Why Christian Persecution Is Islam’s Achilles’ Heel

Which of the following three headlines is most difficult for the media—including the usual array of liberal pundits, apologists, academics, and politicians—to whitewash or rationalize away?  Which most exposes Islam’s inherent intolerance?

A)   “Allahu Akbar” screaming Muslims fire rockets into Israel

B)   “Allahu Akbar” screaming Muslims riot and commit acts of violence in Europe

C)   “Allahu Akbar” screaming Muslims torch a Christian church in a Muslim country

The answer is C—Christian persecution.

Why?

Because in both scenarios A and B, Muslims will always be portrayed and seen as the “underdogs”—and hence always exonerated for their behavior.  No matter how violent or ugly, no matter how many Islamic slogans are shrieked—thus placing their behavior in a purely Islamic context—Muslim violence against the West and Israel will always be dismissed as a product of the weak and outnumbered status of Muslims—their status as underdogs, which the West tends to romanticize.  And so they will always get a free pass, without further ado.

They may be screaming and rioting, firing rockets and destroying property—all while calling for the death and destruction of the “infidel” West and/or Israel to cries of “Allahu Akbar!” Still, no problem.  According to the aforementioned array of pundits, apologists, academics, and politicians, such bloodlust is a natural byproduct of the frustration Muslims feel as an oppressed minority, “rightfully” angry with the “colonial” West and its Israeli proxy.  Indeed, that is precisely how even the 9/11 attacks on the U.S. by al-Qaeda were rationalized away by many “experts”—even as al-Qaeda’s own words exposed their animus as a direct product of Muslim doctrine not temporal grievances.

Most recently, the New York Times, in the context of the rocket attacks on Tel Aviv, asserted that Israel “needs a different approach to Hamas and the Palestinians based more on acknowledging historic grievances,” thus taking all blame off the “aggrieved” and “underdog” Muslims and Palestinians.

But if Muslims get a free pass when their violence is directed against those currently stronger than them, how does one rationalize away their violence when it is directed against those weaker than them, those who have no political influence whatsoever?  Consider the most obvious of these scenarios, the growing epidemic of Muslim persecution of Christians.  From one end of the Islamic world to the other—whether in Arab lands, African lands, Asian lands, or Sinic lands, wherever Muslims are a majority—the largest non-Muslim religious group, Christians, suffer untold atrocities.

The rationalizations used to minimize Muslim violence against the West and Israel simply cannot work here—for now Muslims are the majority, and they are the ones violent and oppressive to their minorities, often in ways that would make the worst Israeli treatment of Muslims look kind and benevolent.

In short, Christian persecution is one of, if not the clearest reflections of Islamic supremacism.   Vastly outnumbered and politically marginalized Christians simply wish to worship in peace, and yet still are they hounded and attacked, their churches burned and destroyed, their women and children enslaved and raped (see monthly “Muslim Persecution of Christians” reports for an example).

These Christians are often identical to their Muslim co-citizens in race, ethnicity, national identity, and language; there is no political dispute, no land dispute.  The only problem is that they are Christian—they are the other—and so must be subjugated, according to Sharia’s position for all “others,” for all infidels—including Israel and the West.

Such is the true nature of Muslim rage throughout the world: it is a byproduct of doctrinal intolerance if not downright hatred for the other, who must always be kept in a state of subjugation and humiliation, according to the letter of the Quran.

Accordingly, while Christian persecution is the clearest example of this hate, it also explains why others are so despised, for example, Israel.

Consider: Christians and Jews are both constantly castigated in the Quran: Muslims are admonished not to befriend either of them (5:51) and to fight and subjugate them “until they pay tribute with willing submission and feel themselves brought low” (9:29).  Christians under Islam are suffering accordingly—as despised dhimmis, abused and “brought low,” routinely plundered of their lives, dignity, and possessions.

On the other hand, Israel—the dhimmi that got away—actually has authority and power over Muslims.  Now, if dhimmis are supposed to be kept in total submission to Muslims, how then when one of them actually lords over Muslims?

Hence Islam’s immense and existential rage against the Jewish state.

With all due respect Raymond, it's only an Achilles heel if Christian societies actually take notice and do something about it. Ask the Christians of Southern Sudan about the assistance they were denied during a quarter century of genocide at the hands of their Muslim oppressors. It wasn't until Sudanese MUSLIMS were being raped and murdered by the thousands in Darfur by the same oppressive government that Westerners finally took notice of the tortured country.

It's the same in Nigeria, where Christians are being slaughtered almost daily by Boko Harum…and the Western world turns a blind eye. Almost 10,000 have been killed in the last 11 years (many times more casualties than the Palestinians suffered over the same period). The US government willfully refuses to classify the violence as religiously motivated.

    • Elena

Oh but do we get our panties in a wad when Assad does the same to his own people! Muslims seem to be the only people on the planet with the right to live the way they please. Christians and other are nothing to the world.

    • Esther

Well, I believe Mr Ibrahim's point, as he puts it in his first sentence, is that nothing exposes Islam's image as much as Christian persecution, whcih the media just can't whitewash in the usual way, "Moslem underdogs," blah, blah. This is true and is an approach that all anti-Islamists should highlight.

      • Chezwick

But the media CAN and DOES whitewash the Muslim persecution of Christians, Esther, mostly by ignoring it….but also by attributing it to "confessional violence" (as in Egypt, where the implication is that Muslims and Christians are equally responsible for the conflict)…and to "a fight over grazing rights" (as in Nigeria, where AP has repeated this fabrication over and over).

      • Raymond in DC

The media doesn't so much "whitewash" Muslim persecution of Christians as simply ignore it.

    • objectivefactsmatter

"With all due respect Raymond, it's only an Achilles heel if Christian societies actually take notice and do something about it."

Achilles heel was weak from soon after his birth long before it was used against him.

Does anyone have a clear answer why the Left aligns with Islam – two of the most contradicting paradigms? Nothing thus far explains this enigma adequately, Marxist and antisemitism nonesense notwithstanding in this case.

    • Mary Sue

Because of "tolerance" (which they purport Islam has but they really have none) and "the enemy of my enemy is my friend", the common enemy being Christianity and Judaism plus capitalism.

It's hard to say who found and wooed who first, the Islamists, or the Lefties. Either way it's a match made in hell.

      • inzion

One can follow the enemy of its enemy is Islam's friend to satisfy Muslim's blood lust – as was seen with islam and the Nazis in W.W.2, this despite that the Muslims would also be targeted by the Nazis eventually.

But the notion of common enemy does not cut it with Left athiests/Marxists against fundamentalism and religions like Christianity & Judaism: Islam is awesomely more fundemantalist. Its like saying the Left will drink lethal poison and die to hurt Christians & Jews.

Something else is a foot here and everyone is pointing in an incorrect direction of what it is. One factor is that today's Liberalism is not the same as it was 20 years ago: infiltration has occurred; the Dems have abandoned all their goals for oil money payola.

Nor does the targeting of Christianity cut it, even as this is highly evident: it is arguable who hates Jews more, Europe or Islam: the latter could not get to first base w/o the EU's support at the UN; the holocaust was caused by Britain's corruption of the Balfour and the White Paper, and the quest for serial 2-state demands in the same land goes on unabated. My finger points at Europe, possibly a syndrome group that has rejected the Church and saw its only path by exploiting, inciting and sweling Islam. Chaos reigns.

        • Mary Sue

What's interesting is I am pretty sure the objection to "capitalism" is the timeworn accusation that "Jews are dishonest business people" and that's something any self-disresepecting Antisemite, be they Islamist or not, can get behind.

Irony: when people who actually work for a living are called "bloodsuckers" while people who WILL NOT work (but CAN) are upheld as paragons of virtue.

          • inzion

Its candy for fools. Any reasonable person will conclude the Jews battled under impossible conditions and produced much. Over 90% of the world's medical breakthroughs come from Jews. Europe & Islam's properity is substantially from Jews – so who else will the lefties trust?

    • http://madaboutmahound.blogspot.com/ Gary Rumain

No, they're not contradictory. The Left is oriented towards fascism. Consider the Nazis. Then consider pislamofascism. Birds of a feather.

      • Mary Sue

It was quite the sleight of hand, wasn't it, when the Left decided that because the Communists "opposed" the Nazis (and vice versa), that Nazism was therefore right wing instead of left wing?

    • kafir

Leftist thinking centers on change, change, change, regardless of whether or not the current system of government works. They are essentially dissatisfied with the status quo and seek to change it, whether or not their proposed changes make sense, are just, or will work. In this light, the left would gladly side with Islam in a country where Islam doesn't dominate, because both groups want to change something. In a country like Saudi Arabia, however, where Islam truly dominates, the left would side with whatever groups want to overthrow the current regime and establish anything else.

The right on the other hand, seeks to maintain the status quo. The trick to good governance is knowing when to leave something that's working alone and when to change that which isn't working. A good rule of thumb, however, is to enact change sparingly, because turbulence and chaos are almost never good.

In this case, changing the West to align itself more with Islam would be the stupidest thing imaginable and would totally devastate 236 years of democratic freedoms enjoyed by the U.S. Leftist thinkers need to pull their collective heads out of their rear ends, wake up, and smell the sh.. wafting over here from the Middle East.

      • inzion

Rubbish. Aligning or tolerating with Islam is hardly a change – it is jumping into the fire from the pot. Giving power to islam is the single greatest threat to the left, far more than Christianity and akin to suicide.

        • objectivefactsmatter

"Giving power to islam is the single greatest threat to the left, far more than Christianity and akin to suicide."

We know that, but they don't believe the "Islamo-phobes."

          • Mary Sue

I've noticed the people that are quick to jump to the defense of the religion of Islam aren't too keen on actual critical thinking. They don't offer up much in the way of disproving what the "Islamo-phobes" say; it's like they expect that it's to be instantly discredited because they deem it "hateful" (and thus false).

It's particularly frustrating that they point to others that disparage "islamo-phobes" but then have nothing to say with the disparagers they're relying on don't have much to go on either except their own opinion, and doubly frustrating when they refuse to even look at the material in question. It's like they're being deliberately and wilfully ignorant.

          • jonmc

"it's like they expect that it's to be instantly discredited because they deem it "hateful".
            But of course.
That's the whole point of creating (false) labels like "Islamophobe" – everybody knows "phobes" are bad people – and if you can throw in bigot (tut-tut), racist (shudder) and fascist (gasp) then no-one has to think about it any longer – it can be dismissed out-of-hand since anyone who is one (never mind ALL) of those is obviously an EEEVILL person to be shunned and ignored.

    • Demetrius M

My opinion is the left aligins itself with whatever entity has a mission statement dedicated to the destruction of the United States or the entire western, free market, Christian world. They hate capitalism (it's a swear word for them), they seem to dislike freedom (magna carta-constitution what?) and they really dislike true religions of tolerance. Islam is mostly associated with fascism so it makes perfect sense.

      • Hamid

        exactly so!

      • inzion

This does appear closer to the truth in one sense – an extension of the cold war. But it does not explain aligning with a system like Islam, which is way more fundy than any other religion. Its like saying the Nazis aligned with the gypsies & gays to counter the jews. Makes no sense at all.

        • objectivefactsmatter

"But it does not explain aligning with a system like Islam, which is way more fundy than any other religion. Its like saying the Nazis aligned with the gypsies & gays to counter the jews. Makes no sense at all."

They don't understand or agree with Islam. They feel superior and expect to use them against the enemy they truly fear, believers in the Bible and atheists who understand Biblical values made the West all that makes it great. They don't think the West is great because it needs to "evolve" more in their minds, and they are the most evolved humans. They can therefore use the Muslims against their strongest enemies and then defeat them easily. This also explains the low expectations they have of Muslims. They're bigots who simply exploit their defective racial theory and hide it under "social justice" and BS like that. They're only after winning the long game. They don't care about traditional values or who they destroy and lie to along the way.

It's pragmatic and based on incorrect facts. That's why it doesn't make sense to those who only know the correct facts without knowing the comprehensive details of their false beliefs and "values."

          He made a joke.

lunatic (adj.) late 13c., "affected with periodic insanity, dependent on the changes of the moon," from O.Fr. lunatique, lunage "insane," or directly from L.L. lunaticus "moon-struck," from L. luna "moon" (see Luna). Cf. O.E. monseoc "lunatic," lit. "moon-sick;" M.H.G. lune "humor, temper, mood, whim, fancy" (Ger. Laune), from L. luna. Cf. also N.T. Gk. seleniazomai "be epileptic," from selene "moon." Lunatic fringe (1913) was apparently coined by U.S. politician Theodore Roosevelt.
Then, among the wise and high-minded people who in self-respecting and genuine fashion strive earnestly for peace, there are foolish fanatics always to be found in such a movement and always discrediting it — the men who form the lunatic fringe in all reform movements. [Theodore Roosevelt, autobiography, 1913].

–Allah is a Pagan moon idol. Saying they have lunacy in common is a pun. Both do display lunatic behavior if we look at jihadis and "occupiers" not to mention guys like that fat moronic filmmaker Michael Moore.

Well, it seems as though the left in general believes in evolution of man as a species, including culture. Evolution just happens organically. These people believe they are anti-racist by being what they view as benign bigots. Put another way, their low expectations of Muslims and other cultures also means they think they can control and exploit them as needed. Right now they make an effective weapon against conservatives, Christians, Jews and especially those who are members of more than one of those groups. They're partly correct. It is an effective weapon. They're wrong thinking they can outsmart the Muslims because their ideology is just as delusional, and they have no reason at all to feel superior to Islamic jihadis.

In short, they're extremely arrogant and think they will be the winners after the class warfare is complete. I've had enough candid and extensive conversations to know what the thought leaders believe. The rest just follow and repeat the nonsense whether or not they've ever heard the comprehensive theory behind it all – they just repeat the rhetoric they can remember and imagine their version of a perfect world. With no "God Delusion," who but them to bring on that perfect world?

Because the utopian vision is no longer anchored in the reality of an actually existing socialist state, the Left can now indulge its nihilistic agendas without restraint."

"…the condition under which the Western Left could join an international coalition with Islamic jihadists was the existence of a 'liberation' struggle backed by Islamic regimes (however brutal) that were opposed to some degree by the United States. This condition was met in the Arab war against Israel, which in the last decade of the twentieth century became the fusion oint of Western radicalism and Islamic jihad." –David Horowitz, UNHOLY ALLIANCE: RADICAL ISLAM AND THE AMERICAN LEFT (Washington, D.C.: Regnery Publishing, 2004) pp. 59, 69,131.

Clever because we do study the history of the crusades, without bothering to point out legitimate causes, or minimizing them with silly moral equivalence deceptions. We need to study Islamic imperialism any time we study Islam at all. Islam is imperialistic at its roots. Why do so few people know this? Answer: Liberal dupes and liars.

    • Patscholar

The crusades only began after 500 years of Muslims murdering and conquering Christians, Jews, other Muslims, Hindus, Budhists, Zorastorians and others across Persia (Iran), Iraq, Turkey, Syria, Greece, Egypt, Isreal, North Africa and Spain. Muslims are responsible for some 178,000,000 murders of these people over 1400 years. In other words, the Crusades were defensive and didn't amount to much compared to the destruction wrought by the Muslims. Since 2001 there have been some 20,000 acts of terrorism against Jews, Christians and all of the above peoples, including Americans and Europeans. If it were not for Islam, the world would be largely at peace today.

They're all collectivists. This gives them moral equivalence arguments that may be very stupid, but there are endless victim stories to use for creating new ones. Just keep trying till you put your opponent to sleep. That is what it's like trying to rationalize with a liberal, and Muslim imperialists know this. The Saudis know this and so do many other manipulative Islamic imperialist operators in the Muslim Brotherhood, etc.

My view may be off center what caused today's chaos. Britain's corruption of the Balfour Mandate was and remains the greatest Post-W.W.2 crime. It was followed by the White Paper that substantially caused the Holocaust. Britain did this evil after creating 22 fictitious islamic regimes 100 years ago which never existed before, in secret, with none voted for at the UN, all to one islamic family, with no conditions attached. Why, when Islam's Ottomans lost the war – why no Chrstian states at all!?

Reason: Britain did it for 30 barrels of oil.
Result: Islamic regimes were given the power of wealth, which buys them fase legitimacy via payola to turn white into black, as seen today in Europe, Asia and now America. Its why they get away with the transfer of the name Palestinians from Jews to Muslims after 2,000 years. Its why serial 2-states can be demanded every 60 years in the same land of Palestine. Its why Christians are being dislodged from the Middle-east and also from Europe. And there is none to judge Britain who walked out whistling and calls Israel an occupier of Jerusalem & Hebron today – the birth places of the Judeo-Christian thread – thanks to the horrific silence of Christians. The left is a result of this silence.

"My view may be off center what caused today's chaos. Britain's corruption of the Balfour Mandate was and remains the greatest Post-W.W.2 crime."

If you mean greatest crime perpetrated by the West, that's not an unfair statement. It was about oil by the way. The UK lost its confidence in administration of these "folks" once they realized they also needed the oil to be flowing steadily and cheaply in order to remain at the top of the food chain. That is not an unfair objective. but their tactics were stupid and lazy, not to mention amoral.

The rest of what you say is not wrong, but I'd present it a little differently. Also remember that states are not monolithic even when their foreign policy tries to be. There have always been factions of people who got it right and made the case for justice. They did not always win, but they never went away as a group. The tradition lives on to speak up even when you are drowned out by oil-rich liars and their dupes.

      • WilliamJamesWard

For clarity "I'd present it a little differently". I would also, afterall the Balfour declaration
was made after the first and not the second World War. The concerns about and greed
for oil was much different back then and the cause of wealth and dominion did not hinge
on the posession of Arab oil. The oil industry was yet to become a major factor in world
affairs, in hindsight and before unscrupulous brokers shut down American production
Islam was not in possessin of trillions of oil dollars. Today we are in and artificial market
where American oil sits idle and the power of expended funds pours into enemy hands
due to our own corrupt political elites and business moguls that have no allegiance
to Nations but only to a select ruling class………."liars and dupes"……cultivated over
decades to undermine our way of life……………William

    To Stuart Parsons

You are being sarcastic, are you not?

    • Brian Edwards

Stuart Parson's comments, whether sarcastic or sincere, are based on the Koran:

"We gave of old the Scriptures and wisdom to the line of Abraham, and we gave them a grand kingdom: –Some of them believe on the prophet [Mohammad] and some turn from him: –the flame of Hell is their sufficing punishment! Those who disbelieve our signs we will in the end cast into the fire: so oft as their skins shall be well burnt, we will change them for fresh skins, that they may taste the torment. Verily God is Mighty, Wise! (Sura 4:57-59; Rodwell translation & verse numbering).

"In short, Christian persecution is one of, if not the clearest reflections of Islamic supremacism." This may be true from your point of view, but from the Muslim point of view, the Christians of today are polytheists and they don't deserve to live, especially if they do not submit to Sharia Law. Islam has laws against everthing that is not Islamic in nature and therefore they will pursecute anyone who will not submit.

All Muslims who do not understand and agree with "Reciprocity" and Human Rights should stay in their original countries. From a theological point of view Islam has nothing to teach to Biblical Judeo-Christianity either, as there is no need for a prophet to correct alleged biblical mistakes after 7 centuries from the Passion of Christ and His Resurrection. The Grace of the true Gospel is so much elevated that Islam doesn't seem capable to find nothing better then fighting against Freedom… All this while the Saudi preach Religious Dialogue from Vienna. Let me tell you very clearly even if the Western Media shut-up: those who fight Truth and Freedom by the sword are destined in History to be the "most successful bunch of losers". The cure for Islam is "Internation Reciprocity" but if the Civilised World will fail in this… (they will) YHWH the true God of Abraham will not fail in His appointed time and let the abuse of religious crime go scot-free.

Christians: Being given the power of perception by the Holy Spirit; I can only put my hand to my mouth as I watch the anti-christ work his anger knowing he only has a short time. This last American election cemented the reality of Lucifers angst against one of the last strongholds in the world to uphold Israels right to exist. I thought surely, we as a people and nation would always uphold the forefathers guiding truths about religious freedom. Americas "rule of law" would always be above the reproach of any religion as we believed in truth. There is no debate with a lie. It is impossible to argue with a religion that has no basis in truth in anything they tell you. Hence Babylon means confusion. So hold your head high as the end draws near. There will be persecution as prophecy has foretold. Come out of her my people. Rev:18:4

Here's what evil Islam has done for 1400 years. 270 million murdered over 1400 years of Islam. The DATA does not lie in this video:

"Why We Are Afraid, A 1400 Year Secret", by Dr B.Warner
The myth of the “Golden Age” of Islam. The real cause of the Dark Ages. The "Crusades" were just Christians who finally fought back instead of letting Islamic Supremacist slaughter them. And more. Muslims have raped, enslaved, tortured, murdered Christians, Jews, Hindus, Zoastrians, Buddhists, Secularists, etc.; destroyed libraries, & denied physical laws. Dr. Warner analyzes Islamic Jihad (killing non-Muslims) through political Islamic doctrine of jihad & the data shows Islam kills Muslims and Non-Muslims, i.e. the data shows that it Is bad for all. The history of Islam in Europe and how it affects us to this day. This is a history based on numbers and facts that you may not see anywhere else and explains why we may be afraid to see Islam for what it is based on its own doctrine and practice. Christians don’t acknowledge the persecution of Christians the world over. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t_Qpy0mXg8Y&fe

Walid Shoebat – Why Islam is the Antichrist 1 of 22
Walid Shoebat was a PLO Islamic terrorist. He hated Israel & the Jews until he started reading the Bible to prove it wrong. Then he became a Judeo-Christian & now lives to help Israel & the Jews & live to please the Lord Jesus Christ. He explains, from the perspective of a former practicing terrorist, why he believes the Bible tells us that Islam is the Anti-Christ. These are VERY, VERY interesting 10-minute videos. He is funny at times too. He is extremely knowledgeable about history, the Middle East, and the Bible. Make sure you watch where he tells about what happened to Armenia in the early 1900s. Armenia is called Smyrna in the Bible. Smyrna was the FIRST nation to declare itself a Christian nation. Emperor Constantine in 300 A.D. Kim Kardashian & her family are of Armenian descent. Listen to him tell what our schools do not teach in history anymore. Kim Kardashian recently tweeted support for Israel & was quickly ravaged for it by her followers so she took it down. She needs to know this & tweet the link to the video. We all need to post this video & get people to see the truth. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9OxKMxds-P8

I didn't say this part in my last post about Walid Shoebat explaining the Armenian Genocide by Islamic Supremacists: The Ottoman Turk Islamic Supremacists starved, disfigured, burned, raped, chopped up, beheaded, crucified, & killed almost every Armenian. So many women's heads were thrown in the harbor that the American and European ships that were there could not get their propellers to move so they could leave. So many heads & women's hair had the propellers tangled. Listen to him tell what our schools do not teach in history anymore. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9OxKMxds-P8

HEBREW HISTORY (It was Jews who were taken captive to Babylon (Iraq), Persia (Syria), and Egypt that account for the knowledge and technology that emanated from those areas in history, such as math including medicine, algebra, astronomy, agriculture, engineering, etc. It was common practice for those nations to take the cream of the crop people captive & use them for their knowledge & skills. Iraq, Syria, & Egypt took Hebrews/Israelites/Jews captive & the Jews are the ones who introduced valuable knowledge & skills. Obama & others are telling lies saying we owe the Muslims for their great contributions to the world, when those contributions were made by the Jews. Muslims have contributed two things: Oppression & Death.) http://www.hebrewhistory.info/factpapers/fp010-2_

CHRISTIAN PERSECUTION: In this past century alone an estimated 200 million Christians were murdered for their faith, more than during any other century in human history. The left's "Social Justice" where they're trying to use Jesus & the Bible is the "Great falling away" the Bible warns about. Christians who fall away from the truth & spread false teaching. (They wear abortion, destruction of the sanctity of marriage, destruction of Israel, promotion of Islamic Supremacism as a badge of honor).

"Woe to those who devise wickedness and work evil on their beds! When the morning dawns, they perform it, because it is in the power of their hand. They covet fields and seize them, and houses, and take them away; they oppress a man and his house, a man and his inheritance. " ~ Micah 2:1

"And Jesus answered and said … Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ, and shall deceive many …." (Matthew 24:4,5).

"Let no one deceive or beguile you in any way, for that day will not come except the [a]apostasy comes first [unless the predicted great [b]falling away of those who have professed to be Christians has come], and the man of lawlessness (sin) is revealed, who is the son of doom (of perdition)?"

Jesus Christ, in a parable of a “capitalist,” Mt. 20:15

"The prince shall not take any of the inheritance of the people, thrusting them out of their property. He shall give his sons their inheritance out of his own property, so that none of my people shall be scattered from his property.”

Phillipians 2:11 5 Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, 6 who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, 7 but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. 8 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. 9 Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, 11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

The west is to be blamed fro all this persecutions because they tend to appease Muslims and are more interested in exploring and exploiting their resources.
