The Leftist Agenda: Putting the Black Community in Harm’s Way

Pages: 1 2

Crime imposes a hefty tax on law-abiding residents of black neighborhoods. Residents bear costs of having to shop outside of their neighborhoods; criminals have driven many businesses out. Children can’t play safely in front of their homes. Fearing robberies, taxi drivers, including black drivers, often refuse to accept telephone calls for home pickups and frequently pass black customers by on the street. Neighborhood property values are lower as a result of crime. Plus, there’s the insult associated with not being able to receive pizza or other deliveries on the same terms as people in other neighborhoods.

Often, politicians who call for law and order are viewed negatively, but poor people, particularly poor black people, are the most dependent on law and order. In the face of high crime, wealthier people can afford to purchase alarms, buy guard dogs, hire guards and, if things get too bad, move to a gated community. These options are not available to poor people. The only protection they have is an orderly society.

Democratic and black politicians are beholden to and serve the interests of the powerful vested interest groups, such as labor unions, teachers unions and assorted liberals, not the ordinary people who voted them into office. Otherwise, they wouldn’t begin to allow the rampant crime and nearly systematic destruction of learning opportunities for generations of black children by governmental schools.

None of this is to say that blacks should vote Republican. It is to say that political power doesn’t necessarily translate into economic power and well-being for the ordinary citizen.

I think if we simply punished the murder but allowed the crime to proliferate, criminals would have enough money to invest in legitimate business. Really, we already have laws on the books for punishing murder, but consider how lax the government is in prosecuting murder compared to prosecuting revenue and property violations.

An excellent companion piece to this article is this recent column by Thomas Sowell:

    The numbers are sobering.

The Democratic party really wants the blacks to remain a dependency class of government through welfare, affirmative action, set asides and promoting racial victimization. No one is worse than the black leadership in the Democrats who will label anyone who supports conservative ideas and strays from the Democrat plantation as an "Uncle Tom" or an "Aunt Jemima". The most flagrant of this is taking place in Congress right now as Congressman John Conyers and his Congressional Black Caucus tribalists again introduce H.R. 10 demanding race reparations to all black people from white people which is utterly ridiculous but its purpose is simply race baiting as a "Hating Whitey" fest!

Don't preted like you jews care about us black folks because you DON'T, and we know it. You pretend to help us, but you just use us and exploit our talents for your own evil purposes. Yeah, we know ALL ABOUT that. http://www.rense.com/general75/mech.htm

Your name links to a white power website, and you have chosen a fairly stereotypical "black-sounding" name.

We know exactly what you are, and why you're here.

BTW, "DeShawn," did you know that the site you linked to, in turn links to The David Duke Show. I'll bet you did, you little scamp.

There are some who while they can't go out on a limb and say that all whites are racist, they most assuredly can say are under SUSPICION of racism. My two granddaughters who haven't even entered school are by this definition certainly not exempt.

How does it feel to nurse a grudge? You nurse it, because in fact you NEED it. As long as there are white people, there will always be those you can try to divine their intentions on anything.

Examples of failed black politicians are too numerous to count, but they all follow a common theme… blame whitey, shake down corporations on trumped-up charges of racism & line your own pockets in the name of social justice.

Deshawn, you don't deserve the respect of Jews or white Americans because you have demonstrated time & again that your people don't know how to live like civilized people. You can blame the Jews all you want, but it's time black Americans get their own house in order, & stop blaming or looking to others to solve your numerous pathologies. You embarrass accomplished black individuals like Walter Williams, Thomas Sowell, Bill Cosby & others who are at least honest enough to speak the truth. On the whole, you are pathetic. http://www.nationalcenter.org/P21NVBarberWilliams

Oh, like the law in fla. that let a racist, with a known violent history chase down and shoot to death an unarmed Black teen and not even be charged. Dr. Bell was right!

      Link, please.

Read any paper or just turn on the news, anything other than fox, they're only done one segment on this story.

    • gregzilla

So if one possible murder of a black person by a non-black person – and if it ends up being non-self defense then its murder – proves Dr. Bell right, do thousands of murders of black persons by black persons each year prove Dr. Williams right?

  • kentatwater

I think it's rather interesting, that "DeShawn's" and "Dennis X's" posts appeared on this thread, only two minutes apart.

Looks like somebody's trying to, as Neal Boortz puts it, stir the puddin'.

    • gregzilla

and that's a whole lot of puddin'

anybody else watch the sketch comedy show "the state"?

  • Ghostwriter

I not a fan of either DeShawn or Dennis X. In my opinion, they're two sides of the same rotten coin.

When I started buying up real estate in detroit I thought that I was getting a bargain. Even after visiting the property (there were several to choose from on the street) I thought that I didn't have to worry about vandalism because just like on the African savannah when you're dealing with being hunted down by lions, as a gazelle, that they would only attack the weaker gazelles that couldn't keep up with the pack. My house wasn't a lone foreclosed home on the street, and when I returned to start cleaning it out the vandals had struck my home! Next economic meltdown I am definitely going to get some <a rel='help' href="http://www.homesecuritysystems.net/">home security systems or set some home alone style traps.

    • MikeGiles

You bought real estate in Detroit?
Next time forget the security and traps, just don't buy real estate in Detroit.
What is it they say about real estate: "Location, location, location".

Why are you replying to a spammer?

  • MikeGiles

Google Trayvon Martin AND George Zimmerman. Just because you're too stupid to be aware of current events, doesn't make people who aware of them, are liars.

When a poster says "anything other than [F]ox," there are details that the poster would rather not be known; details typically ignored or whitewashed by the MSM and their hard-left propagandist compatriots. Further, the original poster asserts that one anecdote proves Bell's racist beliefs to be true. That's a lie.

Even further, I'd advise you to temper your readiness to call others stupid, when you reply in earnest, regarding posts which are obviously made by trolls, Mobys, or spammers, such as you do on behalf of "Dennis X," and in response to "donnahume." Look at my post immediately after this sub-thread, and look at the website that "DeShawn's" name takes you to. I'm convinced that "DeShawn" and "Dennis X" are either the same person, or working in concert, to make Moby-style posted intended to make blacks look bad. The musician "Moby" suggested exactly this strategy, to make conservatives look bad, and I believe this is what is in play here.
