7 Million Americans Will Lose Their Health Insurance Under Obamacare

Or to put those numbers in perspective, the number of Americans who will lose their health insurance under Obamacare is more than twice Obama’s margin of victory in the popular vote in the 2012 election.

On March 23, 2010, Obama said “If you like your current insurance, you will keep your current insurance. No government takeover. Nobody’s changing what you’ve got if you’re happy with it.”

A new CBO budget report released today says that’s probably not true for 7 million Americans. That’s the number who are expected to lose employer-based coverage as businesses decide its not worth shelling out for the government approved plans when other options are available.

The estimate of those Americans who will lose their health insurance has moved up from 4 million to 7 million. The actual number may prove to be even worse than either estimate.

Obamacare is a disaster even before the final countdown. It’s a giant rock in an avalanche of regulations headed directly for the American health care system, intent on destroying everything in its path.

No one, at least those with rational thought processes, believed that ObamaCare was about caring for the people. Not at all. But it was about regulating EVERY aspect of people's lives, as well as bankrupting the system. Hence, the inevitability of starting from the ground up, "fairly" – http://adinakutnicki.com/2012/08/07/barack-hussei

The piper is gonna be paid, one way or another. As to the gimme, gimme crowd, most of them don't have much to lose anyway, as they are less than the producing kind. As to the rest….

It's a shame we weren't able to completely socialize healthcare to provide a minimal level of coverage for everyone. Amortized costs for health care are much lower than individual costs. And being able to negotiate with big pharma and big medicine on the costs of drugs and treatments has a huge impact on the costs. Take a look at how SSA and Medicaid bargain with Pfizer, Novartis, and Merck.

Going Wal-Mart has the same side effects. You can negotiate with pharmaceutical companies to get a better deal, and hope that they don't begin cutting too many costs in research and manufacturing, but that is doable because pharmaceuticals are on a standardized production line.

Medical professionals are not. Forcing lower reimbursement rates on a doctor or hospital is going to have basic quality of care consequences.

It's smarter to look at regulatory ways to cut costs of care for doctors, instead of increasing their costs through collective middlemen while squeezing them on reimbursements.

Yeah, that's what we've got going on up here in Canada. Price controls on prescription drugs, which means you guys in USA are subsidizing our cheap drugs! For realz!

The ObamaCare regulators will have a simple solution for all those employers who decide it's not worth shelling out money to Obamacare approved plans when there are other options available: Close those options, or make them prohibitively expensive, and they've corralled all the nay-sayers. To paraphrase Henry Ford's old advice: You can have any insurance plan you want, as long as it's Obama's.

The New Age eugenics/dysgenics law (ironically named after a man with partial African DNA) was made possible by promoting it as being more about access to abortion and contraceptives than all the other totalitarian items in the law (and only a few legislators actually read the it!). From O'Reilly on Fox to local newscasters, it was all about women's rights and the war on women. This same thing happened in the 1930s, when women thought they controlled and would save the world through selective breeding. Hitler is in blackface this time, to suit the insane racial politics of the age. It's good that women can be in combat, they should pay the ulimate price this time, not just brave men.

I don't know why Obama didn't just plagiarize the Canada Health Act.

We are just expecting or predicting that Obamacare delivers a number of positive aspects to protect our health insurance issues but in reality that we are just suffering from worst part of Obamacare; under Obamacare we have witnessed a number of people are losing their health insurance as Obamacare is a disaster and it cuts off our health insurance coverage. http://urgentcarenow.com/directory/ca
