By doing this, they put their opposition on the defensive right away, so that when caught cheating, they always have the same canned response, ready to go.. They pretend that they're surprised that anyone is pointing a finger at them, because it's a well known fact that the other guys are the ones guilty of doing that….

It's the big lie squared…. And it appears that a huge segment of the American public simply isn't smart enough to see through their BS. Their entire campaign is based on a foundation of big lies…

The first is that they're even trying to improve the American economy, when it's obvious that they're deliberately destroying it directly from the Alinsky / Cloward – Piven playbook.

The second is that they inherited this big mess from Bush. They didn't. They inherited it from Clinton, in the same way that Bush inherited 9-11 from Clinton, due to his cuts to the military, and his cowardly impersonation of a commander in chief.

The economic collapse is a direct result of the collapse of the real estate market, which was directly caused by Carter's "Community Reinvestment Act, (CRA) which Clinton beefed up and made substantially worse.

To make matters worse, the powers that be in the GOP are too cowardly to impeach Obama, which makes them co-conspirators with the progressive left. Tom Tancredo wrote an excellent piece about this recently that everyone should read:

If we don't have the courage and convictions to get rid of Obama now, it's hard to see why we even deserve to survive. we brought this upon ourselves, & we have to fix it ourselves.

Atlas isn't going to Shrug on his own. We're the ones who have to make it happen.

The following is an exchange between this author and a Democrat campaign worker during this years primary. (In 2008, someone had registered m-y 12-year old son, as a Democrat, and he was receiving calls that eye took and recorded. He got more calls in 2010. But this primary season, there were calls for Susan, Anita, Abrian, and Christopher, but the same last name and who don't live in this home but at three different addresses.

Steve: "Do I need an ID?"
Worker: "Let me check. — No."
Steve: "So I can send my brother?"
Worker: "YES." (She again asked a worker if ID was needed.)
Steve: "So I can send my brother?"
    Worker: "YES."

Yes, but Holder and company deny there is any reason for alarm. The percentages of abuse just isn't there in his mind. Meanwhile, on their side, it's the "every vote should count" mantra, followed by "Republicans are trying to stifle the vote of the poor and down-trodden." So, to hell with Holder's view and the percentages he says isn't there….The right should adopt the mantra, " Every LEGIMATE vote should count!"

Here in New Mexico, our new Secretary of State, Diana Duran, our first Republican in over sixty years, found a NM law that bans VOTING STRAIGHT PARTY TICKET so she is following the law AND THE DEMOCRATS ARE GOING BONKERS! They say that the lines will be long since people will have to read the ballot and to separately check each candidate and with wait times, and long lines, people will be disgusted and leave.

Being that our State is electing three Congressmen, in three different Districts, and you can only vote for one, and one open Senate seat that adds up to two persons who you have to look for. Then there is one other for the President with several choices. TOO HARD? There may be several local issues on the ballot and you can't vote straight party anyway since it is a "yes or no" which requires reading them anyway.

Our past Democrat Secretary of State is under INDICTMENT FOR VOTER FRAUD when she used MILLIONS in state money for elections to promote a Democrat program. Something shady is going on since it is a Democrat Attorney General who is dragging his feet on the case and the case might be dismissed since she wasn't brought up for trial in a timely fashion. The same Attorney General is now investigating our Republican Governor, Susana Martinez, for using her state email account for Republican issues but every Governor since the invention of the email has done the same but with the most being the eight years of Bill Richardson. THIS DEMOCRAT ATTORNEY GENERAL has just announced his run for Governor AGAINST SUSANA MARTINEZ, THE SAME PERSON HE IS INVESTIGATING! SMELL FISHY???

Soros is banned from doing business in Thailand and has been convicted of insider trading in France, it's only a matter of time until he slips up and gets caught and convicted for insider trading or another form of stock manipulation and fraud, the old commie just can't help himself..

  • jgalt6

There can never be any peace with these leftist loons, as you can only get along with them on their strict terms. As an anti-American hater and destroyer, Soros needs to go to sleep permanently, which we can only hope happens soon. These are truly sick control freaks, who are only happy when hating and attacking anyone who dares to disagree with them.
