Democratic congressional leaders keep insisting that they’re going to run on ObamaCare in 2014. What they aren’t saying is that they have no choice but to run on ObamaCare, because they’re going to be judged by it either way. There’s just no way to blame something called ObamaCare on Bush.

The YG Network Congressional District Poll of 1,652 likely voters in 11 competitive U.S. House districts indicates Obamacare will be a powerful issue that motivates voters in important races in 2014. Twenty-seven percent of respondents claimed knowing someone or personally receiving a health-insurance cancellation notice. Seventy-three percent said they didn’t have that experience.

I’m sure there’s no way that a tiny minority like 27 percent of voters in competitive districts can possibly matter. It can’t be why Obama is panicking so badly and throwing his insurance industry allies under the bus while promising useless fixes that he blame them for.

In the same poll, 57 percent said these cancellation notices would be one of the most important issues in the 2014 election cycle. More than eight in 10 of those polled blamed both congressional Democrats and President Barack Obama for the cancellations.

It gets better… but no, it doesn’t.

Fifty-five percent say they prefer a Member of Congress who will be a check to Obama, versus 45 percent who say they prefer a Member of Congress who will help Obama pass his agenda.

Still not getting any better…

Forty three percent of respondents approve of the President, compared with 54 percent who disapprove

Nope

Forty-five percent of likely voters approve of the law compared with 53 percent who disapprove.

Really bad…

Fifty-nine percent say the ACA will increase total healthcare costs, 27 percent say they will stay the same, and 14 percent say they will be reduced as a result.

Really, really bad…

By a 46 to 29 margin, respondents say they view a Member of Congress less favorably if they voted for Obamacare.

Really, very bad…

More Than Eight In 10 Respondents Blame Congressional Democrats For Health Insurance Cancellations: Only 19 percent of respondents do not blame President Obama.

Hope, Change and Fail.

Don’t doubt that there is a way Obama and his clown crew will blame this on Bush. Obama and the Democrats will say something like, Well, if Bush had just passed a reasonable health care bill we wouldn’t have had to conjure up this mess we’re in now, so, you see, it’s all Bush’s fault.

They’ll call it Pajamacare. Pajamaboy will say he’s a registered Republican and the media will insist it was a Republican idea all along.
