20,000 of Obama’s Illegal Alien DREAMERS Looking for Financial Aid in California

This is what all the variations of the DREAM Act and the pathways to citizenship and all the exemptions always end up looking like… a giant horde descending on already bankrupt states and demanding more money.

More than 20,000 college-bound students are seeking state financial aid for the first time under California’s new Dream Act laws that allow them to get the help despite their immigration status.

While far from a complete picture, that number is the best indicator yet of how many students hope to benefit from a pair of laws that could radically change the college experience for a generation of students whose parents brought them to the U.S. illegally when they were young — the same group that has taken center stage in the national immigration reform debate.

“For many of them, it’s a game-changer,” said Meng So, who coordinates UC Berkeley’s months-old Undocumented Student Program.

It’s a game changer for everyone. Including the taxpayers. And the DREAMERS become a night for an already overburned state.

Since when do these people understand the meaning of the term "bankruptcy"? They don't. Money grows on trees, or spews from a mysterious black hole, or can be taken from a shrinking, productive middle class, shrinking because that class is fleeing the Golden State because its managers and regulators and taxers worship at the altar of the Golden Calf of tax and spend and tax again. Dream on, Jose.

Nonsense – all the money comes from Obama's stash! LOL!

With any luck California really will fall into the Pacific – that would get rid of Hollywood, a lot of illegals, and an awful lot of Democrats. Let's pray Diane Feinstein and "call me Senator" Barbara Boxer are there when it happens.

We're told these people are proud! Instead of begging for handouts, now they demand them.

The Radical-in-Chief's "dreamers" are America's nightmare! In fact, giving them more handouts will certainly not help matters, other than further bankrupt the nation, but THAT's his plan. In any case, does anyone believe that a leader who eschews the rule of law will do anything for the benefit of LEGAL citizens? http://adinakutnicki.com/2012/10/20/what-are-the-

Oh, my…..who would have expected differently?

Well, Mr Perry in Texas give them Tuition breaks as well. Its just the Dems in Ca gave them more fiiancial aid. Need to tell mexicans and central americans no period.

Believe me a lot of Texans are NOT happy about that one. However, the state of Texas currently has a $13 Billion (with a b) surplus.

    • JacksonPearson

California had a huge emergency surplus, double that size at one time. All it took was one phony, man made crisis, and the whole pile (tens of billions) developed legs, and vaporized overnight. Not a penny have ever been recovered. A governor was recalled, but nothing else.

Politicians can't stand to see huge amounts of public monies laying in a supposedly secure place, or lock box, especially if they have the keys to get at it.

California will have to replace nearly every current elected official if the state is to turn around its' current horrendous financial horror story; rather than do so, the voters continue to send liberals to Sacramento, crazy new legislation is passed into law, and the economy continue to tank.

The problem is very similar in many California counties and cities. The voting public simply does not understand, or perhaps care about, the financial straits in which the state and many cities have created for themselves.

    • Jim

A majority of the "voting block" are turd world peasants demanding more and more handouts.

    Schadenfreude America!
